Look like I am either lucky winner … or all if you are already winners and I have been living in a cave. Seems random accounts not get the Creator plan. The account I am posting now was created 2 months ago intended for community and nothing else and it got the creator plan (I didn’t even know that, otherwise I would have used this for my bases). Yet, today I created another Airtable account (different username) and it also got the Creator plan. So that’s fantastic. I have 2 older accounts they are normal Free accounts. I am planning to move the bases to this creator account. There is little information about these Creator plans so I wanted to share my findings. The screenshot below shows what it includes. My question was - Question is: Q 1. Can I lose the creators plan? The description from AirTable (see screenshot below) says : "Any workspaces you create in your account (where you are the sole user) will automatically be on the Creator plan." When inserting an image to attachment field, is there a way to link a url reference? I am creating a base that features mythological creatures. One field has images. I need to be able to credit an artist or website for the images used. I considered adding a record to the table, but many of the attachment fields will have more than 1 image. Creating 3 or 4 fields to add a reference to each of the images in the record seems daunting. I had poor luck searching for this answer as the word “reference” in my meaning (to credit the original location item was found) is different then the common airtable usages. I hope I used correct terminology with records/fields ect. I’m not confident in speaking this subject.

I duplicated a table. All of my field headers are aligned. I am using the CSV app to import 89 new records in the duplicated table. It processes and says ‘success’, but the fields are not populating. No filters, no grouping, etc are on. I’m so stumped! Anyone have ideas what is going?

I’m using Airtable to create a content management system for my company’s blog. Many blogs entries have multiple topics so I’m using the multiple select function to organize that. Problem is, when I go to group by categories it doesn’t sort by each option, rather by the grouping of options. For example: Blog A can fall under the category of “Topic A” and “Topic B”. When I sort by group I’d like it to sort into all things that fall into “Topic A” in one section, and all things that sort into “Topic B” in another. But when I sort it categorizes it as “Topic A & Topic B”. Is there are way to fix this sorting option?

There is a complete table with a list and data of the people of the event participants, the task is to make it possible for volunteers to be able to put a checkbox in the table after the guests arrive, but to make a limited view for them, show only the necessary columns, without the possibility of correcting other data, only the checkbox on participation in the event, how to do it

Hello I’m new to AT, so I’m just feeling my way. I have a base recording bookings we get from schools who want to visit us. I send a school who wants to come to us a link to a booking form view that they fill in themselves to create a new booking record initially. Once they have done that we add bits and pieces of data behind the scenes. One of the things we need to do is book staff against the school booking, but that is something someone else takes care of. Previously I would have manually completed a form in Word and mailed it to my colleague as a prompt to book staff, but I am hoping Airtable can make this process unnecessary. I would like to be able to have myself and my colleague automatically emailed when we get a new booking added by a school via the form, to prompt her to look at the staffing requirements. She is the owner of the workspace the base is in, but can I add her as a collaborator to every record in this base automatically and have AT ping us both an email to say ‘a

I noticed on the About Airtable Sync page, it says this: Field types that will not sync Authenticated attachments. What are authenticated attachments? Is this a new feature coming soon to Airtable? :slightly_smiling_face:

Hello everybody! Sorry if the question is too basic, I’m new to airtable… I’m trying to keep the wine inventory of my restaurant in airtable, and use a shared grid view to show the wine menu. During Covid situation we cannot use paper menus and we have a QR code so client use its own phone to read it. I have all items sorted by wine type using groups, then price… it works great. The question is: can I add the group name in top of the item list? The list is quite long and non-expert clients will get lost (they are using a smartphone to read). It would be great to have something like: White wines: xxxx xxxx xxxx Red wines: xxx xxx “White wines” and “Red wines” are coming from a single select field which I use to group them. Any comments or recommendations will be very much appreciated. Thank you very much and keep safe!! Angel

Hopefully simple question here, but can someone please help me figure out how to pull data into an AirTable cell from a website? I would like to automatically pull the number of followers a company had on LinkedIn into a cell on AirTable. I have been trying with Web Clips and help documentation thus far but haven’t gotten anything to work. Thanks so much!

I’m using Android 7.0. I can install and open the app fine, but immediately after I try to sign in, the app stops. Anyone else had this problem, and know of a solution? Thanks.

We have an app on one of our bases that shows a Pivot graph: Each bar represents the values for a specific workweek - 20.35 all the way to 20.39 We want the bars to be sorted by week from left to right. So week 20.35 will be leftmost, week 20.36 to the right of it and so on. I have not found anything in the settings that allows it. Any ideas? Thanks!

I have several records that have multiple attachments. These attachments are all PDF, Word or Excel documents. When I expand the record and click on the first attachment, it opens just fine. However, when I click on the 2nd or 3rd, it opens the first one. The only way to view the 2nd or 3rd is to use the arrows. I attach two screen shots to show you how a record with two documents shows the first one, even if I click on the 2nd one first. Downloading and deleting works just fine. Another intriguing fact is that if the record contains more than 3 attachments, the process works correctly.

Hi, I have a form that includes a linked field that references a table full of items. The items in the table all have a unique id and a human-friendly name. When I add the linked field to the Airtable form it defaults to showing the item id in the dropdown box which isn’t very user friendly. Is there a way I can force Airtable to show the item name rather than the id?

Quick question for the community. Is it possible to get metrics on an Airtable gallery embedded to a Wix page. I would like to track the number of views per gallery item if that is possible. Thanks for the help.

Hello My Awesome Community. I am having a task at the moment to send an attachment pdf Print from a gallery view in Airtable, or send an excel attachment on a daily or weekly bases in an Email form. Is there a way I can Automate an email with either of these attachments ( Excel or PDF) on a daily or weekly bases? I know how to set a trigger time with Zapier Schedule and send an email, My problem is with the attachment itself, I have Zapier and on2air solutions as a premium account. and I hope if Airtable new automation feature can provide that, Thanks a lot for your time guys.

I have a table that was set up in a “wide” format. It tracks quarterly and annual reports from organizations. The person who set it up used the organization as the key, and then has Attachment-class columns for each quarter, Q1-2020, Q2-2020, etc., with the relevant report in each field. I’d like to convert this table to a “long” format one row per organization per quarter, with a single Attachment-class column. I’m used to calling this operation “pivoting” or “reshaping” the table, but I can’t seem to get the Pivot Table App to do anything useful for this goal. Currently, there are about 16 organizations and 12 quarter columns, so it’s doable by hand, but I’d much prefer an automated solution. (And there are a couple other wide tables I’d like to convert to long format as well). Is there a good way to do this? So I’m just adding more content to my table with the same format as the first set data I copy pasted from my sheets, but now it’s automatically removes a column containing website links and does not fill the 2 other columns - State and City. What do I need to do?

Was wondering if anyone had ever come across some resource that can create a calendar icon based on the value of a date field. Hello, Is there a way to restore mass deleted records? Im using the restore button in the trash base but it was enough data that Airtable runs into an error and I need to refresh the page before the records get restored. Is there any way to restore the records without restoring to a snapshot?
