When in data view I click a button that opens a URL, each time a new tab opens. To avoid that, I tried the trick of pressing the ⌥ button while clicking the button, but this time a .TXT file gets downloaded onto my computer on the clicking of the button.This is quite annoying, especially when you have to perform a button clicking multiple times. Do you have any solutions in store to circumvent this?I would appreciate your help on this.PS: I saw that this topic had already been covered in previous threads. But I thought that Airtable might have fixed this since the last time it was brought up.

Hello, I am new to airtable. I need help with records. I have created 1250 records in my table even though i am on freeplan. I am not sure if i should add more rows records or not? 

I've been using AT for a few years now and have begun to really use the automation and other tools that make it easy to share info with others outside of my organization.One thing that continues to happen is I send a note via the Send Record option from a grid which includes all the pertinent info the recipient needs. But at the bottom of each email it also has a link "view in airtable." Clients are now trying to click it and gain access to our base, which is not needed for them to see the info (its all in the email).... Is there a way to remove the "view in airtable" link that automatically appears?(PS - I'm doing this as an ad-hoc manual task, not an automation) 

Hoping this is an easy enough set-up! I’m trying to create volunteer sign-ups for specific events, where there will be a fixed list of approved volunteers that can sign-up (so they would select their name from a linked field). Aside from manually closing out the form after a certain number of sign-ups, is there a way to indicate that we have 10 slots available and turn it off after that time?

My first post! This community has been very helpful. I’m still fairly new to airtable and hope someone can help with this problem. I have a Google Sheet with a date field, a start time field, and a stop time field. I want to import it into a table with 2 fields: {date and start time} and {stop time}. I tried to join fields in google sheets, then upload, but it only uploads the date correctly, and the time is ‘12:00am’. I’ve tried different date/time formats, but that hasn’t worked, and made the problem worse in some cases. For example it only works with the 12 hr format, when I tried 24 hour, neither the date nor time uploaded. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hello all! I have a two part problem for you. Our team is trying to figure out a way of syncing multiple tables, across different bases, into a singular table that will collect project information ( specifically start and end dates, capacity hours, etc) about each project we have running across the different project bases. This newly created table should be dynamic in updating its information as it is actively changed within those exterior bases and tables. With this newly developed table, we wanted to then create a timeline view that measures team capacity (in workable hrs per week vs. how many hours each task takes to complete) across all of the collective projects. Ideally, this information is synced from the newly created table that is acting as a hub and contains all of this information from other bases. Is this at all possible within Airtable, or have any workarounds been found to tackle a similar problem? Thank you!

Hi! looking for help using Integromat - i’ve been trying to use Gmail Watch function and extract the attachment to Airtable but couldn’t get it working. What should I choose ? just click “choose” and select the attachment doesn’t seem to work. If I click Map and then add item, what should I select in the file URL? I selecting the attachment but it doesn’t work either. Thank you for any advice!

I have a base for supervisors to approve staff requests. I'd like it so supervisors cannot see each others requests or notes. So I have built an interface that is set so they can only see 'Viewers records only,' which is looking at the field: Supervisor, which is a user field. So now I need to add my supervisors to the user field but I cannot see how to do that without adding them to the base itself, which I don't want them to have access to. It will let me add them one by one via their email and it says it won't add them to the base, but I need them in the actual dropdown (for automation purposes). Is there a way to do this? I'm finding it hard to believe that I can shut down access to the base for privacy (by not adding them as collaborators), OR shut down access to the interface for privacy (by using the 'viewers records only' feature), but not both?!

Hi! I am working with a team member to embed a Vega-lite visualization into Softr using data from Airtable, and we have successfully been able to figure out how to embed the visualization in Softr, but we want the visualization to display different data for each project. When users sign into Softr, they create a project so all of their data is attached to it in Airtable, but we can’t figure out how to modify the embed code so that it pulls data related to a specific project. Does anyone have any ideas on how to go about this issue?

Because we went from an Enterprise Scale subscription to a free one. It seems like in March 2024, we switched automatically from our Enterprise Scale subscription to a free one. We hadn't reach the date of renewal at the time (May 2024).What does the quantity refers to ? I need to ensure no dates in my base land on a weekend or holiday. I’m trying to use the WORKDAY(startDate, numDays, [holidays]) formula to accomplish this. However… issues. I’m using “0” as numDays since I do not want to add any days if the date already lands on a working day. This does not move the date however if it lands on a weekend or holiday. If I change numDays to “1”, then the date automatically moves forward a day, regardless if the original date already lands on a weekday. How can I resolve this? Is there a “if weekday” formula that I can add in? See More

I have a Jira Cloud instance with the typical Epic -> Story structure. I'm wanting to pull those epics into Airtable with a link to their associated issues and rollup their story point total. Example:DEV-1 (Epic) Make a sandwichDEV-2 (Story) Get Ingredentiants - 5ptsDEV-3 (Story) Assemble - 3ptsDEV-4 (Story) Eat - 1ptHow can I sync this data from Jira and assemble the proper links so I can reference DEV-1 and rollup the estimates to get 9 story points total? I've tried syncing my Jira tickets into its own table which has the Epic <-> Tickets reference information but am unable to convert that information into a 'hard link' that Airtable can use. See screenshot, if I edit the 'Epic Link' field to "Link to another record" it technically works but I get a message saying my Jira Sync won't update this field anymore. 

Hello. I've 6 tables, I've carefully counted the records (with no filters), it's 906, and Airtable indicates it's Off-limit. (only 5 records deleted in the past week)I've removed 32 records, My computed total is now 874, but Airtable indicates 983 (now inside limits !). All other bases are below 1000 recordsDo you have an idea of the difference (109 records) explanation ? (I need these 100 records !)I work in a non profit organisation giving information technology training, and showing Airtable experience for other bigger organisations with bigger budgets. We have a series of event registration forms listed on our web site, with URLs that prefill a particular field and hide it from the user. These links all broke today. I am trying to get a specific folder ID from Google Drive through an Airtable script based on information from a newly created record. I think I am supposed to get access to my Google Drive by connecting to it via API. I’ve built and published a web app using Google Apps Script but I’m unclear how to connect the platforms together. What are the general steps to send data from Airtable to the web app so it can take that information, process it and send back a response to update a record?

Oh hello there! I am working with a team that is developing a base to capture competitor profiles. Within the base we have an organizational overview tab, contacts tab, program information tab, and a SWOT Analysis tab where we'd like to fill out the data on the competitors' strengths (from a drop down), weaknesses (from a drop down), opportunities (from a drop down), and threats (from a drop down) (among a few other things unnecessary to mention). What I'd like to do is have a matrix template that will pull in those selected drop down items and look something like the below for each organization/competitor. Would the matrix or page design extension be best for this? Might there be a better tool? I have some serious beef with the page design view and how limited it is - or perhaps in my case, just not intuitive enough to be impactful. Any ideas would be incredibly welcome. Thank you!

Are there plans in the product roadmap to make the web clipper extension available for other browser than Chrome? If yes, then when ? I’m mostly interested in that being available in Firefox as I’m seriously considering to switch back from Chrome to Firefox. By the way, the web clipper tool is a great feature that helps users to quickly and conveniently add new records in a table in a comprehensive way. Thanks a lot for it ! Best regards, Younes

We create QR codes pretty frequently in our marketing collateral and it's not infrequent that we find out after something has been printed/distributed that we need to revise the URL it's point to for whatever reason.   I know there are a few services out there to generate a QR code. Is there a way to manage the associated URL though so if we need to redirect it at some point, we can?
