I use to receive many email applications with resume attachments. I’ve been using Trello and asana to create records directly from my Gmail inbox mails as there are excellent extensions available. I’ve not been able to figure out any extension or tool yet to achieve this in Airtable. My requirement is to add a record to Airtable including the attachment from the inbox mail. Please suggest if anybody have figured out an easy solution to achieve this.

On Android mobile app, when someone @mention me, I received a notification and from notification I could open a dialogue, from where I could give comments on record’s activity. However, I could not find feature (on Android app) that allow me to directly open the activity’s comments feature. Do we have this function on mobile app, if yes, please point me to it. This is so dumb but driving me crazy-- how do I just grab and drop a section to move it??? It doesn’t seem to work like in excel. Thank you!

I’m using one of my bases to schedule social media posts. I’m wanting to be able to see the image I have uploaded in the attachments in my calendar view. I believe this used to be a feature but when searching found that AirTable removed this functionality back in like 2017 and mentioned maybe bringing it back. Is it back yet and I’m just missing how to enable it? If not, can we please get it back? This is a feature I’ve wanted to have for years and am shocked it doesn’t exist.

Hi community, I noticed toward the end of last week that some of my go-to apps aren’t working within my Airtable bases. I recognize today that the issue is related to using the Firefox browser, which has never been a problem before. (Using Chrome, all is well.) Anyone else experiencing this? My browser is updated and I hope this is a temporary bug. Ex1) I can submit text in the search app, but no results are generated. I have the ability to change the view being searched, but it makes no difference. Ex2) The map app is nearly unresponsive. When I expand to full screen I can see the settings, but it doesn’t make any difference if I modify the fields. In each case, the formatting within the app is wonky, too. I’ve included two screenshots to demonstrate. Anyone have any thoughts?? Leads? --Thanks for any insights!

Hello, Not sure how to phrase this-How do I lock across several fields then sort alphabetically by the first field? I want all the information organized by name in the first column but don’t want to lose all the websites in other columns. Thank you!

I have my own personal Airtable account, plus the account from my employer. As such, I have two profiles in the Community. I’d like to merge the two profiles so I have a single account to track all my engagements. Is this possible, or at least setup an alias with each other so the engagements are sync’d with others? Hi, I have a table with around 100 rows of Animals (Duck, Dog, Lizard, Shark…) . Now I like to crowdsource people adding images to those Animals rows. I like people to go to a form, pick a Category (Birds, Mammals, Reptiles, Fish) first then, depending of what Category they pick (e.g. Mammals), they see a list of available Animals (Dog, Cat, Monkey, ) for which users can add pictures. Is that possible in Airtable with Airtable forms? Note: At the Category > Animal relationship is 1-to-1. I.e. each Animal only belongs to one Category. Thanks! :slightly_smiling_face:

Hello all - I’ve been looking around the forum, and can’t find an answer for this. Does anyone know of a way to export the cards in the gallery view as individual image files? This might be as a direct export from airtable, or even using Airtable as a source for running it through another application. A comparison would be, for instance, how you might use excel as the source for a data merge in Adobe Indesign. The end goal is to try and do two things. Firstly, export a set of image cards from Airtable that could be dragged onto an online whiteboard like Miro or Mural. Secondly, export the information into Indesign (or similar) so that it could generate a set of printable cards as a PDF file.

Hello. How can I display a different field in calendar? I don’t want to see the duplicate date like in the screenshot. I want to see the name of another field, not the primary field because is redundant. Thanks.

Hi, All i have created a multiselect option field in airtable and in that field new options is created via integromat,but now i am facing the issue, Cannot create more select options for new select option xyz, due to this i cant able to add records in air table, i tried to direct add options in that field but cant able to do that, please let me know how to fix it . I have this formula: DATEADD(DATETIME_PARSE({Meeting End Time},'HH:mm'),{Meeting Length}+15,'minute') And what I am trying to do is have an email sent out in 15 mins after the meeting has ended. I tried: IF(NOW()=DATEADD(DATETIME_PARSE({Meeting End Time},‘HH:mm’),{Meeting Length}+15,‘minute’),“YES”,“NO”) Thus making the cell say yes and automation that reads that cell so if it sees “YES” to send out an email. But the if statement I realize doesn’t constantly check the agreement only when a cell is updated. Does anyone have any ideas on what I should do?

Hello all! I’m new to Airtable and need your help. I’m using two tables with responses from Typeform. Both tables have similar fields, the difference being only the language. So I have Table 1 [english] and Table 2 [Portuguese] populate with similar information. My problem is: I need to populate a third table with both Table 1 and Table 2 data combined. I’m using Zapier to combine the responses for Typefome and send it to Airtable, but Zapier seems pretty unstable, so I’m looking for a way to populate directly from Typerform. Someone know if it’s possible?

Hi, is it possible to place an empty field on a page, in Page Designer App, that another user can then complete, like on a Form. If not, is there any other way to present a single record to another user, and have the fill in missing data.

I am just using airtable data with thunkable.I have a user name column and a email column. I want whenever a new record is created in airtable, send a email that "new record is created by ‘username’ " to all the emails which are in the email column. How to do this?

I’ve set up a table for the recruiting aspect of our business. We’ve currently got 2 collaborators and we always work on the same table at the same time. The problem is when we are filtering to look for job applicants to match different job descriptions. When our second office are searching and filtering, it automatically changes my screen to match theirs. Is there a way we can work at the same time, using our own filters, without affecting each other’s screens? Apologies if this is a basic question, however I can’t seem to work it out.

This is the page desiger app…I have a single report out of a host of 20 very complex reports that refuses to correctly convert to a pdf. The letters are jumbled and impossible to correct once in pdf format. Any ideas on a solution? I’ve printed to pdf using every application available…all reports are coming from the same base…same tables

Hello everyone, Im facing a big issue on my airtable invoicing base, that i never had before. Latst month my system was working just fine. My system is that i have 2 views both are filtered, view 1 is for the missions that have no invoice linked to it, view 2 is for the missions that have a invoice linked to it. I’m trying to link my record from view 1 to an other table (not invoice relatedat all) in the same base and when i do the record gets out of the view 1 but it should not be filtered. The record does not meet the conditions to be filtered out of the view 1, as you can see on the screenshot the record is filtered but “facture” is empty, and status is “live” so he should not be filtered out… I don’t get it, when i change the “facture” f

Hello all! I’m new to both Airtable and Typeform and need your help. I’d like to combine responses from two differents forms from Typeform in the same Airtable base. The fields in both forms are the same, the difference being just the form language. I’m trying to avoid creating separated bases, since the data from both forms are similar. Is that possible? [edit] I tried to connect but multiple choice fields are not accepted because field content doesn’t match. Someone could help me with a workaroud, please?

Hi community, I see that the API has a limitation (5 requests per second). We are facing some issues with our API calls and suspect that the limitation of the API is causing the issues. We are using Zapier, AirTable automations and some other API calls via our own platform. Is there an overview where we can see if we (often) reach the API limits and which call is responsible for that? Such an overview would be very helpful in understanding how we burden the system. Hi, In my login, I created a new workspace. I copied a base from a previous workspace, but not the records. When I want to filter by “Assigned to” I’m still seeing previous workspace collaborators (but not all of them). How do I delete them. See photo - they are greyed out, but I want to remove them.

I’m new to Airtable, so not sure if its me or Airtable is not working correctly. First problem is I linked 2 tables, A and B, both having a field of item numbers. When I first set this up, it worked fine, and the required fields were passed across from A to B. However when I added further records to B entering valid item numbers, the fields were not passed across. When I go to the item number field in table B and click to change the field properties, it indicates under the sort options that it now thinks it is a character field not a number field. It was specified as a number field before linking the tables… Is this the problem and how do I fix it. Also when I go and click on ‘Help’, top right hand corner, nothing happens when I click ‘Contact Support’.
