Hi, I have a date/time field that is used as a field in an automated email using AT Automation. The field is correct in AT but when the email is received the filed is 1hr out. I’m sure it relates to GMT/BST but why doesn’t the filed appear in the body of the email with the same time? Is there anything I can to do to fix this? Regards Jason
Hi everyone, I’m currently running a lot of web dev projects that involve a lot of freelancers. I’m curious that is there any way that we can assign for those members when we assign tasks and they will receive a Lastpass log in(hide password) through their email automatically. And when they finish their work and the project mark as done. AirTable will automatically remove the LastPass login away. If there are any 3rd party app or integration that could help me with this. I’m open to investing in those as well. Thank you all in advance.

Is it possible to create linked Jira tickets from AirTable? Is it possible to update a Jira ticket from Airtable when a field is populated?
I setup a dashboard containing an Org Chart and Record List. Both apps are connected to views where a record contains a Button field. The button fields configured to Open URL and visible on the dashboard app. The buttons are visible fully functional when in a table view. However, the buttons are not active when viewed in a dashboard app. Clicking on the button within the dashboard app opens the record instead of executing the Open URL functionality programmed into the button. Once the record is open, the user can click on the button and it works from there. This confuses the users and its an extra step, not good UX. So far, I have one work-around: That is to use the Embed app to display a view containing the records with the button field. This works well for a list of records. However, there is no way to embed an Org Chart to obtain the same fuctionality. Would be great to hear from others who may a solution.
Anyone else noticing an update to newly created lookup fields? They now retain formatting and functionality of the source field. i.e single selects will have the correct color, and filtering options of the source select field. this seems like a huge update but I haven’t seen it mentioned anywhere so i thought I’d post. For reference, here is a screenshot of identical lookups, one newly created and one old
Hello, I’m building an overall company calendar and have created different views depending on the entry (event vs. product, etc.) I want to use the same date field in each view to link back to the Calendar view, and I’m curious if there is a way to have the same field appear in two different views but but with a different field title. For example, in my “Events” view, I want the name of the date field to be “Start Date”. I want to use the same field in my “Products” view, but I want the name instead to be “Due Date”. As it is right now, I’m just creating different date fields for each one and hiding the unused one in the other views. But means that within the Calendar view, there are several unscheduled records for the date fields that don’t apply to a certain entry (i.e., every event is listed as unscheduled for the “Due Date” field, and every product is listed as unscheduled for the “Start Date” field. Is there an easier way to do this entirely? Should I be creating different tabs fo
Hi Everyone Assuming I have the a ‘location address’ for each user, does anyone know of a methodology to return the number of users within a ‘X’ radius? For example. Of 1k users, I require a list of users who live within 5kms of a particular zip/post code. I’m assuming I’d need to use the Google Maps App plugin for AT but any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Stephen
I am looking for suggestions of available front-end interfaces for Airtable. There are a few limitations of Airtable’s own form view are: no customization (can’t have description (e.g “i” next to the field name to the expand the description info), can’t change layout of the fields…) [[POSTEDIT: can’t have custom names for fields… incorrect, you CAN have this in the Airtable Form View.]] no record edit function (just new record … yes I can do some tricks with Automation and linked fields to lookup field in the background but it would be ugly plus the linked field picker in the form view is limited… see my point 4) formula fields not showing (as view-only formula fields; I want to show the results of the a formula based on values I am entering in the form + if editing existing record, the values may be based on existing values for the record already saved in Airtable Linked field - record selection list - the list of records only shows the 1st field of the record once the form is
Hi, I’m desperately looking for formulas to extract multiple attachment URLs without being affected by Parenthesis or such in the filename. Airtable gives out Filename and file URL when referencing Attachment fields. I need a formula to extract multiple file URLs from there without being limited by parenthesis, commas and such. It is ok if there’s a limit on how many attachments/URLs can be pulled. 3 for example would be enough for the use case. I’ve looked through many existing threads, but they usually only provide the solution to the multi URLs or the special character problem. Not both combined. Would be awesome if someone could help.
Hey everyone, I am trying to create a formula that allows me to abbreviate the States, but for some reason it won’t let me. I believe I am doing it correctly. Within my table I have a lookup table where applicants can select their state but I can’t get the formula to abbreviate the field. I’ve attached an image for reference.
Hello! I am new to Airtable and have created my tables and have linked fields as follows: Customer Record Table: Customer Name field links to Orders Table: Customer Name field (look up). In the Form, I can select Customer Name but all it shows is the primary field identifier and not the customer name. Where am I going wrong?
I would like to automatically import a .png file (or any pic file type) to an Airtable table, from a Google Sheet cell, to a record’s ‘attachment’ field in the same Airtable table, based on what another Airtable field may contain (e.g. a selection from a single items list). So, if a user selects an option from a ‘single select’ field in an Airtable table, a designated picture from a google sheet populates for that same record in its ‘attachment’ field in the same Airtable table. What is the best way to go about this?
Hi everyone, I’m new to Airtable and databases in general. I’m trying to develop a system to match students and tutors, based on availability and other factors. For example: Student A: available Wednesday and Friday Tutor A: available Tuesday and Thursday Tutor B: available Thursday and Friday I want to be able to easily see that both Student A and Tutor B are available on Friday. I know how to create a “Multiple select” field for availability and set up a filter on each of my tables (“Students” and “Tutors”), but is there a way to filter both simultaneously? Thank you!
I have an invoice table that looks up prices from my inventory table. However, when I increase prices in my inventory table, all of my old invoices automatically inherit the newly increased prices. How do I keep my old invoices locked down to their old prices, for historical purposes? In other words, new prices should only affect new invoices moving forward… but should leave old invoices alone.
I made a Base that is meant to compile tables from various other bases. I’ve pulled in these tables and set up automatic sync. I would also like to create a Summary Table within this Base, and pull the records from these synced tables into this Summary Table. However, the “Lookup Field" I am trying to use for this Summary Table only allows me to pull linked records from one other table and not the multiple tables that I need. Can anyone suggest a workaround for this, or an app that might help?
Hi! I’ve created a form on Airtable and am trying to attach a PDF file using the Attachment field on the form. It uploads correctly; however, whenever I use the embed link to embed onto my website, the PDF file link is lost once I add it to my website. Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong? Thanks!
Hi, I’m sharing a form on social media where we’re asking for sign ups. It currently shows the Airtable image and logo and “Airtable: Organize anything you can imagine” in the Link Preview on Facebook and Twitter, but that doesn’t show the user an accurate picture of what’s in the link. Is there a way to customize the Twitter card/facebook mark up language so our own content appears in the link preview? Thanks, Kristin
I am creating a volunteer database. I have 100 unique positions in 10 different categories to fill. Ideally, I want to send a form to Volunteer, let them choose their category and then within category choose their specific job enter name, email phone and be done.
Hi, I would like to set up due dates in the simplest way and would like to be reminded in a selected time before. I have created the Due Dates tab, but I don’t know how to create a simple reminder, for example, a month before. Can anyone help me?
I’ve searched various threads for this answer and I’m still not sure if this is possible or not. I have Table 1 (let’s say) that has a formula field which constructs a url from another field and the record id. It looks like this With an automation I email this url (a form in another table - let’s sayTable 2) to potential respondents. Table 2 also has a field called “BD Link” which references Table 1. When a respondent submits the form, “BD Link” is never populated. Can someone point out what I’m doing incorrectly? Thanks!
Hi. I use LinkedIn, and am interested in my SSI score (which LinkedIn automatically creates for you) - you can find it here: https://www.linkedin.com/sales/ssi. Basically, the more you use LinkedIn / engage with it, the better your SSI score. As you refresh this page every now and then, it shows you how your score has either gone up or gone down. So I wanted to create an Airtable web clipper so that I could capture my latest score whenever I visit the page, and write it to a table (so I can see a history of my SSI scores). I’ve set up a table to mimic all of the key fields on the SSI page, but am struggling to write the content (can’t find any good help online, and I’m not the most tech-savvy). I’m not sure how to set up the CSS selector to find the particular part of the page (the current SSI score - see screenshot). I’ve looked at the source behind the SSI webpage, and presume I’m trying to reference the ‘span’ entry? Can anyone help me to get this first field loaded (the curre
Hi, I have been using the Sync function successfully for a while but today a field I created in the originating base as a % turns up in the synced base as a single line text field. No amount of resyncing seems to help. What could be going wrong? Thanks, Jonathan
I simply want to create a table with conditional dropdowns, i’m shocked that this is still not possible. Please tell me I am wrong?
Has any one else experienced this? First year in enterprise was great, had an experienced customer success manager that assisted in base design and even a little custom scripting. Second year we were told they were restructuring and changed our customer success manager to a lovely lady but with very little technical knowledge, and a sizeable price jump.
