I am building a client portal.The journey starts on Fillout where the clients will answer questions based on the service they wantAll the answers will be saved on an within a "Response" table on airtable  I added this Response table to the Softr's client portal template which includes other tables such as Projects, Tasks, Company, Users, etcNow in order to build a new client portal I'd have to manually enter relevant records into such tables, which can be time consumingWhat I'd like to happen is:After grabbing/analysing all the replies within the Response table either have a button or an automation that allows me to pass the relevant data to the different tables egAdd email details to Users tableAdd company names details to Company tableAdd client details to Projects tableIn order to then have pre-populated data for the actual client portal.Hope I am making sense but happy to do a loom video or zoom call if neededThank you all!

I would like to have Airtable email each respondent after a form is submitted showing the form questions and the respondent’s answers. I see how to send a pre-formatted email but not how to include data from the Airtable record and how to create a Google doc which would be fine if I could then get Airtable to email the doc.

I see I can set up an automated email response like “thanks for filling out the form” but ca I set it up to include their responses so they have a copy of what their answers were?

When using a simple Send Email Automation action, it is very easy to insert of "List of Records" and select which fields to show. I have this setup for an automation that is sending a confirmation email when a form is submitted, and I want them to receive a confirmation email with their form submission details integrated into the message. Once those forms are submitted, various other actions are done to a status field to indicate the applications path through our processes. For those applications that are still pending an approval from an outside client, their status is "Still Pending". I would like to create an automation that on a certain date/deadline resends the original message that is sent to the approver. I have built a second automation to trigger on that date, and "Find Records" that are "Still Pending". Once it creates that list, the action should "Repeat for each record" in the list, and send a custom email. I wanted to just duplicate the original message. This wor

In the Send Email action, in the Attachments section (Bottom) I selected the column that contained the file, and that file was attached in the email.3 days ago, my automation worked fine. But today, when the automation triggered, there was a problem (An attachment url is disallowed):I already turned off and on the automation, changed the trigger, changed pdf file for jpg, and always the same error.I tried the automation with records that already triggered a few days ago and worked fine (My trigger is a Single select column, so, to trigger it again, I deleted the value in the single select field, and select it again). Hi,I'm looking at abstractifying our e-mail contents to streamline the process. E-mail content is now stored in the automations itself, but I'd like to move it to a dedicated table. Our automations use a fair bit of dynamic content, such as <first name> in the opening line, derived from various "Find Records" steps.I tried to construct the desired e-mail content with a "List of <first name>" token and just copy/paste it to a Long Text field with formatting turned on. Airtable changed the variable to @Unknown and threw an error "Invalid data - you have to refresh the page", and didn't store anything of the pasted text.Is there way to build the whole e-mail content including variables into a template stored in a table?Rgds,Björn

Hi,In our CRM we started with building stuff for a workflow for one customer area, say "nature". Knowing from the beginning there'd later be a need for other areas too, I put a categorising "tag" in place. So we have the leads and some other key data labelled with tags like "nature", "sports", "food" and "music".There are a lot of email automation built in for this workflow. The other areas will largely have the process steps and hence hopefully very close to the same workflow.Starting looking at adding the other three areas to yet only simple email confirmations and reminders (there are more complex automations also) I got a bit stuck. I guess I could build Conditional Logic steps for each of the cases. However, as I now understand it, this would require to also hard code Find Records steps for each case.As there may need to be some updates and other actions too, I'm afraid I'll run out of steps at some point. It also bothers me to hard code all the cases, since there may be more area

Hey, I want to set up an automation, that will be triggered when the form is submitted and it will send the filled-out information to make.com so I can then use the submitted data in make.com. I couldn't find make.com in the supported apps that are available when setting up automation in Airtable. I also couldn't find the option to create a custom webhook. I saw that some people did it in the community, but I couldn't find how. So, Is there a way to create automation that sends submitted information from airtable to make.com triggered when the form is submitted? 

If a record is updated it would be awesome to sent the data to a webhook url. How would you do that?

Hi Airtable gurus,I am trying to create an automation that will locate a specifc record based on the record ID then update the Status field.It would look like this:Trigger: When a webhook is received (an invoice is paid in Stripe) I actually have the webook createdEvent: 1. Locate record (the appointment record that was created based on a Calendly appointment creation), 2. Update that record to reflect that the invoice for that appointment was PAIDI feel like I am close to getting the automation to work, but I can't figure out how to find that appointment record based on the record ID. Any help would be so appreciated!

I have an automation that is triggered when a user clicks a button in an interface. The automation is current set to simply create a new record in the underlying table, and fill in three fields:user = should be the Name of the user who clicked the button. This is a "User" or "Collaborator" field in the underlying table. Hey guys,I am trying to build an automation that finds a contact's record from an To recipients email address from a Outlook: When a new email is received trigger. This works when there's only 1 recipient, but when there's multiple it isn't able to find the contacts with the associated email address. This thread was helpful to pull the first email address from the string when I send the email address to a field and then parse out: https://community.airtable.com/t5/other-questions/extracting-first-email-in-a-field-with-multiple-emails/td-p/48020But my team wants to have all contacts listed on these interactions. Does anyone know how to get airtable natively (we can't use zaiper) to search for multiple email addresses from one field?Thanks!

Okay, a bit of context for clarity.I have a base that I am using for tracking inventory. We send out the packages of items. Sometimes we have some of the items in stock, and sometimes we need to order more before the package is sent. I am using an interface that lets the end user select the items that they want to add to the package. Then they have the option to click a button to trigger an automation.The automation looks in the table and finds all items with a check box. Then, using a repeating group, it send the relvant infromation for each item to Make via a webhook. Make then checks to see if the qty needed is less than or equal to the qty in inventory. If it is, Make creates a new record in an Inventory Change Log table to remove that qty of items from the Inventory table. The problem I am facing is if two items with the same name are sent at the same time, the webhooks are sent to make faster than make can process through them.For instance:Say I have 1 trashcan left in stock

I have a base with a table: Scores that has 2 fields in it. Field 1: TeamName, Field 2: QuizScoreWhat I would like to accomplish is to generate a leaderboard where the Average QuizScore per TeamName is displayed. There may be several TeamName records with differing QuizScores.  I do not want to show the detail records in the Interface. Just the summary records. I'm not sure the best way to do this. I managed to link to table: AvgScores, where I calculate the average. But, I cannot figure out how to do an animation, where when a new record is added to Scores, how to I update AvgScores. The TeamName is created in another application, so, I can control how it is spelled/formatted. So, I can match a field in AvgScores. But, I can't figure out how to do that either. I'm an old SQL hack...

I turned off an automation as I wasn't ready for it to run. The automation was set to go off at a certain date. When this date was reached the automation ran even though it was turned OFF. Should automations run if they are turned OFF?

I send emails using Airtables automation.   You can see when an email is sent from inside the automation setup.  Is there a way to put a field in a table that lists the last date an email was sent to easily see email history?
