Hello, I am having an issue with the Record Review Interface, I will try my best to describe it. The high level idea for our interfaces is a home page for our Project Managers; this lists various information about their project, tasks needing to be done, etc. From this “home page” they can click buttons that jump to different Record Review interfaces where they can perform their task. For example, on my homepage I may have “Projects #1-#4 need closing” - I click the button, it takes me to the “Project Closeout” Record Review interface, and the 4 projects are listed on the record picker element. I can click each project, and closeout what I need to. The problem occurs if I jump to another page. For example, after I close out Project #4 above, I go to my homepage and see “Project #5 and #6 are needing milestone updates”, I go to my “Update Milestone” interface page, #5 and #6 are listed on the left, but the data that is presented is actually for Project #4 because that was the last “sel

For the last day or so, my interfaces have stopped syncing in real time with changes to the actual base. When I make changes in the standard table interface, the record list updates automatically to match the sorting and filtering criteria. However, the interface refuses to do that until I refresh, which somewhat defeats the purpose. I thought it might be a browser issue, but I tried multiple browsers and the same thing happens.

I’m trying to create a line graph that shows the growth of the sum total number of records (in this case interactions) over time. So the X-axis would be dates and the Y axis would be a sum total of all the records. For instance, if there are 5 interactions in Week 1 and then 7 interactions in week 2, the week 1 number would be 5 but the week 2 number should be 12 (5 + 7). If week 3 had 7 more interactions, it should be 19 (12 + 7). As far as I can tell this is impossible in Airtable interfaces. Does anyone have a similar problem or potential workaround?

From studying the tutorials on Interface Designer, the following is not clear to me: Is it possible to build a customer portal with the Interface Designer that only shows an email/password sign in the first customer view and only then the more advanced UI according to the table data which delivers the content? I appreciate any help or suggestions.

I have a field where I’ve placed a URL type Button to open the record in an Interface I’ve built. The interface has a dropdown with the record name field available and when I pick a record from that dropdown, the Interface loads the correct data and displays it correctly. When I launch the Interface from the record Button in the table, the record ID passed to the Interface does not seem to correspond to any real record and so the Interface is blank. I can then use the dropdown to pick the record I planned to have open automatically and I see that the record ID in the URL is not the same as what came from the table Button. The Button URL Formula is: 'https://airtable.com/appHbz38Nlvcyl3DR/pag3PeLHRalQ8SakJ?GUu5w=' & RECORD_ID() (note: for safety, I’ve changed some of the letters in the URL above–but you get the idea) Why won’t this launch the Interface with the chosen record already open?

I have three separate filters set up on record view, however they don’t seem to be working correctly. In the attached, I’ve set the Estimators filter to display results for records that have no Estimator assigned. However, records with Estimators are still being displayed. I presume the Type filter (second filter) is taking precedence over the Estimators filter? All three filters are set as the default ‘Where’ action; it doesn’t give me the option to change this, only add additional conditions to each. Any help appreciated, TIA!

Hi I have a content planning base and I want to create an interface with a chart showing page views for published stories. The stories need to be arranged by date ascending order, but the display label needs to be the title of the piece of content. Is it possible to do this? Thanks! David

Make it so that each record on a view has it’s own interface that can be shared by link (same way that we can share a certain view of records), Make it so that the interface can be shared by embedding into a website (same way that we can embed from a view now), Chiming in to say that I really appreciate this new feature– I have been very much in need of this exact thing. EXCEPT, the lack of ability to share that with people who are not on AT pretty much ruins it for me. Here is how I am using this: I run a company that has many consultants who run trainings for us, and we have base that is a list of everyone’s assignments, that we share in calendar view. Each event has a very long record attached to it because it holds all of the info needed to run that training. At the moment, the trainer goes to the calendar, clicks on that event, and then has to scroll through the record and read all the info. I am test-driving Airtable and I have set up an Interface. But instead of just being able to search through one column (Names, Last Names etc). I want to find a match anywhere in the record. There is no Search Element only a Record Picker. Any ideas, anything that I missed? Valence.

Hey, I have moved to air table from a Microsoft access database I built for my service business. I am overall very happy with air table and the new benefits e.g. being able to intergrade with other cloud service; is amazing. I have found ways to implement the functionality using automations and the interface system but compared to the old system but the overall experience still feels a bit clunky and disjointed. An example of one of my gripes is being able to filter records quickly. In my old system I just typed a couple of words in a search box and it would filter the records for me instantly. I know you can do this with the air table filters but you have to open the filter first, create your filtering criteria and then manually delete your inputs afterwards, it just feel clunky to me… I suspect I could make things slicker by learning scripting but before going down that route is there a third party ‘front end’ service with search/filtering that I should consider? thanks. here you can see a simple graph that shows the data fed from the Paid Client Type field and just shows the X-axis value. I’m not sure if I have to build a couple fields to give me a total percentage of the records or not. I’d like to be able to display what the percentage of these totals are.

Hi ! I have an interface, on which there’s a button that sets a field to a value which do not match the record picker filter. When there are multiple records in the picker, this works just fine, when the button is pressed, the record disappears from the record picker, and the view switches to the next record. However, when I’m done to a single record in the picker and I press the button, the record disappears from the record picker but not from the view. Buttons are still clickable too, leading to the risk of duplicating actions. If i exit the interface and come back, I now have the correct blank view. Note that the “move to next record” toogle have no effect on this behaviour.

Up until this week I was able to open the lookup cards of a linked record in a grid (embedded table), in an airtable interface. Today I can’t do so. What happened? Problem occurs in Firefox and Chrome.

Hi there. I am trying to implement airtable into my real estate business. I wanted to make a landing page for a building or unit and would like to embed my matterport virtual tour or IDX into an airtable interface. is it possible to do this rather than having to use the button and open in a new url?

Good Morning/Afternoon I have inserted a timeline view into my interface and when I apply the utilization function to the timeline view it does not stay once I click out of that interface. I also tried to just copy the timeline view from the base instead of creating it within the interface its self and it does the same exact thing. Does anyone know how to fix this or is this just a bug in the system? Thank you

Hello, So we have a “Survey Results” table that… wait for it… collects our “Survey Results”. It basically runs off an automation. The 'initial trigger is a checkmark in another table. When you tick the checkbox, the “Survey Results” table starts a new row by adding two items - a four-digit RO# and the subs email. Jotform then takes that information, and adds it to a form and sends it out. It then returns the results back to the “Survey Results” table… BUT IN A NEW ROW! This doesn’t seem that hard to figure out, but it sure has stumped me! Please advise, thanks DG

Just started working with custom views with the Interfaces Designer today, was wondering if it’s possible to Add Buttons or my Custom App Blocks in any of the Interfaces/Views I made? If embedding, a Custom App Blocks is not possible, is there a way to add a Button and perhaps redirect it to my Custom App Block?

Hi, I built a bar chart in Interface with the x-axis based on a date field (called “Commitment date”) with a filter that Commitment date is on or after Dec 1st AND on or before Dec 31st (so i can see MTD data), however it is starting at 11/30 instead of 12/1 and shows todays stats as yesterdays date (so basically all the dates are off by one day). Any advice how to fix? Thanks Here are the settings:

I have a timeline element which Date filter. It doesn’t seem to do anything when I try it out in the unpublished mode. Am I doing something wrong here? There is data for the filter setting, so not sure why it doesn’t show anything;
