Hi everyone, I’m trying to create a PDF generation automation. I have a number of PDF “concept notes” each of them tied to a particular option I’d like to list in a form. I would like users to be able to use a multi-select option in the form to select which concept note they would like to be emailed, and have the automation merge all the options they selected into a single PDF, then email that to the user. I’m not sure how to design the automation to search for the docs (in a Google Drive) based on the form responses. How would you go about setting up such an automation? Any feedback or ideas welcome! Hello All! I want to share a workspace with collaborators. Each collaborator will be able to access to a selection of grid views. They will be able to edit the content of the cells of the grids but I don’t want them to be able to create a new grid, or kaban etc… I don’t want them to see also “automation menu”. In one word I want them not feeling to be in airtable but more in a saas software with only few options. Do you think it’s possible? Moreover I created a dashboard. But I have the feeling that the only way to see the dashboard is to clic on “blocks” button in the top right corner but it don’t display it in full screen, it’s not really user friendly. Do you know if it’s possible display a dashboard in a user friendly way? Many thanks for your help!

Can someone explain the relevance of the calendar display when the records displayed show the date (see pix). It would be more relevant to show a name or a phone number or some other info other than the date. Am I missing something here?

One hour event just takes a lot of space in my calendar window. How can I change it default to only 5 mins ?

Hello, I am new to Airtable but want to use it to inform my content strategy. This requires me to be able to replicate and update my WordPress website in Airtable. I would like to: List item Create a record all of the current posts, their categories and status (draft, published etc.). I gather I can just export them as XML or CSV and import them into Airtable List item Update the Airtable table when the status of posts are change. E.g. if a post that has a draft status in WordPress is published, the status on the Airtable record should update to “Published”. Similarly, if the category is changed on Wordpress post, this should update and reflect on the Airtable record. I understand that there are Zapier integrations that should be able to do this. Hi all - I’m trying to use the new “automations” feature so that I can have one “master” table containing a data set, and then one or more copies of that data in the same base, such that updating a record in the master table makes the corresponding changes in the copy/copies. I can’t seem to work out how to do this. Since you have to specify a record ID in the “action”, I can only set it up so that changing record A, B, C, D, etc in Table 1, updates record A in Table 2. I need to set it so that changing record A in table 1 updates record A in table 2; changing record B in table 1 updates B in table 2, etc. Seems like this must be possible?

Hi, I’ve gotten all other fields to pull the correct info from Table A into Table B when triggered, but for some reason the simple text field is not pulling and showing up. Any ideas if this is a bug?

Hello, I’m trying to have a couple of “children” tables (restaurant, hotel, coffee shops) with the same colone format (name, adresse, contact info) all gathered in one “mother” table. The idea would be that when we add or modify a reccord in the “children” table, it adds or modify the same reccord in the “mother” table automaticaly. Its like my “mother” table is a mirror of my “children” tables. If anyone knows if its possible I would love to have a tips because i haven’t cracked it.

Hi I want to make automation that changed a date. Trigger: If “start” date if before today Action: change “start” date to one week from now My question is: how do a make an action that changes a date?

When using the GANTT block is there a way to lock the dates of an individual start and end date of an item? I want to prevent an item that has a predecessor getting automatically moved if I adjust the predecessor in a way that violates the time dependency. I want the line showing the dependency to change to a red dashed line instead to highlight the problem, in the same way as it is highlighted when a dependency is first created is highlighted if the dates of the two items are incompatible.

Hello, Is it possible to have a Single Select include an option for “other” that contacts can customize? So if their choice is not in the drop-down menu, they would choose “other” and an input box would appear for them to enter their response. Thanks!

Hello - I’m an admitted newbie and am having a hard time figuring out how to link the tables in a base that I am using. I am a professional genealogist and take record retrieval requests - could be a number of different kinds of records with different fields needed for information within each. Thank you in advance for your assistance :slightly_smiling_face: When I take a record request, the Client information stays the same, and I want to ask some core questions first as to the type of record retrieval request, what kind of copy they need, when they need it, etc. then LINK that initial request entry that contains the client info over to the specific kind of record they are requesting (each is it’s own table). I thought that should be through the unique auto number but then I need to carry the name, email and phone over, but I’m not seeming to make that work? Hi! I’m setting up a form. One question of the form is a drop down showing options from another table (linked table). When I look at the drop down options from the form view, I see the multiple look up fields. However, when I look at the drop down on the live form, I only see the first column of the looked up record. How can I display more fields so this selector matches the one I see in the form view? Hi, I’m looking for assistance in creating a formula that can show all our options for Inventory Location - Basically, at an Account, In House, or with a one-time buyer (that I don’t want to create an entire account for.) If an Account is chosen (through a linked field), return that value. If a value is input in a separate Retail Buyer column (single line text), return that value. If both those fields are empty, return text “In House.” The simple IF formula works to show Account or “In House”: IF({Account}>"", {Account}, “In House”) …but I can’t figure out how to turn this into a nested formula that will provide the third option of a typed in Retail Buyer. Struggling with parabola ‘send to api’ module while trying to update an airtable table. I’m doing an update (patch) and I’m trying to send some numerical values. { "records": [ { "id": "{inventory record id}", "fields": { "sku":"{sku}", "in stock":"{in stock}", "prev stock":"{prev stock}", "updated":"{updated}" } } ] } If I send this I get an error stating that the ‘in stock’ and ‘prev stock’ can’t accept the values (because airtable is seeing the values as text trying to be inserted into a number field). This works fine when creating records (Post) as I use typecast: true. It doesn’t work for Patch though even if I add typecast: true. It throws a different error. Hallo I would like to generate a simple invoice or delivery note from an order form in airtable I have a small plant shop. www.pflanzerei-zuerich.ch Customers should be able to pic some plants from a database and send me a order. I would like to print this order and prepare the plants for pick-up. I tryed already with some items but was not able to integrate the wished quantity of items, the price and the final calculaltion. Is there a template for this problem. I think it is the basic need every little store has. My goal would be, that the customer can click in the inventory gallery (form) on some items, add quantity and send me this order form with his name and adress… Below you will see some screenhots and links. This window shows up when I click the link from my calendar. From here, I shoudl be able to jump to the record from here and edit it easily, rather than look for the record and then do the stuff manually. Please look into this.

Question about the Jotform integration: can one form entry create multiple new records in Airtable? Or is the integration restricted to creating one new record per form entry? Thanks!
