We are using a timeline view that is grouped by tags and set to "split multiple values into individual groups." Depending on the browser/computer that opens the timeline view, the order in which the tags are grouped changes.  Both instances are using identical settings for the grouping and are being viewed via a shared link.  The Sort feature is not used at all, only the ordering based on Group.Below are screenshots showing the behavior:  In this instance,  "A" was taken from Chrome and "B" was taken from Edge from the same computer. However, we have users who are using Chrome and see the incorrect order like in "B."  Incorrect results have also been seen in Safari, Brave, and Chrome set to incognito.Is there a different approach that can be used to guarantee that the order of the groups is consistent across browsers/devices?    

I have a column {Sentence with Plain Value}, whenever a value that is listed in column {Plain Value} exists, I want it replaced with the value in column {Value with R Ball} and outputted with other initial values in the sentence. For example:I love to have a Big Breakfast will be -> I love to have a Big Breakfast®A Burger is delicious -> A Burger® is deliciousHow can I accomplish this?

I saw a thread that mentioned being able to change the air table theme even though you couldn't change background pictures and such directly. I can't find the source of the source again, but what I remember is that it may have been available through some sort of lab or designer or dev space, and it mentioned some sort of bizarre leopard print option, if that rings any bells. 

Hi All,Hope someone can help!In our base we have multiple Proposals (in one table) linked to each single Sales Opportunity (in another table).I would like the proposal's naming convention to be "{Sales Opportunity} - Proposal 1", with any further Proposals linked to the same Sales Opp named Proposal 2, 3, etc. (ie not using an Autonumber field that simply counts all records in a table). Ideally the number will not change if an earlier Proposal is deleted (but not the end of the world if so).Is anyone aware of a way to do this besides manually?Many thanks!

I’m using an iPad Pro, 11-inch, and having difficulty creating an Interface. I can configure it through the first few screens, but when it prompts me to add fields and forms, the screen continually jumps up and down with the “Open in the AirTable App” notification bar appearing and disappearing off the screen. Anyone else experiencing this or know a workaround (other than using a different computer)?

Hi Community,New to Airtable and trying to put together an inventory tracking system.  I followed some video's on YouTube and created 4 separate tables.  Equipment (i.e. models), Received, Issued, and Disposition.  I have a form that will intake when we receive item.  The form logs each record as an individual item, so we can track serial numbers and other unique information to the device. Here is where I am wondering the art of the possible.  I can have the team fill out another form with the exact same information, but I was wondering if there is a way, in my Issued Form where I can look back at the inventory that has been received and provide a drop down for staff to select from.  That data would be submitted in the Issued table.  Assuming there would also need to be a field in the Received table for Available Yes/No.  After selection and submission of the form, it would change that Available field from Yes to No and remove it from the li

I schedule presentations for various members of our Board.  I need for airtables to embed all upcoming presentations currently not assigned on a private page on our website.  Then I would like to direct the Board members to that page and ask them to select which presentation they would like to make.  (any Board member can make any presentation).  Once they select which presentation(s) they will make, then have the form update so that others can see that option is already chosen and automate an e-mail to that Board member with additional info about that presentation.  Anyone had a similar need and figured out how to do it?

I have multiple tables for tracking different projects / workplans, and the columns are different in each. I created a field on each to note tasks/projects in each workplan that has to be reported to my leader ("REPORTUP", as a single select). I set up a list view in each table that will show only those items with a filter, but I would like to have a table that would pull the "task" field from each table when I select "YES" on the "ReportUp" field. I have not been successful using the "linked field" set ups. When I did it, all of the tasks were in one box in the "consolidation table". I essentially want a stacked view. Is that possible? 

Context: I have a series of trainings that is being accessed by those in multiple time zones. Previously, I have marked everything in GMT, yet it continues to confuse respondents who are only thinking in their current time. Therefore, I’m trying to create a registration form that converts the training options to the registrant’s time zone. I have managed to create a grid that adjusts the Date/Time format (see image below) Unfortunately, this doesn’t configure over to a form. Is there a specific field type that can be used?

Forgive me if this is complicating. Tried contacting Airtable Support but it has been a while with no response. My browser Airtable has no issues what so ever but I prefer to use the App for my Macbook. Never had an issue until I changed my email on my account (can only be done in browser). Now the App no longer reads my email address as having a account, then i try to sign-in with google but it auto signs in. I have cleared my cache to try and stop that but it keeps auto signing in to my old email address which now has no dashboards in that file. Any tips on how to use my app again? I have tried uninstalling and re-installing. I have gone into App data and deleted cache, deleted browser cache and used the airtable option to clear cache which does not seem to do anything.

I have two tables:A list of members with a primary key of membership numberA list of payments made from all members.  It doesn't really have a primary key, but I could make one.  I want it to use the 'foreign' key from the membership table aboveWhat I want in my interface is a way of displaying all the payments made by just that member being viewed at that time, and entering payments made in the table on the interface.I have got as far as inserting an element of grid, and picking the fields I want visible AND editable, but there is something I am getting wrong as the element seems to be locked for editing saying it is ' not available in look up element mode'Can anyone see what I am trying to do here and how I can make it work?  Maybe I am thinking about the table set up in the wrong way, and should be trying a one to many relationship rather than many to many, but I don't know how to go about it.Simple language please.  I am a newbie at this.

I'm working with a fixed asset inventory base with close to 6000 records.  One of the issues that I'm having is the slow record fetching after scanning a barcode.  My primary field is a formula field that pulls from the barcode field.  I have a view that only shows a minimum of fields that I need to update the record as last seen at location on what date.  When I select the current date to show when I last saw this record it lags.  I find that if I push the record up with a finger gesture on my iPad it seems to update quicker, but not always.  I've tried creating different views by sorting the barcode field to see if that would help the indexing of the field for faster record fetching, it hasn't.Anything ideas on what to try next?  My attachments are already over 20g and I'm less than half way done with the annual inventory.All the Best!Pablo

We are searching for a payment platform to link to Airtable. We are an arts organization that accepts fees from artists and donations from sponsors that we would like to integrate into Airtable. Last year we had about 300 payments of these types. We have had trouble understanding if and how Zapier/Stripe might work for us, Any suggestions?

Hey all, I might have been swept up in some A/B testing, but I’ve started seeing an “Email me a copy of my responses” checkbox at the bottom of some of my forms some of the time. When the box is checked, it opens up a yellow email field. When I put in my email I get a receipt and my browser is redirected to an airtable.com signup form. My question is, does anyone know how to turn it off? My feedback for the Airtable team: I like the receipt capability, that’s a great addition. But on this particular form (and many others like it) I don’t want people to be diverted to create an account. Oftentimes the form is one step in a longer journey/process I’ve created. This changes disrupts all that since I can’t enable/disable or - for now - even predict when I’ll see this feature. In our use case, 99% of people filling out my forms have no reason to join airtable. It’s not like they would get to see the record they just created. I am using the following path to link to my specific view in a tableairtable:///tableID/viewIDOn desktop, the url works fine which open up that view. Problem occurs when I try to open the url on my phone. If I have already opened another view on the same table on the airtable app, then the url will not redirect the app to the specific view but rather stay at the view that I have been opened. This problem will not occur if the already opened view is on other table.I want to know how solve this problem. Thanks.

Hello! I am new to Airtable but my organization has been somewhat using it for a bit now. Our main workspace as 14 collaborators listed as a creator or an owner. In the workspace settings, they're listed as billable collaborators but we've never paid for an account.My first question is this, how are we using 1 workspace with 14 collaborators listed? I do know they're not all actively using it but they do have accounts so I'm not sure if that matters.My second question is: I'm needing to create a separate workspace with just 2 of us as collaborators. Will we need to upgrade our plan to have a separate shared workspace? It needs to be a workspace and not a base as the information isn't accessible to every one in the organization. I appreciate any help and insight to the matter. 

Hi Airtable community I’m a new user and i have a problem with a formula that’s probably simple for everybody here. I need to make an url with this formula for my typeform : CONCATENATE(‘https://mytypeform.typeform.com/to/gMQE2K?company=’, {Company}, ‘&person=’,{Person} ,’&id=’,{ID}) But there is often spaces in the names of the companies, which is breaking my URLs I found the formula to substitute the spaces : SUBSTITUTE(fieldName, " ", “%20”) But i can’t figure out where to place it in the final formula. I am using airtable to keep track of medical records. I’ve uploaded several X-rays of the same bone, but they all came in as separate records. Is there a way of combining all the images in a single record now? drag and drop isn’t working, and copy paste just replaces the one whole image with another. I need multiple images to be attached to one record. Any ideas?

Hi there - We are setting up our Gantt chart to have phases, tasks and milestones, but there is not a way to sort so that the phases are on top, or also in the right order. How do you organize your Gantt views?

I would like to know if it possible to link Airtable and Trello without Zapier or any other paid service?I have searched through 'Extensions' in Airtable for anything with the word Trello without success.The only post I found was back in 2016 and of course points you to Zapier.https://community.airtable.com/t5/other-questions/trello-airtable-nirvana-of-project-management/m-p/91927#M27188While I have nothing against Zapier (I am sure it's a great tool) but in my simple small personal case it would be an another unwarranted expense having to pay for this.I am guessing there is no other alternative and building a custom extension would (I assume, pls correct me if I am wrong) would require more knowledge of proper coding, it would be great if it didnot.Thanks in advance for any solutions and good insight.Kind regardsDavid.

Hi all! First post - seems like a great community.I have an Airtable view that I'd like to be semi-public: Users who have an account with us should be able to log in and view the view, but those who don't should not. Can I do this from a security perspective? As I understand it, if I embed the view anywhere it has to be inherently fully public and that anyone with the link to the view (that the embed code uses, for example) would be able to just open the view directly in Airtable.Is there any way to do this?
