Hi, I’m trying to figure out calculating correct fiscal year since our company fiscal year starts from April: 4-6: Q1 7-9: Q2 10-12: Q3 1-3: Q4 And I currently have below formula generating value from cell {ETA} but getting the YEARS correctly is tricky. Any ideas? My organization (10-ish folks) is having problems buying into the value of more diligently managing contacts in Airtable. Airtable has been made the primary technology in the org, along with the Google ecosystem. However, it’s highly likely that a good % of the org is not updating info in a timely manner nor adding new contacts. I’m interested in discussing any good hacks that might allow the team to more easily initiate contact data updates in the flow of the vast majority of tools they use (gmail, gdocs & zoom). I had one idea to set up an automation involving Make and Airtable, where a team member can bcc an internal gmail address when communicating with a person (contact) they want to add/update info for. Make could parse the info from the email header fields and add a record in an Airtable base. This record would kick off an automation that would look for a contact matching the email in the contacts table, and then do something to begin the process of collect

Greetings Airtable Community! I have a base with 6 tables that is shared with two collaborators. The most frequently used “master” table—named Events—is at the far left of the upper tab structure. Each time I open the base, this “master” table is selected. However, when my collaborators open the base, another less important table is selected. Is there a way to force the base open to a specific table? Thank you!

DAK please whether possible to open more than 1 base at a time. Currently (using the tab feature on my browser, Safari) I am opening AT in two tabs and then open 1 base in each so that I can switch between them for my purpose (which is to copy and paste content from one base to the redundant other base so that it can be deleted ). (I know about sync bases but that’s not what I want to do.)

Hello, I’ve synchronized several bases in a main one. Now, one of these synchronized bases won’t evolve, so I’d like to merge it in the main one … is it possible ? I mean, I don’t need synchronization for this particular base, and I want the main base to show both merged records and synchronized ones. Is it possible, please ? Thanks in advance for your help. Hello guys, I am having a problema on my sync bases where 1 of the sync column is giving wrong number in the sync field. Here I leave some photos to see more illustrated: Baseline Base Sync Base and I already deleted some of the registers in the baseline base but in the sync that continue of this base, the register is still there! I use the app and have a list of about 44 people on my airtable list. However, I need to number them in order to keep track of the numbers of people that we’re adding on a regular basis. There does not seem to be a way of adding a column that numbers each line. Any suggestions?

I’m using Jotform, collecting payments with their Stripe integration, and want to get all the payment info into AT with the AT/Jotform integration. I have everything working EXCEPT - Jotform doesn’t give me the option of uploading the payment amount itself. Student have a choice of paying $65, $25, or $0 on the form. I need to upload what they actually paid into AT. See image - the “choose” field is grayed out. The “choose” field results do show up in the Jotform table, so I don’t understand why it doesn’t allow me to send them to AT. I tried configuring the AT field in different ways (single select, mult. select, short text, long text) - didn’t make any difference. Thank you for your help!

I’m creating a trip-prep checklist product and want it to be as user-friendly as possible. This means having the ability to hide entire categories that don’t apply to a person’s trip. (Specific example: I have a field/column for “category.” One of those categories is “swim.” I want a person to be able to hide all the swim line items with a single click.) I don’t want to give my users in-depth instructions on how to hide and filter. I’d like users to answer a series of simple yes/no questions, and NOs would result in related records being hidden in all the views. What are my options to achieve this? Thanks in advance!

Has anyone successfully integrated Airtable with D365, where any edits or updates to the records in Airtable successfully updates to D365? I’ve created the integration and initial tests work fine for first-time inserts, but when edits are made in Airtable, the record in D365 is not updated - rather - a new record is created with the updated info. If you know of a solve, would be great if you could share. Thanks in advance

I would like to be able to have a list that leads into a list, I cant figure this one out Single select one would be Audio Gear and Video Gear, If I select audio gear, in the next single select drop down I would only like the Handheld mic, Lav and IFB options to be visible and nothing form the video gear category. I cannot get any of the barcdoes fonts in airtable ot work with my scanner (Inateck BCST-20) and the manufacturere is assuring me, after sending them a picture of the airtable barcode, they assure me that the code wont work at all. both code 39 and 128 , the fonts for these are a hoax. someone proove me wrong. The scanner manufacturer has been very helpful to proove to me that the airtbale fonts simply dont work. so what gives? Smartphone apps dont recognise any of them either. what is it im not getting? isnt this suppsoed to be able to print out a barcode?

I am responsible for billing regular users of our Village Hall on a monthly basis. Currently, I export the data from the billing system, reduce the number of columns to the pertinent, sort by Hirer and then by date and then subtotal booking fee by Hirer and I end up with a sheet like this: I have spent 3 or 4 days now trying to replicate this in Airtable, with no joy whatsoever. I have linked tables and tried to roll up, but I cannot figure out how to roll up for each hirer. The best I have managed is to group by hirer and manually copy the summarised price total to another sheet.

I’m evaluating using Airtable as a notes repository for my consultancy. We take a TON of notes (every meeting, every standup, every one-off conversation with more than two participants…). Some of these notes are for internal staff only, and some need to be shared with the client. We’re currently managing this information via Google Docs, but it’s quickly breaking down as notes docs proliferate. Airtable seems to provide a good solution in that I can model notes docs as records in a single database, and then provide filtered views of that database to specific clients based on the values of fields set on each record. That said, I’m running into a few blockers with the ergonomics of writing and viewing notes in the Airtable UI that I’m hoping to solve via integration. I recently installed airtable on a Samsung galaxy s4 and created a simple table with just a few records of data. Right after that the phone battery drained very quick, it lasted less then 50% of the normal time. After I uninstalled airtable, with no other change to the phone, the battery use was back to normal. Did anyone experience this? I can’t find any settings in airtable to limit background activities. But I don’t think there even should be, or?

Hello! I am using Airtable for our workflow and project forecasting. We have a view that calculates the time in which it took to complete all jobs in the last 45 days, grouped by the separate categories each of those jobs fell under (see image below). I want to use the Avg. amount of time (calculated in weeks) as a figure in a formula to create the installation date of a job in that same category sold today. Is there a way to do this? I have attempted the separate table, rollup field solution, however, the problem is is that the data being calculated by this view is dynamic. Jobs are added (as they are completed) throughout the day and some jobs that age out of the 45 day range that this table is calculating fall off. The rollup field (in my experience) only grabs the jobs that are done at the time of creation of the rollup field. Anybody else been able to do this? Thank you in advance!

i have two tables that are linked. People and Service. Many different People Records can be linked to one Service Record. Additionally, one People Record can be linked to more than one Service Record. Service Records include date fields- Start & End. i would like to display a list of all of the People Records who are linked to any Service Records that fall within a specific date range. i want the list to show each People Record individually, with some key information from both their People Record and the associated Service Record. (e.g. from People Record- name, cell phone, emergency contact; from Service Record- country, start date, end date). i tried creating a junction table, but when i used the fancy junction table script i realized that was a big mistake. i also tried building an automation that triggers when a Service Record enters a view (filtered for the date range i’m aiming at), it creates a record in a different table and lists the people. Hello! I’m having trouble with a formula, DATEADD({date}, 2, ‘days’) works perfectly but I need to add time as well specifically. For example, a record was created on Saturday at 8pm, the formula should logged a date on Monday at exactly 7am. We have team A who creates record during weekends and those records are sometimes being created in weekends. Team B will only be able to check those records during Monday to Friday and their scores/metrics are being affected in our report. We wanted to create an automatic field that will logged those records on weekends to Monday at 7am. I think a formula won’t work on this issue and scripting would be better but I’m not good at coding.
