Hi, any idea why this issue is happening?If this helps anyone: I encountered a similar problem in the past while running "add Image from Google Maps" extension. The Airtable team initially suggested that one possible reason for this error is when a table already has 500 fields and you attempt to add another field to it. However, in my case, I only have around 10 fields. Eventually, they discovered that the error occurred because the extension was using the Google Maps URL as a filename, which sometimes exceeded the 255 character limit. They recommended editing line 116 in the script as follows: urls.push({ url: staticmapUrl});

This is probably pretty simple for someone out there. I’m not really a database guy, just hacking my way through creating a product information system for thousands of styles to make catalog production easier. I need to do a find and replace using the Substitute formula string but can’t get it working. In one field I have a bunch of product names. An example would be something like “LS Shirt” but I need to change it to “Long Sleeve Shirt”. How do I go about it? The tips don’t go into much detail about how to identify how to reference a specific column/table and then have it changed. Open to any help or tips… Thanks, Matt

Hello! I just joined my company and I am entirely new to Airtable. I’m a project manager and I’m looking to use dependencies in my grid to automatically update my project schedule that I’ve created. For example, I’d like to make task B dependent on the conclusion of task A (finish-to-start relationship) AND, if I update the end date of Task A, the start date of task B should update based on the new end date of task A, as well as any other tasks on my schedule that are dependent on B and so on. I’ve figured out how to create dependencies but it doesn’t auto-update any of my dependent tasks when I update dates which is VERY manual and time consuming as a project manager. I’ve also noticed that Airtable only accommodates finish-to-start relationships and I often time need start-to-start relationships. Hey everyone,I have a temporary accommodation that people apply to.All of my applicants are stored on my Airtable in tab #1 (Applications) once they apply with form #1, which I use as my CRM.Once an applicant is accepted, I send this person form #2 asking for the exact move in/out dates and other valuable information using another form.Currently, I'm using tab #2 (Residents) within the same base to store that info and I'm wondering whether:there's a way to put all of the info from form #2 into the existing row that was created with row #1 orI should use another alternative, such as using a List view to combine both of these areasThank you very much for your help!Cheers,Marc from Barcelona

Is there any way to create Airtable sharing groups based on records in an Airtable base?Context: We have around 70 employees belonging to different teams. Team members in each team keep on either changing the team or new members are added to the teams. I regularly update the details relate change of team or new member addition regularly in the master base containing all employee details. Ask: I want the sharing groups to be automatically updated when a particular persons team name has been updated. Is there any way to achieve this? 

Does anyone know how to fix images being cutoff in gallery view? I'd like to do this without selecting "crop" because this makes the image very small - Is there a certain size or?  Attached are two images - one line of images in gallery view where images are cutoff ➕ then how image should appear.

I have a whole base set up for our youth wrestling program, and the only thing I cannot figure out is how to set up repeating practices. For example - one group practices Tues, Wed and Thurs every week - so I really need 36+ columns for that group to put one date in each for 3 months? There has to be an easier way to set up events that repeat on a regular basis, right? I have searched the Community and found some references in the past to this issue, but nothig that shows that it has been answered.

Hi there I would like to be able to know how many hours a tasks takes a member on my team so I can be alerted if over 4 hours. The catch is that I want to calculate only business day hours not just straight hours. Example would be if the tasks is started at 4 pm, and the WorkDay ends at 5, then only one hour. Then the clock would start again at 8 AM. until the 4 hours accumulated. I’m thinking it’s not possible but wanted to see if anyone in the community had any ideas. Thanks!

Was just wondering if there was a way to see how many records each base is using? For example to check if you are near your limit of 1,200 / 5,000 / 50,000 records? Thanks.

I have three columns in Table A:a person's name (lookup of Table B)a person's role (lookup of Table C)a posted message (lookup of Table D)For some reason, my posted message column blanked out (Don't ask. I have no idea how.) So, I'd like to see if there is a way I can reconnect the lookup of Table D automatically without using an API. Or is there a way I can build another column in Table A that will return the record I need to reconnect (based on the matching criteria of name (table B) + role (table C))?

Hi all, Sorry for the long-winded explanation but I’m hoping to get my head around the best way to use the chart extension to show project starts for each Quarter. In short, we have a base where each record is a project, and one column nominates a yearly quarter each project to start (ie. “Q1/2021” for projects starting in the first quarter of 2021). Problem when charting is (1) I can’t seem to arrange the x-axis in the correct sequence, and (2) it doesn’t seem to allow for quarters with no projects starting. If I sort by ‘view’, it appears to arrange the x-axis by the order in which they appear on the grid: If I arrange by “X value”, it sorts all Q1 together, then all Q2 together: If I arrange by “Y value” it sorts by total count for each quarter: If anyone knows the best way to arrange the data so the X axis is in the right order AND allows for quarters with zero starts, that would be great! When I try and paste the URL for my base calendar to Google calenda nothing happens and the calendar won't add.I recorded a video to explain. Hi I'm fairly new to Airtable, I am using an Airtable form for my sign up and I haven't launched it yet but when I try to use it to make sure everything is fine, I get a warning:"Warning: potentially risky form"The user-created form you are attempting to access has been flagged as a potential risk. If you wish to proceed and view the form anyways, please remember to never submit your passwords through Airtable forms.Please contact abuse@airtable.com if you would like to request a review of this form."I moved my form from Google form to Airtable thinking it would save me time thanks to the automation but if there's a warning like this then it's not worth it. Airtable hasn't answered me. Has anyone faced this and found a way to resolve the issue?

Attached is a video of the issue. I know I can access the tables from the drop down menu but sometimes just prefer going directly if I know where the table is. The tabs on the right are covered while clicking on the ribbon to move the tabs, it moves the tabs that were previously covered on the right, too far to the left, so that the tab is not covered from the left and can't be clicked on.  

Does anyone have a way to contact the maker of the extension ChatGPT Assistant? The company is called Oxygen Apps , but the support email bounces back, and the CEO's email is also invalid. 

Hello.I am new to AirTable. I am not a software developer. I was given the URL of some research data that somebody compiled on AirTable, and I would like to make use of that data for a project. The table has 2500 records, though, and 21 fields (columns). I don't need all of it, just a small subset. I don't know how to extract that data into something more useful, e.g. .csv, except to print it to a .pdf, extract to .txt, and then parse the text with a script that then saves it to .csv.The problem I'm running into is that I can't fit all the data onto a single page because it seems as if AirTable doesn't let me omit fields (columns) when I print to pdf. I can hide fields from view in my browser (Chrome, Safari), but they are included when I print to pdf. Unfortunately, this jams all the data and shortens it with ellipses (...).Can anybody provide a suggestion or guidance, either in how I can extract all the data from the Table using AirTable's API despite not having direct access to the

Is it possible to copy color conditions to a new table or new view? I'd like to use the same conditions but not have to rebuild said conditions every time I create a new view or new table.Thanks!

Hello, I’m trying to sync my outlook calendar to my Airtable base, but it’s giving me the following error message: “Last synced failed # minutes ago (Microsoft may be experiencing issues with their API).” Are there any problem syncing the Outlook calendar? I use the script below to retrieve the latest date from all records in table 'personal expenses', and want to insert this value to all records in table 'personal budget' (this table is in the same base).The script works if I update the records in the same table 'personal expenses', but not when updating the other table 'personal budget'. Hi, I need to check revision history beyond 1 year. Is there any way I can access that?For example, I noticed that Enterprise level subscriptions can access past 3 years' of history. Until recently, we've had no problems with images and thumbnails displaying in Airtable. Over the last couple of days though, we've had a few images that come through without thumbnails. When you open the record, it shows a 'blank' image (see pics below).In two cases, when I clicked on the image from within the record, the actual image displayed, but for others it remained blank.Users are uploading images from their mobile devices. Hi all, I’m wondering if there is any third-party service that can assist in moving an entire CRM database from Salesforce into Airtable. I don’t think it’s as simple as a basic CSV import, as the database has a lot of records linked across tables as well as a lot of files associated with individual records. Is there any service that exists for this? Or is this something that would need to be done manually?
