We run a 10-week workshop and want to send emails out after each workshop to the attendees. Right now we have a multiple select field with Wk 1, Wk 2, etc and we use that to track who attended. Now we want to send emails out and I can figure out the best way to trigger emails using that single field. Wk 1 is easy, if they have Wk 1 they get the email. if not, they dont. But once we get to Wk 2 it gets more challenging.I don't want to end up with 10 fields one for each week because the team that uses the base will never update it so I'm looking for creative ideas on how to trigger each email. I'm also not opposed to creating some fields at the end of the table that update based on weeks selected but I'm not sure how to do that either.Thanks,Brad  

I want to create an email digest that automatically sends an email with 3 randomly chosen records from one of my tables. The idea is that it randomly sends me 3 per week until it has cycled through all of them and then restarts (all records become eligible again). I messed around with email digest automation but was struggling with the part where you randomly select records and record when it has already been sent (thus making that record ineligible until all have been sent). Any ideas for how to accomplish this? 

hello, i want to automticaly update or create data from MS SQL server to Airtable (see attached file)The process is:I have a view in a table in a DB on MS SQLEveryday automatic execution of the view to create a CSV file on Google DriveI want Airtable update existing records that have been modified in csv file and create new records that have been added to csv file.I already check with Pabbly Connect, I can upgrade if I manually change records in the csv file, but what I want is if the a new release of the csv file have been updated on google drive, Airtable is updated.ThanksSylvain 

Hi,  I would like to run an automation to create the next 7 day scheduling, adding the next 7 working days in calander it would be best if i can copy the last most recent row values as well, but some fields will not be copiedat minimum i would like to run a scrip to add the next 7 days Example: The last date is 25th Dec, i would like the script to add 7 rows 26 Dec 27 Dec 28 Dec and so on  

Hi Everyone! I have a base with 30 tweets that I'd like to automatically publish everyday. Once I get to the end of those 30 tweets, I'd like to start from the beginning and repost them. I am familiar with the "post a tweet" automation provided by airtable, but I'm unable to find out how to make it restart from the top once it reaches the end of my base.Has anyone figured out how to do this?

Hello, I want to link 2 records if they are scheduled in the same week, and then create a new record in a table that stores those linked records. I also want the original 2 records to have the newly created records ID. My goal is to do the following: If two records are in the same week, create a record (let's say record A) in table X, then update those two records with record A's record ID# If anyone could show a visual example on how they would do this that would be highly appreciated as I work better with visual learning.  

Hello,In one base I've created tables of instructors, students, classes, locations and training dates and linked them.  I've automated signup genius to populate my students table when someone registers for a course.  I've set the total number or students for each class and a calculation of % of full.  When it reaches 100%, i have an automation update a record on the class page indicating it's full (although I'm not sure that's really necessary).  When that happens I want Airtable to email (through my Outlook) a roster of the students assigned to that "full class" to the two instructors associated with that particular "session" or individual class.  I cannot figure out how to do that. 

I get served a list of 500 company numbers every weekday at 5 am, i need to have available information for my sales agents by 7.30 am in the morning.This i solve by using an API that collects the information from a government website where i come from. It's the only source available.The API is limited to just one company per request.I have solved this code wise using a for of loop which loops over my table, sends an api fetch request based on the number, then inserts the information, then starts the next loop.The issue I'm facing is the limit of 50 fetch requests pr automation.The only solution i can come up with myself at my current code/situation is to make the automation limited to 50 runs pr automation, then make 10+ scheduled weekday runs.I have access to 50.000 monthly automation runs so that's no issue, but there has to be a better/ More elegant solution than this?Here's an example API link:

I have an automation which makes a Facebook Pages post.Trigger: when a record gets a PNG added to an attachment field.Action: Make an FB Pages post with the attached PNG file.Odd thing is that the trigger and actions all work in manual testing mode, but when left on autopilot they don't....though occasionally one might (see the bottom of the run history in the pic)Anyone have any success making FB Pages posts w/images included?Any idea how to make an image file type that live automations are happy with?Thanks!

I am writing an automation script that takes an input X. I lookup X in a table, and then go on and do stuff with what I've found.But if the lookup comes up empty, (no qualifying records), I want to exit the script. I could do this:if (X was not found in table) {    output.set("error", `${X} was not found`)} else {    // do stuff}But this gets messy. If I need to lookup X, and then Y, and then Z, then each additional lookup results in more indentation of my code. What I'd like to do is this:if (X was not found in table) {    return from script}"return" isn't allowed. Googling has not provided an answer.Is there any way to do what I want?

Hi all! Hoping you can help me with something. Context- I need to be able to load a template via an interface (therefore, can't set up a button to do it). There is a handy little extension in Airtable called "Create records for multiple templates" that basically sets up a script for you to achieve this. However, because I need to move this into an automation, and the automation action "run a script" can't communicate with the extensions dashboard, I need to convert the dashboard script to work for automations. I've updated the //define fields from script settings portion, but I haven't worked out how to hard code in the part where it wants user input on which record to choose. I've pasted the script below, and the lines (I think) that are the issue are 24-34 (under the // Select parent record to create child records & select type section). Hi there. I use (or used) an automation via a check box to create a duplicate quote record when e.g. the client wants to make amendments to the line items of a quote and I want to keep the existing quote. The duplicate record automation replicates a few fields from the previous quote and copies them to the new quote record as per the image below: The problem I’m having is that the Line Items table’s primary field is a formula field so it looks like the automation doesn’t like it and spits out the following error: “Field “Name” cannot accept the provided value: Cannot modify a computed field.” This automation has actually worked before so I’ve no idea why it’s not working now or something has changed somehow. Is their any way to resolve this or shall I just forget the idea of being able to duplicate this record within the structure of my

HiI have an automation that transfers the details of the record to a new column in Google Sheets.I want the first column to write the number according to the report adders. That is, someone else joins Google Sheets - it writes the number 2 next to it. After someone else joins, it writes the number 3 next to it.Thank you!

I uploaded all the attachments in Onedrive and used the links to create an automation in this way:But when I used the grid or list, the URLs were just text, and they aren't in the bullet list format.Is there any way I can create a bullet list of real URLs that the client can just click?The "InnerJoin2" and "InnerJoin" are just text, because they are a result of an automation script.Thank you very much!

Hi,Our County Council use Airtable to record prospects for home energy efficiency work.  The local energy advise organisation uses Airtable to track the energy efficiency work done with those prospects who live in its local area. (I configured both systems)Both organisations have pro plans, but are completely separate legal entities.I need to move records between the two.  I know I could download to a .csv and import the data to the other base, but there must be a more elegant solution and I am wondering if other people have addressed this requirement.Cheers Margaret  

Hi, I think I'm struggling understanding how the Find a Record action works.I'm attempting to create a monthly reminder email that needs to include information populated from a current record. If I use the At a Scheduled Time trigger, I have to use Find a Record to pass the correct information into the automation.Is it correct that it just passes information as a list? So if you're only returning one record (which should be the case with my conditions), then it works as I need it to (for instance, using a field for a link).However, does this mean I cannot use it to populate a file in my email as an attachment? Am I going about this the wrong way?

Hi there, I copied this script from the scripting app. I tried to search in topics already but I am going around in circles and still getting errors. I want to copy two fields additional fields from my task template to my tasks. The fields are called Status and Stage. The fields are same names in both tables. They are single select. Can someone help. I added these following lines based on info I could find in topics but I am still receiving “Error: x: Can’t create records: invalid cell value for field ‘Status’. Could not find a choice with that ID or name at main on line 126”

HeyIs there any way, to use data from the linked record without looking-up all needed fields to the view?To picture that: 1st notice field is a linked record for the "Document number" from another view. I want to send an auomatic email that is having some variables from the linked record, but without looking up all needed columns to the view, becuase my database is already quite heavy and I have around 60 columns hidden.Based on this example, in document number paul1 we have linked record of another document - Anna 1 and we look up for the attachment from this record - 1st notice attachment. Now I can obviously use this attachment in email. But would it be possible without calling it to the view?

I have two tables let say Entrepreneurs and Midwest Investors. when a form submitted in Entrepreneurs then I am trying to find a records from Midwest Investors that matches with new record in Entrepreneurs. Here are the condition Conditions are: Midwest Investors with Entrepreneurs Investment stage has any of Investment stage Investment verticals has all of Industry Ideal revenue is Annual Revenue (Projected This year) Investment Geography has any of What region’s doe’s the Company operates in. The above 2 condition should always match to proceed further but in airtable automation all conditions are either in “AND” or “OR”. So, how to achieve my goal

Hello everyone! I hope that someone can assist me in this. So I've made 2 tables: One with tickets from Zendesk (synced through Airtable) and one with issues reported from customers. Let's say that we have Issue A and 5 tickets associated with this issue. I've linked Issue A with Records from the first table so that I am able to "attach" Records to the issue Record (issue A). However the overview in the selection window is not very good since not a lot of information is available due to lack of space. And it's not possible to search by ticket tags fx. Therefore I want to do it the other way around by selecting the relevant tickets form table 1 and send them to the Issue A Record in table 2. Isn't that possible?
