I have problem that image attachments are not uploading from iPhone or iPad. It used to work but not anymore. Not from iPhone or iPad. But when I go Mac OS X, with the same Airtable account and to the same base, it works just fine. When trying to upload on iOS GUI just shows “Uploading 1 attachment …” after submit button but nothing happens. And attachment is never stored to the base. What’s wrong with iOS uploading? Anyone having same problem? How I can fix this?

Hello Airtable Community, I hope that you are having a pleasant holiday season and staying safe. I mistakenly linked my google drive from the wrong google drive account, and I want to link a different google drive account instead. However, Airtable won’t let me enter new google drive account information. When I go to account settings and toggle the switch that says “Link your Airtable account to Google Drive. You’ll be able to create and open Airtable bases from Google Drive”, it keeps logging back into the wrong account instead of letting me enter new google drive account information. How do I clear the google drive account information from Airtable, so that I can enter different google drive account information? Thank you for your help.

I want to use Airtable API to upload images into attachment field. I have created public file storage (Minio), images have public access. I send URL of image to Airtable API in PATCH request. Example PATCH body: { "fields": { "Name": "randomName", "Images": [ --- Attachment field in Airtable { "url": "https://someUrl:9000/attachments/J/IMAGE/upload_tmpfile_1608952265638459111199810539557_01a.jpg" } ] } } Response looks good but image is never downloaded from Minio to Airtable API. Minio use self signed cert and IP (no domain name). What is wrong?

I’m locking make a public database. Is there a way to lock a row’s data once it is entered? But not have the entire field be locked. The idea is that it would be a database of contacts where each contact will enter their own information and be able to see everyone else’s (but we want to lock all previous fields except the one you are entering)

Sorry for the newbie question, if I have the same four tasks repeated daily and I need the totals for those noting respectively, do I need four separate tables to monitor date and total or is there a way to have all four tasks on one table? The end goal is be able to monitor task totals over week/month.

I’m trying to use Dropbox as intermediary file system to get PDF attachments from Gmail into Airtable, using Integromat. Have had a long struggle trying to use GDrive as the intermediary system, which unfortunately does not work reliably. With Dropbox as stepping-stone, it seems I can reliably get a file into Airtable (hurray!) but the file lands as application/binary rather than application/pdf which causes other problems for me - Airtable does not generate thumbnail image, and some of my downstream automations do not work because they think the filetype is wrong. All these files have .pdf in file name, and Dropbox does correctly recognise these files as PDF in its native interface. How can I make Airtable know that these file attachments are PDFs?

Hi Airtable Community, Could someone please help me out, I have two columns, one that is Start time and one is Stop Time, they both have dates and times. I use a formula to get me the total hours between the dates and times. The only issue is, some projects that have start end time of 1/12/2020 10:10 till 2/12/2020 15:30 will give me total hours but I only need it to calculate during working hours which is 7 Hours and not give me a total of hours which include when the employee is not working. Is there any formula that can take in account to only calculate total hours during work hours? I am using this formula for total hours between the two dates. IF({Stop Time},DATETIME_DIFF({Stop Time},{Start Time},"")/3600) Thank you all for any help that can be provided.

I am trying to perform a vlookup type functionality from excel in airtable. Here is what I am trying to do: My setup I have a table called buildings and table called tasks. My tasks are associated to buildings My tasks have a step type, either “Step” or “Milestone” My tasks have a process step like “Data”, each process step has one “Milestone” My tasks have a completion date What I am trying to do On my buildings table, I would like to: Find the “Completion Date” for a given “Milestone” for a given “Process Step” for a given building While not exactly a one-to-one implementation, in excel I would use a vlookup or a match + offset function to accomplish this. Is something like this possible in Air Table?

Hello! I am wondering if the following is possible: Looking to have a form uses can fill out with different variables. (IE - income, number of children, zip code, etc) I am then wanting to give them (could be via email using Zapier) a coupon code that is predetermined for a certain percentage off. What I am thinking is, there will be different views for each coupon amount, and another table with all the coupons for that amount listed. Ideally, someone would fill out the form, Airtable would then (using Zapier, I assume) assign them a code from the correct table, send the user an email with code, then mark the code as used in the table. Any help is appreciated, thank you!

I am wanting to submit a form and redirect the user to some digested results. Is this possible? There is an example here: https://support.airtable.com/hc/en-us/articles/206058268-Guide-to-forms#redirect but I cannot figure out how to configure this for redirect for the script-digested information post submit. Hi, new to airtable. So I have three tables, A. Subjects, B. Teachers, C. Activities. In table A there’s ‘taught by’ column linked to the teachers’ name from table B (there might be more than one teachers per subject) and ‘length’ column of the lesson taught (in minutes per week simple number e.g. 15, 60, 75 etc.). In table C is form submitted by teachers. Linked to the Subject records and contains things like “playing blocks”, “drawing family”, “playing games with family” I’m trying to Show all subjects taught by a teacher in the B table Count the total subjects taught by a teacher in the B table Count the total hours per week a teacher is teaching in the B table Show the count of unique terms/words from table C from the example to get ‘playing: 2’, ‘family: 2’, ‘drawing: 1’ etc. or a word cloud I tried roll up but it always shows 0 and I can’t find the search term of what I’m trying to do.

Hello, with our team we use a custom app. Everything is ok with the app itself the only problem is that the app window vertical size keeps growing waaaay under the screen so we have to manually make it smaller almost every time we want to use it. At first I thought someone from our team with a large monitor keeps making it bigger but it is so enormous that I think it must be some bug although I haven’t found anyone else (apart from our team) to have this problem. Do you have any idea what could be the cause? Either way I consider it a design fault that the app size is shared across the whole team where everyone has different monitor size so that no one can set the app size the way he likes (and keep it that way). Is there any way to change this behavior (or a chance it will be changed by Airtable designers)? Thank you

Hi - I’m trying to help a non-profit organization that accepts membership applications via an AirTable form. As the organization is for military spouses, members routinely need to update information submitted with their membership application. Is there a way a person can update their record with such changes? As it is now, the member updates the form and a new ‘contact’ is populated rather than having the existing information updated. Hello, I need advice. In the United States, an invoice is very different from what the government of the Czech Republic asks for. For our invoice we need VAT identification no. to be included. Also our workplace is named by our department not by our company name, so the invoice and receipt contains wrong name and it’s not useful pour bookkeeping. How can I get an invoice from Airtable with the requirements of the Czech Republic. Invoices issued by Airtable do not meet these requirements. To whom I should turn to if it is not adjustable on the airtable settings? Thank you for your help, Barbora

I have x amount of users which needs to categorize X amount of websites URL’s previews. There is around 300 categories which is predefined and needs to be shown in a searchable or treellike structure. The urls is something i define. It’s important that the website URL is shown in some visual way, the best would be if the user can preview the whole website URL in an easy way so that they can read the content. Can i do this using Airtable?

I set up IFTTT algorithm so that daily summary from RescueTime should be saved to AirTable. It records my daily total time, productive time, and distracting time as a separate column (‘duration’ field with ‘h:mm’ format in airtable) and one row per day. My yesterday’s total time, productive time, and distracting time were 8 h 6 m, 3 h 4 m, and 2 h 44 m, but the AirTable record for yesterday is weird. They are respectively recorded as 1:26 (1h 26m = 86m which may be mis-understood from 8h 6m), 0:34 ( 34 m. mistaken from 3h 4m), 4:04 (4 h 4m = 244m mistaken from 2h 44m) How can I correct this? (RescueTime also sends daily summary to Telegram and MS OneNote and they show the duration correctly. So I believe it is not a problem caused by RescueTime or IFTTT.)

Hi Airtable Fam, How can I ensure that fields from different bases stay in sync? For example: Field C of Table 3@Base1 should be identical (i.e. sending data to) to Field B of Table7@Base2. Values shouldn’t be changing order after they sync otherwise Base2 will be a mess. Thank you
