Hi, I’m passing file uploads (jpg and pdf) from a Webflow form and would like to deposit the attachments into Airtable through Zapier. These attachments should then be zapped over back to Webflow to create a new CMS item. I’m having trouble bringing the files over from the initial webflow form upload over to the airtable database. They only want to show up as URLs but not actual attachment. Is there a reason for this? I’ve seen an app for this come up time and time again in my search (miniextensions), but I don’t want to pay $39/mo for it just yet. I have also tried creating an automation, but it doesn’t seem to work. The image starts getting uploaded but it disappears after a second— Is there an app I can integrate as a step in my Zapier process? Thanks!

Hello all, I created a second base where I use a synced table from the source base. This synced table had some percent fields that seemingly switched to some other type of value (looking same but it is not standing on the right side in the box but in the left side - similar as text does). Now I cannot do any calculations with this synced percent value anymore. Result is always #ERROR!, even when I try to use the “value()” command. What am I doing wrong? I would like to share a base with a customer (A chain store) and grant him access as an editor. I want him to be able to edit content of fields but not to add or delete fields. The problem is that he can continue sharing this base with other people and grant them Editor privileges as well. Is there a way to share a view or a base so that the user I share it with won’t be able to continue sharing it?

Hey everyone! I’m looking to provide users of my website an easy way to search the content of my airtable. I figured the Search app would do the trick. It works well - but I can’t determine if there is a way to embed the Search App into my website, similar to how you can embed your airtable view into your website using an iframe. Anyone know of if this is possible or how I might accomplish this? Any help is appreciated!

I am working in Airtable for the first time and it automatically added a free trial of the pro functionality onto my account. One of the reasons I want to use airtable is the search function that I have installed on my base dashboard. Is this a premium function? Will I lose it at the end of my free trial? I don’t want to put all the work into inserting a huge block of information if the function I want is going to disappear. Can someone advise? Thanks!

Hi, I’m new to Airtable. I am working on a project that will require automatic sorting and grouping of registrants. Below is an example of my problem. An event is created by a host and sets is a limit to the number of participants in a class Users register for an event. On the day of the event, the host verifies attendance, and the classes that exceed the limit must be divided into heats. (this is intended for a competition) How do I do part 3? I envision a way to divide groups that exceed the limit until the groups are below the limit. But, I don’t know the best way to do this. Limit = 5 In attendance = 34 In this example, I am left with 6 heat of 5 and 1 heat of 4. This is good. Limit = 5 In attendance = 36 In this example, I am left with 7 heat of 5 and 1 heat of 1. Hi, I am a seasoned Filemaker Developer. I am starting a new project where I want to offer a sports facility, they rent out four Sand Courts for BeachVolley, BeachTennis and other sports. In the basics they would have on their site a calendar, open time slots, a registering system… then further on probably links to payments for the reservation. All this in Brazil. My question… would you write this in Airtable… Is there a already made Service that is not too expensive? How do you see a project like that?

I have a larger base (for Airtable), about 30,000 rows and want to change one field with about 60 options to single select, to help prevent human error in the future when adding new items to this base. When I attempt to change this field from short line text to single select, it times out and asks me to refresh the page, and the change is not saved after several attempts. I’ve tried to turn off the “color” feature to make it easier to process, and still no luck. Is there a limit to this feature? What am I missing?

I am wondering if there is a feature in Airtable that would auto create a new row when the last available row in the sheet has data entered in any column other than the auto numbered ID column that I have set in the first column position. For example, Lets say on row 6300 - the first field has the ID number 6300 due to the auto number feature, but there is no data in any of the fields that follow - is there a way that airtable can add record nunber 6301 when data gets entered in any of the fields that follow the 6300 record? Hi ! I am currently trying to upload many images from google drive to airtable, using API (Google Drive API v3 and Airtable API Wrapper). Sometimes, it works but not always. It uploads the image and displays this image -> Then, transforming that display into the image (case when it works) or blank (case when it doesn’t work). If someone can explain to me how to fix that, I will be very grateful :slightly_smiling_face: Some precisions : I am working with Google Drive API because I have like 500-600 images and I needed a web repository to upload images with URL on Airtable.

Fields added to the page designer in edit mode include the option to change font parameters (font, size, weight); except if the field happens to be a barcode field. One cannot change font parameters for barcode fields, does not show on side bar. My work around has been to temporarily change the barcode field to a text field, change the font parameters on page designer, then change back to a barcode field. Has anyone else found a different work around that does not require field type change? Or, are the font parameter settings for barcode fields located somewhere else?

Hi, We use Airtable as an editorial calendar for our team. Writers have their own views where they can only see posts assigned to them, which is great. But we don’t want them to able to view any other views (including the ‘all’ view). Is this possible? In short we only want collaborators to be able to view a single view (their own). It seems like pretty basic functionality but I can’t figure it out.

I love that i can add multiple photos in one record. When I add the PHOTO field to Page Designer, is there a way to independently control the size of each photo? Let’s say I have 2 photos in a record… could I make 1 photo the main photo and print it large to almost fill the page and print the other photo smaller in a different location? rather than putting both/all photos into 1 field, which forces them to scale smaller than I want… ***FEATURE REQUEST!!!

Hi All, We have product information (food industry) in Airtable and often need to contact vendors to clarify information, get updates, etc. I want to be able to email a question to the vendor and allow them to answer in a way that will import to their base (each has their own base). It’s cumbersome keeping track of the status and answers doing this separately in Gmail. So far I’ve: Set up a pending/complete field so we can flag the records that need answers Created a “Question” field and an “Answer” field Determined a few other fields (such as product name, UPC, etc) that should be included in the email. Is there a way that I can limit them to only editing the “Answer” field? Is it better to create a table for this function in each base or to create an “Email Launcher” base and link it to all the vendor bases, (then be able to select the base we want to execute from)?
