I am looking for an extension or integration that will allow me to chart data within a record and compare it to data in another record. For Example if record a contained the following data 1,2,3,4,5 I might get a plot of that data on the y axis with a standard x axis which might be 6,7,8,9,10 etc The second record might have the data 2,4,6,8,10 that would appear as y data points and again the standard x axis would be used. Please do not tell me to turn the table sideways this would not work for numerous reasons. Here is a very small example of the data I would like to plot i Wishon S2S Blue 45 A Wood 1 808 839 853 831 789 Wishon S2S Blue 45 A Wood 2 784 823 837 831 829 The text in bold is the record name and the remainder is data. The record name would identify the line and the data would be plotted as data points where the x axis would be labeled 6,7,8,9, etc

Hi, I am using Airtable as our database and CRM. Is anyone else doing this? These are the “user stories”: When I click on a contact to send email, open a window where I can select from a template, customize, and then click send. Sending should send through my gmail account If I receive a response, it should go into Airtable The contact should then be added to my Lemlist for follow-ups based on the Template selected Thanks! How do I get my projects (which is a primary field), to be linked to my tasks records? For some reason when I link two tables, they do not appear on the table to be linked. Here is the project tab, with the projects being the primary field Here is the Tasks field where the project field should be linked to I add the linked “tasks” field from the Tasks table And the linked field from the Projects table does not show up in the Tasks Table

I have a a base that has a set IDs (600+ unique IDs). I need to update their status’s weekly but the report to update has over 9000+ IDs. I only want to update my 600 without adding any other records to it. Is that possible with the CSV import extension?

I’m trying to create a field (Bulletins) that will return one of three values, based on the presence of one of three phrases in a record’s long text field. Basically: If Comments contains Advance Notice, then populate Bulletins field with Advance Notice If Comments contains Time Sensitive, then populate Bulletins with Time Sensitive If Comments contains Update, then populate Bulletins with Update I’ve tried a couple configurations to get it to work and can’t quite get there. Any help would be much appreciated!

We use Airtable to “process” company data (ie. add additional information about a prospect). I have interns enter a view called “Data Processing” where each row represents a company, and there are several fields for them fill out before clicking a checkbox to mark the row as complete. Each intern has their own Airtable login, so I’m wondering what’s the best way to track “companies processed per intern?” My first thought was to create a multiple select field called “Processed By” where they would select their name from the list, thus marking the company as processed by them, but that seems a bit tedious and error prone. Is there a way to automatically populate a formula field with this information? Such as “capture who the last editor was within a certain view?” Or “who checked the checkbox in the 'Data Processing view?” Another similar example: the interns must write “icebreakers” for companies as well. Hello, it is possible to use the Sumproduct formula for Tier Pricing in Airtable? I am trying to calculate the revenue for a marketing agency and it´s based on tiers depending on the total amount of media spend, in Excel it looks like this, example: =(SUMPRODUCT(–(sum($D205)>={0,99999,200000,9999999}),sum($D205)-{{0,99999,200000,9999999}},{0.2,-0.025,-0.025,-0}))

I am trying to filter my Rollup sum value by like items identified in the record but the conditional rollup option only gives me static filter conditions that would apply to all records, not the specific ‘Component Name’ that is in the record I am trying to rollup. The Rollup function works great for summing the batch quantities for Rack R3, but I have 3 different types of items on Rack R3 and I need to filter the Rollup to the record ‘Component Name’. Note: Batches are created whenever inventory is added or subtracted from the Rack.

Hello all. I have a quick question about scripting: is it possible to run a base sync using a script? I’d like to create a button on an interface I’m working on to run a sync, so that the users don’t have to go back to the base to run a sync. Is this something that’s possible, and if so, could you point me in the direction of how to make it happen? Thank you!

Is it possible to lock some tables under the same base which not everyone can view

I am working to build an Airtable base that allows employees to request paid time off (PTO) from their managers via Airtable form. The form requests the start date and end date of PTO. Ideally, from there, I’d have a field that populates the number of days PTO amounts to MINUS weekends and company holidays. I’ve used a workday_diff formula, but I have to update the holidays listed each year manually. Is there a way to use the workday_diff formula that automatically updates the holiday dates each year so they don’t have to be manually updated?

When I try deleting a record, it says “Unable to delete record. This table is configured so nobody can delete records”. Might it be something an administrator set? I duplicated the base and its still not allowing me to delete. Any suggestions?

I want to use an Airtable form for a program sign in. I have previously collected emails, etc, for most attendees. It would be great if they enter their name and then the address I have pops up with a “Is this correct” question. I tried just doing a simple form where it asks their name, but it shows nothing more. I would like to not make people re-enter info. Thanks.

Hi all Hope all well. I am working on a touring exhibition of 100+ objects. I am having custom crates made for each object before they travel. There will be approx 40 crates in total. I’d like to pop a QR code on each crate, which the crew can scan to take them to the relevant Airtable page so they can see notes / contents without opening crate - they can also check it in / out. Does anyone have any recommendations for a QR code generator which will create a link to an Airtable URL? There are loads out there - so a recommendation would be good if possible. Thanks, Andrew

Sendgrid Essentials program is fine for mass emails, but useless if you need to have all records delivered. The Sendgrid Essentials program puts you into a shared IP/Server pool with up to thousands of other users. If there is a spammer in the bunch, all users suffer. I cannot send a single, one-off email to aol, yahoo, or comcast as my assigned IP is blocked by most ESPs and blacklisted by spam services. Sendgrid will not allow switching of assigned IPs, so the service is useless. Airtable support only suggest using automations. Are there any other ways of sending emails other than using automations with jury rigged triggers?

I have a really big complicated thing I want to do, but I am trying to break it down into smaller problems. I think I have many parts that I don’t quite know how to do, but we’ll start with this one. Big picture: We currently use a spreadsheet of expenses and that spreadsheet also has columns which calculate how much of each expense is allocated to each of 3 fixed/known people, according to a predefined split with each person’s allocation being in a fixed column for that person. I want to convert this to Airtable and make the people part table driven with the People table listing the person, and their allocation percentage: Person 1, .5 Person 2, .4 Person 3, .1 So if there are Expenses: Item 1, 100 Item 2, 200 Item 3, 300 Then I want to have a table or view that ultimately gives me: Person 1, 300 50 + 100 + 150 Person 2, 240 40 + 80 + 120

Hello all, Been using Airtable as a personal budget manager for a while now and I’m trying to tidy it up a bit more. I have a few sheets, Income, Expenses and Individual Overview. Inside of the Individual Overview I have Person_1 and Person_2. Inside of Income I have the multiple income sources and I link Person_1 and Person_2. Now where it gets hairy is inside of expenses; I list all the monthly expenses and link Person_1 and Person_2, though there are some line items we have that require us to split the bill where there are other items we do not. For example, we can link both Person_1 and Person_2 as responsible for Rent, Groceries, Electricity (split expenses) and also link them to Gas, Student Loans, Spending Money (individual expenses). When I do a rollup inside of Individual Overview, I’d like to be able to designate those split expenses to have it allocating the total income towards the appropriate amount of the bills that are due.

Hello Everyone, i have question about access and permissions for team members. we have 1 base which is the main , this base include manty tables , is it possible to share only 1 or 2 tables with team member ? because i didn’t find how , when i share the base the team can see everything else in that base . I have $32 in airtable credits and would like to use these to upgrade one of my bases to the pro plan for a month ($24 per month billed monthly). As I am basically paying for a second pro trial using referral credits (unfortunately I’ve already squandered my pro trial), I am not comfortable putting in my credit card details until I am sure that the extra features (specifically, Blocks) are worthwhile for my use case. Is there any way to upgrade your account after the pro trial using only referral credit (I have plenty) and without a credit card? (Also as a bit of background: I transferred my personal credit to the base I was trying this out on, and only realised that this isn’t possible when I received “Your card number is incomplete” on the upgrade page even though the charge is $0). I am putting task items into a schedule and assigning People who will work together to get the task done. The task is one line in the Schedule table. I have linked to the People table (fk_People) and then linked multiple people, depending on who is going to be working on the task. I made a lookup field from the People table so only their first names show in the field (Name_F). Thus - if I have assigned Trevor and Matt to the task, their names show up as Trevor, Matt in the lookup field. This is what I want to show up in the formula field. I have made a formula field to bring together the name of the task and the first names of the people assigned to work together: Name_Task & " - " & Name_F My problem is that the formula returns the Name_F lookup so that it looks like this TrevorMatt instead of Trevor, Matt I must be missing something - but I cannot figure out where to look to get the answer.

Hi, we have a new collaborator that can’t add or edit any airtabels in the workspace. He has creator and editor permissions. Very frustrating, how do we fix it? We’ve tried logging in and out, as well as adding and removing him as a creator. Thank you!

Hi everyone, needs some help to work out a probably common challenge for noobs like me. Base setup Two tables, Product and Tags. A product can have many tags. Tag is a field in Product. It’s set to allow linking multiple tags. Challenges Basic: Create a form view to add a product where user can add multiple tags. Both tables need to be updated upon submission, and it’s fields linked. Advanced: Show in the form a multiselect showing existing tags and allow to create new ones, upon submission new ones will be added to Tags table linked to the corresponding Product. Is it possible to create something like this? Thank you all

Hey Airtable Community, I need some help with triggering the right filters based off a clients start date. We are currently wanting the client to be moved into a 30 Day Check In View between 30 and 59 Days into their program, a 60 Day Check In View between 60 and 89 days into their program, and a 90 Day Check In View between 90 and 120 Days into their program. Does anyone know the right filter combination to make this happen? All the ones I’ve attempted so far are not populating as intended.

Hello, so ive been doing this inventory app for my company and kinda hit a roadblock, so ive created a sales table where a sales record is created with a date, order no., products, price of each product, quantity, discount and a total but what i want to accomplish is that when i put multiple items into a single sales record like in the last record in this screenshot i want to be able to put how many of each product in that sales record were sold so that the total comes out to be the correct amount
