Hey All, I’m curious how often Airtable actually rolls out updates? I know it’s a smaller company, but it seems like several of the “product requests” that have been posted many times, are now several years stale. Anyone have any insight if we’re likely to see these features added? How often are they adding features & rolling out updates? The specific features that are bugging me today are: Multi-page Page Designer Customization of forms (section headers, better layout options, etc) Obviously everyone has different needs, and I’m sure the AT team is doing what they can. I’m just curious about their process. I ask for two reasons: I really like the basic product here, but if it doesn’t continue to grow, I can do all of these things in other, cheaper products. I see a lot of pushing towards outside developers to use the API to build additional features. That’s cool and all, but I’d like to think that Airtable would be incorporating the best features into its core services, rather

Hi! Please I need help understanding how to filter linked records when populating a record in a table. I have a table with some groups of professionals, like Group 1, Group 2 and so on. In another table, I have some themes, which will be the subject of some classes. In the class table, I would like to allocate at a specific date and time, a group and specify the topic that will be presented to them. I would like to present as options only the groups that have not yet had all the themes. And, after choosing the group, present only the themes that the chosen group has not yet had. How can I provide this kind of filter using linked records? Thank you very much in advance.

Hey I’m coming from spreadsheets and wanted to start using Airtable, but the first thing I noticed was that I couldn’t use shift+scroll to navigate horizontally. My friend doesn’t have this issue on his Mac, but I’ve found dozens of other people with the same issue as far back as 2017 but no one has shared a solution. Any insight on the cause of this bug/how to fix it? I can’t use this if basic navigation is broken. (Using Chrome on Windows 10)

Hi, I use a script to update a field {TypeForm} by concatenating 4 fields {Rang},{TypeQuestion},{Question},{Option}. {Rang} is Single line text / {TypeQuestion} is Single select / {Question},{Option} are Rich text When i execute the following script: with these data: I get the following result: Why first column values {Rang} like 1., 2., 3. etc.are not properly transferred in {TypeForm} as we see 1. , 1., 1, Thanks a lot for your help. Hi everyone, I am using the Web Clipper to get some information about restaurants in my area. I managed to automatically get the name, website, ratings, etc. The only element I do not manage to get is the phone number. From what I found on Google, it seems possible (some tools offer that), but hard to do (people mention they needed to a xpath). Has anyone managed to get the phone number on Google Maps? If yes, can I know what CSS selector you selected? Thanks in advance!

Hi! I run a recruitment business and I currently have a table for ‘Jobseeker sign ups’ and ‘Open Projects’. When I get a new ‘Open Project’, I send an HTML email to notify jobseekers about the project. Apart from referencing the jobseeker’s Name and Surname in the HTML code, the rest of the information about the ‘Open Project’ is hard coded. I wanted to know whether there is a way to include data about the ‘Open Project’ in the email HTML even though the Sendgrid block is set to send emails to a view in the ‘Jobseeker sign ups’ table. Ideally when I get an open project, I would like to generate an email template containing the information from the fields that exist in the Open Project table, so I can notify the jobseekers about the details of this Open Project. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi there, I want to keep different people and their statements/quotes on different topics. My idea was to create a table with all the people and their general data and then for each topic open a separate table with all the people and their quotes and statements. I was looking for a way to synchronize the first column of one table with the first column of another table, but I only found ways to link other columns. I also want that if I have 100 people in my first table and I open a table for a new topic, that I have the possibility to automatically add all 100 records with all people (just their names). Hi guys, I created a list of ‘user IDs’ on airtable. Using Telegram bot I would like that when a person types /takeID the bot searches through Search Record in my list and issues a negative or positive response. Can you tell me where I have gone wrong? Question if anyone received the following error with a form submission. This error has not occurred with this form for a few weeks until the last few days. The data is still processed though into AirTable however, because of this error the end user doesn’t know if it is processing correctly or not. Only changes that were made since in the last week was AirTable API connection through FiveTran to BigQuery.

Hi - I recently noticed that the URLs for attachments in my base are ‘sometimes’ exported with additional parameters that looks something like this: &userId=usrRGFsp5k3BVKxoz&cs=5df56hubdtrt3673b79d I’d prefer just the basic URL, and am also concerned that exposing the UserID is a security flaw - since I’ve shared these asset links, usually images, on a public platform without inspecting the URL closely. I am using the API (via pyairtable) to get these URLs. Sometimes the extra parameters are included, and sometimes they’re not. I haven’t been able to ascertain what is causing the different outcomes. Has anyone experienced this, or had similar issues? Thanks!

Hi team, Here’s the context 2 fields: Scheduled date: A Date field with ISO format, 24h format, it includes Time and uses GMT for all collaborators Date validation: A formula field that runs the following code: IF( AND( {Scheduled date}, NOW() >= {Scheduled date} ), "Ready", "In Review" ) Problem: When Scheduled date = Today, the formula returns Ready, ignoring the time. For instance: Case A Scheduled date = 2022-08-23 18:00 GMT NOW() = 2022-08-23 19:00 GMT The formula returns Ready :x: Case B Scheduled date = 2022-08-24 18:00 GMT NOW() = 2022-08-23 19:00 GMT The formula returns In Review :white_check_mark: Could it be that NOW() doesn’t care about time? or is it using a different Time Zone?

Unfortunately input.textAsync does not allow a default value. Anyone have a workaround for this? E.g., You can code a default value if user enters nothing, BUT…there’s no way to enter nothing (i.e., requires user to enter a value before proceeding).

I’m looking for a solution that allows us to view a large number of records in the same was as groups in views work, but a lot larger in height. Something like this, assuming that “procedure” and “results” have lot of information: Group A Procedure A.1 Result A.1 Procedure A.2 Result A.2 Group B Procedure B.1 Result B.1 Procedure B.2 Result B.2 I looked into Page Designer, but it only shows one record at a time. Any ideas?

Hey All, I have a question about filters. Basically, I have records that have start and end time fields. To keep things neat and tidy, I have the main view set to only show records with a start time of “On or After Today.” This works until we hit 8PM ET (12AM GMT), when Airtable decides that, internally, it is the next day because it is on GMT time. This is an issue because evening events disappear from view with this filter. Is there a way to set up a filter so that these records will remain until it is the next day in terms of ET instead of GMT? Thank you!

I want to avoid replicate the same base filter 10X times on the same view I could not find a combination for that. Why is it limited ?

I have a table with all our deals that contains the following information Total amount of deal Start date End date I would like to split this up to a monthly revenue per deal for invoicing and reporting. Most of these deals have a duration of 1 year, but sometimes less. So for example, one row might look like this: 6000 1 January 2022 31 December 2022 I would then like to be able to build a report that has for columns (like a pivot table) for all the months from January to December and then an amount of 500 for this deal. Something like this is fairly easy in Excel, but I’m not quite sure how to build this in Airtable.

We are trying to automate email for master data with claim id with details from child database for same claim id - as detailed data resides in seperate child data base i am unable to create view , as claim id is dynamically getting changed for respective claim id in master table where trigger mail condition happens e.g. in master i have claim id - 100 and amount - 600 nd in child i have three records with claim id 100 and amount 100,200,300 digest on find records - condition picks up data but email rendering order is record id and so not put up as in order expected it is suggested to use find records with view i tried to set view but it asks for condition which i am unable to put up experts are requested to guide on this solution and what i am missing to plug in thanks for your time

Hi, If you want to only embed Airtable extension with table in, how to do this? For the moment i see a link up to the right in the embed grid or gallery with the text “extionsions”. When i click on that, the extension can be viewed. Embed interface is also not possible?
