Hello everyone,I am very new to scripting, so hoping I can get some support here.In short, I am trying to use the "Find Records" automation action to get a list of records, and then pass that list onto the script to delete them. Below is what I have but am getting "TypeError: Invalid arguments passed to table.deleteRecordAsync(recordOrRecordId): • recordOrRecordId → recordOrRecordId should be a Record, not undefined or recordOrRecordId should be a string, not undefined"I believe this is because the list is being passed to the script as a string, not a record, but am not certain that is the issue or how to rectify. Whenever I include Date & Time fields in email automations, the time gets converted to UTC. Is there a way to prevent this? Thanks!

Hi all, I am trying to create an automation where when I add an activity to a person in the first table (which draws from a second table), in a third table it automatically creates a row with the person and activity each as individual entries, which I can manage in a Kanban with a third drop-down option, as outlined below. I want to be able to match each person individually to each activity for this Kanban option, so I can filter and monitor people's responses to an activity overall one at a time. The problem is, with the automation I've created, instead of creating an individual entry for the latest activity I've added with the person I added it to (see table 3 DESIRED below), it instead creates a row with all of the activities attached to that person (as you see in the last table – table 3 ACTUAL).The automation goes like this: When "activity" is updated in table 1Automatically create new entry in table 3I tried adding a step in between – search for "person" in table 2

Hello,I have an automation based on a button click that creates a number of records in a separate base based on what is selected in a multi select field. The automation itself works well, but I am having an issue with people accidently clicking the button multiple times and creating duplicate records. They do need the functionality to run the automation if the multi select field changes, though.My thought was I could use the now() function in a field to essentially create a "Button last clicked" field, use a formula to compare that to the last time the multi select field was modified, and then use that formula's output as a conditional check for an action within the button automation.The issue I am having with this approach is around the now() function, the field only seems to update every 10-60 minutes. So within those 10-60 minutes, the check doesn't work and the button can be clicked multiple times.Is there a better approach to this? A way to work around the now() function providing

Hello allI have a "maintenance log" and have created an ID field with date / autonumber (ie - 14th December #1)The autonumber I am doing with a simple autonumber field, but I am wondering if there is a way of resetting the number to 1 each day just to keep it clean.  It would also be a good way of seeing how many issues are created each day.I have tried the following with no success :Add a "Next ID" field - which is the current ID plus 1Create an automation which searches records created today onlyIntention was to find the most recent record - then use the "Next ID" field to populate the "Current ID" field - but I can't limit my search to just 1, most recent record.Trying to avoid using Make / Integromat if I can.Any thoughts?Andrew

I'm wondering how one might go about creating a script or automation that would create a title for YouTube links and possibly for websites as well.For example, when the YouTube link is pasted into the field, the title of the video is read and then inputted into a title field.This is to save time by not having to go through and label all the YouTube links and websites.

Hi, I want to send emails to my customers using the Gmail automation and I was wondering if I can somehow change the direction of the text to RTL (the mails are in Hebrew)

we still dont have grouping or sorting for records found by conditions in automations. and you cant add an additional dynamic filter to the view you choose… this makes this effectively useless for many cases. we keep getting things added to the ‘by view’ option but the ‘by condition’ option you need to use in order to have dynamic lists in emails. we either need view selection to be able to be dynamic or we need to be able to add an additional condition to the view. ‘show me the records from the expiring projects view where sales person is sales person from the triggering record’ or ‘show me the records where the name of the view matches the sales persons name from the triggering record.’

Can anyone help me solve this puzzle? I need to insert a simple table into a record. Basically within a record I need to collect the data in rows with headers. Someone has already faced this problem. Thanks in advance to everyone.

I have an input variable called “recordId” with value of Domain of website. My question is, when we create a new form from the interface to add a record to a table, how do we access that record? I noticed when we set up input variables, they only access specific values we give it. How do we avoid this and allow variable to be free to capture the data in the form? const config = input.config(); const recordId = config[‘recordId’]; console.log(recordId); For example, let says I have an interface form that allows me to create a record. Let’s assume the form has: Name, Domain. When I click submit to create a new record entry, this input variable should have Name, Domain. For some reason, I’m unable to figure this out.

I am trying to get a sum total of a column in an automation that will send out an email showing the new total every time an amount is added. I was tasked to create an automation running a script, but I am very new to script writing. Any help would be most appreciated

Hey AirTable Community Me again, I am currently using Zapier and WATI. I have a base of all my Leads, sometimes, Leads are created twice intentionally. When a record is created in AirTable, I want Zapier to notice. Then Zapier will tell WATI to create a Contact based on the details. Then Zapier will also tell WATI to send a template message to the person. The above is easy enough. The problem lies thereafter, since I can have Leads with the same Phone number, I don’t really want WATI to create two of the same contact and send the same message twice. So my idea is that after a record is created in AirTable, I want AirTable to look for another Lead that has the exact same phone number, but not the same Lead Unique ID. If the result is TRUE, then do nothing. If the result is FALSE, then proceed with the rest of the steps. I am slightly limited to Zapier as a tool for now since the WATI integration with Integromat/make is a little “wonky” and unintelligent (or maybe I am wonky and unintell

Can you incorporate record list block in automations? Since I found this is the only way to limit X number of rows to show. 

I wrote a simple script to calculate the unmet needs of a particular product based on the status of orders.And the script has successfully found the result: Sum 7Then I ask airtable to update the corresponding record field "Amount in Need," which is a "number(int)" .As you can see, the system found the correct record, yet it threw an error: received invalid inputs.This is confusing.What did I do wrong?

In coding I would run this in a for() or foreach() arguments, however, I’m a little frustrated trying to think how to execute what I want to achieve. Synopsys: I’m trying to generate new invoices annually for my clients using the page designer (but not this is relevant to that extension). I have a table for clients, payment details, invoices, products and invoiceProducts. I’m working in the Invoices table using fields InvoiceDate, InvoiceDue and NextInvoice when entering view to perform relevant actions. In addition, InvoiceProducts I’m using fields Renewable and RenewingDate to also generate an automation when entering view to decide if that products renew on this invoice or not. The problem I’m finding is that when InvoiceProducts enters view, and there are multiple rows the automation does not know how to distribute this data in the action (or better said, I don’t know how to use this data in Airtable). Trying to do a basic automation where I run a find record search but do not want a failure notice if the record isn't found, and I'm not sure how to accomplish that.I'm trying to match email domains from an email received to a contact list.  Since emails received won't always have a matching contact, I don't consider a non-result a failure, but I'm just not sure how to avoid a failure notice in the event there isn't a match.I'm also doing the find record based on two conditions: Search for a match of domain names, and searching for any projects marked with a specific status.  This whittles the find record search down to just one record in our use case.Anyone have any insight into how to avoid the automation failure notice if find records doesn't find a record?

Project is about organizing tiktok video performance.I have a view on a different tab that filters by date(weekly) and sort by number of views.I wanted to create a tab that copies top 5 videos on this view weekly. I figured out the trigger on automation to run weekly. Filter on the view is also adjust weekly. The problem is I don't know how to copy only the top 5 videos. I'm not sure if this is possible. 

Hi there,I've created an airtable where i store (anonymously) every lead generated for our clients by our agency.i have différent informations : ID of the lead, client, agency of the client, campaign, Revenue, Cost, source and a few other field.The problem is in 3 months we are already reaching 50K records and even getting the 250K plan won't be an option. So i plan to have 2 bases :- One (the current) where the leads keeps arriving every day (the history will stop at the previous month included)- One where i merge the records by month (by doing the sum of the cost and the revenue). This would reduce greatly the number of records.For example, let's say i have 200 records of leads for one of my client that came from Facebook in november, I would reduce that to one line only.Then 1500 leads for that same client come from Google and it would also be reduced to a line.Any idea how i could do this ? via a Script ?or is there a better way to manage this ?thanks in advance !
