Hi community, I have a Base for customers that is shared by several other bases using the Synced Table feature. Is it possible for linked records to be shown in the original table, as they are with the synced table? Example: I have a table of contracts with a linked customers field. I can see all of the contracts for a given customer when I open the synced customer entry, but it doesn’t show up in the original customers Base Thanks everyone!

Hi there! I am trying to devise a way to send an email with a recap of our sold inventory from the past week using Zapier. The Zap will be triggered upon a new record in a view. (Our sales manager will Audit the list from the past week, then use a checkbox to say it’s ready to go). Obviously, the number of units sold will change week to week, so I can’t use a static HTML table in my email. Ultimately, I’d love to end up with the same design I have in Page Designer - see below screenshot. (side note: I will be ecstatic on the day that Page Designer/other blocks integrate with Zapier - it would solve SO MANY of my problems if I could attach a page from Page Designer as a PDF to an email or to a record). Any ideas as to what sort of action steps I need to use before I build my email template? Thanks so much!

Hello everyone! I’ve created a calendar view (with correct dates) and shared the link to my Google Calendar. For some reason, the entry in my Google calendar is displaying 1 day late. It should display today September 25th and instead, it’s September 26th!

I am using the free version of airtable, just so you know before moving forward. I know you can simply look at your settings and whatnot and see the number of records is in your base. However, I want to display that number on a website that will change as the record count does. For example, I am running a database that can be viewed by the public. I want a message on my website that states something like, “number here objects in the database and counting!” I don’t know how to do script or anything so I figure I could use a COUNT formula or something and display that in a field, then embed that airtable onto the webpage. I know there is a count field function, but I am not wanting to count the number of linked records (you have to have linked records for the count category to work).

I have a central Airtable repository where records are managed. That repository is synced up to a second base. In that second base, whenever a record is added to the central repository, a new record is created in the second base in a tab separate from the synced data. All this works well. But what I’d like to achieve is the following: When new records are added to the central repository, I automatically assign them a Pending status. A new record is created in the second base with that status based on the sync. But when I update the status to Complete in the central repository, the already created record in the second base retains the Pending status, even though the central repository and synced data display the updated Complete status. Any thoughts on how I can resolve this? The automation I’ve set up to add a new record to the 2nd base whenever added to the central repository is demonstrated in the below screenshot.

Does anyone experience time zone issues when syncing date/time fields across bases? In one of my bases, I have many date/time fields that I’m syncing over to a different base. Those date/time fields have GMT selected in the original base. However, when these fields are synced across to different base, those fields became single line text fields instead. Thus, I have to use DATETIME_PARSE on them, so I can perform calculations on them later on. The following is an example of how I parse a synced date/time field: DATETIME_PARSE({Synced Date}, “M/D/Y h:ma”) I am in California, and I found out that my newly created fields may sometimes jump 7 hours forward or backward whenever AirTable syncs any new data, so I know that it is the time zone that is causing the issue. Hello All I work in the Marketing Dept and we have all day events in AT as records. After creating a calendar view and adding the iCal file to Outlook, these events show up as busy in the Outlook calendar blocking our entire day preventing us from scheduling a meeting with others. Is there a way to add the Calendar view to Outlook where the records don’t show up as busy as a default. Thanks

I need some help to do something… 1/I have a column B, with a currency field. 2/I have a column C, with % field. 3/I havr a column D, of number. 4/I have a column E, of % field. 5/I have a columm F, of currency. I need percentage of column C and E automatically. So if : Column B has a total of $100. IF I insert 10% into Column C. The column D should show me 90$. but IF i need to changes into Column D from 90 to 95$. then the column C shows me 5%. reflect both sides if i changed any value from column C and D. after that… Successive Discounts applied on column E. I insert 2% into colum E. Then column F will show me 88.2 (2% of 90 column D price) and the final price show me on column F. I.E. Hello Airtable Community! I’m creating a form for people to fill out. When I view the information, I don’t want to view it in a grid (the style that looks like Excel/Google Sheets). I want to view each person’s entry like a card or face sheet and then when I click on them, I can see more information. Also… is it possible to share this information with my client by sending them a link? Thank you!

Hello users! I have a budget model with a field that automatically calculates state taxes based on the price I include for a given product. In some cases, though, I am not charged any taxes, and my budget doesn’t allow me to leave it as “$0.00” - How can I adjust it so that I can modify the value to $0 when no taxes are charged? Hi all, I have an iPad and laptop that will be displaying a simple Airtable form for people to line up at an orientation event and physically input their details (name, email, mobile) to sign up for our newsletter. I have selected the option to redirect to the same form via its URL (see attached). While this is almost what we need, it still isn’t instantaneous and takes a few seconds (usually 3-5 seconds). Our alternative is Google Forms as it has this instant refresh feature, but I would prefer to stick with AirTable’s form rather than adding another step in the process. Does anyone have any suggestions to refresh the form instantly after one person hits the submit button? This could be a browser extension (but I have only ever seen timed auto-refresh, which is not ideal if someone is in the middle of inputting their details). Hi, I was experimenting with different ways to share a table with a client. I was quite alarmed when I tried “Download CSV”, and the attachments, many containing private/sensitive data, were uploaded to publicly accessible URLs by default without my consent. Is no one else as concerned as I am about this default behaviour? To my mind, unless explicitly stated otherwise, export/download should be exclusively to the local device. Uploading to public URLs should be opt-in. As it functions now, Download CSV is actually “Download CSV and Upload Attachments to the Public Web.” This is a security issue, especially since the user is not given the option to turn it off or even warned about it. Can someone please show me how to wipe/delete these attachments from the web? Thanks, SK

Hi community, I wish to copy-paste my field outside of Airtable in programs such as WhatsApp, Notes or Notion… However, the pasted text ends up with unwanted quotation marks at the beginning and at the end whereas in Airtable there are not visible quotations marks. I am trying to use Integromat to send data from Squarespace to Airtable every time someone places an order. In general, this works very simply, BUT some of the information I need is not available when I try to map the fields in Integromat - specifically the information from the product form. I run an afterschool program where parents purchase the program in Squarespace and part of the checkout process is filling in a product form with their child’s name, age, interests, etc. so that I can group the kids into the right afterschool sections. Is anyone familiar with this type of thing? I am trying to avoid what I currently do which is download the order info for each “product” individually (different days, times and ages) which seems to be the only way I can get the product form info in a squarespace download, but I thought maybe I could identify the specific product first, then feed that to the “watch transactions” trigger and get the right info into Airtable, but everyt

I’ve got a table that lists our customers and who the primary contacts are at each. I’ve gone back and forth between (A) including the person’s name, email address, and phone number all in one cell and (B) that info in separate columns. I can see pros/cons with each approach and am interested in your thoughts/best practices. In approach A, I have the field type as long text, and it doesn’t look very elegant in the table view, as all the information gets jammed together (e.g. John Smith john.smith@domain 260-123-4567) Regardless of your thoughts about the first paragraph, is there a way to format the information so it looks nicer in the grid view.

Hello, in Page Designer I’m displaying linked records in table mode. A look-up of a single select column doesn’t display as a value but shows instead the ID of the single select value. I’m using a formula field to turn the single select column into a text string as a work around, but wondered whether this is this expected behavior?

I have a table for physical addresses and a formula field to convert linked records to an array. Below is an example of the array. “Main Residence: 123 Main, New York, NY 10001”, “Office: 789 Left Ave, 3b, New York, NY 10001”, “Vacation: 456 Right St, New York, NY 10001” How can I extract or leave only the address for the office? If there is an office, show the address and if not, leave the field blank.

I made a payment but did not link it to a workspace. The payment has gone through and the card has been debited. But, i did not realize it was unlinked. Don’t want to ‘lose out on subscription.’ Can you please guide me how to remedy this and link it to an existing or older workspace. Thanks
