Hi, i created a map sync with a “stores” table. the stores are not placed at the right adresses.
Currently trying to integrate Airtable with Wordpress and the css selectors within the iframe don’t seem to be adjustable. I’ve tried: .sharedForm{background:#0d0d0d!important;} .formFieldAndSubmitContainer {background-color:#0d0d0d!important} .airtable-embed header {background-color:#0d0d0d!important} #modalContainer {background-color:#0d0d0d!important} .sharedForm .status { background-color:#141517!important;} .formContent {background-color:#0d0d0d!important;} None of these do anything. Anyway, I see that a few contact forms are integratable via a plugin called Zapier. However it seems these all cost quite a bit of money (200 a year for the wp Forms plan that includes Zapier). Are there any other solutions for this? Can anyone suggest a more affordable or perhaps free plugin? Or at least some way to work around the iframe content editing being blocked on wordpress. Thanks a lot!
Hi there! So, I am in a weird position where one of my collaborators is randomly deleting text records whenever she opens certain records in a base. She said she’s not clicking anything (but in the activity bar, it keeps saying she’s removing all the information). It doesn’t make any sense at all because to delete something… it’s an active thought. Has anyone experienced this?
I am new to Airtable and creating a database that is viewable to the public. Is there anyway to track how many people are using/viewing the database? Thanks.
Okay this is my formula it seems pretty self explanatory as to what I’m trying to accomplish here. So what am i doing wrong? {Final Price} * 1.15
This morning, I found in my table that two of my field types had change. One was the primary key that had been a complicated formula and now is a simple text field. Another had been a link to another field and is now a date field. How do I find out why this happened? How do I undo it? How do I find out who did it or at least who was logged in at time that it happened?
this always happens on google chrome, and microsoft edge.
I thought for sure I saw Airtable just added the new feature that we could finally link between bases - but now I can’t find it anywhere. Here’s my specific query: I have lots of film and TV projects in development set up in their own individual bases (so I can share project-specific info ONLY with the partners on each project) BUT the lay of the land research as to who the players are is “universal” - and constantly changing! LOL! I have master proprietary bases that I maintain for myself (full of my own internal research and private notes on 1) financing/distribution prospects; 2) Actors (prospective cast) - etc. that I parse-share with my partners, clients, students and readers of my books on an as-needed/as-relevant-basis - that I don’t want to share 100% with ANYBODY! BUT… I want to be able to link my master proprietary financier/distributor prospect base (say for easy example purposes: Netflix, HBO and AMC as commissioning leads for several different projects (i.e.: client projec
I would like to collaborate with an external user. The use case is getting candidate feedback from the external user on the same candidate tracker. Right now, the external user has access to an embedded view that works well, but they are unable to comment in the fields.
Is there a way to show all the fields with the field descriptions? I love the idea of the base schema app but in its current form it’s too difficult to understand. I want a way to “introduce” new users to the base and show them how it’s set up–but since we’re constantly iterating on our table designs, creating some kind of static document that keeps up with all the fields and what we’re using them for is nearly impossible. I’d really like a way to pull all the table names and descriptions, and fields and descriptions, and export/display them somehow. Is there a way to do this?
I have a table with a Main view (which has no filters) and a secondary view (which has some filters) I want to examine the history of a particular record to see when it first showed up in the secondary view. Is this possible?
I tried to downgrade to a free account and the submit button is grayed out. I try to remove my credit card and message says downgrade account. I tried to do all this yesterday and today I have been rebilled. I sent an email to support and it advised me to post on the community.
Hi there, Looking for advice on how individual members of our design team can set up their personal views to properly keep track of their own jobs. We are currently filtering by designer We are sorting by status last modified date (tells us when the job was sent back to us) We are grouping by priority: RUSH vs normal However, we seem to be lacking a way that the individual can further order their jobs in a meaningful way, without adding columns or data that will affect the main table as a whole (which is shared with the whole marketing and design team). Is there a way for me to flag certain jobs, and I’m the only one who sees that in my personal view? Is there a way for me to assign a 1-5 sub-priority order or somehow push certain jobs to the top of my list and push others down? That sort of thing. The key here is to have it only affect each personal view. Thanks for any advice!
I’m using the “Find Record” feature inside Zapier. There is a specific “Search Formula” field that theoretically should allow you to query your Airtable Base with specific criteria. Inside my base I have 6 Names that I’d like for the formula to query and select one at random. Here is a screenshot of the field I’m talking about…https://thoinfo.link/5OcjtX Is this possible?
I need to be able to update existing fields and create new records using a much more complex form than what Airtable currently offers. I need something more like an old-school multi-tabbed MS Access form, or to be able to view Airtable data through that style of interface. This is for internal record keeping, not client interface. I can’t do it with the available view formats in Airtable, and all of the alternative forms (Word Press, Google, Formstack) seem to use the same simple format as an Airtable form. Each form would correspond to a variety of chemical sampling performed for a client on a given day. I need multiple tabs for different sample types for each, and to display calculated values based on values entered. Is there a two-way on-demand sync with Google sheets or Excel that update Airtable from multiple sheets, and vice-versa? Any other ideas?
Hi everyone, I’m trying to create a page similar to the GDE Directory page (https://developers.google.com/community/experts/directory) where you can filter by regions on the map and see the list of people as blocks below the map. We have the map block working, but not sure how to go about showing them in a list of images below the map. Or even to show them on the map but not with all the data, so I need to hide some fields. Is there a way to do this or will this require writing a custom script? Is there something that already exists? Is there someone that is familiar with this and willing to create it as a quick freelance project? Thank you!
Hello! I’ve been using Airtable for some months but now, I need to get deeper! I have 3 tables. Opportunities - hundreds of products Customers - hundreds of them Matching Today, when a customer is interested in an opportunity, I fill a record within the customer line. I would like to build a pipeline (kanban) with a unique that allows me to make a followup on every opportunity that matched with a client. I’ve used automation that works fine when there’s only a match by opportunity. When there are more than one, no line is created. You will find below an example of my current CRM. Is possible to create a new id that represented every matched ? Thanks for your help!
Good morning, I am pretty new to airtable and am trying to find a way to save a subgroup (using filters) of my main table as a separate table - Similar to sheets that run along the bottom of Excel. Is there not a “save as” feature? I am using Airtable to organize the grants that our non-profit gives out. Then I want to be able to select some and save those selections - say for a particular school, or a particular year. What am I missing?
I’m using a script that generates a QR code as an attachment. Here’s the structure. The script that I use (shared by someone here) will: 1. Generate QR codes for the record as an attachment. 2. If this record already has an attachment, skip it. // Change the names of this table/fields according to your base. let submissionsTable = base.getTable('⚙️ Realizacja'); let urlField = submissionsTable.getField('barcodes4.me [URL]'); let attachmentField = submissionsTable.getField('QR Customer'); let submissionsQuery = await submissionsTable.selectRecordsAsync(); let updates = []; for (let record of submissionsQuery.records) { let url = record.getCellValue(urlField); let attachments = record.getCellValue(attachmentField); // If this record already has an attachment, skip it. if (attachments !== null) { continue; } // Otherwise, attach the image at the URL. updates.push({ id: record.id, fields: { [attachmentField.id]: [{url: url
I am making a base for food production. I have a tab with all the data on barrels (filling, emptying and so on) and I need one of the views to show only the newest entry based on date but I can not figure out how to do it
Hey there, We built a Mail Merge add-on for Airtable. Check it out! You can send personalized emails based on information in your base. It’s open-source (< 30 lines of Python), so you can edit how the entire add-on works yourself too. Here’s how to enable it: Step 1 Install Blockspring Scripts for Chrome. Step 2 Go to a base. You might need to refresh the page once you get there if you just installed the extension. Step 3 Click the icon in the bottom left to open the scripts editor. Step 4 Import the “Mail merge” template. Step 5 Wait for the template to install. This may take a bit the first time. Step 6 Sign in with Gmail. Step 7 Close the editor then click on mail_merge in your base. Step 8 Fill out the form! You’ll need to select a column of emails, enter a subject line, and then write your email template (check out the video below for examples - it uses the mustache library). Here’s a video showing how the add-on works. Enjoy! And shoot us some feedback once you get a c
Hi all Is there any way of blocking a card from moving to the next stack until a checkbox field on the card is ticked? We’d like to make sure a number of checkbox fields are ‘done’ before a card can be moved to the next stack. Thanks - Jon
Yes I’m new. I have created a base with a table of all sales transactions, one item per line. So for example, an order with 4 different items would have 4 records, each with SKU, quantity, price paid, order date, etc. In the grid view, I’ve got a filter set up to specify an order date range, and I created a group by SKU so that we can see the total sales for each item. I want employees to be able to view the file, set a date range, and print it if necessary. However the filter is not available in the view share, and all roads seem to lead to being at least a full base collaborator to be able to set the date range. That’s too much, um, power. Am I missing something about sharing, or is there a better way to specify the date range?
Hi there! Does anybody know if there’s a way to specify more than one email domain when providing access to a view? Our company uses three different email domains due to how our organization is organized. Thank you.
I use Elementor Pro + Dynamic Content for Elementor to make forms for websites. With it, I can make style forms so that multiple fields appear on a single line and so that there’s less space between lines – which would make the bookseller form I’m creating way less intimidating to my data-entry partner. Can I use the Export feature in my form to get the data into Airtable? And if so, what should I enter into these settings to make it work… ENDPOINT URL: PORT: METHOD (GET, POST, or HEAD): ENABLE SSL CERTIFICATE VERIFY (Y/N): I really hope someone here has answers, because it’s far harder to get support from Elementor and Dynamic Content than it is to get support from Airtable and its community. Also really hoping the only answer is NOT Zapier because I can’t afford to add more Zaps to my account there. :grimacing: ETA: Alternately, is there a way to style Airtable forms from within?
