Hi all,I'm trying to setup an automation that updates a record when an events is scheduled that matches users in the database to confirm that they scheduled and when. I can do this with Zapier but I'm trying to do it directly in Airtable.The main problem is that I need to use Attendees to Find a Record where e-mail contains "guest email" but this field is grayed out and says "No valid nested options".Any ideas / suggestions?

So I'm running into an error that I can't seem to fix. Whenever I try to set a condition based on a linked record or a formula field, I get that an unknown error has occurred.My first table, products, have a linked field to a record inside the main product master where the product's vendor is linked. So I've created a lookup field for the vendor record id and stored it inside my products table. The value for that record is "recSdTazTLqgiGtBb".My second table, Vendor IDs, which contains all of my different Webflow IDs, is also linked to the vendor in the table. I'm trying to pull data directly from linked record in an Automation by using the Find Records action with a Condition to match the Record ID which i added to the main record via Lookup field. BUT when I try to reference the Rec ID field it says "no valid nested options"?? I am using the gear icon to match and find the recordIs there some way to lookup a linked record and pull data into Automation directly, ie without adding fields manually to the main record?

I mistakenly clicked 'unsubscribe', and now I can't receive any emails from Airtable Automation (noreply+automations@airtableemail.com). Since my email provider is not a common one like Outlook or Gmail, I don't have the option to add 'Safe senders' or 'domains'. Is there any solution to my problem? Thanks a lot!

We have an Airtable business account – it's our slow season so we're trying to save some money so I'm working on changing up our base design to be more forms-based.One thing I'm curious about though – say I make an interface with a button that triggers an automatic, then I have a user with read-only access and an unpaid account.  I assume that they would not be able to push that button to run the automation, is that accurate?

Hello,I am trying to figure out how to create a form to add attachment to an exciting record.I have a form that updates  any field including attachment in exciting record but problem is it doesn't keep attachments that was there prior.My main idea is to share a form with anyone online so that anyone could only upload files to an existing specified record and not be able deleting files that were uploaded by others.  Thank you.

Hey everyone! I’ve set up an automation in Zapier that sends signed agreements from our service to Airtable. I’ve gotten everything to work as I want it to, but not all of the PDF:s are attached in airtable. I can’t really see a pattern to why the documents wouldn’t show up. From what I can see in the version history of the rows that aren’t, the PDF has been there but then instantly removed. It seems the problem lies with Airtable as the document shows up, but I can’t figure it out. Here’s what it looks like in version history: Any ideas on why the document gets deleted?

HI,  I run a real estate agency and woud love an easy way to create a PDF from images in an attachment field.Basically the way we do inventory is by images and it takes agents too long to drag and drop images into a doc file. Woudl be great if they can upload all images to an attachment field and then the PDF is created with the all the images.  Whats the best way to do this? Preferably free or very cheap. We usually need about 60-100 inventory documents per month. Thank you in advance!

An automation of mine that usually runs fine started throwing this error and failing sporadically. It's for a webhook automation that brings in orders from Shopify. In my attempt to isolate the issue, I've deleted every field from my "Create Record" action, except for Name (single line text) field where I attempt to enter the Customer First & Last name, but it still fails. 🤔 🤔 There are no roll-ups on the table where I'm trying to create the records. There are some formula fields on the table, but I'm not trying to write to those fields. Any ideas? The other threads related to this error message in the community forum did not contain an answer.

I hope the community can help me out.Our Airtable connected to our Shopify store via Airpower, so everything is synced in real time.We have a Table named 'Order Line Items' that displays each Shopify order and each item (SKU) is separated in its own row within the order. What we are trying to achieve is to display the inventory number for each item.Inventory data is stored in another table named 'Variants' and organized by SKU in one field, and the inventory quantity in another field.Does anyone have experience with dealing in anything similar?I'm not sure if this is relevant, but I have gone as far as being able to create a field in the Order Line Items table that links to our Variants table (that contains inventory data). Hey guys!I am trying to link a Outlook 365 group calendar thats shared with me to airtable, but airtable only seems to see My Calendars (one's I've created).  Does anyone know of a way to get airtable to see the group calendar? I thought it might have it's own login since it has a email address, but apparently not. Let me know if anyone has run into this or has a solution. Thanks! 

So I was following a video by AI Andy called Scrape 1000 viral content ideas: Mind Blowing Automation...I have never done anything like this and have ran the scrapers, entered the API keys, and followed the directions of ScottWorld for using MAKE with Airtable. Yet, I still get error 403. Do you need a paid account to get this to work from Airtable? Do I even get starting credits when I join? The credits say zero, but I am not sure if I need them or not. I guess there is no free trial offer? Any thoughts would be helpful!Thanks,Ryan

I checked some other forum posts and the Airtable notes on how to get tables to sync manually, however am only able to find the below:beyond the manual trigger button, there is no way to directly trigger a sync action between 2 tableswork around is to update a record in a synced table, to trigger Airtable's automated sync actionanother work around, or combined with the above, is to use 3rd party tools eg. The email works and sends, and the test email is received into the inbox but the attachment isn't there on the outgoing email.The attachment field is filled 'Doc 1st Email' from the relevant column, the attachment is in the column,I'm really at a loss as to what I'm missing here.

Hello! I am currently pulling info from Jira into a table, and then pulling Sprint Start / End dates from Jira into another table. Because Jira doesn't expose that information directly, it is pulled into a GSheet, which I then pull into Airtable.The Sprint Name is pulled from Jira directly into my main table, and there is an exact match for each in the Sprint Info table. I created a Link to Another Record field which sources from the Sprint Info table, and corresponding Start / End date Lookup fields based on that table. I created an Automation that looks for any records in my main table that have a non-empty value and updates the Sprint Info 'Link to' field with the value from the Sprint field (screenshot below).When I generate a preview of the automation results, I can see that the Sprint Info linked field gets a value, but when I go back to my table, nothing is actually be

Our team is moving from Power Automate Flows to Airtable and I would like to see if its possible to replicate the automations. I understand that some features are very similar however Power Automate has a 'Parse JSON' feature that Airtable does not have. Do you know the best way to replicate this into Airtable?

Hi.When a form is submitted I want to send an email with a PDF of the submitted form.. I know how to create automation for an email, but now I ran into a problem of how to get that PDF. I already created how the PDF will look like with extension (Page designer) but I don't know how to automate that when the Form is submitted that the PDF is created (and also sent as attachment). So bottom line: I want that the PDF is created when the Form is submitted (and also if there is possibility, that this PDF is saved in the "attachemnt" field in the same Table).  Thanks.
