I work for a non-profit and have begun using Air Table … could really use another support source other than AirTable. I can’t seem to get much attention there. Looking for someone who is willing to help fellow user out … we do not have a budget for consultant fees at this time. Perhaps in the future. I have old school database creation experience - been a challenge with how Airtable works. What I have created is not really all that complex but I know there are some quirks that need to be tweaked to get the consistent functionality. Thanks Darlene
As I’m browsing through all of these “Hire a consultant” topics, I couldn’t help but think that maybe I can help in some small way to those who really need it (and need it now!). So, for this week, I am going to respond to any no-code related questions you have if you simply send them here and it will be 100% free. No limit on the amount of questions. You will get a response from me as soon as I see it but that may be a bit late somedays (keep that in mind!). In the meantime you can see our old site here, our semi-new site here, our newsletter here, the blog here, and just as a reminder, you can submit any question here and I will help you solve the problem! Hope this brings value to some of you!! Best, Jonathan
Airtable Turn ugly formulas into pretty ones - Airtable Universe If you write formulas for Airtable Bases you might want to check out this tool, packaged as an Airtable Base. ‘Orc’, a formula ‘Pretty Printer’ will format... This is the second release of Orc – V0.2 – prettier and greener. If you write formulas for Airtable Bases you might want to check out this tool, packaged as an Airtable Base. ‘Orc’ , a formula ‘Pretty Printer’ will format a complex Airtable formula into a standard set of uniformly spaced code. Hello, my clients use airtable forms on mobile all the time . but if they wait too much before validation, the form reloads and data are lost. i found ways to block reload but this is too complicated for my clients. any solutions ? waiting for an airtable offline solution… ?
I’m stuck on how to set up a few fields/tables and am pretty sure I only need a 15-30 consultation I know there’s a way to do what I want to do, but I can’t figure it out. Should I look for someone here to help me or ask in the airtable community? Thanks
Are you tired of juggling multiple Calendar views to look at your records across multiple tables? Check out this Custom Block which can display records from multiple tables in one calendar interface! Video Demo: Interested in gaining access? Use this form: https://airtable.com/shr8KDRmzY3LcLEw1
Looking for help with creating customizable multipage PDF reports from our Airtable data! Currently we’re using Google Docs to create a report, each with it’s own master header, with a varying amount (2-50) of cues (records), each cue needing it’s own group header and each having it’s own set of specific data (10-20 columns). Usually they run anywhere from 2-10 pages long. Our recipients need it in this format. We’d love to have it be aesthetically easy to read, with customizable color coding. Printing as PDF directly from Airtable isn’t working due to formatting, grid spacing, longer descriptions getting cut off, and inadequate headers. Page Designer isn’t working due to only having 1 record per page (even 2 doesn’t work if I “halve” the printing dimensions) - for context, sometimes 1 project (report) has 8-20 episodes, and each episode has 1-30 cues, and each cue can have 2-8 songs… that is a ton of range, so a set dimension for each record just causes excessive blank space, like in
Hello all, I recently came into control of a very large Airtable database. upwards of 30,000+ records, several hundred views, and 30 tables. I need either resources I can go to to see/learn about best practices for cleaning, automating, and building out workflows or a person who I can go to for workflows. Person would need to have proven work in a similar type of project, with large amount of data, intricate workflows, and have experience with this. Thanks!
Hey everyone! My team at Unito just wrote a piece on how we use Airtable to create a competitor ecosystem, and I thought it might be useful to people here! Essentially we create a base with fields titled ‘name’,‘type’,‘description’,‘pricing model’, and so on. Additionally, there are some tips to building your own competitive landscape on Airtable. This really helps us keep an eye on the competition. Do you use Airtable for the same thing? Are there any other fields you use that helps you accomplish this? Let me know if you found this useful, our team uses Airtable for many things, and we’d love to share the other ways we use it!
Hey there, If you’re looking for a way to set up an educational platform on Airtable to share your knowledge and skills, here’s a brief guide explaining how that can be done using the Softr no-code platform. Cheers, Narek
All, I’m a General Partner in an Investment Syndicate that focuses on bringing diversity to the world of venture-backed companies. We’re very much in need of someone who’s deeply proficient in Airtable, Zapier, Stacker and the general world of Low Code/No Code. The job description is here. If interested let me know at Peter at gaingels dot com.
I tend to work in the Kuiper belt of complex and challenging integration projects at scale but I’m not isolated from occasional simple problems where I can learn something while helping others. I also advise many investment groups and companies concerning the bets they place in no/low-code systems and vendors. With vast experience in fishing woefully architected systems from a cesspool of low/no-code Airtable Goldbergian buffoonery, I feel compelled to offer this advice if you are seeking the right person to lead the development of your future Airtable tech stack. An appeal to candidates who are low/no-code “experts” is risky because it will entice and attract people who have many skills that have done some amazing things with Integromat, Zapier, and other platforms. But there’s another side of no/low-code power-users that may result in the creation (or expansion) of costly, unreliable, and largely unsustainable processes. Some of these candidates seeking work will be ideal; most will

Multi-phase project that may consume the better part of a year. Looking for a company that can bridge ‘Gaps’ and think outside the box. Salesforce development experience would be a plus. Executed NDA, Contract, and Proof of Insurance will be required. There has to be someone out there who is looking for a project to sink their teeth into.
Using your Airtable bases, now you can easily create client portals, paid member-only community, sell digital services, content, courses, using Softr.io as the frontend! :rocket: Softr now supports: :money_with_wings: :bust_in_silhouette: :lock: Login / Signup functionality - Authenticate users using your Airtable bases :credit_card: Paid Content (Stripe Checkout) - Request users to pay recurring fee or one-time payment to get access to content from Airtable :eye: Conditional Visibility based on Payment, User Email & Domain - Restrict access to entire page or sections of a page, depending on user logged in status or payment conditions :robot: Dynamically connect Softr frontend to Airtable - now 10x easier :busts_in_silhouette: Manage registered users in your Softr application - no need to store passwords in Airtable :mag: Search, Sorting, Pagination on your Airtable data - all out of the box :arrows_counterclockwise: On the fly support of any Airtable changes (n
Hi Everyone! I work for a non-profit organization that lets volunteers read stories from kid authors and submit personalized notes of encouragement to them. We use Airtable for both the user interface (the stories are embedded in a gallery view and volunteers submit their notes through a form) and the back end. Right now, the work of assigning stories to individual volunteers for each event is done by hand, but we know it’s possible to create a Javascript block that can make this a breeze! We’re looking for someone that can build a script to: Let the user select an event they’d like to assign stories to Find the attendee list for that event Automatically assign x amount of stories to each volunteer, allowing for user input on certain parameters (i.e. how many stories should each volunteer get, would you like to pack stories from authors in a certain grade/school, etc) Please let me know if you’re able to help!
Hey there! I work for Unito, a company that creates integrations between tools, like Airtable. We recently wrote an article about how we use our own product to bridge Airtable and Asana! When we decide what our next integration will be, we keep track of information, like API availability and user demand, in an Airtable base. Then, to send this information to other teams, we track it in Asana. You can read about our use case, and learn how we’ve been loving Airtable, here! I’d love to hear everyone’s thoughts, and how your team is using Airtable. :slightly_smiling_face:
I’ve been collecting interesting AirTable plugins, integrations and helpul how-to articles. Enjoy! Airtable AirTable Research - Airtable Explore the "AirTable Research" view on Airtable. I am looking to learn Airtable so I can utilize it for my business, I have some specific wants and needs and am hoping to work with someone who knows what they are doing, someone who would be willing to show and not just do. Anyone?
Hi, We’re looking to write our own program that integrates with both AirTable API and Drip’s API as well as Twilio API. We want to accomplish two things: We are looking for ways of managing our SMS triggers queue on Twilio as well as updating a log file for each action. We want to have this process done without Zaps, thus bypassing the need for tasks on Zapier. We want to be able to update a table with our leads list and all their profile information coming from DRIP automatically every time a new lead comes in. We are also looking to have our KPI dashboards in AirTable to be automatically updating. We want to be able to paste data in AirTable with automations that will be able to sort this data on a dashboard that will be convenient to read (simplified data sheet). Please advise. Thank you.
Hey there, I’m trying to integrate Airtable with my ChatBot Product. In that, we are trying to render data using Airtable tables. but here we need to provide an interface to the end-users to select the base and tables they are targetting the get the data. Based on the documentation, I found that to get the list of bases and tables we need to get the Airtable Metadata API. I have also requrested for the same but didn’t get any feedback. Do I need to provide any more details? Please suggest and help me in that case.
Hello, I am new to the community. I am trying to setup a database for our acquisition company. I have leads that own multiple products and need to be able to sum up all the products in one place. This works perfectly with grouping. However, my issue is assigning a caller to these leads. I want to link all the lead records with the same names to each other and my caller have a summary of all the products, values and one lead contact field. With grouping I can assign a collaborator but they have to be assigned to each one and it breaks the summary. Can anyone tell me how to complete this correctly? I was hoping another table named leads where it listed the owners once and rolled up the values of all the associated records to that owner.
