I’m trying to get a stock quote script to work for me. I’m not someone that understands scripts, but I think I have it right. Although something is wrong and not sure what. The API is from financialmodelingprep.com/developer/docs/, which I found mentioned in this forum. Hi, All the way from Australia, and I’m newish to Airtable and will probably have 100+ questions. My first one is, can I calculate how many days there are from column B e.g. Column A is the date a property was loaded online column B is how many days a property has been online… any help would be appreciated. Hi. I have a daily activity table, which I populate via a form (health tracker). I have several views against this table which show certain types of activity filtered for the last week - which I then use an email automation to send back targeted messages. All works great. However, I don’t know how to respond to inactivity. So if I don’t populate the form for a week (and therefore the table doesn’t have any entries for the last X days, how can I detect this (so that I can automate an email to remind the user to populate it again). Is there something with a max created timestamp, and then a logic check against this? Email automation is focused on a record being created or updated - I can’t think how to automate based on the absence of rows. Hope this makes sense - trying to prove this on my basic plan (for my MVP) before committing to a paid plan. Many thanks for any assistance.

How do I remove collaborators who are grayed out and seem to “come with” a template base? There are a couple templates I am trying to use but extra collaborators cannot be removed. I tried right clicking, I tried left clicking, I tried every other possibility that works in other bases and cannot remove the grayed out collaborators. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance!

Hi all - somewhat daunted by the capabilities here … and so asking if someone can point me in the right direction. My base table is straightforward - just a list of calendar events, grouped into courses. What I want to do though is have something which allows me to populate new groups of events into that table based on some predefined rules associated with each course. For instance, if I were to setup a new course of type X, that might lead to three events being created in the table at +7, +21 +28 days from the start date of the course. Type Y might only have one event at +21 days from the start date etc. There are only a a small number of course types (<10) so needn’t be too complex. However, there are a lot of instances of courses being created. Any advice? Thanks in advance.

Does anyone know how to save multiple documents into a single attachment field in Airtable. My experience has been that when you insert a document, you can only do one at a time. And if you update the attachment field, it will overwrite the existing document. Any suggestions?

Hi there, I have already asked the same question here, only the question was wrong: I have to start from decimals. I don’t find any documentation on how to accomplish this anywhere. I am not an expert in this either. So here’s the question: I have records that contain time formats in decimals, eg: 0.50 (= 30 minutes), 8.00 (= 8 hours) etc. This is a formula field. For a partner I have to convert this to the following format: 1.00 -> 0100 8.00 -> 0800 0.50 -> 0050 0.12 -> 0012 etc. So 4 digits of which the first is a ‘0’. There should be no point in between. Is there a possibility to make some fields editable by unsigned users (guests)? I want to make a wishlist of gifts and let people select which ones they will buy by changing the status of an entry to something like “Taken”. But I think it will be too much to ask people to sign up to airtable just to select one checkbox in the table. Unfortunately in “Edit field permission” there is no such possibility. Are there other ways to do it?

How do I format a field to geographic address? The dropdown does not provide me with that option. Sorry if this is a dumb question, I am new to airtable

Hello all, I’m having problems with the following search formula in integromat: {field_name}=“value” In this particular case, {field_name} is a formula field. I’ve checked the values, and the naming, and everything is correct. So I can only surmise that you can’t run a search against a formula field? Can anyone help? Drew

I have a table for Ingredients, which is stuff I use to make meals. Meals have many ingredients, ingredients can belong to many meals. Ingredients also are linked to specific Grocery Stores where I like to buy those ingredients. I have a table for Grocery Stores. And last, I have a table for ‘this week’ (here Week 39), where I select WHICH meals to have this week. Good morning everyone, I have a database of vegetables I purchased from several producers for my retail business. The database is structured as follow: one vegetable (table 1) is being procured at a price (table 2) in a specific order (table 3) from specific producer (table 4). I would need to get the past average cost of each vegetable for each producer, sth like an averageif (unit cost, past dates, producer A) To my understanding, only scripting can do that. There are two fields: 1. Category - Fruits, Vegetables. 2. Sub-Category - Apple, Mango, Potato, Onion. If I select Fruits then I should be able to see only Apple and Mango in next dropdown menu and if I select Vegetables then I should able to see only Potato and Onion in the next dropdown menu.

Hi all, I’m working on a project to build WiseCabin. I am manually adding tweets (the author name, the tweet text content, the images, etc) to airtable. We’ll be building the website on Webflow and so far I only know to add the content manually into Webflow CMS. This is obviously a very time consuming process. So perhaps my question is two fold. Is there a way I can basically grab all the contents on a embedded tweet (and its connected tweets) into Airtable, and then export the content into webflow CMS? We cannot use the embedded tweets because we will have to create our own formatting to display the tweets more akin to a Reddit list format. Thanks!

Hello My Awesome Community, I am wondering if I can grab Data from a live website like “IMDB”, I have the title Name " Movie" or “Series”, and I want the script when I run it to go surfing the IMDB database and search for certain data like Director Name, Production Year, Cast, winning nominations, Is there such a way or a script to apply that. I was thinking something like Fetch function or keywords Parser, I define some keywords and it garbs whatever after these words and sends them in specific fields in Airtable. Hello all, great to be on here, am loving the power of Airtable!! Is there a way to do the following : In a table, I have a “Single Select” Field with 5 Options, “Pitch 1” “Pitch 2” “Pitch 3” “Pitch 4” “Pitch 5” If I create a new record, the first field is a Date field, so I select a day, eg 11/01/2020 I then want to assign a “Pitch” from the “Single Select Field”, initially all 5 pitches are available to choose from. I select “Pitch 1” for this record. Record Complete. If I then create another record with the same date, there should now only be Pitches 2-5 available to choose from. i.e. the database has looked at this date and knows “Pitch 1” is used on this date so the single select will only show you the remaining Pitch options (Pitches 2-5) ? Hey - I would love to figure out a way to use the Kanban view to show if two or more records are incompatible. I’m using the Kanban to display different categories of concrete ingredients that can lower the carbon content/climate impact of concrete mixes. Each ingredient has its own tile. Some of these ingredients can be combined, others cannot. Wondering with conditional logic if a special kanban column can be added where different ingredient tiles can be dragged, and if one is not compatible with others, all incompatible tiles turn red. Here’s a 40 sec video of me laying this idea out. Any ideas on if this is possible, and if yes, how it could be pulled off would be super helpful and appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Summary: I’m working on a basic sign up process. I’m sending a POST request with the user’s UID to a table called “Sessions” to create a new record. I wish to have a certain value returned if that UID exists on another table called “Users”, and a different value returned if it doesn’t exist. ex: So if I create a new record on “Sessions”, and the UID exists on table “Users”, on column RESULT I will get “User already exists on Users table”, and if it doesn’t exist RESULT will return “This is a new user”. I’m at a loss here at this point. Any ideas?

I am trying to use the Open URL Action but the button stays greyed down and not active even though the button saves properly. Is there a way to export the list of billable collaborators a workspace owner can see in workspace settings? I’m looking for a way to pull a csv listing billable collaborators and the bases they have access to, similar to the workspace settings page, just in an external file.
