Please reference www.highmesallc.com to understand our company. We buy wind cash flows from landowners who have wind turbines on their land. We have been using Airtable but it is beginning to stretch the non-experts, and we are going to need some streamlining and extension of its capabilities. First task is to give criticism/fixes to the existing base/structure, then extension for supporting higher volume of customer contacts. To get a sense of scale: we are currently dealing with 15000 turbines, and 3500 owners. Current important tables are customers/turbines/projects (which are aggregations of turbines)/mailout tracker/deal discussion tracker/family groups. I am sure this can be improved. We need a way of capturing contacts with owners and constant improvement of the dataset (for example - salesperson gets an inbound call from a mailer/email, we need a simple form to correct the phone number for that customer, without the salesperson accessing the whole of the base). I am
I’ve recently started using Airtable to cut down on the number of spreadsheets that don’t talk to each other, and loving the improvements we have made so far. One of the struggles was not being able to use a lot of features due to dates and times being in seperate columns in all our other documents, and wasn’t able to find other community posts solving this in a simple way. After a few weeks of messing about, I finally found the DATEADD formula is the simplest: DATEADD({Date},{Start Time},‘seconds’) I use a similar formula to calculate the end times. I can now use all the lovely DATETIME formulas I’ve been excited to try out without having to do manual input, which was the goal all along. Has anyone else had to discover this themselves? Any other workarounds people have created?
EDIT: Updated to incorporate solution for batching more than 50 records Why this script I import transaction records into Airtable from my bank on a regular basis via CSV files. Those transaction records have names that are pretty ugly most of the time (like [Amazon.com*6X6AN17G3]) and often there will be multiple transaction names that actually link back to the same company as a payee. I want to know, for example, how much I paid out to “Fry’s Grocery Store” in total, no matter which Fry’s location I went to. And, I want to view that data in a Chart block, with pretty colors from Single Select options, for example. So I used to manually match transactions with a colored Single Select value: Needless to say, it was a tedious manual process, and I very frequently encountered the same Import name over and over – so I knew this was something the Scripting block could help me with, at least to some extent. What the script does This script checks all imported transactions that do not ha
SwopItUp is a non profit organisation that works with teens on environmental action in the UK. We’re looking for some pro-bono support with Page Designer. Part of our programme includes our Creator Briefs, and we have been using Airtable for the data. We have been playing around with Page Designer, and think this is an ideal way to present the info back to teens as PDFs. However, our designs are pretty basic, and might not inspire Young People behind the ideas in the way we were hoping. Would you beinterested in helping us to max the way we can present these, in an image rich way, using Airtable, with a view to this becoming a case study you can highlight in your portfolio?
Heya community! Dan (@openside) and the team have been hard at work making our own slew of tools to compliment Airtable. Today I’m excited to announce they are now live! Here’s what we’ve been making: Actions - Advanced connector to integrate Airtable with your other software tools Forms - Sophisticated Airtable forms with extended features Schema - Monitor and be notified when anything in your Airtable schema changes Backups - Automated backups for your Airtable bases Scripts - Specialized script manager to integrate with Airtable’s scripting block Storage - Secure storage and proxy for your Airtable script data Our new site just launched where you can go check them all out here. We’d love for you to give them a try with a free trial (link on the site). If it’s a fit, go ahead and use coupon “ON2AIR10” for a discount on any app bundle as a thank you for giving it a try! Has anyone built a Plug-in for Outlook to pull Base, Table, and Fields information into email while responding or parsing through the email and fill the Airtable fields?
I’m looking for a potential consultant that could help build out an inventory table that connects to a 3rd party platform via API. It seems our need is relatively specific, which means most Warehouse Management Systems would be full of bloat. We have the general format of the table already created. If you bring new ideas to the mix, that’s great, but what we have is relatively solid - maybe we’d do some reformating. Here’s a high-level look of what is needed (I think): List item Sync Airtable data to 3rd party platform via API. List item When inventory is available in the Airtable spreadsheet, the 3rd party platform allows for production to take placed based on that available inventory. List item If the inventory is not available in Airtable, the 3rd party system will not make orders available for production. There maybe be another item or two that pops up along the way from a functionality standpoint, but that’s the simplistic look of what we need. Think you’re a good fit? Dro
I run a small cat sanctuary and we are growing fast. I have been using an iPad app to keep track of my population but I’m needing something a little more involved, but the shelter softwares out there are WAY too much for what I need. I feel like this would be a pretty easy setup for someone who already knows this system. In time, I could learn it and do it myself - I just don’t have the time. I’m running this place by myself and now I need to hire help. If you think you can help, please contact me at blissfulcats09@gmail.com. Btw, I know they have a pet template but it’s far too simple for my needs now.
I’m not sure what details to include, I want to incorporate Airtable into virtually every aspect of my landscaping companies’ business operations, and while I know what outcomes I want, I can’t take the time to learn a whole software platform - I need to delegate this. I’m looking to set up: Inventory System CRM Invoicing Employee CRM Business Accounting System I don’t even know what I could expect to pay for all this, so I’m looking for an idea of what this will run me. Thanks!
Looking for an Airtable Consultant to help with streamlining an existing base. We have a pretty good handle on our workflow, but might need a real guru to help finesse some details. Thanks.
Hello! I have a database that needs some help in organizing and installing blocks for analyzing the data. I believe a quick conversation/screen share will help show the right consultant what I am looking for.
Hey all, I’m looking to speak to a developer to help me level up a couple of fairly large bases we’ve created to help us with project management and budgeting. Specifically, I’m looking for some scripting to help populate large data source tables with the goal of creating future-proof templates, and rolling up final costs based on certain parameters, among other things!
I need to hire a developer to create a dashboard for me.
We are bidding for a Learning Project and will use airtable as a learning asset source. This week we need to come up with some initial designs of the data entry forms and front page design to show the client. We are looking for a consultant to help us create these first two or three items for our proposal, and need to work on this ideally Wednesday tomorrow. Anyone interested? thank you! After consulting for the last 2 years, I started this Youtube channel to make Airtable more accessible because I know how difficult it can be to get started. Currently, I’m working on a CRM tutorial series where you can build a simple and fully customized CRM. So many of my past clients disliked their CRM and some still use pen and paper! Even if you are not looking for a CRM right now, I still walk through a ton of concepts in the tutorials that can be helpful across many types of Airtable projects. Here’s the link to the channel: youtube.com/airopsconsulting Here’s the first CRM tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1qJZvdOY01g&t Thanks for stopping by!
Sometimes you import some data that looks like this: But you want table data that looks like this: This script does that: let settings = input.config({ title:'Table Optimizer', description: "Converts data that's stored over many fields, into data that's stored in one field with multiple parameters in a new table", items: [ input.config.table('sourceTable',{ label: 'Source Table', description: 'The originating table' }), input.config.text('fieldsConvert',{ label: 'Fields to Convert', description: "Type out the fields you'd like to convert separated by a comma. Example: Field 1,Field 2,Field 3. All convert fields must be of the same type." }), input.config.table('destinationTable',{ label: 'Destination Table', description: 'The desitination table' }), input.config.field('field1',{ label: 'Data Field', parentTable: 'de
We’re thinking of using Airtable as a staging warehouse for product data prior to it being uploaded to Shopify. We have a significant volume of products to upload, and need to quickly scale up while producing accurate product information. We’re considering using teams from different companies for data entry into Airtable, and then verfying data by a matching process. We’re looking to find a company that can write the program to do this.
Looking for support in developing an inventory management tool across multiple warehouses.
Hey guys, I am looking for consultation to see if Airtable is a match for my company (digital agency) and if so somebody who can help setting it up to the individual needs. I´d be happy to discuss in more detail :slight_smile :slightly_smiling_face: Best, Nicolas
Looking for help with an existing Base. I started it without any knowledge of Airtable and could use help cleaning it up and formatting it so we can run reports. Also need some training on maintaining it going forward. I’m in the US on EST. Thanks. Brendan
Hey Airtable Community! I run a very small business and have been using Airtable to manage my order fulfillment processes. I love Airtable, but realize there are lots of beneficial Airtable perks and integrations I am not aware of and would like to speak with a consultant of sorts to help us optimize! Please reach out and let’s start a conversation about working together.
I’ve solved for how to use a list of ID numbers to highlight the rows with those ID’s. Search only lets you identify one row, and filters have to be chained together one after the other. When you have a table with 1,000 items, and an external source gives you a list of 50 ID’s that all need the same update how do you select them? My solution requires adding a formula field. By pasting all of your ID values as a string literal to search for that rows ID in you can create a flag that then lets you filter a view. Here is an example of the formula: SEARCH( Identifier, “12345 qwerty 292303 zx11k9i2”) In this case Identifier is the name of your ID field in the table. Each row of your string (you should be able to paste a column from excel) is one of the ID’s you wish to modify. The result of this will be a column with blank rows and arbitrary numbers. The number is the location in your pasted string where the ID was found but that isn’t important. Next you will probably want to create a view
Hey everyone! I wanted to share a guide I wrote today on how to create a Slack reminder todo app. It takes advantage of Airtable’s neat Trello-style Kanban view for management, and as a bonus, you’ll catch a glimpse of the start (and probably end) of my poetry career. You can see all the code as well as fork and deploy your own working version onto Autocode from the link. Would love to hear what you all think! Hi, Are you up for a great project with Airtable? My budget is 1,000 USD for this project. This is a Lead Distribution project. Which means that the Airtable will store new leads that are coming in from Typeform. The lead details will then be sent to Clients through SMS and the Clients will be given the option to purchase the Leads contact information. If the Client agrees to purchase the Lead the full Lead details will be shared with the Client. This project involves: AirTable Zapier Probably or React/Vue.JS Twilio/Sendgrid/Google Distance Matrix API integrations And any other integration I may have missed Please find the links to the Airtable template that I am working on and also the workflow (as references). I am happy to go on a skype call so we can go through the scope and we can clear any questions.
