I added a button field to my interface but it’s not clickable. I don’t see an option to make it editable when I go to the properties to try to configure. I’m assuming this is a bug — buttons would be handy to include on an interface!

Hi there!  Sorry - this is probably simple - but I'm having trouble finding a simple solution for the sample issue below (pretend scenario for ease of explaining):I own a fruit store, and I sell individual fruits & bundles of fruits:Table 1: Multiple records of Fruits (apple, orange, banana, watermelon, cantaloupe)Table 2: Multiple records that are Bundles of Fruits (Red Bundle contains apple & watermelon, Melon bundle contains watermelon & cantaloupe) where I have the Bundles linked to the Individual Fruits recordsTable 3: I would like to create a third table that would be my Total Inventory - so each record in this third table is the individual Fruits as well as the Bundles.  I would like to have this third table autopopulated, so I don't have to remember to manually update the Total Inventory table every time I add in a new individual fruit or bundle.Is this possible?  And the reason I want this in the f

We've been wrangling with this for some time. At first I thought it was a laptop vs iPad issue, but today I confirm that it is not - it seems like a bug. Appreciate anyone who can help, please. I created a dropdown selection in the Interface. And whenever I need a new option, I simply type in the new value and the Add Option comes up. However, my user does not have the add option. See pics attached.  

I have monthly price lists that I'm looking to combine into a "master" combined price list.  The appended base provides 3 monthly price lists, along with a 4th table that exemplifies the desired output table.  In the "Combined Price List - Desired Output" table, a field is allocated to each of the respective monthly price lists.  I'm looking for a way to automate the creation of the 4th table.  Ideally, the 4th table would update if the monthly price list tables are updated.  Base Link  

hi! I have an error in my base that when a project name is changed, the allocation column is deleted. I do not want this to happen, please give guidance on how to adjust automations so that project name changes will not delete allocations. Thanks!

I want to give one link to my users that will help them fill out two forms with pre-filled fields in them. The first form would have pre-filled in field called ProgramID. I'd like it to redirect (or have a button to) a second form with the same ProgramID pre-filled.  I can't for the life of me figure this out even thought this was a pretty straightforward feature on Typeform.  Any one have a solution? I just would really prefer having one flow vs. having to share two different links. Thank you so much!

I have an automation that runs a script to trigger a webhook in Power Automate.  This correctly pushes the Expiring URL to Flow.My next step however doesn't work. PA seems to want a filename in the path URL. Airtable doesn't generate the URL like that.Is there a way to reformat the expiring URL to have a ".jpg" at the end? 

Is it possible to prefill a form with an attachment field so an image renders on the form? I see this question has been asked twice but no one answered. If possible, it would save us soooo much time.

Hi,Haven't worked with Airtable for a while, so have missed a lot of updates. I need to build a base where over 200 records needs review and given input for potential change. There is multiple reviewers, and I need to track which reviewer ok'ed or suggested change for what.200+ records would obviously be an endless form, so I am looking at Interfaces and the new Record Review, which seems promising, but I can't figure out how to allow multiple reviewers to give separate input?The reviewers are external, but could be onboarded to Airtable. Ideally, I'd like to use a form to populate a 'reviewer' table with information, and then automate a link to the Record Review. Hoping for input, thanks! 

I've used this very helpful page to be able to export my tables out of air table and into Power Query, and from there into Excel: Sending Airtable Data to Microsoft Power BI & Power Query | Airtable SupportHowever, I'm having an issue that some seemingly random columns aren't being picked up by PowerQuery. I've done this with 5 tables, some have worked perfectly, some haven't. The columns that are missing are different types, sometimes check boxes, sometimes free text fields. I can't work out what the pattern might be, and therefore how I might fix it.I'm hoping someone might have come across the same issue in the past, and know exactly what I'm talking about and how to fix it. 

When using a timeline view for tasks, we know if you group by Project, it's a nice way of being able to view all Project tasks in a neat and concise way, side by side.Is there a way to order the Projects (vertically) by the earliest task?  At the moment the only options are alphabetically A-Z or Z-A.  This would help with schedulingAs a temporary measure I'm adding a number to the start of the project name to force the order I want but unsure if there's any other work around...Screen grab for context (sorry about the blanking out of info)  

Hello, I am trying to calculate the difference between two dates, excluding weekends. Datediff. However, weekend is Friday and Saturday at my company. Workday doesn’t help much since it assumes weekends are Saturdays and Sundays. Your help is highly appreciated.

Hi all, We are on the Pro plan, which seems to default duplicated views to personal even if they were originally collaborative. We mainly use Airtable for grid views, though I’m not sure that has anything to do with the issue. I have searched high and low for a setting or option to NOT do this, as we would prefer duplicated collaborative views to stay collaborative, and not have to manually change it each time. Any ideas?

Hi, I'm simply trying to subtract hours in one field from hours in another. I have a column with 'hours recorded' and one with 'hours billed'. They are both formatted as time units (hours). I just want to subtract one from the other in a new field. As an additional question is there a way to set the hour units to just hours, with no minutes, at the moment it's h:mm and I need to enter a 0 for minutes each time Thanks   

Do you ever wanted to query your airtable in SQL with no sync ? Now it is possible thanks to SQLify. Connect your airtable account, use SQL to query and create a PostgreSQL compatible DB. Would be happy to have your feedback, we are still in beta 🙂 

I'm trying to connect MS Power Automate to Airtable. A lot of info seems to be stale out there. I have this flow, which parses data. I found this step HTTP Webhook. I'm hoping to make this a trigger for an Airtable automation. However, when I run the flow, it gives me a bad request error at this step.Does anyone know if this is possible to set up like this?  

I am a student and currently working on digitalizing and automating the administration for a dance school. The Airtable base is already set up and in use. Now, I want to implement additional features and make adjustments. I am working within the same account that the dance school uses.How can I create a kind of development environment where I can experiment and test new features, while keeping the current Airtable base active and unchanged? I would like to implement individual features into the active base only after testing.Does anyone have a suggestion on how to proceed?

I'm trying to build an automation that uses a custom script to determine whether all necessary leads have been assigned to a record within the base. The teamsNeeded field (multiple select field type) determines the teams that need leads on the record. Each team then has a lead field (single select field type) where the lead is selected. If "Comms" and "KM" are selected in the teamsNeeded field then the "Comms Lead" and "KM Lead" field need to have a selection/not be empty.I have limited scripting experience but have been able to build the one below. The issue is that it is outputting 'All Leads Assigned' even when leads are missing. The console log for teamsNeeded shows that all teams are being captured - the log for the example with "Comms" and "KM" in the teamsNeeded field reads "teamsNeeded (2) ["Comms", "KM"].Is there something I am missing that is causing the output to always be 'All Leads Assigned' instead of 'Leads Missing' when leads are missing? 

Basically, I'm wondering how to change the fields shown in a linked record field dropdown/select menu.These fields below (Record ID, First, Middle) do little to help me distinguish among similar records.Note that this particular screenshot is of a linked field to a table that is synced in from another base. But my question stands generally, whether for a table«»table link or for a table«»synced table link—what's the best way to choose my own fields to display, if it's possible at all? 

Our company has an inventory of office supplies, which we track in a table called 'Inventory'. This has fields for item description, photo, quantity available, location, etc.We want to create a system to create "checkout orders" and select multiple items, similar to a shopping cart. We want to do this through interface pages.I know I'll need 2 other tables: 'Orders' (overall requests) and 'Order Items' (items requested in order).The question is how to create an interactive workflow to place items into your order.I'd like to have a List or Gallery starting page, which displays all the items in stock. I'd like to do something like a checkbox or button to add items to my order. (I imagine you'll need to create a new order first.)However, if I just make checkbox field on the 'Inventory' table (the master list), this is seen by all users - which prevents 2 users from "shopping" at once.Does anyone have a suggestion for making a good experience? Hi all - I'm having a very strange issue with a Formula field. I've got a Status field (single select) that informs a Formula field. i.e. if the Status field says ABC, then make the Formula field say XYZ. It's working perfectly except for two outputs. Now here's where it gets weird: after extensive testing, the issue seems to be with the output string, not the input. If the Status is Booking Received, the Formula field should return "Booking received, waiting for pickup confirmation" but it returns a blank field. I also can't get it to return any results when I change the formula to return my name, the word Test, or gibberish lettering. But when I type one of the other results that is working for another status, it works! Meaning if I type "Decline" in to the formula in place of "Booking received, waiting for pickup" it returns Declined. So weird, right?? Why will it only return certain other existing outputs?

Hello! I have a calendar with both all day events and timed events and I am trying to display them both in an intuitive way. The problem is…because some of my records have start times, my date fields need to have times enabled…so I have to arbitrarily assign a start time to the record aka event. But then that stat time shows up on my calendar. I don’t want a start time on the calendar because it’s an all day event. Through a series of formulas, I can create calcualted fields which the calendar references so the events without a end date/time show up as date only and the ones with an end time show up with a time. However, because the calendar view is referenced formula fields, I cannot edit the event directly by dragging or clicking; I have to go into the record to edit the orignal date/time fields. Is there a way for airtable to correctly display all day events without a few complicated formula columns? So they can be editable? Thanks, Nathan

I want to use airtable to build the application form that people submit and goes directly into my base when applying for a job. This particular job has 100 questions, and we're expecting a relatively high number of submission. The application form itself has conditional formating "like if YES to question 17, then there's a 5 more questions on that for you". The questions are sometimes drop down, single line text, long text, multiple select, and single select. How is the best way to do this? The reason I'm thinking of using airtable is because I want to filter responses as much as possible.
