I have a sweet automation set up for a client that lists important dates in a grid format. The date includes "UTC" and I can't figure out how to get rid of UTC. As you can imagine with all employees in the same time zone, the addition of UTC is not only unnecessary, but unattractive. I appreciate any ideas you might have to remove this from the email auto. 

Hi all, I have read a couple of posts on this question and tried the suggestions but I can’t seem to get it to work. I have a view that I am sharing via a view only link with various collaborators. In order to allow them to update certain fields of the records, I have an Edit Record button in the grid that opens a form where they can update the information, then an automation to update the form. One of the fields they can update is an attachment field. I want them to be able to add new documents without deleting the existing ones, as for certain records there are multiple documents that will be added over time. I would rather not create a separate field for each attachment and instead just add the new ones in with the existing ones. Is there a way to do this without using a script or an external program. I'm linking each product in my products table to the definitions table. The record in definitions is the classification/type of product, i.e., a wall mounted faucet. In the Definitions table there are internal instructions that our staff need to check off using rich text format before the product is considered ready. It would be instructions like "Wall mounted faucet is not located on an exterior wall".I'm using a Lookup in my Products table to retrieve these instructions and attach it to products based on the definition. I keep getting these "Something Went Wrong" emails from Airtable when my automation fails, but there's no information in the email.Is there any way to customize these emails to include more information? It's getting pretty convoluted to dig into the automation error, save the Record ID or other info, go back and find it in my base, etc, etc, etc.TIA,ML 

Hello,I would like to create a Zapier automation to notify us when a client changes details of a field in our shared Airtable.As we use forms, it seems to set the "Last Modified Time" aswell as the "Created" time, so I cannot just create a simple view to show me only records that have a "Last Modified Time".Is there a workaround in Zapier? or is there a formula I could use to say "If last modified time is greater than created time etc etc" Thanks

Hi, I've created a simple email automation that sends volunteers a record of their contact info (people table), plus their assignments from previous years (assignments table). I have two dates formatted the same way and displaying in the table consistently. When I add them to my email, I am getting two different formats. The data format in the table is US. One appears correctly (5/3/2024) and the other appears incorrectly (2024-05-17). I also have a date time field that is also US format with time 12 hrs. The data in that field shows up as 5/2/24 5:00pm in the table but appears in the email incorrectly (2024-05-03T00:00:00.000Z).The only additional piece of info is the dates are getting pulled in from another table with the key being the first date (5/3/24). All of them look right in both the original table and the linked table. I tried changing the two that were showing up wrong to Friendly to see if they would change but they didn't. 

Hi,I am pretty new to AirTable, so not sure if this is possible. However, I currently have a table for all users of my website and then a separate table for customer reviews. Each review populates a new row, so the same company may have multiple reviews, each with its own row.I would like to input a formula to work out the average rating across all of the reviews for each company so I can then display this as an overall rating on their profile. Is this possible, if so if someone could help me with the formula that would be amazing.

I couldn’t find any updated information about this topic on the community forum.Currently, I am developing some email automation workflows, and I am aware that occasional failures may happen due to unexpected errors.I would like to create a solution to recover the failed runs, but from what I’ve observed, I can only view the execution history by accessing the web page directly.I searched the documentation for any reference to an API or endpoint that allows retrieving the automation run history so I can filter and manage it according to my needs, but I couldn’t find any relevant information.

Hi! I've been doing some scripting with the script extension, and managed to get it to a great working state when running manually in my base. I now want to put this in an automation sequence to trigger on a daily schedule. However, when running the script through automation, any API call I try to make is met with a 403 response. I've reached out to the company hosting the APIs I'm trying to call (Aha!), and they seem to believe the call doesn't even reach them (they can see my successful attempts from the manually triggered runs, but no blocked attempts), indicating something is being blocked by Airtable before the fetch call goes out.For example, dumbing it down to a very simple call, the following works in the base when running manually (200 status response with expected JSON response), but fails when running automatically (403 status response, even gives me syntax error for 'unexpected end of JSON input'):  let apiToken = 'WORKING_KEY' l

Hey there! I’m having this issue when trying to create a record into another table within an automation. I have creator permission in both tables and a paid plan. I’ve tried everything on this link Error in Automations and i’m now figuring out if that last comment is what is happening to me, though that would mean i cant create records if im leaving lookup or linked record field empty. In that case, Is there any way of doing both of them?

I'm having an issue with my automations where the specified conditions are being completely ignored. I have a filter set to only send emails to records where the "60-day group" field is empty. This applies not only for the initial Trigger Conditions, but also every single step. However, the automation is still sending emails to records where this field is clearly not empty.I've double-checked my conditions multiple times and can't find any reason why this would be happening. It's like the conditions I'm setting are just being disregarded. This is also occurring to other fields such as "Automation Test Subject" being checked and Profile Last Updated being more than 180 days ago.Has anyone else experienced this issue of automations ignoring explicit filters? Is there something I'm missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi all! Over the past few weeks, I have worked to update and improve my database and have several forms that I currently have “disabled” and put a message with the link to the new form. My problem with that is of course that ideally I would like to improve my user experience by automatically redirecting them to the new form when the page loads.There are a lot of people that have access to the old links and/or won’t update their records. is there a way to accomplish this?

Is it possible to make an automation to send out an email every third Monday of the month? I was only able to find ways to send out the email every certain day or time of the month, but not a specific third weekday. Thank you!

Happy Day to all, can't wait to see the group support for something I'm missing.Info: I have created an automation to post to Facebook. I have trigger set to run once a day, with conditions = 1 based on formula in field.I need help on the Actual Message to post.I hit the blue + and added Copy field and it only posted the actual field ID on the text post.Not the "Contents" of Copy field.I also am getting an error on the attachments field when adding the ContentImage field to send over the "picture".I have scoured through the forums and on youtube, but I seem to be missing one important step of HOW TO ADD to the message content in Actions Section.TLDR: Need help with the Message Section of Post to FB action.

Hi,I was wondering if it is possible to create an automation that uses Airtable's own notification system. We use the interfaces for working all the time and it would be nice if we could get a notification if a certain cell reaches the date of today.

I have a single select drop down field, and use an automation to copy that dropdown field into a linked record field anytime it is updated (see below). I have the system to clients can use the dropdown in forms, but I use the linked record in the backend for my own uses.There are actually two of these, one for Federal and one for State electorates. Each have their own single dropdown field, that automates over to their own linked record field. Both linked records link to the same table, but obviously different columns.However, in the table where the linked records resides that are multiple cases of records with the same name. For instance, there is a Federal electorate called Adelaide AND a state electorate called Adelaide. Hi,I am running network managing research participants for my organization. They have two options for signing up, which are in separate tables. One is the 'Full Sign Up', which is in my main participant table, where I am linking other information not related to the form. The other is a 'Sign Up Later' form, used when recruiting partipants who don't have time for the full form (fx in person at a conference). They sign up with their name and email and I have created an automation to send out a link with full form. I'd like to create an automation that sends out a reminder email those who have completed the 'Sign Up Later' form, but not completed the 'Full Sign Up' form, to do so. This means I need an automation that removes those who have completed the 'Full Sign Up' form, from the 'Sign Up Later' table, but I am unsure how to do that, since the tables are not linked.  Any help is appreciated 🙂

Is there a way to have the Google Doc automation create documents from a pre-existing template? I want to set up the new automation to generate letters, however, I need them to have a specific header and footer. If there was a functionality to select a template that would be great. But if anyone knows of a way to generate that on Google’s App Script end that would be super helpful!

I have a form using Fillout that accepts submissions of repair service requests. The results populate a dedicated table and I use an automation to distribute the response data among multiple other tables, such as People and Repairs.When someone submits a request, part of the automation looks to see if the same first name–email address pair exists on a record in the People table. If so, it creates a Repair record and attaches the existing Person record as requestor. Otherwise, it creates a new Person record, then a Repair record, and attaches the new Person record as the requestor.Currently, first part of this is not working at all. It fails tests, logging "Could not find matching rows for string." How can I troubleshoot this?Additionally, when the automation does work, it correctly fills the new Repair record with the existing Person but also removes this Person association from any prior Repairs connected to them. I can't figure out why it does this.How

I have created some automation emails that include a link back to view an interface record, where someone can edit and update it, I have the email set up using the "page record URL" under the "Insert a link" dropdown in the Message box of the automation email.It was all working fine up until the beginning of this year, now when you click the link in the email, it brings me to the interface, but not to the exact record. Furthermore it brings me to the interface and all the information is greyed out, if I physically go into the interface and find the record from there it works fine. But I need it to link directly to the record, which it was doing earlier, and I didn't change anything and it stopped working, for all my bases and interfaces. I've tried on multiple devices and I get the same issue. Wonder if anyone else is having this issue.
