Hi there, I’ve been trying to wrap my head around this problem but I haven’t found a solution yet. Hopefully, someone in the community can point me in the right direction. I have a base with: Events (date of the event, type of the event and so forth) Artists (name, surname, etc + the event date from the other table as a lookup field) I’d like to see if an artist is available for a specific date and the best way to visualize it. Maybe color filters in a calendar view? But how could I do a search of an artist and return it something like: available, not available. Is this possible?

Hey everyone, Is the Inline Mode in the Page Designer no longer supporting fields that are Lookup Fields ? I have several blocks where I have it working but now when trying to do a new block I cannot see it. BR, Mo

hi, I’m trying to set up the new automations - specifically send an email when a record has a specific status. One thing I’d like to is is add conditional templates into the email - including for example, each person’s name into the email as fields on email. How do you do so? Best, Jordana

I need to run some calculations off of the results of a DATETIME_DIFF field. The problem is some of the fields are populated with time spans and some have NaN. I am unable to calculate anything with an NaN. My thought was to first ask if the first date was an empty field, and if so, to simply state 0. If there is a date, it would render the number of days since that date has passed. If (Delivered = BLANK(), 0, DATETIME_DIFF(TODAY(), Delivered, ‘days’)) So if I needed to calculate how much money I’ve spent on renting an item, I could take the number of days since it was delivered and multiply it by the price. Items which were not rented would not need to add to the cost. As far as I could tell, this formula should work. Can you please show me where I am going wrong?

Is it possible to have emails sent to a specific email address sync automatically with Airtable? Most CRM have this feature. We’d like to include sent emails on our individual airtable records. Thanks, Jim

Is there a column that works like Last Updated but only update the date and time stamp only when the call is made? Not just minor changes in comment or some minor change.

I’m having trouble with setting up better security here for critical/confidential data. I setup Tables with permissions for only myself to add/delete records. I setup every Field with permissions for only specific people to update data in the fields they own. Everyone else is set to “commenter” role (which is the most worthless feature btw) to allow them to read only but still have access to personal views. my dilemmas: Is there a way to not allow anyone to create share links or add users? I found out that some commenters and editors were able to add users or share links on their own without my approval, which is incredibly unsafe. Surely there must be a way to limit this to Creator role or disable for specific roles? Is there a way to allow users to create personal views, but only with shown fields? For example if I setup a table with a lot of backend fields that I control, but only want users to see the shown fields. I still

Hi, I would like to have only unique values (email) in my Primary Field. So If users will try to add an already (in the table) existing email, they should not be able to save the record (line). Is it possible? Jakub

Is it possible within the Airtable UI to mask the sharable table view URL’s? For example, I want the read-only table view to look like it’s coming from our company rather than https://airtable.com/shriMSKhDA… Thanks.

Column C combines 2 fields (Column A&B) that contain email addresses. When I select Column C as the main email recipients in Sendgrid app, it sends separate emails to each individual in column C. However, if I select column C to cc: my emails, it correctly sends a single email to all recipients. I would like ONE email to be sent to all the people in column C in the “To” field in sendgrip. Can anyone explain why this is happening and help me find a solution? Thanks!

I used to be able to filter my columns, but now the sort and filter buttons have disappeared and I’m not sure how to get them back. TIA for the help!

Hi, I work at a career-focused high school. We encourage students to participate in work-based learning activities like job tours, mentorship, internships, certifications, etc. I’d like to for each student to have a private profile as a form they can edit throughout HS to track their accomplishments. I could probably do this with Google Forms Sheets but I was wondering if there was an advantage to using Airtable? Thanks!

I am using grouping in several of my views and I was looking at the “guide to grouped records” page from Airtable and saw that I should be able to hide no grouped records - so records that are empty in the field I’m grouping by. I went to do that, and I do not have that icon on my grouping dropdown. I saw that if I changed the field I’m sorting by to something else, it appears. The fields I’m trying to sort by are “calculated fields” and I only want to see the records in these views if those values have been calculated, otherwise I don’t want to see them. Hi all, I’m trying to figure out a way where we can manage comments or mentioned. For example, currently, when someone mentions me in a topic/entry in a comment. I only see it on the activity tab on the home page. Is there another place to see all mentions? Can I build a dashboard or a table to manage that?
