Hello!I am integrating Airtable with my calendar app and using it to schedule meetings. I want to include a link to the zoom room we are using on that meeting but the link is not showing up, even though the label is on. On the calendar app I can only see the name and a link to the task. Can someone help me?

Hi,I have a base with a "Workorders" table, to that workorder I would like to be able to add parts from my "Spare parts" table by scanning the barcode of that spare part (instead of writing in the search box).Each spare part has a barcode field with their unique barcode.Is this possible? At the moment I can't see any other way to link to a record then to manually type and find the right part.As there are so many parts in play with similar names, being able to find them by their barcode would be great help.Anyone know if this is even possible?

We are setting up Airtable to manage multiple projects and multiple teams. Each project has its own Base, and each Project Base has its own task list. Is there a way to see all tasks across all projects in one place? One of the main problems we are trying to solve is to find a way for each team member to see all of his or her tasks in one place even though they are located in various bases. For the past two days my extensions (any extension) has been failing on safari Mac Ventura with Apple Silicon. They don’t seem to be effected in Chrome. Anyone else noticing this? It happens on all my bases / workspaces.

Hi,I am trying to filter for individual service users who attended support sessions between two dates. I have attached screenshots to show the process followed.The issue is that the filters appear correct (they are very straight forward and I've verified them with others in and outside of the organisation) but some of the results do not correspond to the filter commands. BACKGROUND INFO:The data come from two linked tables: Service Users and Activities Engaged with. Service Users are linked to Activities Engaged with via the date of the activity. The date format is NAME OF MONTH, DAY, YEAR.When using filters that cut across two calendar years to produce a report over a financial year in the UK, the query looks like the following:Where Date contains YEAR (e.g. 2022)AND (Condition Group) Where Date contains (list of months by name starting April to January)OR (Condition Group) Where Date

Having trouble getting timeline view to work. Setup includes: View is zoomed out to 1 year (months) Record grouping is based on record category Record coloring is based on a single select field for sales type What I need to have is each record show: Health of record (a single emoji from a formula rollup, :red_circle: , :orange_circle: or :green_circle: Name of record Count of projects connected If I Keep the name of record first, then it displays as much text as it can fit and then trails off with “…” As soon as I move the health or count to be first, then it only shows the health for example and then “…” followed by empty space. Why is it not using the available space to trail off when needed? Dear Airtable Community, I’ve been using the following guidance on Power BI queries to import my Airtable data: Sending Airtable data to Microsoft Power BI & Power Query – Airtable Support However, post-import, I’ve noticed that my multiple selection variables are just converting into “[List]”. Is there anything I can add to the query template code that would tell PowerBI to craft new columns to capture all of the multiple-select inputs, or at the very least pull the first selected input? Many dependency workflows happen within a single day. The current gantt block doesn’t allow for that. It assumes at least a day between all dependencies (it generates a red flag if a dependency sequence shares a single date) In the Gantt chart, we need a way to link/view dependency sequences within a single day. Maybe allow dependencies by date AND time? Or provide some other way to link them?

Hi everyone. in order to program my production I want to use the airtable PRO platform, how can I have the timeline displayed in the departments, have them enter data, avoiding the use of PRO versions for each department? otherwise the situation would become too expensive … therefore summarizing: in the office I have the PRO version that inserts the production programs each department has a separate timetable with the possibility of entering some data (finished work, quality problems, number of pieces, etc.) thanks!

I have an enterprise system that I want to serve as a data source for Airtable. Is it possible to house data for AirTable in external sources? Ideally, I would want to connect Airtable to my data source for real time data access. Not so ideally, I would want Airtable to either reach out to my data source on a scheduled basis or schedule a push of data from my data source into Airtable on a scheduled basis.

I am trying to use Lookup data in a formula and can’t get it to work. Table A is a list of print products, and column 1 are the unit costs pulled from linked table B, which contains unit costs for different page counts. In another column on Table A, I want to multiply the unit cost by 25. I have tried doing this using a forumla, and I have tried it using the Rollup function, and both result in “error.” Also another weird thing I noticed: If I format the the column in table B that contains the unit costs as a number, the Lookup data in table A gets rounded up to a 1! So I can’t get any meaningful sums when I group the data. The only way to get the correct numbers to show up is if I leave the column in Table B formatted as short text. Weird!

The pivot table blocks are really useful for creating reports. Is there any way to share the contents of a pivot table block with people who don’t have an Airtable login? What I would really like to automatically email the contents of a pivot table to someone every week (perhaps using Zapier) or to be able to send them a URL which had a read-only view. But even the ability to export the pivot table to CSV would be a step forward. Andy

However, since it become possible to sync from a shared Google Drive some time ago, I’m wondering if it’s now also possible to attach a doc from a shared Drive ? Thanks !

Hi there, I am using the Matrix blocks and would like to just hide the “(empty)”, but show the remaining columns that may or may not have values. If I check the box to hide the empty rows, it also hides columns without data in them. I’d like to just hide the “(empty)” column/row when there is no data. The rest of the actually empty columns/rows I’d like to keep so I can show that we indeed don’t have anything in that matrix. See example

Hi everyone! I’m trying to work with the Vega-Lite extension to show sums of values in multiple fields in a stacked bar chart, but I haven’t been able to get a stacked bar graph to work correctly without manually creating a new “data” array of objects with values. For example: I’d like to be able to show something like “Jim worked for 0.5 hours on checking emails, 2 hours on code reviews, 1 hour on development, and 1.5 hours on assisting coworkers, for a total of 6 hours” as a stacked bar chart, where Jim has each number of hours as a different field on the table for a total of 4 fields and 4 bars stacked. Is this possible with Vega-Lite’s integration with Airtable, or even Vega-Lite as a whole? Or am I limited in either how many fields I can stack or how the table data is formatted? How can I do to change the primary key in a table from a field to another one?

I'm I missing something or does the mobile app (iOS) ignore view information in Airtable url links? Scenario: I setup QR codes to pull up records in specific view for updating assets. On a web browser it works perfect but on the mobile app it always opens in whatever view was last used on that device and ignores the view referenced in the link. Also, is there no way to input/search on the mobile app via QR(camera), have to leave app switch to camera scan, then it reloads app very slow process forced to walk around with a laptop or use another tool to collect then upload, update via script

I just spent an half an hour writing up a question with a lot of details and I get this error: Authentication Failed.Ticket Mismatched. When I submitted the post.I know that bugs still love me (Spent 25 years in SQA and I don't even have to try and bugs find me).  But I lost my entire post for no apparent reason.  And given that drafts auto-save - I would have thought I would have been able to return to the draft form, nope the link sent me to the Interface Community space.SIGH. 

Hello,I am having a table in Airtable that contains a text field with dates. I imported a CSV files. And all dates were added as text field in a wrong format (MM/DD/YY). So I am basically looking for a way to: Convert these text date field to a real date field that is next to the column (so Column 1 with the text based date value should be copied to Column 2 with a date field)And in another column I want to change the date format (also text based) from MM/DD/YY to DD/MM/YYYY.How can I do this? Thanks for help, M.

I am using a customized version of the Employee onboarding Template base. The template seems to be set up to duplicate the base for every new hire that is being onboarded. I would like to use one base that generates a checklist for the employer onboarding tasks every time a new hire is created (I have a synced table with new hire records). I thought maybe I could use the new record templates feature, but the problem I'm encountering is that just linking tasks means that I can't use the "Complete" checkbox because it applies to the task record, not the task for a specific new hire. I have some Airtable view URLs (all from the same table) that I copied from Safari on my Mac. (https://airtable.com/BaseID/TableID/ViewID). When I tap the links on my iPhone, they correctly open the Airtable iOS app to the appropriate table, but never the correct view. It always goes to the last used view in the app. The links work fine in a desktop browser. Is this a bug with the iOS app? 

Hi, I am trying to find a solution to enhance the experience of the user while filling up the form and also get the right information. Objective: User needs to see information of default payment terms when they select the desired agency in the forms. Then they will be required to select the payment terms they desire. They should be able to select the default or something different. If they select something different than the default option, they should give the reason why.Functionalities that might solve: Add the look up field in the form - that will show when the 'link to another record' is selected; Functionality of creating a conditional filed if 2 fields are different.If there is another workaround/solution, please let me know.
