Dear Sir,I need help in creating rankings of products based on its quantity.We have a table with 3 fields. Name of Fruit, Quantity, Ranking. We want to rank the Fruits as 1,2,3,4... based on the quantity of that fruit. Whenever the quantity of any fruit changes, the Ranking should update itself.Any help will be appreciated.Thank youNavin
In a few of our bases, we have either password protected the shared grid view, or we have disabled the share view link completely. However, we're finding that a different URL for that same grid view is still being accessed, even though there is no link associated. This means people with a link are able to see the contents of this grid view. We're also finding that this URL is different from the original link that was associated with the base.Is there a way to view what links are tied to the base? Has anyone else experienced this issue? We are trying to get these links offline. Hope this makes sense. Please let me know if any clarification needs to be given.
Hi,I wonder if I can somehow give a copy of a Base to another user?I have a blank Template base (with just the column names and formulas and such) and I would like to give a copy of this Base to another user. This other user is NOT part of my company or organization. I do NOT want them to be a 'collaborator' in any senses - I just want to hand off a single copy of the Base to them, and then they can do whatever they want with it, and not involve us at all (or our account at all). Is this possible somehow?thank you!-Ed
The record limit for the free plan is 1000. I am only at 500 records.
I’m trying to use a find/update zap to automate a record update in Airtable, Some empty fields need to get new data, some get updates and others need to be cleared. The Zap correctly adds the new and updated data, but I can’t figure out how to DELETE data from the fields that I want emptied (which are date fields). With other numeric fields, it’s easy to just set the update value to “0”, but this doesn’t seem to work for date formatted fields. I’ve tried 0 =0 -1 0/0/0000 0000-00-00 =BLANK() Null Creating an empty dummy field and setting the value equal to that No luck. I asked Zapier first, thinking they might have some special formula or syntax to use for this kind of thing, but they told me it’s restricted on the Airtable side and overwriting with blanks isn’t permitted. I thought I’d ask here in case anyone else has come up with a solution/hack to clear/empty/erase a cell or make it “null”. Thanks.
In the form I have a data record field where all free rooms are displayed. All occupied rooms are not displayed. However, if I have a reservation for the future, the assigned room is immediately marked as occupied even though it is still available until the specific reservation date. So far I have no idea how to solve the problem.
Is it possible to subsequently edit an existing data record using a form, for example to change a status. without making the change directly in the table?
All:I have imported data from an excel into an existing table in a base. The existing table is called "Income Account Transactions." There is another table called "Profit & Loss" that links to Income Account Transactions table. It calculates data from the table. The imported data is not calculating into the Profit & Loss Table. What am I doing wrong?
Hello to you all !! I’m facing an issue. I’m totally new on airtab and I’m trying to create a data base. I have a table where I will put a name of a project and a mutiple select fied with the companies that are in the project. I would like to create a data base for those companies and to be able to do so, i need to find a way to create an automation thats is going to take every company from the multiple select field and create one independant record for each one of them in my database table. I would love to do this without a script because I’m on the free subscription. I would really use your help. Thanks in advance and have a great day !!!
I'd like to buy a book (or 2) on Amazon (or other) that I can use as a decent reference for scripts, formulas and other advanced topics and would love some suggestions. Given the ever changing nature of products such as Airtable, I want to make sure I buy something that is relatively recent that would have the newest features, or at least most of them.The basic stuff (field types, etc) are self explanatory to me, so hopefully a book that has more solutions than the core fundamentals of which I've mostly been able to learn with vids and the like. I know that the basics will be covered in any book, I just want to make sure the back part of the book with the advanced stuff is relatively deep in content, if that makes sense.
I'm building a task tracking app within airtable to use with Glide. I would like to do a rollup of total hours spent on each task bucket (four in total) for the current month, week and day. I cannot figure out how to do a sum of each task for those time frames as a numeric value and hours spent on each task. Any help appreciated.
Hello everyone. I’m still new with Airtable but I’m trying to learn. I am integrated in a sports club, volleyball club. I’m trying with Airtable to make a table that updates results of games. The idea is that each team director can enter the results of a game in a simple way, and then get the complete list of results. Is there any template that does something similar? Hi there, I've started to play with AI features (love it!) but I'm experiencing issues with the AI field allowing to generate text.I want the AI to analyse text within attachments and return structured data. It works pretty well when analysing PDFs but it doesn't seem to work with HTML or TXT files. While field HTML is properly filled with a document (HTML in that case), the AI keeps asking to fill out the field.This also occurs when using TXT files but it works with PDF. Are you aware of such limitation or can it be considered as a bug? If that's a limitation, can someone think about a convenient way to store HTML data as plain text? When converting my HTML to PDF before upload, I'm losing the HTML as text since it's rendered as webpage within my PDF. I'm using Make (ex-Integromat) for that purpose.Thanks a lot for you help!
Hi. Trying to find a calendar integration that will populate film and schedule info from Airtable for our film festivals. Basically, we schedule films in venues throughout a week and need them to be organized consistently and show info like start time, run time, end time, etc so we can share with staff and our cinemas. We're using Google sheets to create our SCREENING OVERVIEW because it doesn't work in Airtable to use the calendar. So need something that looks similar to this in the end, with the full screening schedule per day in separate tabs:Any help or ideas are appreciated. Thanks!John

I have a column that fills in the State Abbreviation from Jot Form. The form is a drop-down selection that is the same as my single select column in Airtable. Somewhere new duplicate selections are being generated with new submissions. I am trying to figure out where to even look for how this could be happening. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi, I have been trying to solve this, and I'm curious if there's a solution. Please see attached screenshot. I'm trying to add a contact within a form in a new interface that I built. How can I achieve this? I can't seem to have a + sign for users to add new contacts. It only gives me the option to choose existing contact. I want to add a new one from there. Any suggestions? I try to describe the situation in detail below.Context: I am setting up a more efficient lead generation & reach-out tool for sales purposes, automating some manual tasks such as data scraping & email generation. We have 3 email templates that we use, depending on the product that we want to advertise, plus we send to two types of contacts - English or German speaking (i.e. up to 6 different email templates)Goal: I want to set up the process, so that once I have a Contacts table filled, I manually define for each contact which kind of email they should receive and in which language. Then those emails, based on the templates, with personalized tokens (i.e. Hello {Name}, ….) are stored in a new table “Personalized mail”. (then I will use that data to input to Make.com and send these email drafts to my Outlook draft folder).—Here how my tables set up look ideally:Table
I want to launch the first version of my product which essentially let's the practitioner connect their Google calendar, manage their availability at the backend and their clients can book the call from the available slots. Each practitioner can only see information concerning their practice aka data privacy is essential;. How can I go about building a multiuser login without adding them as collaborators? I have a table with information about kids on a team I coach. I have a field for their birthdates and use that to calculate their age divisions. I’d like to use a calendar view to show upcoming birthdays, but the calendar view based on their birthdates doesn’t work, of course, because their birthdates aren’t in the current year. Is there a way to do this?
Hello,I'm trying to create a "Sign Up Page" using an Airtable Form, however, it's not working like I want it to :).I have 1 Table which is the Available Time Slots, and 1 Table which is the SignUps & associated SignUp Form.The problem is that I want my Linked Record (Available Time Slots) to show up in a Grid Format on the Form (either Old Forms or Interface Forms), however, the only option I seem to have is a "+" sign that says "Add Record" that gives a Drop Down menu. Is there anyway I can customize this to display in a better format for folks signing up for a time slot?For example, a list with radio buttons? A grid with a column that has a "Sign Up" button?I'm exploring the possibility of building a SignUp app in Airtable, and using automations, record #s, and pre-filled forms to allow people to self-service their needs like cancelling a session.Ideas are welcome!TIA,ML
Hi Everyone, I’m just getting started in Page Designer and have two questions that will aid my workflow: -Is it possible to save a layout to use on other tables? -Is there a way to create pages from a selection of records in a table? I’d like to be able to use this extension to send pdfs of selected records within my table, tailored to each client. I am building a task list where the same daily tasks are completed each day, so I have a list with around 20 tasks or so, with links and the time they should be completed etc. However, there are a couple of tasks, such as client briefings, that only occur on specific days of the week - is it possible to get it so that these tasks only show on the day of the briefing in my interface, not everyday?
Hi All,We are considering using the Embed view as HTML tab in Confluence to showcase the project data.My question is it is possible to customize the embed view (not only the height), for example not to display a certain tab?We've considered using the Interface for this task but it has Embed view only for the premade presets, which would not do the work for us.
