Hi all I created a bunch of bases and invited collaborators to these and I now have to create 10 more bases that need the same collaborators. Is there an easy way to add these existing people to the new bases without having to invite them again? Thanks Claire

I got a bunch of values fro each collaborator in my base which I need to summarise pr month. Down the ‘Y-Axis’ I got my collaborators. My problem is I can’t get the ‘X-Axis’ - the month name to sort properly (see below). Ideally I just want the month name showing, but it seems I can only sort those in alphabetical order. Then I tried to add the month number to the month name in the hope it’ll sort on the month number, but as you can see December for some reason comes between July and September. Is there no way that I can just sort the month names from Jan → Dec?

Which video file types are supported for attachments? When I upload a “.mov” file, and I view it, it says it’s unsupported and I can’t view the video. I can only download it. But with “.mp4” it’s fine.

Hi All, I am currently working on leave submissions for the company I work for and I am trying to set up auto emails for approved leave. Currently I have all the information in however, when it is anyone apart from me getting approved I am getting an input error? Anyone know what I’m doing wrong? Thanks for the help! JA

Hi all, My automation is meant to send reminder emails to users containing a date field and a formula field. The fields below and circled in red in the image are not displaying in the email. Next Year = {Current Year} + 1 -> current year is a number field Target Renewal Date = static date field I’m confused because the Contract End Date field is the same format at the Target Renewal Date field and is displaying just fine. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I am seriously about to pull my hair out. I have an automation set to create a new record which is triggered when another record enters a view. All is going swimmingly until i try to get the automation to copy the UPC field to the new record. I’ve tried formatting as a number, text, single select… I have other fields that are also formatted in a similar nature, and they are copying over just fine. I don’t see any other characters in the cells. I might seriously launch my computer across the room!!!

Hi! I have two Dates columns, “START” and “END” that specify the start and end dates for a particular task. I have another column that has a WORKDAY_DIFF formula that calculates the working days between these two dates to determine how many days it will take to accomplish this task. However, if “START” and “END” were across different months, how would I separate the working days spent by month? For example, if the “START” of the task was 10/30/2020 and the “END” of the task was 11/5/2020, the WORKDAY_DIFF between these two dates is 4.0. However, how do I specify/separate the WORKDAYS spent in October (1.0) and the WORKDAYS spent in November (3.0)? Is there a formula, or way I can structure my table to identify how many days per month a task will cost?

I have the below formula, which I had support creating. I now need to add one additional rule. I would like to add that if todays date is after {Next Renewal Date (from X Customers)} then the cell should read STAGE 5 - Closed. I have attempted this in the 2nd formulae below and it works but it is also putting ‘Stage 5 - Closed’ against all the dates that are in the future too, which is wrong as todays date is not after these dates in the future. Hopefully this makes sense, help would be greatly appreciated as the guy that normally helps me is OoO now for 2 weeks! Thanks! Made a post which was immediately flagged. Surprised as my post seemed pretty routine, nothing inflammatory. Reviewed the guidelines and noticed: "Please respect that this forum is owned and operated by Airtable, and as such, we will remove any posts promoting the use of other services as a replacement for Airtable. It says I have 15 minutes to edit my post. I tried editing, but it’s greyed out, even when I click the edit icon. I removed one sentence requesting alternate tools. I then reposted. Flagged again. What’s going on? Never had this issue when posting before. Did a search and found this topic: ‘Flagged’ posts. Seems like this issue still exists. How to contact a moderator to overcome this hurdle? I’m not even sure that this is possible, nor how I would go about it. When I create a new client in AirTable, I need to create several views in several tabs for that client (those views are for different people in the company). Is there a way to script this as automatic or as a script block? Thank you!

I’d like to strip the domain from the email address. It can be done with RIGHT, LEN, and FIND in Excel but I’m having trouble translating it to Airtable. Can anyone help?

When restricting a share and requiring a password, does the user need to enter the password once, and that user is remembered as “authenticated”, or do they need to enter the password upon every visit? (I’m embedding the view into a web page)

Hello, does anyone know how i can view the line items/response entries in data form? We sent out a survey via airtable and want to analyze the summary for each question. Ideally we want to see the percentage of each response. Similar to how Survey Monkey shows us the percentage and the number of people that made that selection. Ex: 50 people out of 100 said “yes” 50% etc. Is there a way we can view these numbers in airtable?

I added some people to my worspace but they don’t appears in my column “collaborators”, in this column the unique option to add is me (creator of table). How I can put enable my collaborators?

We are having a problem sending rows of data to a couple clients. This works in all instances except for two cases: In one case, we send 1 or more rows (right-click on the row and choose send all selected records. We select the “send a copy to myself” option. For one client, they do not receive the email and we do not get the copy. For a different client, we get the copy that we requested but they do not get their copy. In this case, I forward the email that came to me, to them, and it gets there no problem. Both clients claim they have no filters or blocks on the airtable or our domain. They fact that we do not get the requested copy in once instances is very odd. Even if the client was blocking and/or filtering those emails, I should receive my copy. Has anyone run into anything like this? Thanks, Matthew Moran

Hello, I had changed the “Edit Field Permissions” to “Specific Users”, because I did not want people changing information in a specific column. Unfortunately, it seems like it restricted people from making any changes to the entire table, so I changed it back to editors and up. My co-workers are still have problems making changes to the table, like moving columns or rows around. They were not having this problem prior to changing the “Edit Field Permissions.” What could be the problem?

When I have recently shared a view (with commenter access) to one of my personal email addresses, the first time I click on the link it takes me to the view I want to share. The second time I click on the link sent, it opens up my whole workspace with access. What am I doing wrong?

I am creating a catalog of sheet music for some musical groups I play in. It has a main table with all the usual information to be expected (title, composer, arranger, etc.) plus some additional info, such as alias names and associated works or titles. All the information is either directly stored in the table, or is in a linked table (composers and arrangers, for example). The alias and associated works are useful. Some examples of these associations are: The title, “It’s the Hard Knock Life”, also has an entry in the associated works field indicating that it is associated with “Annie”. The title “Ukrainian Bell Carol” has an alias entry as “Carol of the Bells”. The “Hallelujah Chorus” has an associated entry indicating it is part of the oratorio “Messiah”. Hello, I have started using Airtable recently and I find it quite useful. I am trying to create a structure as below: Company [All the companies that I worked/work with] ==> Project [All the projects that I have worked/working] ====> Tasks [All the tasks for different projects] To achieve the relation, I have used ‘Link to another record’ field type. I am able to relate Company table with Project, Project table with Tasks. On the Tasks table I am able to see the Project they are associated with, but on the Tasks table, I am not able to display the Company associated with the project for which the tasks are. Can you please guide me how I can establish this structure?

I’m capturing some insights from a focus group and I have columns representing the participants. I want to add tags for each insight, but I’d like to reduce the number of columns needed to accomplish this. Is there a way I can add the multiple select field type feature to long text fields? Thanks!
