Hi Airtable community I’m a new user and i have a problem with a formula that’s probably simple for everybody here. I need to make an url with this formula for my typeform : CONCATENATE(‘https://mytypeform.typeform.com/to/gMQE2K?company=’, {Company}, ‘&person=’,{Person} ,’&id=’,{ID}) But there is often spaces in the names of the companies, which is breaking my URLs I found the formula to substitute the spaces : SUBSTITUTE(fieldName, " ", “%20”) But i can’t figure out where to place it in the final formula. I am using airtable to keep track of medical records. I’ve uploaded several X-rays of the same bone, but they all came in as separate records. Is there a way of combining all the images in a single record now? drag and drop isn’t working, and copy paste just replaces the one whole image with another. I need multiple images to be attached to one record. Any ideas?

Hi there - We are setting up our Gantt chart to have phases, tasks and milestones, but there is not a way to sort so that the phases are on top, or also in the right order. How do you organize your Gantt views?

I would like to know if it possible to link Airtable and Trello without Zapier or any other paid service?I have searched through 'Extensions' in Airtable for anything with the word Trello without success.The only post I found was back in 2016 and of course points you to Zapier.https://community.airtable.com/t5/other-questions/trello-airtable-nirvana-of-project-management/m-p/91927#M27188While I have nothing against Zapier (I am sure it's a great tool) but in my simple small personal case it would be an another unwarranted expense having to pay for this.I am guessing there is no other alternative and building a custom extension would (I assume, pls correct me if I am wrong) would require more knowledge of proper coding, it would be great if it didnot.Thanks in advance for any solutions and good insight.Kind regardsDavid.

Hi all! First post - seems like a great community.I have an Airtable view that I'd like to be semi-public: Users who have an account with us should be able to log in and view the view, but those who don't should not. Can I do this from a security perspective? As I understand it, if I embed the view anywhere it has to be inherently fully public and that anyone with the link to the view (that the embed code uses, for example) would be able to just open the view directly in Airtable.Is there any way to do this?

I have an embedded Airtable view in a website that acts as a directory with contact information. I'd like to keep track of how many times each person listed in the directory is sought after and add a counter to that person's record. I thought about doing this by hiding the email address field of each contact behind a button, and when the button is clicked, doing two things:- Revealing the email address of the contact.- Incrementing a counter field on that record to show that another person was interested in this contact.I wrote a script to do this, but soon ran into the fact that you can't have a button running scripts in the embedded view and it is hence greyed out.Is there anything I can do to solve this problem, regardless of if buttons is the right solution?Thanks! 

I’m looking up some text from a different table (Which is another look up from a 3rd table). But the look up creates stacked text (I’ve expanded the length of the field - but still stacked) Is there a way to get rid of all these line breaks and make the text all on one line?

Hourly pay is dependent on age as shown below. I have 2 fields setup in my table: 'Age' and 'Hourly Pay'.I've tried all combos of IF, nested IFs and <= symbols but can't get the formula for all 3 age/pay combos to display correctly. Your help is needed folks..! 23 and over21 to 2218 to 20£9.50£9.18£6.83 

Is there a way to free up space used by deleted attachment.? I read an earlier post that stated that deleted attachments are stored in the base's snapshots and until the snapshot history expires (in my case 6 months), the space is not released. Is there a way to fix this or perhaps even seek a shorter time for retaining snapshots for this base? Thanks.rex

I see this option "Copy field URL" in the dropdown menu when right-clicking on a field header:I am intrigued by it and what it is useful for. I cant find mention of it in the docs, other than a screenshot that contains it but doesn't explain why: https://support.airtable.com/docs/field-type-overviewAnyone have any idea what it is used for? If I paste it into a blank tab it does load the base then highlight the appropriate field, but that seems like a bit of a lonely specialised use-case for a whole menu item...

This forum board is a total train wreck. I hate to come here now.I submitted a couple of times for last few years a request to Airtable for adding a field search everywhere on the mobile application (iOS, Android etc), this is badly needed. I have 100s of fields and it is impossible to scroll through the list of fields to select from the list of fields, the one field I want to pick, e.g. as filter, or show them in view, or sort by etc. anywhere on the mobile app when I need to pick from the list of my fields.So far nothing happened much. Anybody facing the same situation as a mobile app user?

I am creating a table to record games and scores from foosball games with some friends. I am trying to calculate a few different stats and having trouble or always feel like I am doing it the hard way. Also curious what else could be done with the data available. Anyone have some tips/inspiration? I was going to share the table but I am not able to post a link. It basically includes all games, scores for each side, winner/loser, date. Interested in calculating stuff like avg. score differential, head-to-head matchups, longest win-streak, and whatever else. Just having fun with it and learning Airtable. The right answer to this could also be Airtable isn’t the best for this.

I have several rollup fields that search a table ('Transactions') for all accepted contract values for each given project via sum(values). For some reason, the rollups have stopped working and no longer sum up any new records added to the Transactions table. I am able to add and change previously working records, but any new records are not updating. Any assistance would be great.

Hello! I have a small tutoring company and I use Airtable to manage my students. In my base, I have a main overview table with all my student’s information and a separate table for each student where I track individual progress. On these individual progress tables, each cell is a checkbox where I can click once a student has completed a given task. Is there a way to add a progress bar (represented by a percentage or fraction) into my overview table that updates as more checkboxes are clicked on the individual progress tables? I want to be able to have a big picture view of each students progress.

Hello, I am new to Airtable. I bought access to a list of data a few months ago. That's how I discovered Airtable, since this list is on Airtable.Today I realized that I see all the customers who have also purchased these lists in the share list. I'm a little surprised that it's not hidden. I could get all the customers to make them an offer myself actually and I don't like having my address visible like that either. I don't find this system very confidential. Is it possible to hide the accesses we give to our different collaborators/customers?ThanksSophie

I have two tables. The first table (Articles) records each have fields that include “Main Point 1”, “Main Point 2” and “Main Point 3”. . … The second table (Article related items) links to the first with a lookup of the various records. I need to create a multi (or single) select field that allows users to choose the field name “Main Point 1” or “Main Point 2” or “Main Point 3” (from table 1) and populate a single cell in the table 2 record with the information from whichever fields were chosen in the dropdown. There can be several records in the second table for each record in the first. Articles (Table 1) Article Related Items (Table 2) Is there a way to do this. I feel like I have come across this solution before, but cannot find it despite spending a lot of time searching. Thank you.

We have an interface built for our finance team to keep track of invoices and which purchase orders they're paid on. (separate tables for invoices and POs). Today one of our team members asked me for help un-linking a PO from an invoice, in order to replace it with a corrected PO record. That's when we discovered that when he hovers over the PO card on the invoice record, he doesn't get the little grey "X" button to unlink the records like I do. We are both editors with full access to the base, and I had him try it on multiple browsers. Any ideas what I'm missing here? Thanks!

Hey y'all,So, I have this big base of about 1300 records that we've made accessible to the public designed as a marketing resource. Lately, people have been "requesting accesss", which is great in the sense that they want access to the data, but not what it was designed for. I was wondering if there was some way to remove people's ability to request such. Kind of a shot in the dark, but thought I'd ask. Any and all help is mega appreciated. 🙂  Thanks so much, Z

Hi! We are attempting to automate some data from a Looker (Look) into an Airtable on a periodic basis (monthly). We've enabled this in Looker and connected our API key in Looker as well. We paste in the appropriate Base and Table id's and we also created the 1:1 column headers. Even for testing we limited the row count to 100. But for some reason, we keep trying but the data never shows up in the Airtable. Anyone had similar issues? Feels like its something small I just can't see breaking it but not sure.

Hi there, I created a button that runs a script to download an attachment from an external API. This works 100%, but it opens the Extensions pane, when the button is clicked. Is it possible to NOT open the extensions pane when the button is clicked to download and attach the document to the record?  

Hi all,we at Farm to Feed have just set up our base which is linked to other software solutions via APIs to construct an automated supplychain. For the past 1.5years we have been using excel for our operations and all our data sits in a few workbooks. I am now looking for someone who can migrate our data from these excel workbooks to our airtable base, taking note that our base includes quite a lot of linked records which don't easily are copied correctly from excel. Hi, Does anyone know if it is possible to import a list of hyperlink URLs from spreadsheet to airtable? I know CSV files can be imported. If you copy and past links directly from Excel file to import, then the hyperlinks will be displayed as text rather than hyperlink type in airtable. Thank you in advance.

Hi,After using 2 Pro accounts for one month to confirm our needs, I've been trying to find again the link for the subscription to a plan for 5 users for a Pro plan at $360 / year. Should it be found in the UI ? Right I can only see a much higher price.I was wondering how much you paid and if anyone had that offer too ?Thanks.
