I have a set of data that contains first name, last name, timezone, and email address. I’d like to create automatic groups of 3 based on time zone (each participant needs to have the same timezone per group) and then somehow (hopefully in an automated manner!) communicate the peer groups with their first, last, email to each group. Anyone have any ideas for how this could be done with Airtable? Thanks in advance!

I have a table that tracks every donation made to our charity, which includes the title of the fundraiser to where the funds were donated. This is triggered by each new donation. What I need to do is find a way to AUTOSUM the donations by the fundraiser title. The stick in my widget is that this number will be constantly updating as more donations come in. Currently, I can group by single select and see the AUTOSUM for each fundraiser. As new donations come in, this number automatically updates. Gorgeous. Since I need that number to use in other places, I’ll need that value to inhabit a single record. What I’ve tried to do is create a NEW table to do a ROLLUP. My issue with this is that I need to manually add each new donation to get an accurate snapshot of the current SUM. Since this value will be used in client-facing data, it has to be up to the

I wish the field order in dedupe was useful. Putting them in order of creation is not helpful when you have hundreds of fields.

you can’t merge a calculated field so why to they appear in the “Dedupe” app. In my case I have scores of calculations so using dedupe is difficult because I can’t hide those non-mergable calculation fields.

Hello, I am in the process of trying to map an existing Google Form to Airtable and I am not having much success. I’m doing a test drive to just understand the process so I can then build out a larger form and automate it. Is it possible to access new fields added to a synced table or records linked to the synced table from the source table?

Hello - I’m using page designer formatted on an 8.5x11. I’m using the table format to display a long list of inputs. The problem I’m running into is the list extends beyond the length of the sheet and I can’t figure out how to continue the cutoff information in a secondary table on the same sheet. I own a music lessons studio and the software we use (WellnessLiving) reports revenue per lesson and instructor pay per lesson in two separate reports. I’m hoping to find a way to match up a lesson record that contains the revenue for that lesson with a separate lesson record that contains the instructor pay in order to see my gross profit. In essence I have two sets of the same data (e.g. two entries for a 30 min. guitar lesson from March 28 at 2:30pm) that both contain different data that I want to combine. I could do this manually using the Dedupe app but I figured there has to be a way to automate this.

Hi All, How do you produce a gantt chart which has the tasks from two different tables (in the same base) and shows the dependencies between them? ie you have two projects generally be tracked separately but want a gantt view of the dependencies between the projects? Thanks

I’ve made a airtable form and received quite some data already (incl email). I realised I forgot to ask the date of birth. Is there a way to send many people individual emails to request them to send it back and it auto fills the DOB field?

Hi everyone, I am new to Airtable and I have been stuck on this for a while now, basically what I need is: A Products table for thousands of products These products can be grouped into 10 main categories There are a few dozen sub-categories under each main categories What I would like to achieve is, each time when I am adding a new product record, I can select the main categories drop down menu, and after that only those sub-categories related to that main categories will show in the sub-category drop down menu I am totally lost here, please help. Hi! I want to create a report with some figures that I have in APPs. Is there any way to do it? I use Page designer for reports but there seems no way to add there the graphs I obtain from other apps. Could somebody advice? Thanks in advance

So our team is semi unique in that some collaborators only need access to certain fields to change, while others need semi admin. The semi admin is easy enough, as I can set them to editors only. But let’s say another set of collaborators, I only share one base, and only want them to be able to edit a certain field or set of fields. Is there a way to do this?

I’m just curious what other peoples workflows are here? I am using airtable just for myself right now, since its easier for to completely setup and manage the data on my end. But how would I go about collaborating when I start adding team members who can edit these airtable files? For now its just going to be 1 additional user adding data My major concerns are the following: The other user being added on here, some of their data isn’t up to my standards so its considered slightly “garbage” data in my mind. Hello, I’m discovering AirTable, I have a free airtable plan. I would like to connect it to my Mysql database. In my database I’ve the number of messages that my member (Adolphe) sent. Adolphe could send 0 or 100 messages every day, so the number could change every day. In AirTable, I have a raw specially for Adolphe. I’ve created a column named “Total messages sent”. How could check every 24 hours the total number of Adolphe with my Mysql in AirTable please ? Thank you

On my calendar view, it automatically applies a label to my entries. I want to remove this for my date ranges because it is applying a “Start Date” label to the first day, but when it’s a long title, this label can appear on a day that’s not actually the start date. I do not see any option to remove the label. I’ve just been putting a “-” as the label for a workaround, but I’m curious if there is a better way. Thanks!

I hope someone could help me out, as i am quite new to airtable. I have been experimenting with the FIND() formula, yet i could not figure it out. The “gebruikt download url” tells me from which url a subscriber of the Ebook has downloaded it. This can be the basis url, as is the first record. In the second column, you will find a generated referral url. This url is meant to be shared, in order to get some price. In the second record, the column “gebruikte download url” shows that the ebook has been downloaded through the generated referral link from the 1e record, as both of them contain the same =ref"" code. What i would like to do in the last column “Aantal referral” is to count how many times a certain referral url has been used. The before last column shows the referral code of the subscriber. Hi all, I sent an urgent email to Airtable support, but since their auto reply says they’re very busy and can’t guarantee a prompt response, I thought I’d try here. We have an account that’s been used for about 6 months or so and we’ve been collaborating on a base virtually every day. Suddenly this morning, while logged in to AT, there are no bases listed. When I access the bookmark to a base in the browser, we get the “You do not have access to this base” message with a Request Access button. After requesting access, I didn’t get anything sent to the account email address. I confirmed that I’m logged in to Airtable with the right account name when getting this message. I don’t see the Workspace at all, though it shows I am logged in. I don’t see anything in the inbox about a billing issue or that the account has expired. Anyone have an idea about what this might be? Is this a known issue? Thanks for any ideas!

I like airtable but seem to have difficulty in exporting data over the printer. The page designer did not provide the solution I needed as it seems to be a product to design single pages for each datapoint, not long lists of data from different tabels all on one or two pages. My alternative is copy/paste to Excel to get data out - but there must be more people with the same diffuclties out there (and searching through the Forum there were a few). So what is the suggestion to get the data that is available in long lists of items just like in the grid view to a printer?

Hello, I’m using WEEKDAY() to show me which day of the week (Jour (#)) an order came through. For some reason, the formula shows me this : Orders with different dates 15/04 and 14/04 shouldn’t show the same Day Number in Jour (#) which is where WEEKDAY() is applied. I know it’s related to the fact that these orders came between 00:00 and 02:00 am, tho I don’t know how to resolve this. Any idea ? Thanks

I am trying to achieve a scenario where by I have a table holding all the master info for employees - including salary, contact details, etc but want to share a table just showing the contact details with the rest of the team.
