Hi Everyone,I have base called PROJECTS with two tables:   1.  "Sync" that syncs all the values from another base called CLIENT MASTER.   2. "Projects" which is a list of projects.  Each record in "Project" can only have one client.When a new record is created in the "Project" table,  the user selects a linked client record from "Sync"  then there are lookup fields that auto-populate with fields like Account Executive, Partner, and other client information.So far that works just fine.I have created an interface with a list of records from the "Project" table.   I want to set a filter on the interface so that the only records displayed for the user are the ones where "Account Executive"= Current User.However, when I create the filter,  "Current User" is not an option.    Strangely, when I create another test field in the Projects table called "Test User" (User field type)

Hi there,I have a button that translates my article information using deepl. So the button is connected to an automation. I would like to re-use that button in another interface, but when I duplicate the page, I need to create a new automation. Can we not connect two buttons to the same automation? Cheers,Konrad

I think there's a bug in the Interface Calendar page.There are 2 different settings: Label, Fields - which I think were mixed lately.The record label shows the fields names that are selected in the Fields setting instead of the Label setting.In the attached screenshot you can see that I only have 1 field selected as a Label, but the actual record label is the set of fields from the Fields setting (8 fields). Can anyone confirm?  

I have a public (password protected) interface gallery view. It contains embedded cards.  With this password, I want people to be able to open the cards within each gallery item. Currently, without an account, you can see the interface gallery and navigate within it but you can't open any of the cards. Is there a way to publicly drill into an interface in the public view? I’ve built a client meeting interface for my team with the following elements: Client record dropdown element Meeting record dropdown element Client Goal filter element (to filter for only the goals linked to the meeting) Client Action Item filter element (to filter for only the action items linked to the meeting) My objective is to generate an automated URL to view the interface with all 4 elements prefilled. I’ve been able to prefil the client record and meeting record, since these only use record IDs. However I can’t seem to identify what data type the filters utilise in their url code. Here are some examples of one of the filter’s URL code: 0Klo0=b%3AeyJBYk5NTyI6W1swLFsicmVjWEtBdGMzQmJaY0JlaUYiXV1dfQ 0Klo0=b%3AeyJBYk5NTyI6W1swLFsicmVjR1pWRzc1OU50Q2JORDkiXV1dfQ The bold part appears to be the value of the filtered meeting, but is clearly not a record ID.

 I want to calculate the average income per hour correctly by dividing sum of total price by sum of total hours. In the left number the average is calculated incorrectly by dividing the sum of income per hour with the number of projects. Is this possible? I would need calculations in the interface I guess.

Hi allI'm trying to create an interface (dashboard) that uses a report Filter on client ID (eg. so that client A can only see client A data on the dashboard) (https://support.airtable.com/docs/interface-element-filter).I have shared the interface to a test user as readonly, however the test user can simply change the value in the filter on top of the dashboard, then he can see any client's data.What I'm looking for is to grey out the dashboard filter value, so it says client = "client A" for client A, and client = "client B" for client B etc).... I know I can create a different view for each client, however this is a lot of manual work as the number of client increases...Any suggestion would be much appreciated!  

EDIT: The issue has now fixed itself. The popup looks back to normal now. In the Interface Designer, when clicking "Share" on a Page, there is no longer an option to share the page publicly. As such, there is also no longer an option to UNSHARE a page that was already made public.What happened here? Hi everyone,I'm pretty basic with Airtable, but have been using it for years.I have created this base with an interface that explores the New Zealand Maths curriculum. I now have a resources page, which is fed by a form so that teachers can submit resources to support areas of the curriculum. What I am wanting is a way to show specific resources based on the current record that they are looking at on the MATHS interface page, ie, filter the resources page to match what the current user is looking at.Can I add a button to do this, or include the filtered resources in the actual math record? I don't want to individually have to do this for each record, some way of doing it globally/dynamic would be great.

I've shared a Read-Only link to an interface with a coworker but when he tries to access the interface he gets a message that says "Unable to request access to interface". He tried deleting his account and recreating it, but he's still getting the same message. I can't see any reason why he wouldn't have access. I even got an email about the $10 credit I received when he joined. Why can't he access the interface? I'm on the Team plan, in case that matters. I've got roughly 18 collaborators, most of whom are read-only. Thanks,Kelsey

Hi,I'm new to AirTable and trying to work out if this is possible. I'm creating a form to collect data on various buildings and the facilities they have within them. I've got a starting list of facilities that I'm going to use a multi-select list for, with a checkbox option for other. If "Other" is checked I'll then show a single line text field for the data collector to add another item. However, there could be many items to add. Is it possible to keep adding single line fields on an ad-hoc basis.For example in my basic list I have:PrintersWifiWater fountainThe data collector finds that building A also has:Disabled accessScannersComputer labCaféThese 4 extra items also need to be added during the data collection and so would need 4 new text inputs to be added. Is it possible for the user to dynamically add text inputs to a form?

I find that when using the Sidesheet option, it's really easy to miss when a colleague has made a comment on a record. The design is only very subtly different when there is a comment vs. when there are none, and by default the comments are collapsed. One simple solution would be to make the comments section non-collapsible, or at least default it to being open. Is there a setting for this that I've missed?

I have a form to create tasks, and it asks the user to select a 'project' to link the task to via a record picker.There are a lot of projects, and they are duplicated for different clients, meaning when they use the form, and search for the name of the project we get duplicate results with no way of knowing which record is the correct one.Is there a way to pull in more information into the 'record picker' view, eg) name of client, etc? 

I have an interface that has been made to show lists of all of the Purchase Orders, Purchase Order Items, and Invoices from clients. (Purchase Orders is a table, Purchase Order Items is a table, and Invoices is a table. Each of these tables uses the client's number as part of the name of the record.)Right now, the only solution I have to show everything for a client is to enter their client number into three separate filter elements. (Each filter element is connected to a list in the interface - a list of Purchase Orders, a list of Purchase Order Items, and a list of Invoices.) The filters all work with the same search term because of the client's number being used in the name of the records in the three tables.Is there a way to somehow tie these together so that I can enter just one piece of information in an interface and have it display results from three different tables?

hi everyone, I have created a form with the new form designer in interfaces. When I share the link to it, it shows an Airtable image and title, which may discourage the audience from actually opening the link in the first place...Is there a way to edit/change the cover image and title that are displayed when the form link is shared? thank you

I run a workshop / class business.When a customer books a class I need to manually link the customer to their class looking for the correct class title and date (there are multiple dates to choose from for each class).HOWEVER ... after having airtable for a year now (created for me so I'm still a relatively new user) I have accumulated 100s and 100s of classes and although I can type in the search bar the name of the class to narrow down the number of classes to search through (to find the correct date) there are still far too many and its never in date order either. Annoyingly classes dating back to 2023 will still appear in my search which I would love to omit from my search. Can anyone help? I can't delete the classes from my bases because I need the data. So how do I make it so that when I need to link the class (record) all I see are the dates "from today" or at least just from 2024?It's getting easier and easier to make an

I made a task manager with the new interface designer. Basically a record list from a “tasks table”. It is indeed way more interesting to look at the rows of that table displayed as an interface. Unfortunately, I’m afraid my team will be unable to look at their notifications from that view. If they go back to bases (enabling them to look at notifications again) and open a notification, it will open a regular airtable card, which could be confusing for some people. I wonder if there’s a widget to put notifications in the interface, or maybe just the notifications regarding the table behind that particular interface. So when someone is mentioned in a row and that person opens the notification, it just refreshes the interface with the new row (displayed as an interface). Hello,I am attempting to use Airtable's Kanban board in Interface Designer to replace Trello. It's been going really well overall, however, I just realized that Airtable is not letting me change the order of cards in each column. Whenever I drag-and-drop cards up-or-down in the column, they just go right back to the exact same place and order that they were in before without any change. Does anybody know how I can update my Kanban Interface so that I can change the order of my cards within each column? This wasn't an issue until my lists of cards required a scroll bar.There's not a clear logic to the order the cards are in, however, it appears they might be displayed in the order that the record was created. If so, it would be surprising to me because Record Creation Date isn't a column I'm keeping track of, so I don't know why Airtable would sort by that.I added a screenshot from the Interface Designer settings showing

Hello,I'm experiencing a bug with some of my clients using Airtable on Android tablets. They need to update a "long text field," but they can't type in the field, even though it's configured as editable in the interface designer. It works fine on iPhones and Android phones, and everything else in the interface functions correctly, except for the long text field on Android tablets.Do you have any idea what might be causing this issue? 

Hello, everyone,We have already added one List page at interface designer.  Under the "User actions" section, we set the "Click into record details" and create one new Layout.   We set the field from "View" to "Edit". Now we can click the list row to slide new edit page, but we can't find the required field validation in edit mode.Is there any other approach to add the "required field" validation in edit mode?  You can find the the capture of record detail at interface page. Thanks very much !   

 In an interface, I have a form to add diligences. And inside i have a field to choose the author from a limited view but when we want to choose the author there is no item to choose. It was always working until today I have the same trouble in other forms since today.Is that a bug?

Hi all!I have a list interface and I use two tabs all and focus. I know that a tab is essentially a predefined filter. But on top of the filter I want to have predefined ordering as well, e.g. the tab all ordered alphabetically and the tab focus by creation date. Hi,How can I change the order of the appearance for a field's records on an interface page?The field shows a linked table's records for a contact (calls made), and I'm using show as = 'Field' and style = 'Cards'. Here's a picture of it:I want the newest to show above the older ones, adding to the older ones when entering new records.I had this working already, and can't remember how I did it. After a sudden change yesterday (don't know what happened, all of the sudden the field's appearance changed completely), I can't get it back 😢.Rgds,BjörnPS. I built a dashboard on an Airtable interface, but I feel constrained in several instances because of the relatively low visualization capabilities of Airtable built-in interface. For example, I can't have the Map extension be displayed on my dashboard.So I'd like to explore other options. What would the go-to tool you'd recommend for data visualization?
