I have a fairly complex set-up with Airtable automation and Integromat automation that does a whole bunch of stuff very nicely. I'll attempt a simple description of one part of it that is relevant to my request...People can use a form to "watch" for changes in a record. Their email address is added as a multiple-select option to that record when they submit the form. The automation I've set up sends them an email when that record changes.This all works fine but now I want to allow them to cancel this alert and I'm a bit stumped. My thinking is that they can use a second form which references the record and their email address and when it's submitted the automation will look up the record and remove the multiple-select option that matches the email address if it exists.I just don't know how to do this. I'm assuming a script will be required and I'm not familiar with scripting myself.Help? &#x1f605

Hey all. I’m trying to use WP Webhooks pro to export records into a custom post on our Wordpress website. We have real estate listings in Airtable and want to export this data including images to Wordpress, where we use custom post types as listings. Apparently this can be done with Webhooks. But I can’t 100% figure out how to do. I’ve been some tutorials online where they create a button in each record with formulas that fires a webhook for that particular record, which would be perfect. But how are the images exported? Any feedback and guidance really appreciated. Thank you!

I have an Airtable which contains several automation scripts that are being run. Is there a good way of automatically saving those scripts to an external source, or connecting them to a github repo (or something similar) so that version controlling can be done on them? This would be useful for me to keep track of what changes have been made and give me the ability to restore older versions of the script if something breaks. Apparently Airtable’s “Snapshots” do save the automation data, but I’m not sure in what capacity? The documentation online seems to mostly focus on the table data itself. Plus, there isn’t a way I know of to “look inside” the snapshot, only restore that version completely.

Hello everyone, I have a scenario where I am extracting entries from Google Sheets (different types) and pass it to #Airtable using #Make (#Integromat)The error that I'm getting is "Invalid URL in parameter", I mapped the fields from G Sheets (URL) to the fields related I have in Airtable (Type: URL). The URL fields that have value didn't throw any errors, only the empty fields have thrown this error.Error:Below you can find the scenario in #Make (#Integromat)below is the module (Upsert a record in #Airtable) that have the errors):As you can see from the previous image, When I tried to map the field as is while it's empty it threw the error, and I tried to use (ifempty) formula but the same happened.Does anyone have any idea of how to handle empty fields (especially URLs) ?Thank you!

I know this has been asked and answered, but I’m still confused about what I’m doing wrong. 2 tables, ‘Cust.’ & ‘Vehicles’. (1) Cust can have (many) vehicles (1) Vehicle can have only (1) Cust. I have the automation setup to add the ‘Cust. Name’ to the ‘Vehicles’ table, and then add the ‘Vehicle’ to the ‘Cust.’ table. ISSUE: Any customer who has more than one Vehicle is having the previous ‘Vehicle’ overwritten by the new one!?!? ASK: Please tell me how to fix this… (screenshots to follow) Thanks, dg

Hi team I’m at the very beginning with no-code tools and just trying to build my own ‘doodle’ homemade :winking_face: I used Tally to collect datas from 2 dedicated forms : the first one, for my guests i invited from Mailchimp. I have a database in Airtable, “guest”, which is replicated and segmented in mailchimp. Key is the email adress. the second for my events which are each under a own capacity constraint. Key is an agregated field including the name & date of the event in my “event” table. Hey there,non-coder here...I added extension "Create records for multiple templates". I hooked it up to run when a button is pressed. It is working correctly.But I would prefer for it to run auto once conditions are met. I know this can be done in automations with a scripting block. My question is - can I just copy and paste code from the extension into a scripting block for automation?I tried, but I am seeing a lot of red. I assume I am misunderstanding the foundation of the code, or I am missing a step? Would adding something in the input variables to make this work?

Hello, I’m trying to make an automation to send several records to my suppliers at a scheduled time but I cannot make my automation works. In my base, I have one table where I have hundreds of suppliers, and i’m using another table to register all the payments I make each day. I would like an automation to : Search all the payments made the day before Make a list for each supplier Send only one mail per supplier with all the records matching the condition {Date of payment} is yesterday The problem I have is that if I used as a trigger a specific time, i’m not able to make a list of each record by supplier. Either i have to send all the payments to all my supplier in one email, either I can select the records matching a supplier but the automation send one email per record so some of my suppliers will receive several times the same email. I have hundreds of suppliers and payment each day so making one automation per supplier is not an option. Anyone who can help me to fix it ? :sligh

Hello Everyone, I have 2 tables that have records I want to update. One table is called Inventory, and the other is Content Info. ‘Inventory’ is our bible but the ‘Content Info’ have some records that we want to update in the Inventory, I have a field called “Housenumber” for both tables, but because in the ‘Inventory’ we tend to have multiple records entered by multiple people for “Titles” (with different spelling) but with same housenumbers, this makes the confusion (i know). Now we need to find the “Housenumbers” in the Inventory with the same from Content Info, so we can update the fields we require by automation not manually. We’re doing this automation so we can update the field ‘Season ID’ and ‘Show ID’ I have references below: Content Info Table Inventory Table As you can see, “Jad Al Shoja” has records in both sides when I searched the “Housenumber”, but in the Inventory it’s 2 entries. I have two tables linked together, one with Contacts and one with Themes. One contact can have multiple Themes. The table Themes contains the name of the theme and his URL. Every time a new contact is created, I want to send an email with an automation. In this email, I would like to insert the name of the theme as an hyperlink with his URL. Now, this would be easy if the contact had only one theme, but it can have more than one. I can insert the themes only as a List or a Grid, and even if I put the URL is not clickable, is just text. That’s what I have for now. And that’s the complete automation: “Typeform x Seekers” is where I have my contacts. There is a way to transform the URLs in the grid (in the column Status) in a hyperlink?

Hi, I have a roll up field, let’s call it “income” What I want is to create an automation with these conditions: Every two days (scheduled time) If “income”>10,000€ I can make an automation “live”, that is: to send an email as soon as “income” exceeds the 10,000€ with the name of the record and all the info I want, but what I want is to check the situation on that time interval. When I chose as a trigger: “scheduled time” then in the configuration I have 3 options for fields: “Actual Trigger Time”, “Expected…” and “Next…” And that’s it. What’ am I missing or doing wrong?

Hey, i have a base with many record that contain an email, next to this email field there is a checkbox field. I know how to add this email into a “link to another record” field in a different base if I check the box with automation. But I don’t know how to remove it if I uncheck the box. I want to remove just the mail of the box that are uncheck and keep those that are check. tanks

Hi all, I’m using Airtable as a PM collecting feature requests from my stakeholders - I want to assign a status to those requests (i.e parked, exploring, on roadmap, completed, out of scope) and want to trigger an email when the status of their request has changed. The trigger is fine but I only want the trigger the email when the status is changed the second time since i have a separate trigger for the first change sending a ‘feedback’ field in the email while the status trigger is just to inform them of a change to their request. My idea was to create a column with a formula that counts the number of modifications to a specific field (in this case status field) and set the trigger to fire when {count of modifications} > 1 so that it will fire if updated in the future everytime the status field is modified. Curious to see if this is possible. Thanks!

I have two tables, one is Parts and the other is Updates. For every Part, there are 1 or more updates linked to that part. The updates have a “Type” field, and can be one of several types of updates. For this, I am concerned with “Test” and “Test Request” . Basically, someone can add a record that is a Test Request. This causes the update record to show up in a queue so that our operators know to test the part. When the part is tested, I use the API to add a Test update to the same table. But when this happens, I want to check off a field in the original Test Request Record, “Fulfilled”. I don’t need to link the two records at the moment. But the question is, how do I find the id of the Test Request Record when the Test comes in? (When a new update is made and it’s of Type=Test, I want to check off all the Test Requests for that same part)

I have a table with services I have a table with the tasks associated with (linked to) services I have a table for my sales. I have a table for my deliverables When I add a new record in my sales table and I pick the service that was associated with that sale, I also want it to lookup the tasks associated with that service, then create a separate record for each of the tasks that need to be delivered, in my deliverables table. Any suggestions welcome please!

Hello, Is it possible to move a record from one table to another table in the same base when a future date is reached? i.e. Record A in Table A expires 25/11/2022, on expiry Record A is written in Table B. If this is possible, how would I go about implementing it? Is there a Script I can use or do I need to Build an Extension? Any assistance you might be able to give would be very much appreciated. Hi Airtable Fans, I am a fan of Airtable Automation but can’t find out something. This is my automation goal: When create a record IF New Record match X condition (X could be “contain text …” in cell) Then send an email I don’t find how to put condition before sending an email. And if I start automation with condition “When record matches conditions”, then it triggers all rows that meet the condition, not only the new records.

Here is the link to a Template Base Customer Order logs Factory Orders Status Tracker for the orders that are created to manufacture items to fulfill the customer’s order. The Functionality I’m trying to Implement is in the Factory Order Status Table. The factory creates a record in the table for each Item Style# for every Order and after a few days, they add a “Factory Ship Date” in a Date field. Now, I want to capture the Original Date/value that was entered in this “Factory Ship Date” field and copy it over to “Original Factory Ship Date” in case the Factory changes the date Ship date due to delays, so that I can track the Actual Ship date vs. the “Original Ship date” that was reported by the Factory. Hey, I have a table where I have a formula column that automatically generates an Airtable form link that prefills a few data such as name and email before sending it. What I noticed is after someone fills out the form and submits it, a new row is created rather than Updating/appending the row I used to create the formula, does anyone know how to resolve this?
