I want my automation to update the record when it is complete and then remove or delete any/all the attachments in a particular field, how can I do this?

I want to automatically copy a specific field from one table into another table. This needs to go to a specific airtable id - is this possible? 

HELP! I have a base with a table where I have collected submissions for an upcoming conference. There are fields for Speaker 1 Name, Speaker 1 Email, Speaker 2 Name, Speaker 2 Email, etc. I am trying to pull all the data from every record to another "Speaker Management" table. So I need all the Speaker Name fields (Speaker 1 Name, Speaker 2 Name, etc) to go to a singular field (Speaker Name) in this "Speaker Management" table along with the corresponding email contact for the record. The records are already there, but may update because I am using FillOut for people to update their submission content. I appreciate any thoughts!

My company is working to centralize our Zaps now that there's a service account feature through Airtable. However, we're running into the question if we should create separate service accounts with specific bases given access to (with the idea of least privilege), or just authorize a general Zapier service account that has access to all current and future bases?The latter seems to be a lot more permissions than necessary, but it is also easier. Would love to hear how others are approaching this.

Hi thereI have an Airtable base with 2 tabs: 1. Resellers: on which I keep the "Company" name and the "Website" of resellers I'm working with. Company and Website are my 2 fields on this tab2. Performance: on which I have some datas imported from a Google Sheet. Here I have 3 tabs : email_domain, total_mrr and total_projectsI would like to add a field "Results" to my Resellers tab on which I automatically render the total_projects from the table Performance for each of my resellers. The issue here is that the performance table is randomly ordered so there is a need to make a match between the Website from Resellers and the email_domain from Performance and to render the good value for each Reseller. I tried to set up an Automation or even find a way to do it through Make but I didn't manage to achieve that so far. I'm wondering if it's possible to make 2 cells from 2 different tables match to each others. 

Hi, community!Please, I need help to understand what happened with an automation that I messed up and was sending e-mails in an infinity looping even after it was deleted from the base.It was initially built with "At schedule time" trigger and had two steps: 1 - Find records matching one condition: Where field A contains Yes2 - Send an e-mail to the e-mail found in the previous stepAfter I tested, I realized that I actually needed to insert the Send an e-mail step inside a Repeating group. The problem is I forgot to update the data that should be used in this step, so it kept sending e-mails to everyone that matches the condition in the first step. I fixed that changing data to Current item data in all fields in the e-mail step but it didn't work and then, I deleted the automation and it still kept sending e-mails.Now, it seems to have stoped, but I'd like to understand what happened here so if something similar happens in the f

Hi all,I'm working on building a base for my team, and am having an issue with automating a copy-and-paste function.I have a formula which calculates the due date for tasks based on a set number of workdays from the start date. However, sometimes we need to edit due dates of individual tasks and don't want to edit the start date or the number of workdays—so, I need to figure out a way to copy the data in the due date formula field to another field where it can be edited. (I know I could just edit the workdays on each task, but for a variety of reasons I think that will be too complicated for my users/set up.) In order to copy-and-paste data to make it possible to edit dates, I have been using this automation:

I wrote a script in my automation to create a linking table of sorts that carries over records from two different tables. I have a field that is a formulated value in both source tables and in the target table I want that to be single-select. Is this possible? I cannot get the values to match up! Using airtable for project management, so far the set up etc is fine. One thing I am trying to set up is a script (can be put into a field as a button) that deletes the record that the button is in but also deletes all linked records in the sub task section. Therefore you are removing an entire project and sub task. At the moment the following naming conventions existProject (table) which links to Sub Task (table). When a sub task is added it links to the Project. Therefore the script must delete the Project and all linked records in a Sub Task section. Can anybody help with the script for this?

I have a table with several "linked to another record" fields and a multi-select list with one option for each linked field. I would like the list to be updated automatically based on the following logic:If the linked field is empty, the option related to that field shall not be selected in the multi-select.If the linked field is not empty, the option related to that field shall be selected in the multi-select.It looks quite easy to do with a script, but laborious with an automation because of the way automations update lists. Hello, It is my company's first attempt at using Twilio. We already have our account and phone number. Was wondering how do I set it up so we can test if the message was successfully sent to this number.  Such as updating a Single Select field in AirTable corresponding to the record that would say "SUCCESS" or "FAIL". Is that possible?  What would I need to do to set it up?  I know there is a statuscallback URL within the AirTable Twilio automation action, do I do it through that?   How about collecting received responses?

In subsequent steps, I'm unable to reference the field values: it's gray, and hovering displays the error "Cannot assign list of collection of complex types to collection of complex types."How can I reference these values, or at least reference the raw JSON in a scripting step?

I am building out an intake form for system issues. When a form comes in I want the ticket to be assigned based on who moves the ticket into in progress. I see that I can put conditions to assign to a certain person but not build it out based on how put it in progress. Any help would be great.

I have a "main" table, call it A.  It holds client names.  I have a second table, call it "B."  It will hold deadlines.  For every A record, i.e. client, Table B should have one corresponding record where a lookup field (call it "Name") populates with the "Name" field in Table A.  Then Table B holds deadlines specific to each "carried over" or "mirrored" record from Table A. It should be that when a record is created in A, a corresponding record (assuming auto-number-generated?) would be created in B, with the name lookup from A.  Then deadlines get logged in Table B, and an interface created to allow viewing of deadlines and other things from various other tables for the various clients in Table A.  Hi, I need help with an automation that I can't get to work. I have set up 2 separate automations, both triggers "when record matches condition" (different conditions) one adds one linked record, to field "work" and the other automation adds another linked record to the same field. However, they seem to overwrite the existing linked record. How do I avoid this? I tried setting it up so that I pull in the actual linked record field and then separated by a comma the record id, but that made the automation pull in 2 different linked records, when I only wanted the one 🤔 🤔Any tips? I've set automation to create record which get value from a field when a value is entered to that field (use trigger type "when record matches condition"). But the automation is real-time triggered when the typing has not finished yet, so the getted value is incomplete. For example, enter "300" but only get "3". How do I fix it please? I am attempting to use Airtable as a month end close tracking form. Is it possible, that once a task is completed, it will create a new task for the same day in the next month? As an example, this task would be completed on December 15th, then once completed it recreates the task with a deadline of January 15th.
