I’m using BravoStudio (a No Code tool) to design an App. Random content can be obtained by clicking. I use Airtable as a container for random content, but I am currently stuck at this step: I don’t know how to get random records. What is the solution? I tried to use a third party such as Integration, but I didn’t know how to do it. Can I write an App script to achieve it? Who will teach me… :cry: :sob: :cry: :sob:

Is it possible to log/record the active filters for a given view of one base to a separate base? Essentially I want to create a log that captures the filters/queries used for the saved views.

Is there a template for organizing photographs? I have thousands of digitized photographs and would like to organize them.

There are two linked tables: Posts (ie. an index of blog posts, with dates) Companies (a list of companies who author blog posts) Companies already has a Count field column to display the total Posts by given Company. However, I’d like also to count the posts by Company within the last seven days. One view of Posts is filtered to show records with dates within the last week. But how do I utilise this or similar on the Companies table? Thanks.

Hey all ATers. I was wondering if there is currently an “alert”/email, etc that is sent to the main creator whenever an editor or less does something in one of the workspaces, bases, tables etc? I’m the Admin/Creator and need to be made aware of any changes, deletions etc. that are made so that I can check them immediately. Does AT do that? Thanks!

Good day again ATers! Quick question on AT rights. Is there a way to set various users beyond the “creator, editor, etc” to only allow them to edit certain fields? I have a set of teams, including my own internally, that will be working in various tables, and instead of creating duplicate views for each user, is there a way to just give each a different access/lockdown? For example, All users need access to the full “course” table, Each user needs to be able to create, edit(but not delete) a course, they can leave memos in the expanded field if they need that. Each user can only edit THEIR courses, not others(if this isn’t possible, that’s fine). So basically, needing to limit user access to not screw up the huge database :). I think that’s it :). Any suggestions, comments, ideas? Thanks!

I have spent hours and hours on this thing. I am not able to copy paste the records to new table ( it has the same structure ) It doesn’t show the option of Dialog box of Expand cells etc. Please help.

Hi there. I am currently a admin for an alumni organization. I use the Airtable to manage member database, and trying to find out how I can use this member data to automatically sync to a list or table on a website using wordpress. Before Airtable, I was using excel to manage member data, and had to update the website (member introduction list) manually using wordpress. I was hoping by using Airtable, I would not have to update the website manually, but instead focus on maintaining Airtable so it will automatically update the web at the same time.

Hi everyone, I am trying to get my head around how to structure an inventory location app. I see there is one that I can clone which is great but the secondary level of complexity is that we track multiple locations in the warehouse. This template has the ability to track multiple locations but not multiple quantities in multiple locations. As you can see in the screenshot below I have added 3 locations for the first product but I need to work out how to structure a quantity for each location. Here is the Locations image below, so how can I add a qty for each location? Thanks so much for your help folks in advance.

I would love to use airtable i think it is a fantastic product :relaxed: :relaxed: however i live in Skandinavia and apps created with it Just seem a bit slow to load. Are you guys considering serving airtable from other places than the States?

Hi, I sync my google calendar with my Airtable, everything works fine so far. the only thing I couldn’t figure out is, how do I filter or set to pull only the events that I mark as ‘yes’ to the invitations. In airtable it shows all the calendar events even the ones that I’ll not attend. I’d appreciate if I can get some help with that. thanks in advance! Baran

So when I create an Attachment Field Type, I can add various attachments and I can access One Drive to upload documents BUTI cannot access my Business Account…only my personal One Drive. The Air Table system is pointing to live.com for the upload and not microsoftonlinecom. When it points to live.com, it asks for a login and passcode but will NOT allow me to use my Work Account. If Air Table could use the microsoftonline.com as the link into One Drive then I can select to use my Work or my Personal One Drive as the source. Please, can this be done Air Table ?

Hi all, Just wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to how best to set up the following workflow. We are wanting to bring in info (sender, date, subject and main body message) from emails received (across a number of different email accounts). Once the above info has found its way into Airtable we are then wanting to send information from these new records to 3rd party email address or phone numbers. Not really sure where/how best to start tackling this so any advice/guidance would be appreciated. Cheers

Hi, I’m wondering if the following situation is a bug or not. Currently, when we create a linked record field, the “card” that is shown once a record was actually linked, shows the fields in an order that belongs to the very first view that linked record’s table belong to. What I found, is that when you configure the linked record field, to be limited to a particular view, then the fields arrangement from such view is not used to render the “card”. Is this correct? I am trying to push content + an image from Airtable through Zapier and schedule a post in Hootsuite. The issue I am running into is that in Zapier, it’s asking for a media URL for my video or image. But my image in Airtable is a jpeg. Do I have to convert my image to a URL in order for this integration to work? Thank you in advance for your help -Newbie Airtabler

Hello! I’ve created a gallery that I’d like to embed on my client’s website, but there are a few issues: The title of each record is cut off in the preview of the gallery cards. Upon clicking the cards to get the expanded view, the title shows up twice: once large (which is nice) at the top of the expanded view, and then again below that as a field. The gallery of course uses associated images as the “cover field,” and I did not click “image” in the customized list of fields to include on the cards, yet the images show up at the bottom of the expanded view — oddly, under a banner that announces “1 hidden field” (so why show them, if they’re supposed to be hidden???) I wish I could customize different fields to show between the preview and the expanded view, but I’ve read elsewhere this is not possible. I’m just mentioning it here in case there’s a solution I missed in my search of the forum this morning.

Hi - this is maybe a pretty basic question, but after reading through some help docs (e.g. how to link records, using intermediary tables to join many-many relationships, etc), I’m think that either I’m missing something, OR airtable isn’t a good fit for what I’m trying to do. Basically, I have 1 table, the ‘Research Questions’ table, which is populated with 5 columns and 4 rows. Column 1 is a list of Properties. Rows 1-4 each contain a different property: Property A, Property B, Property C, Property D. Column 2 is a particular Feature - let’s call it Feature A. The remaining columns are Feature B, Feature C, Feature D. The intersecting cells are research questions which combined the intersecting Property and Feature. So, Column 2, Row 1 is a research question based on Property A and Feature A, etc. This results in 16 research questions. When viewing a record that has multiple tasks assigned to it, I cannot find a way to have a task removed from that view once its completed. I understand that I can filter out completed tasks by customizing a table view, but cannot seem to remove tasks when looking at an individual record. I do not want to delete these tasks altogether… Thanks

Automation keeps shutting itself off after 5 seconds. Tested all the step success all the way through. Trigger: New Google form Submission Action: Find Record based on email Action: Script to format data Action: Create new Record with data and linking to found record Error just says try again no information Airtable Documentation suggests it’s issue with managed accounts so I did a reconnect still no difference. Hi folks, I’m in the process of moving some data from Google Sheets into Airtable. In the Google sheets I have three tabs. The first two have data added manually. The third tab uses formula to pull through the data from tabs 1 & 2. This formula is working fine in Google sheets, but I get an error message in AirTable when trying to switch the column type to formula. I’m sure it’s something simple, like I’m referencing the wrong fields in the formula, but as I’m a newbie to AirTable, I’m struggling to find a solution.
