Hi all, I sent an urgent email to Airtable support, but since their auto reply says they’re very busy and can’t guarantee a prompt response, I thought I’d try here. We have an account that’s been used for about 6 months or so and we’ve been collaborating on a base virtually every day. Suddenly this morning, while logged in to AT, there are no bases listed. When I access the bookmark to a base in the browser, we get the “You do not have access to this base” message with a Request Access button. After requesting access, I didn’t get anything sent to the account email address. I confirmed that I’m logged in to Airtable with the right account name when getting this message. I don’t see the Workspace at all, though it shows I am logged in. I don’t see anything in the inbox about a billing issue or that the account has expired. Anyone have an idea about what this might be? Is this a known issue? Thanks for any ideas!

I like airtable but seem to have difficulty in exporting data over the printer. The page designer did not provide the solution I needed as it seems to be a product to design single pages for each datapoint, not long lists of data from different tabels all on one or two pages. My alternative is copy/paste to Excel to get data out - but there must be more people with the same diffuclties out there (and searching through the Forum there were a few). So what is the suggestion to get the data that is available in long lists of items just like in the grid view to a printer?

Dear AT Community, I have just started using the Page Designer Block/App but when I click on the colour of a text in order to try and change it, no colour palette comes up. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks in advance Ladi

Hello, I’m using WEEKDAY() to show me which day of the week (Jour (#)) an order came through. For some reason, the formula shows me this : Orders with different dates 15/04 and 14/04 shouldn’t show the same Day Number in Jour (#) which is where WEEKDAY() is applied. I know it’s related to the fact that these orders came between 00:00 and 02:00 am, tho I don’t know how to resolve this. Any idea ? Thanks

Hi there. Am wondering if it is possible to duplicate a table and then when I update the original table, the duplicated one is updated as well? I am trying to achieve a scenario where by I have a table holding all the master info for employees - including salary, contact details, etc but want to share a table just showing the contact details with the rest of the team. Hi, I’m not new to Airtable but I’m still very novice. I’m sure there is a way to do this but I can’t figure it out. I run a horse show association where our members earn points. They can earn awards in 3 different areas, all are captured within our Airtable bases. I figured out groups and then adding the sum to the summary row. But how do I get an output for this, into a report or html I can insert into our website? Here is an example of what I’m trying to do: Name - Class - Division - Points John - Apples - Fruit - 5 John - Oranges - Fruit - 4 John - Green Beans - Vegetables - 3 John - Asparagus - Vegetables - 2 So I need to be about to output 3 things - total points (all points added together) so for John this would be 14 points. Then I need John’s points by Division - so for John this would be Fruit - 9 and Vegetables 5. Then I need it for each Class - so Apples - 5; Oranges - 4; etc. I can get my bases sorted/grouped to give me the sums correctly, but then I don’t know wha

Some of the data entry is funky - how do I protect fields so they cannot be changed?

Hi Community - probably super simple, but I have looked through and done searches but I still can’t figure it out. I’m using DATEDIFF to find the number of days between two rental dates, but it is not counting the end date, ie hire date of 12-Apr thru 16-Apr counts 4 days, not 5. I think the same goes for outing weeks too. Any solutions please? Thanks,

The option to specify a card cover field seems to make that field appear in the gallery view when a card is clicked, even when the field is hidden. This seems like it might be an unintended. Obviously it’s not a concern over the attachment content being shown since it’s displayed as the card cover, but it seems unneeded. It’s also weird that it says “hidden field” but is still shown. Wondering if I’m just missing something…

Is there a way to hold zapier activation while I finish all the new record fields? I have managed creating a new view which is filtered to have the last field filled so that zapier takes it as a new record. Is there any way I can avoid this? Thanks

Being able to paste images into a rich text field is very cool. We do this all the time in our GitHub issues: This is currently missing from Rich Text Fields within Airtable and kills all my hope of using it in our company :frowning: Are there any plans in the near future? Ironically it works here in the community board :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: So the advantages of using this feature in a productive environment must be clear. We also want to include audio and video for bugs and user feedback. Having to tediously create and reference attachments by their filename in a long text is currently something we don’t want to go back to and stopped us from using many other Productivity tools like Asana. Especially with filenames like “Screenshot 2021-04-06 at 16.37.06.png” generated from MacOS and not being able to just “Paste media content from the Clipboard”. Painful.

Is it possible to send designed emails through airtable? I’d like to add the little social icons (facebook, instagram, google review) at the bottom of all my customer-facing emails to share about their experience and engage with our company. Alternatively, my company uses squarespace to send emails to customers also. Is it possible to integrate with squarespace to auto send emails upon a booking and a job completed?

We are new to Airtable. We have some .csv files that get pushed daily to an FTP server. We are hoping to be able to pull those .csv files and the data within them and dump it into Airtable. We are a bit lost of where to start with this automation without using the API ideally. If anyone has any experience with this use case or integration we would love to hear about it.

Hi Airtable Community. I’d like to create a medal tally for a school’s athletics meet where the results are counted by how many Gold, Silver and Bronze each school has. I’d like this medal tally to be automatically updated and sorted when I update an event table, e.g, if I update the winners for the table for 100m event by the school, the Medal Tally would automatically update.

My data consists of 4 tables, each table having a unique ID that is a number. Those numbers are the links between the tables. When I bring it into AirTable, everything is linked properly, but the linked field being a number isn’t of any use when a user tries a search, They need to be able to enter something other than the number of the record to find what they are looking for. If they are looking for something in the linked table with a column of City, they need to be able to search by the city instead of guessing at numbers until they stumble across the right one. A workaround is to use a concatenated field starting with the number then throwing stuff into it that would be useful for searching. I a working on converting it to use just such an approach but there are a lot of multi-instance fields that are a royal pain to convert. There has to be a better way. I know there is something obvious that I am missing.

I have inherited the task of updating and managing Airtable for our group. We have a Google form of data fields that I need to import into an existing Airtable. Or I need to revise/edit the column headings on the existing Airtable. Best approach? Thank you!

I am using gallery view on my website to display membership profiles. One of the fields is essentially “preferred name” and one is essentially “birth name”.l I only want to show the birth name if the preferred name is empty. Any suggestions?

I would like to display the number of records that I have in a table on my website. I know I can do this manually, but I would have to keep updating it manually and was wondering if there was an automated way. For example: “567 products and counting!” Where the number 567 is the number of records (rows) in the table that updates automatically when records are added. Is this possible with javascript or something?

I am new to Airtable and would like to be able to use Vega-Lite to add charts to my dashboard but modify them to display the numerical value on top of the column. I have added a screenshot of the chart that Vega-Lite pulls in along with the code. Any help is appreciated.

Hi there, is there any option to edit a single data entry (row) by using a form or targeting it via API? Example: We’ve got 100 data entries / rows relating different 100 people. We’d like to give them the possibility to update their data by their own without having any kind of access to the data from someone else. How could we do this? Thanks in advance!
