I run a renovation and interior design firm.  I thought Airtable was going to be the ultimate solution and have spent months perfecting my bases.  We need a database of products and materials that we can assign to projects and present choices and final selections to our clients.  Our clients are not other businesses, they are individual homeowners, so we are not going to ask them to create accounts in Airtable or become collaborators on our internal system.  Each product record has a lot of internal pricing information that we do not want to share with our clients.  I tried several extensions but they fell short in many ways (only show one record at a time, only show certain pre-set fields, etc).  I tried creating a shared, curated view but our clients could still open and view any field they want.  The list view looked fantastic but there's no way to share OR print!  I spent hours creating awesome interfaces just to discover they're only avai

Hello, I'm using the duration field to track recorded audio sessions that vary in length. Currently have it formatted as (HH:MM:SS) to account for sessions that are both multiple hours long and less than an hour long. When I have sessions that are less than an hour long, Airtable won't display a zero value in the hour slot. Ex: a session is 30 minutes and 6 seconds, but Airtable displays it as 30:06. This makes it appear as if the session is 30 hours and 6 minutes long. I would prefer it to display as 00:30:06 for clarity. Does anyone know how I can get the field to display zero values? 

Is there anyway to change the “row Height” of the primary row? I have a sheet with a bunch of check boxes, but the rows are very wide due to the names (that can no be helped) It makes the checkbox feature seem pretty useless. Anyone know how to change that or be able to “:wrap text” in the primary row?

Hi !I'm new to Airtable and I created a base to help me manage some operations for a car rental company that operates in 2 cities.I have 3 tables with the same single select field (City : A or B) The tables are : Cars, drivers and Missions.The Missions table contains several fields including the city (A or B) and linked records fields to the Cars table and to the drivers table.What I want is In the Missions Table, when I select a city (city A) and then I want to choose the car, it only displays in the list the cars that also have the same city (A) in its single select field for the city, and also for the drivers to diplay only the ones in the same city (A).I don't want to create 2 different tables (one for city A and another for city B) and link the records to views in the cars and drivers tables.Is there a straightforward way to do it without changing the structure of the table ?

Hi all,I have an Airtable built that collects info for upcoming events. I've created a filtered view, that only includes Confirmed events. I want to add the ability for staff to sign-up to work at these events, so I've created a form view. I want the first question of the form to be a single select, where the staff person selects which one of these events they want to work. Is this possible? So for example, I'd like "Event 1", "Event 2", etc. to be the options staff select in the form. Then in the grid view, we'll have a new column for staff that have signed up to work each event. Hopefully that makes sense.

Wondering if anyone has managed to sync MySQL data into a Airtable base? What we are basically trying to do is sync a SQL query data to Airtable - this is currently done manually multiple times a day and imported to Airtable base. Has anyone done anything like this or are there any 3rd party solutions out there? Thanks in advance :slightly_smiling_face:

I'm new to airtable but i keep running into the same issue that when you try to link a column to another base (to effectively do what would be a vlookup in excel) that when a link is found the value of the cell you are linking from is displayed but if no link is found its empty. Is there a way to overwrite this behaviour so that the value still is still displayed despite no match?The value is still being recorded in the table as the links will sync if that value is added to the looked up table, it's just not shown when a match isn't found.

Hello,I am importing AirTable data into a SQL server database via SSIS and some numeric values are being imported with a floating point error.  In order to get some help from my local AirTable admin, I need to be able to show them that the currency-formatted values in the Air table interface are not the exact value of the data that were entered and stored in the AT base worksheet.Is there a way to view through the AirTable UI the stored value without the format?Example:  $0.090 is the column value as displayed in the AirTable UI.Here is that same value when imported from SSIS 8.9999999999999997E-2  

The 'Add Record' button is preventing me from seeing the summary of my first column. I've tried refreshing the page several times but the issue persists. Could someone advise a fix?

I’m using AT as an Applicant Tracking System for recruiting. For records in AT, we use the Comment function to provide long-form notes on our candidates. We know the Comments automatically time-stamp the post, but we’re wondering if it’s possible to have the comment also update the ‘Date Modified’ field. This will help us run reports on the last date/time we’ve had an interaction with a candidate in our system.

This month I was charged 304.5 USD, currently I have the "team" plan of 24 USD. In the details of this month's invoice there are multiple charges with the concept "Remaining time". I don't understand what is the reason for this excessive charge. I request your help as soon as possible in order to clarify this charge. Thank you

Hi Airtable Community, I have a base that I’m using for personal lifelogging which has three tables: activities (“Dinner with friends”), location (“Sal’s Pizza”) and people, (“Nancy,” “Jonathan,” etc.). Those tables all link to each other. However, within the “people” table, I want to show relationships: parents, children, siblings, spouses, etc. Unlike when I link to another table, using a linked record here doesn’t seem to auto populate—so choosing one person as another’s spouse does not automatically fill in the other one. Any suggestions from users or mods out there on how to accomplish what I’m trying to do? Thanks!

Hi,What are the best tools to integrate instagram with airtable?We would like that an automation reads our instagram DMs,gets the data (contact phone numbers, etc), and automatically inputs it into our airtable base of instagram-leads. 

I realized that the sync is not performed if you are not logged. I have a sync’ed table and an automation associated to this table triggered when a records enters a view. Unfortunatelly, it is not triggered unless i sing up and the sync takes place. Is that right? For sure i can solve the issue changing the automation to the source table. Hw, this source table it is so big and i d rather do the other way. Thanks!!

I have an extensions that use useCursor, useLoadable, and useWacthable. I am able to run an extension application and get the correct entry id to generate what I need to. I’ve seen the many posts advertising a shortcut product, but it is rather expensive (and due to the nature of the product, I can’t test it first). I really don’t want to leave Airtable, but the inability to save websites from Safari to a table has become a deal breaker for me (use case: student research project). I don’t need it to be super fancy, simply saving the URL and page title is enough... does anyone have a working solution?Alternatively, if someone can point me in the direction of an easy to understand tutorial on how to create a shortcut for this, I would be grateful.Thanks 🙂  

I have an attachment field that I am manually uploading items to, but the original files live in my Google Drive. I'd love to have these connected somehow so that if there are updates to the files, my attachment field will automatically update. If I delete files in my Google Drive and then upload new ones with the same name(s), is there a way to make this automation happen?

Hi there! So I have a few bases (Newsletter Tracker, Task Manager, Content Creation Schedule, Signings & Events) and each of them have due dates in them and their individual calendars. Is there a way to have a master calendar or to have all of the calendars in different bases within a workspace to sync or sync to one calendar? I have a Teams Subscription if that helps!  Thank you so much for your time and any input! 

I'm a new owner to my company's workspace and I'm trying to understand the billing.We get charged annually in May for all the users, and then we get subsequent monthly invoices that say:Remaining time on 10 × Team Annual after 02 Jul 2024 (a positive $ amount)Unused time on 9 × Team Annual after 02 Jul 2024 (a negative $ amount)What does this mean and how is the dollar amount calculated? I would think we should just have to pay the yearly amount unless there are hidden add-ons I'm not aware of.

Hi! I need help. I am attempting to connect a Jotform to my Airtable. Here is the problem: on the Jotform, users can submit multiple students to nominate on one form (ex: student 1, student 2, etc). From there, I want the data to populate on my airtable base as separate students. Right now, it only gives me the option to link one student to airtable base. does this make sense?Basically, I just need to figure out a way to configure my Airtable to accept multiple submissions of students. We have used Airtable to collect event participants info, etc. Now, when a jotform collects multiple participants info on one form, I am unsure how to populate that onto airtable as seperate  people.

 Hi!     I sucessfully imported tickets from JIRA to AirTable. They are synced and working fine, but...     My JIRA registers have 342 columns in it and olny 85 columns are imported.     I don't need all 342 columns in my AirTable dashboard, but I'd like to select some fields I want or, at least, select some of them.     Is there a way to import all fields or to select the ones I want?Sync overview articles (airtable.com)  Thank you

Hi!     I use a JIRA Cloud and successfully synced it to AirTable, it is working fine (#1), but...     In JIRA I have 342 columns and only 85 columns was imported to Airtable using the “All fields in the source” option (#2).     Using the “Specific fields in the source” option, I have only 77 fields to select (#3).     It is not necessary to have all 342 columns in Airtable, but I need some of the missing ones.     I'd like to select some of these missing fields or, at last, to have all 342 columns to manage in AirTable     Is there a way to import all fields or to select (from the all available in JIRA) the ones I want?FURTHER:Getting started with Ai
