Has background color? how add font color and background color?

Form question for you all. I need to capture phone number on an Airtable form however I can't figure out how to require it be entered as a 10 digit number so that area code is captured. The Phone number field type does not require the response to be 10 digits. I'm open to using the Formula field type however can't find a formula to use that would require 10 digits. Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have received a support request from one of my organisation’s users, copied below. Does anyone have any suggestions? Do AirTable forms bug on some browsers, for example? Other users have used the form and we have received the data. I’m going to presume the answer is “no”, but is there really no way to wrap the text (esp title text) of a card when presented in kanban or gallery view? Has anyone found the CSS rules that can be changed in Developer Tools, perhaps?

Since space is limited, is there a way to limit file sizes for files uploaded via forms? Thanks.

I want to show a shared table view with shared table view link at the office on a TV in Kiosk mode. I have a Raspberry Pi running a browser in Kiosk mode to power the TV. Here’s the question: does the shared view auto-update itself? If I just leave running on TV, and then edit some info in my computer, are those edits reflected on the TV? I guess I could hack the browser to automatically refresh itself, but it would be more convenient if the shared links already worked like that :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi, using the Free version I'm trying to import a  15MB Excel sheet into an existing base with four tables (3-6 records per table) but I get the following message:"testfile.xlsx exceeds maximum allowed size of 5 MB"I assume this is a limit of the Free version? If so; what are the filesize limits of Team and Business versions?

  One of my bases mentions "Over Limits · 30 days left" / This base has gone over the record limit. To keep adding records, upgrade your workspace.I sill can add new records... what will it happen now?Do i have 30 days to remove or to move records out of the base? 

Is there a way I can export my airtable base to firebase without having to pay a fee? I tried using Rowy, but that needs an API and airtable doesn't allow that anymore.Then I tried to set up an automation to google docs within airtable, but to create a google doc requires a paid account.I don't want to continually sync data, just a one time export so that I can use the data in another way from firebase.How do I get my data out?!! 

Hi all! First time poster, hoping someone can explain to me why I cannot figure this out based on my lurking on other threads.I have a table (below) tracking information about tours we coordinate. We track the Presenters on each tour and a count field, so I can sum the total number of presenters across all our tours. However, I want to get the number of UNIQUE presenters across all the tours. e.g. if Vivaldi's Four Seasons and Romeo & Juliet both have "Shire of Cue" as a Presenter, how can I make sure it only gets counted once?To make matter more complicated, I'm hoping to have this unique count number be on the same table as the rest of the information, because otherwise I can't access it easily when building a dashboard interface.Appreciate any and all suggestions!

I am designing with softr portals for my teachers. They don't access airtable but interact with data through softr. For assessments I would like then to be able to edit all records more like a spreadsheet way,vseeing 20 records for 20 students for example and being able to grade them all without having to edit record one by one as they could do with an airtable access m is there any way, platform, existing I did this ?I’m designing teacher portals using Softr, where teachers interact with data through Softr rather than accessing Airtable directly.For assessments, I’d like teachers to have a spreadsheet-style view, allowing them to see multiple records at once (for example, 20 students' records) and enter grades efficiently across all records without needing to edit each one individually. Hello!I have a table that has multiple tabs. If on Tab A, I have a column of costs, am I able to link the sum of that column to a cell on Tab B?I know that I cannot use Airtable like I do Excel, but I am trying to do it anyway because I really love working on Airtable.!!thank you for your help!  

I've had a simple "LInk to Another Record" field working flawlessly for years.  All of a sudden it stopped working correctly., sometime between 9/27/24 and 10/31/24 . I give you the dates because I'm almost certain that there was a note from Airtable that popped up in the last week or two about new AI features, and I see that on the Link to Another Record field there is a new option that wasn't there before--to use AI (see attached screenshot).AI addition or not, here's the behavior:- On existing records, it's still working, sort of. Although if I change the field (Field 1) it is using to select a field from the target table, it doesn't grab the new record.- On a new record, The Link to Another Record does not bring in the record field. So on new records, I now have to out my cursor in the Link to Another Record field, and manually select the record I need.Any ideas?   

In the new forms section there is no way to sort your form title in the left forms list.Allow sorting of these forms both by drag and drop AND alphabetize like we do all the time with fields like single selects. Thank you!mpollock@olamilaunch.org

Hello,I was notified by Airtable today that I am part of a minority of users using way too much API on the free tier, costing Airtable money. The email instructed me to look at my offending workspace. Unfortunately, the workspace sums all base APIs but does not break down percentage used by individual bases, making it impossible to tell which is the offender. How do I find out which base is hammering the limit? How much API limit will I get if I upgrade to team? Why is this information so cryptic?Thank you in advance,-API Hog

Hello, I run a small business that produces a variety of hemp-based products in south India. We buy the seeds from the Himalayas and press hemp seed oil which also gives us the flour. With these two raw materials we currently produce up to 14 food and body-care products. These products are distributed locally and throughout India, retail and wholesale, brick and mortar stores and e-commere. I need a system that can help us keep track of all the orders, sales, stores, customers, stock, packaging, etc… For example a delivery is made to a local shop of 3 x oil, 5 x pasta, 8 x soap. I’d like that information to be recorded including the date. An automatic tally would give us the total sales of each outlet for each month. The 3 x oil, 5 x pasta, 8 x soap would also automatically be deducted from our stock total and potentially the packaging stock. So far we haven’t used any system at all, and it’s becoming unmanageable! I’ve understood that once all the data has been put in, Airtable is abl

I am trying out Norton Secure VPN. I encountered two problems. Neither of these occurred with my previous VPN (NordVPN). I have a table with a single field that is “single line text.” The table is sorted on that field and “keep sorted” is selected. When I added a new entry, it was not sorted into place, but rather stayed as the final entry in the table. When I tried to input a new entry in a more complex table via a form, a blank entry was added, without all the information that I entered on the form. Has anybody else experienced these problems, possibly with a different VPN? Thanks, Hershel

Is it clear to anyone if a team of 7 for example, can pool all of their Airtable AI credits together and use them even if it is just one user who is pressing "Generate" each time? I have read all of the documentation + reached out to Support and they have not yet answered this seemingly easy question.My guess would be that you could but want to make sure before we put into production.  

Hey guys,I am trying to calculate out hours for our personnel worked on projects each day. We only have the start and end dates of projects, we were not tracking hours individually so this'll be a rough estimate at the end of the day. Here what I'm working with:Project Tracker table: This is the hub for all the project information including the start date and end date for each project. It links to the personnel table through a crew linked field.Personnel table: Contains all the information about a person.What I'm looking for:I need to calculate from a persons allotted 8 hours how many hours were worked on each project for each day. These hours will be split evenly to total 8 hours. The final numbers would show us:- Person total hours per project- Project Total hours from all personnelHere's a visual of what I'm thinking (not how it would look in airtable) Hopefully this makes sense. Please let me know if anyone has any idea on how to accomplish this.Thanks!

I am looking up a field from another table but it comes in as a text value. I would like it to be clickable like the linked fields so I can jump directly to the record. Any ideas how to do that?

I have an automation email that I am trying to include a personalised fallout form link inside the html of the email. The other html features like the header image as well as the dynamic link to pull in first name works. this is the code for the personalised link. Access Your AccountPlease don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or need assistance.  <a href=" invoice link "> December Invoice </a>(see attached image of true setup)  Invoice Link works as expected when I click it from the table. What happens when I send a preview of this is that is links back to the airtable base. Invoice Link is a formula, so I thought that was the issue, and duplicated it into a single line text filed and got the same result. Any hints on how to correct this?Eric

Hello- Under the PRO plan, it has a check mark next to it that says custom branded forms - “Customize with your logo and brand, remove Airtable logo”. Where do you do this? Thanks! Scott
