Dear community, Does anyone know how I can mute this notification? I am building a check in and check out tool in interfaces, when someone has checked out, I want to have his or her name removed from the list with people who are in the building. It works perfectly, only that ugly orange message, which tells me that the changes will hide this record keeps showing up. Hiding the record is exactly what I want it to do. It would be great to have this sorted out. Thanks for helping!!
Does anyone have an idea how to create a histogram like this or a similar one, preferably one that can be scrolled?
Hello,I built a robust CRM Base with interfaces for all the field reps in my company - everyone is using the Airtable app on their Iphones.Everything works great other than the fact that pretty much 99% of the time you cannot simply open the app and access the interface and begin editing accounts, referrals, visit logs etc. When someone opens the app, the record is un-editable, and you need to force close / re open the app to be able to start editing whatever it was you wanted to do.There isn't even a "swipe up refresh" function that many apps have - that I thought might be help.Any advice on how to mitigate this? It is super annoying for everyone.
Hi,I have a project management interface where I have a table listing all of my projects and then another table for tasks. On the task table, there is a link to the project table. I have created an interface using kanban that shows the tasks by priority (high, medium, low). In the interface, I allow the linking of the task to the project table. When I click the plus signal, it only shows me the first three fields from the project table. Is there a way to modify what fields show on the "linking" screen that pops up?Thanks,Kevin
In our base, there are about 10 people from 4 different departments. They are all editors, and we're on the business tier. We've started to build quite a lot of interfaces, and it's starting to get a little crowded. I wonder if it's possible to only have certain people able to see and access certain interfaces? The documentation alludes to the possibility of sharing the interface. However, I can't get it to work, as anyone seems to be able to see and access all the build and published interfaces with or without sharing. Is it possible to restrict access to certain interfaces if they are base collaborators? if so how do I do it?
Is this a bug, or am I missing something? My left side axis (first y-axis) uses a formula percent field. But I want the second y-axis (Y-axis (right)) to just be standard numbers in order to show the COUNT. The percents showing up don't make sense there. Is there a way for me to fix something I'm doing?
Another problem with the Android interface! When someone sends a comment on an interface and adds an "@" to notify a user, the user receives an email with a hyperlink labeled "view comment."When you click on the link on a computer or an iPhone, it opens the app and navigates to the correct record within the interface. However, when I try clicking on this link on an Android device, it redirects me to the base instead. My client only has access to the interface, not the base.Has anyone else experienced this issue?
We currently use the Kanban interface to track our sales bidding pipeline. When a deal is ready to advance between some stages of the sales pipeline, I'd like to require the salesperson to enter data in key fields before they can move the deal. As an example: To move the deal from "Open Bid" to "Won" they need to enter a start date and a contract value for the project. Is there a way to prevent the user from moving the deal to "Won" if they have not entered data in the "Project Start Date" or "Project Value" fields? I'm happy to use a third-party tool if needed, but so far, my impression is that the only available tools are extensions for data validation when using forms. None of these seemed to work in the Kanban Interface.ChatGPT suggested writing a script that at least notifies the user that they haven't entered the data, but it wouldn't prevent the user from moving the deal. The other option was to write a script to revert the deal to the previous stage if the data is missing,
I have a list interface where the button to search disappeared after making unrelated changes to the interface. The search option still appears on all my other list interfaces and I can't find anything in the designer to either add or remove the ability to search the list. Any suggestions?
Why doesn't Airtable allow adding multiple pages to an interface for displaying different views?
I really like the new Overview Interface including the new Links section that allows you to connect to external URLs. I'd really like to use the links feature on other Interface types. For certain applications, they are better than using a button. I don't think we can do this today. Just thought I'd post this to make sure that I'm correct. You never know, maybe I'm missing something. If I'm not missing something, Airtable folks, please provide this functionality!!
We have had a number of our users raise an issue where the "Current user" value is not always being currently set as the default value when a accessing our interfaces ... it appears to be populate with the "last" user who accessed the interface!Has anyone else experienced this issue?
I'm building a planning tool, and have got a bit stuck with this.I'd like to be able to display a timeline view, which is organised by groups.I would also like to display plans that do not have a group yet assigned to them beside this. Ideally I'd be able to drag the plan into the timeline view to add it to the correct group. This doesn't seem possible, but I'm posting here in case someone is aware of a way to do what I'm after! Google and airtables AI chat bot hasn't helped too much.
I have a single base with a single table, that we use to track a large number of to-dos that we then assign to a handful of different users. There is a "boss" who has access to an interface that has a view that can see all of their tasks that he has assigned out (Master Interface). He will go through and leave comments from the Master Interface interface within the record, and tag the individuals so they are notified via email. We have separate interfaces so that individuals can only see the tasks assign to them, but when they are trying to open the link notifying them of their comment, it is trying to bring them to an interface they don't have access to (the Master Sheet). Can someone please help me figure out a way to use this functionality the best that will keep the following true:- Each individual can only see the items assigned to them- They will be notified of comments they are tagged in via email- Clicking the link the in the email will bring them to the correct record in an inte
How can I fix this? It is a mobile made interface. On desktop I can see DATE as part of the dropdown options, on mobile I can't. On mobile even if I click the three lines icon to display more DATE is still isn't there. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
Hey guys,I would like to display a URL preview of a Figma board on my interface.I have stored this Figma board in a URL field in the data area. I can display this URL as a PREVIEW in the data/base area via extensions. Now I would like to do this myself on the interface so that the employees can see it there directly. Is there a way to do this?
We are using a Page designer extension in our base and now we are moving towards interface. In the page designer document we have designed in a way that all the columns in a record are set in a proper manner so at the end we can save a pdf.Now moving to Interface, is there any option where we can provide direct download/print option instead of going to the base and downloading from extension?
Hi,I want to make it so it's possible to download a grid view off my Interface. Is this possible?
I am considering switching from Click-up to Airtable. But I have found a limitation in the calendar display that is stopping me.Click-up allows me to display multiple fields in a calendar view and each is on its own line.Airtable also allows me to display multiple fields in a calendar view, but they are all on the same line and are not visible. Is there any way to make the Airtable Calendar view more like the Click-up view? (See attached)
Hi,I have a Table called Budget. Budget table has multiple fields like Product, Cost, Monthly cost(Jan-Dec), budget year dropdown field, Property list, etc,.This is the form for creating a new budget in the budget Table.I want to list the property name with existing budget data in the Budget Table. If I chose X property Name, That Property Name already has a budget in that table, So I want to list down the budget cycle values only(years 2024, 2025, 2026, etc.,) depending on Property Name. For example, Property A has budget details with the budget cycle 2024 and 2025. So When I choose Property A in Property Name, Budget Cycle should list only 2024 and 2025. So that I can choose any one of these. Is that possible?
Hi — I have a lot of experience creating interfaces for my team. I have several that work great, and all commenting is run via the Interface with no need for team members to comment in the underlying base.Last Friday, I created a new base and interface for my team, but it seems no matter what, comment notifications are opening w/in the base rather than the interface, even when the initial comment was made w/in the interface. Can someone help!?
I have a list to show the previous month orders and would like to total the number and currency fields. I do not see any way to show totals in a list on an Interface dashboard. Is this possible?
My team operates within Interface. I have recently made a new interface for 1 on 1 meetings for each individual however I would like each individual to have only access to their page only and not be able to view the other pages. Can this be done or will I need to create a new base for this?
Have I forgotten how to limit user's ability to create new single select options on List View Interfaces? The toggle below is only available on sidesheets. Has it never been available on List Views, or am I just having an old person moment and can't find where this toggle is?
I work for an educational non-profit and we use airtable to track our school visits and activities. We currently rely on grouping records together to show class-specific data as well as school-specific information. I was hoping that interface designer would be an easier way for our team to visually group this information together but didn’t see a way to group records. I could only filter and sort records that would show up. Is there a way to get all of this information into one Interface? I have a sample table below with the information we want to display. The first record has our school specific information and all subsequent rows are class specific. Ideally I want a way to display the school record and then have a simplified table for classes to update numbers throughout the day. Is that possible?
