Hi everyone, I’m looking for a rapid way to view and categorize images - something that can be done with keyboard inputs, ideally. I’m not talking about annotating parts of an image, but instead being able to select from a Single Select field, and to do so quickly. This is being used for image classification for building a training dataset. I am currently using an Interface and also customized cards (which at least allows for keyboard scrolling between records but is still clunky). Thanks for any tips!

Hi everyone, I have been working with AirTable for three month now and I have some intermediate knowledge about data bases. I was wondering if it is possible to generate a report that expose the changes log for the entire table after a manual sync of that. For instance, this report should say row 1 changed from XXX to YYY, or like the activity panel that shows in red what was eliminated and green what was added. Hi Support and Everyone, I’m looking at creating dependent drop down lists and limiting the options for people to add other options, like how excel does it, but it seems I can’t do it in Airtable. A/ Dependent Drop Down Lists 1/ Example of a dependent drop down list A drop down list of Fruit => Select Apples => Drop down list = Granny Smith, Gala, Fuji, etc. 2/ Excel Way Using the INDIRECT Function, we create lists with associated lists. 3/ Airtable Way? Is there a simpler way to do this on air table? I am new in AirTable and just added the script “Create records for multiple templates” that’s available in the Marketplace to my base, Is there a better description anywhere of what each field is? A video or anything explaining a little better how to setup the script? What each field is? That is just VERY confusing to me at least.

Hello. I have built several Interfaces from a particular Base in my Workspace. However, I need to move that particular Base to a new Workspace. When I move this base will the associated Interfaces also move or will I have to recreate them all again from scratch (shudder!)?

Hey everyone, I have developed a simple formula that use Google to translate English from French (or what ever language you want) by pressing a button from an original URL inserted in any table. But it seamed that Airtable is blocking the translation from Google Translate… Maybe I’m paranoiac, and it’s just my IP blocked but as Airtable is not available in any other language than English right now it would be really senseless to do such a thing right? My formula works on other sites, so it is not on Google end, could someone explain why it is blocked please? Hi all! I’m on a fairly time crunched project and am stuck on solving a problem. Specifically, I am fetching data from an API using DataFetcher that is a table of products that have columns with “tags” for the product. There are a total of six columns with different tag names in each column. What I’m hoping to do is in a separate table entitled “Tags” to a have a column key where each record is a unique value of any tags in those six columns in the other table. Ideally, this would also update automatically when datafetcher runs and updates the other source table and new tags are added. Is this feasible? Many thanks in advance for any consideration.

Hi All I’m wondering how we can “sell” access to Airtable Interfaces and Bases. Basically with interfaces, automations, apps etc… Airtable is able to cover 99% of business need in terms of internal tools, dashboard, client portals, collaboration tool etc… Many people are now willing to pay to get the right bases and interfaces without creating it (like everything). The problem is that it’s difficult to sell what you created, till now I’ve found those option Add the client as collaborator. Which is not feasible cause he can export the whole base seeing formula and custom code. Sharing the base. Again the clients can export everything and resell what he has bought. Make a cover of Airtable with Softr, Stackr, etc… Which is possible, but again now the standards are quite high, so the only way is to create something similar to Airtable interface, which is almost impossible in the no code area. I’m just starting to learn how to link different tables and databases. I have a set of tags (or categories, if you prefer) that I use for different things, across multiple databases and tables. Is it possible to have it in one single place (=table, database) and synchronize / link it to all the tables I need it (so I don’t have to rebuild it every time)? More precisely, I would like to synchronize (or use data from) a field, not a table: I created a table in a database, with two fields: a “Tags” field and a “Categories” field. With, in multiple select and multiple options, all the categories and tags I use regularly. And I would like to be able to use these “template” fields (sometimes Tags, sometimes Categories) in the tables I create in other databases, among other custom fields. I would love to be able to share a base with a customer of ours where they can view only a specified amount of fields ( specified by myself - currently can’t do this ), and allow editing only within a specific field, specified by myself ( currently not possible ). Thirdly, allowing the customer to make use of the above two features, coupled with allowing them to comment would be really great ( this allows for notifications which is really useful ). Put simply, our need as a business is sharing a base with a customer where they can view only specific fields, have editing access to a specific field of my choosing and be allowed to comment ( which allows for notifications ), would be such a great help. I have spent hours trying to figure this out and researching but my findings tell me these aspects together aren’t possible. Please could airtable make this possible? I love every other aspect of airtable and wouldn’t want to start looking at alternative platforms.

Hi! I’m syncing data from outside (trello) and one of the fields I get is the List ID which I think I need to link to a table that pulls up the List Name associated with the ID. My question is, can I make Airtable read that Looked Up Field as a Single Select Field somehow so I can reproduce the List Name as a Kanban board? I know I can do this manually, but would like it to be automatic as I pull in data often. Thanks ahead for any advice!

My source table has 3 less records than the synced table. What are possible causes and how do I find the extra records in the synced table.

My table provides data which I need to export into CSV and then import into an online application. My text shows line breaks (using the “\n” code in the text in Airtable). The issue is this code may not be interpreted by online applications that do support HTML or plain text format. Some online forms do interpret it as pre-formatted text, but most of them don’t. So text that shows with line breaks in Airtable (thanks to the “\n” code) will show only as a merged text when imported and all is in one line without any breaks. This was asked here previously with recommendation to add HTML or CSS code. Adding the regular line break code can be messy if you have concatenated formulas for output text coming from different fields. I would have to add <__br/> and <p> </p> after every individual block of text in Airtable concatenated formula. Hi, we’re a coalition of national organizations that has built an accelerator program for 90+ frontline community organizations seeking grant funding and organization-building assistance. We’d like to create a portfolio for each org that tracks data and updates, as well as aggregate data across the orgs for our own decision-making and reporting. We also will need to link to other data sheets. For example, connecting an org to a TA provider that serves their location and need. I’m looking for advice on how we might be able to set this up quickly. Also, most orgs have shoestring budgets and do not have airtable. any solutions and ideas are welcome!
