Greetings. My automation receives a webhook from a form. In subsequent steps, I'm unable to reference the field values: it's gray, and hovering displays the error "Cannot assign list of collection of complex types to collection of complex types."How can I reference these values, or at least reference the raw JSON in a scripting step?

I am building out an intake form for system issues. When a form comes in I want the ticket to be assigned based on who moves the ticket into in progress. I see that I can put conditions to assign to a certain person but not build it out based on how put it in progress. Any help would be great.

I have a "main" table, call it A.  It holds client names.  I have a second table, call it "B."  It will hold deadlines.  For every A record, i.e. client, Table B should have one corresponding record where a lookup field (call it "Name") populates with the "Name" field in Table A.  Then Table B holds deadlines specific to each "carried over" or "mirrored" record from Table A. It should be that when a record is created in A, a corresponding record (assuming auto-number-generated?) would be created in B, with the name lookup from A.  Then deadlines get logged in Table B, and an interface created to allow viewing of deadlines and other things from various other tables for the various clients in Table A. But Table A is the master table.The aim is to have sensible table size (one giant table with every imaginable deadline would be unwieldy) but not have to manually create Table B Deadline records for every Name/Client in Table A.Many

 Hi, I need help with an automation that I can't get to work. I have set up 2 separate automations, both triggers "when record matches condition" (different conditions) one adds one linked record, to field "work" and the other automation adds another linked record to the same field. However, they seem to overwrite the existing linked record. How do I avoid this? I tried setting it up so that I pull in the actual linked record field and then separated by a comma the record id, but that made the automation pull in 2 different linked records, when I only wanted the one 🤔 🤔Any tips? I've set automation to create record which get value from a field when a value is entered to that field (use trigger type "when record matches condition"). But the automation is real-time triggered when the typing has not finished yet, so the getted value is incomplete. For example, enter "300" but only get "3". How do I fix it please? I am attempting to use Airtable as a month end close tracking form. Is it possible, that once a task is completed, it will create a new task for the same day in the next month? As an example, this task would be completed on December 15th, then once completed it recreates the task with a deadline of January 15th.

Hi! Is it possible to create an automation that will email someone the results from one column (not the full record) of a grid?We are doing an exercise where staff fill out an airtable form saying what they value about other people on the team (long text responses).  So each record has the feedback about every staff member from each person that fills out the form.  Is it possible to have an automated email go out to individual staff members with just the responses from their column?Hopefully this makes sense - thank you!

But I am not sure what I am going to do.Description of the problem:I created a delivery driver pickup form (in Table 1) for volunteers to submit their pickup schedules for one or more schools. Right now, I will need 3 information (name of the pickup person, pickup date, and pickup time) submitted in this form to be automatically updated in an existing classroom table (table 2).I have tried different ways. However, it seems like I am having difficulty for the information in table 1 to be correctly matched with the information in Table 2. I think the problem is I don't know which Record ID I should pick and the system keeps saying there is an error when I was setting my automation.My goal is that I am hoping if a volunteer submits that they will pick up materials for school A, the 3 required information I need will automatically update in the same school in table 2.Thanks so much, any feedback is great

Hi everyone,It appears that I cannot use the "Find records" action with a condition on a date field "is within" "this calendar month".It is fine if I choose any other "is within", such as "the past month". But it won't work if i choose "this calendar week", "this calendar month" or "this calendar year".The error is not clear, it simply states "A condition is incomplete or invalid".What am I missing? 🤪See attached screenshots:

I'm trying to adjust the column width in an digest email but the truncate fields doesn't change the layout and I'd like the columns to be spread out more. Is there any way to set this? Even adjusting the view I'm pulling from doesn't change anything.  

My data schema is such that I have Programs which contain projects, each has its own table. Dear AllI am trying to automate "master project status" in the base, hopefully through creating a formula. "Master project" is a made of all small "projects". When I click 'activate options' no options are showing. I've double checked that activate options isn't already ticked on any other orders. Hello,I'm working on an automation that, when triggered by a new record being created, runs a script. The script should take that record, parse a comma-delimited list, then create new records in a separate table. The new records are include the unique names, the count of each unique name, and a link back to the original record. Is it possible to embed a calendar view in an automated email?

Hello all!I don't believe this is possible with how automations work with Airtable as I know them, as they seem to be restricted to only automating one table and that one table's records. Regardless, I'm hopeful there's an extension or something that can get around this, as this seems like something that would be extremely useful to most people.
