Hi, I’m trying to send an AMP email from airtable to collect NPS form data and store that data in airtable. This form is embedded in the mail body itself so that the users don’t have to go to another page to fill in the same. Usually, I use cURL in the scripting node to send email campaigns from airtable and the Gmail node for single emails. Since this is a form it needs HTML email, which can’t be done with a scripting node. How can I use airtable to send and receive such form data, is there a solution or workaround? Please let me know if further explanation is needed.

I’m creating an invite-only job application form. When sending it to applicants, is there a way to prevent someone from sharing the form, i.e, restricted access so that only people with the provided email can open the link?

I have a Master Table “Source Table” with all our project tasks. What I want to do is set up is a way that when a task is assigned to a team member that the record for that task ALSO shows up in that team member’s table “Receiving Table” without breaking the link between the two tables so that any updates would be bi-directionally synced (e.g., the team member uses their own table and changes the task’s status from “To do” to “Completed” and that same status change shows up in the Master Table on that same record too). So far, I’ve only been able to ascertain that Airbase can do a one-directional syncing from the “source” to the “receiving” table but not back from the “receiving” to the “source” table. Why not? I’ve also figured out how to set up an automation to copy a record from the “source” table to a “receiving” triggered by a change in the person assigned, but in that case, it creates a copy that no longer syncs at all with the source once it creates the copied record. Help!

I am looking for a solution to implement fractional fields in my table. These would hopefully be also calculable. I haven’t found any questions in this regard but please send me that way if you are aware of the similar topic.

Hi! When I use the the dedupe extension I can select to exclude a record from the set, but when I run dedupe again another time it’s still there. Is there a way to permanently set a record as not a duplicate so that when I run dedupe I’m only seeing what is new? Thank you!!!

Hello to all, Today I would like to ask you a question concerning the generation of commercial documents, and especially quotes. I have already tested the Documint solution which gives me complete satisfaction for invoice type documents, but not for estimates. In my business, a quote has a section, which describes the items proposed to the customer. This section is a table with 4 columns (description, price, quantity, etc…) A line of this table corresponds to a product. The description column of a product is composed of a title and a long description text. It happens that several products are integrated in the estimate, and thus the estimate contains several pages. My problem is that with Documint, the red header of my product section (descripton - PRICE H.T - Qty - TOTAL H.T) is repeated on a new page, if several products are integrated in the estimate… Documint has no plans to add this repetition function for the moment…W

Hi there! I need a way to effectively view tables from multiple bases together in a “master base.” I was able to sync tables from multiple different bases together, but they are entered as individual tables within this one new base. I am not able to copy and paste them all together into one table because they are synced from an external source (the original base) so editing is not allowed. Essentially, I need to be able to see tasks from multiple projects together in order to view a high-level calendar, due dates, etc. Happy to provide more detail if necessary. Thanks!

I want to calculate a field with the “age” of people in my database from their birthday BUT there are several extra conditions, which makes it more complicated. So I need some help… (A1) For most people I have the birthday (day, month, year), e.g. 27.1.1955 (A2) But for some people I only have the birth year, e.g. 1955 (B) And for some I don’t have any birth date at all. In that case, the “age” field should remain blank. (D1) And furthermore, some people already have died and I have their death day (day, month year). For them I need to calculate the age when they died. (D2) While for some I have their death year. So the formula should calculate the age in years for people. What is that formula? I already got as far as to use this formula: IF({Birthday}=BLANK(), IF( {Died}, {Died}, {Died Year}-{Birthday Year}),DATETIME_DIFF( IF( {Died}, {Died}, TODAY() ), {Birthday}, ‘years’)) It works but not perfectly.

I took a snapshot of a base to update a new month that I was using to scan and validate our inventory with over 5000 records. I tried to create a new record on my ipad to scan a barcode to update the record, but it kept crashing and kicking me out of airtable. I finally had to go to the original base which was a month older to add these new records to capture the data. Anybody have a clue on why this is happening?

Hello, Is it possible to make a push-notification pop up on the APP icon, even when the APP is not open, like happens for emails and other chat apps? (see attached picture ) as written in the guide “These alerts are delivered through email, mobile push notifications and the bell-shaped notification icon in the app” (see screenshot) Unless I overlooked something, this bell-shaped notification icon is ONLY visible if I have the have the app open. It would be very useful to have it visible on the APP icon, ALSO when the app is NOT open. Many thanks ! Leonardo

Hello Airtable community! I’ve created a table to keep track of a list of background extras on a film. The way the columns are currently set up is as follows: [Character Number] [First Name] [Last Name] [Character] [Scene] [Shoot Day] and so on. Each person is given a character number, and right now I have that column’s field as Auto-number. We already have records input for all characters that will be in the film, and just need to fill in names. The problem is that some people will have multiple characters assigned to them and we don’t know which people or which characters yet. If possible, I’d like to find a formula to assign a subletter to a record’s [Character Number] when a [First Name] and [Last Name] are input into a record that match an already existing one. For example: This is how the list would look before a new person is input 001-----MIKE--------WALLACE-----REPORTER 002-----SONYA-----PARKS---------PROTESTOR

I am trying to capture data from Google Analytics with the web clipper and I can’t get the CSS selector to work. I’ve copied the CSS selector from dev tools in chrome. I’ve also tried simply one class name from something I know is unique. None of this worked. I had an idea that it wasn’t working because the text is within a td or a div and not a normal text tag like a or p or span. I tried the class of something in a span tag and it worked. How can I get it to work with something like a td? Open up GA and all of the data is within a table and td’s. I tried div.className and td.className, the full selector and just the single class. I can’t get it to pull. EDIT: I just realized that all of this data is within an iframe on GA - so therefor impossible to pull with the extension. Anyone find a work around?

I am collecting names and photos for a memorial. I have created a form view and embedded on my website. When I use the form form the website everything works fine and the information appears in the grid. But when other people do it nothing comes up. I am desperate as this is a sensitive situation where we need these images and stories for a memorial this week. Please help!

Can we add a checkbox that allowed “Same As Requestor Name” and “Same as Requestor Email " for the “Requestor Name” to be copied in “Recipient Name” and “Requestor Email” to be copied in “Recipient Email”? I tried automations but didnt work as couldnt figure the mapping of from field to be copied. Thanks

Looking to dynamically pull a specific record from Table 1 to Table 2 based on date. In other words Table 1 has a list of names and dates. Table 2 has the daily meal; what we’re eating everyday. I want to pull what we’re eating everyday (Table 2) into Table 1 by date for each person. I think linked records is the way to do it but I can’t tie the record it pulls from Table 2 into Table 1 by the date. Is there a way around this? I’ve looked in the community but it seems like this is a missing feature of airtable and hasn’t been addressed by the devs yet. Simply putting the daily meal from Table 2 into Table 1 isn’t possible due to other metadata in Table 1 that isn’t relevant to this; just simplifying the example for this post. TYIA
