I keep coming back to Airtable hoping to be able to use it for our customer job booking and scheduling. The one thing that I keep hitting a wall with in any type of platform similar to Airtable is the lack of ability to have recurring records that can generate, in advance or at the time of entering the job, all events in a calendar view. Like how most major calendars do. We currently use CalendarWiz, then import into excel, change columns around, assign customer in a column to match the record etc. 90% of our job bookings are recurring. A mixture of daily, twice weekly, 1, 2, 3, 4… weekly, etc. Is there an easy work around in Airtable if it doesn’t have this option. The view of the jobs at least a month in advance is crucial to organise and plan our routes, workflows and employees in advance. The zap type things I have been reading I don’t think will work for us. Any ideas how to work with this. A template maybe for each type of job entry. One for once off jobs,

Hello, I’m trying to figure out a way to use the API to get all records modified TODAY(). When I retrieve records with the API I can see the createdTime field, but no modifiedTime field though the documentation says it exists. Does anyone know of a formula that I can use to get all records modified TODAY()? Thanks!

I have a master student data that I want to roll up lessons created per student into (on a per-student level). It looks like this The curriculum (lessons) table has data like this: When I create a linked record and attempt to roll it up, only 1 lesson is returned per student (the one that was connected to the student name when I selected the student in the linked record field). Any ideas about how I could fix this, please? Thank you

Hello we have a cell in a table which shows different text at the exact same time for 2 different users. The cell is consisting of long text and this is the first time we have noticed this problem. Is this a common problem or just a temporary glitch? And do you know of a solution? It has only happened one time but out of curiosity I would like to know if anyone else have experienced it and if its a known issue?

Hi there! So we have two different airtables, one for clients, and one for freelance workers. The “client AT” is mostly transaction based, meaning per project they sign on its one record. Can be multiple separate records with only one client. There’s one column here where the freelancer’s names are also included as reference. The “freelancers AT” is mostly profile based, from the recruitment department, so its one profile per record. Is it possible to automate linking the client ID to the freelancer’s profile? Like creating a client history per profile. Thanks so much!

In this scenario, there are 2 tables. A Clients table and a Marketing Spend list. Each Client has a Status (a single select that can be Lead, Account, Not Interested). The Marketing Spend list have a “Linked to another record” field where we would only want the “Account” clients to be available to be choseen as an option. How would we do this?

I’d like to store a list of links in a table but I find it a lot easier to visualize if I have the site favicon beside each link (as it is in a browser’s bookmark system). Is there a way to do this in Airtable? Thanks!

I am hoping someone can shed some light on a topic for me. I have a client who wants to be able to email one of her clients from table one with linked information from table two. From everything I have read and tried to do, I believe that Airtable does NOT send emails to clients with template emails. I just am hoping to find out if I am missing something or if I am right. How do you delete a ROW or a COLUMN in a base? The HELP for this says “right click and select Delete option.” When I right-click in a row or column, no such option appears. Anyone else experience this? Thank you.

I have a table of Dates. Each date is tied to a single event (also a table) That event has hundreds of player submissions (in a table) The player submission earn points - Total In the Event table I am able to roll up the highscore, but I want to be able to see the player that belongs to as well.

I have a string of Colors Red, Blue, Yellow I want to retrieve only the last value in the cell which is here Yellow. The colors can change order so i can’t retrieve it by trimming a certain number of characters. Thank you

Hi All, I was wondering if anybody could point me in the right direction. I have the following base set up: A B C D 1 @ ! P £ 2 @ ! P $ 3 @ ! P $ 4 @ ! P £ 1,2,3,4 are the records, and A,B,C,D are the files. What I would like to be able to do is email the full records of 2 and 3 as they have a “$” in the “D” Feild and 1 and 2 dont. I have been able to email out the records individually, but I want to put both records in the same email. Any advice? ,

Hello, this problem is driving me nuts! I have encountered the problem when trying to upload an attachement to my Airtable table via share link on Google drive. I am using Integromat for my automations, and everything seems to work fine - file is properly uploaded to my Google drive, I create a share link so that no login is required to view and download a file. I use this URL: https://drive.google.com/u/1/uc?&export=download&id={File.id}. It still doesn’t work… Any help?

Hi, We work with 3 (some times 4) Teams, is there a way to divide each day in the calender view in 4 rows? I already use color coding to show in what stage a project is. Please see the pic. This is how the planning is happening today. Also can the display cards in calender increase in size like you can with the grid view?

I made a tool/template in Airtable now I want to integrate it into my local react app. I want this template to work for every particular logged-in user means the logged-in users can see their own space of my template whenever they logged in. for ex: I attached a very rough example of what I want to make: I want this table to be associated with the logged-in user is there any oAuth available to integrate the whole Airtable logged-user table to my react application like this instead of this table can I integrate my custom template/tool of airtable on my site ?

Hello to all, I have created dashboards that are automatically sent to my colleagues every Monday morning. However, I am only able to send them an email with the link to this dashboard. Would it be possible to integrate the dashboard in an email or a slack message? Or to export the dashboard as a pdf to attach it to the email? These questions answer two problems I’m dealing with: Extracting information from a dashboard at a specific time (PDF) for a monthly report To give more visibility to my dashboards, the link not being very attractive Thanks !

Hello! I will try to explain a situation to see if you can help me with some solution please. I have different bases for sports competitions. (Football Championship, Basketball Championship, Volleyball Championship, etc), and all these competitions share the same talents (narrators, commentators and producers). It would be great if this information were consolidated, converging on another base so that we could have an overview of the team’s overall roster, avoiding the same talent being called for different events on the same day and time. Is that clear? I’m a beginner in Airtable, I couldn’t think of an effective solution here yet. Remembering that I already use the base synchronization, so much that all these talents are in a single base of company employees, synchronized with all the other bases of Competitions (Products).

Is there any way to differentiate between tasks that have been completed with non-completed tasks in the calendar view?

Is there a way to use AirTable to send notes/messages/notifications to collaborators at a macro base level? I don’t want to message a collaborator about a specific record. I want to message the collaborator to go in and look at several tables in the base.

When you send a record as an email to someone, is there a way to see a history of the records that you have emailed from a certain base?

I created a base with a form in the free version of Airtable. As is customary, when someone submitted a form, the information would populate in my base. The ED of my organization wanted to be able to view the base in Gantt view and has access to the pro version of Airtable, so she copied my base to her account and granted me access. However, when someone fills out a form, the information isn’t populating in the base she copied; the information only appears in the original base I created. Does anyone know how to get the information on the form to populate into the new base?
