I'm trying to script a POST request to the Covve API to parse business cards. Their technical support says "the API does not support passing the file via URL. Hello, I am trying to sync a view in Jira Server which has over 1000 fields. There are only 7 that I care about. When I configure the sync with selected fields, all 1000 fields are turned on. I do not see way to turn them all off and only turn on the ones I want. Does anyone have any suggestions. 

I’m looking at using forms to collect new records for our bases. In my case, that data is then taken via Zapier to our helpdesk. Everything works fine but there is one piece I am trying to make function properly. When you submit the form, the “Created By” field displays as “Anonymous” How can I set that up so it corresponds to a person within the Airtable system, as the “Created By” field is used to generate who creates the ticket within our help desk.

I'm trying to use ChatGPT to analyze written data from airtable surveys, but ChatGPT is unable to access the information from a csv file. Is it possible to connect ChatGPT to Airtable in order to give it access to specific tables? The idea would be to be able to ask ChatGPT questions such as "What are the top 3 things guests enjoy about this trip?" based on the survey responses.

Hi, Did anybody already figured out how you make inquiry of your Airtable base with chatgpt. Very basic example: you have database tracking projects. And you ask Chat GPT (or any other ai model for that matter) - what is the status of project A, or who is responsible for project B, etc. 

When a form is submitted it shows the GMT date & time however when an automation email is sent it sent as UTC. Can someone please help me fix this.Thank you.

Hi, I'm trying to update one date and time field {end date} based and on another date and time field {start date}. The catch is the {end date} cannot be later than 10:30PM PST (2024-09-01T10:29:59-08:00). 

Can anybody please help and tell me what is the best way to show both mobile and desktop version on an embed airtable I am using for a website , the desktop version looks really good and organized and when using on mobile , it stays as the desktop version and I cannot see all information , it is very misleading and not responsive. I thought that with the paid version I will be able to make things better , I would like to get any support please, thank you !

I have a field that is a string of comma separated text values (two actually...one I created using a concatenate formula, and the other was created with a rollup field...I was trying to see if one of those would work better than the other).I need to convert either one of them into either a "link to another record" field, or a "multiple select" field in order to send those items into a Webflow Multi-Reference field in a collection. Right now, Webflow will not separate the comma separated list into individual values (that I'm aware of). Help!

I am trying to take a comma separated value from one field (field name "Interests from MS"), and populate the individual items in that string as individual items in a different multiple select field (field name "Interest"), whenever it's updated. I set up the trigger fine, but I can't get the script right. Is this doable without a custom automation (ie. script)? If not, anyone have any suggestions on a script for that? Hi, I am having trouble figuring out an automation.I have a field for a project end-date, and I use an automation to enter a fiscal quarter based on a date table (and another automation to update that quarter if the date changes). When the project is cancelled or put on hold, I need to remove that date. When I do that, the fiscal quarter field remains as the last entered. Is there a way to have that revert to blank?Thanks!

Hi all,We save some record fields that contain attachments in our airtable database. I've been asked if it's possible to send these files to an external company via POST api call from an airtable automation script. The call must be form-data and the endpoint is expecting a file in the key-value format. I've attempted sending the downloadable url but this is being rejected as expected. Is it possible to have the automation save the file from the downloadable url, and send that? I know there's some issues with sending files themselves with airtable. Any advice is appreciated, worst case we can download to our external database and send from there.

Hello Everyone,I have a base with various scenarios, each of which has a template field and a field for attachments.I'd like to be able to create an automation that will open the current users email client and insert the relevant template and attachment.So far I've been able use the "mailto:" protocol to do as much with the written template but this doesn't support attachments. The email account can change depending on who is logged in to the database.TL;DR: I need to automate opening the users current email client and inserting the relevant attachment from the database record.

Hello all,In the past, I was able to hover over my workspaces names on the left side navigation bar and rearrange the order of them, but now it is no longer possible which is a nightmare as some that are not that important stay at the top as they were created as last. This option is no longer available for some reason. Any idea why is that removed? When I hover over now the dots do not show.Any help appreciated.  Thanks Jen

Hi, I'm trying (and struggling) to create a formula that allows us to filter by 'people who are currently contracted by us'. We have a start date and end date column within the table, so ideally I'd like to add a formula that allows us to filter based on whether today is in between their start and end date. Does anyone know if this is possible please? Or if there's an easier method of filtering that doesn't involve us manually ticking a box for people that are currently contracted. Thanks! 

I am building a "record review" interface, and I am struggling with the calendar element.  Each record has a series of dates as milestones but unlike every other field, I don't see a way to filter or format the calendar to show ONLY the dates of the record I am reviewing, it only shows the milestones for ALL records.Is there really no way to filter a calendar, either as a view or as an interface element, by a specific record?  This seems like such basic functionality I am struggling to accept this is the case.I found this thread which seems to clarify this, but I am re-asking in case I am missing something:https://community.airtable.com/t5/interface-designer/is-it-possibel-to-show-dates-in-a-calendar-element-within-a/td-p/183219

I'm a total novice with scripting and automation, so I had ChatGPT write a script. It looks right to me (I've double-checked the strings) and does not throw out any errors, but it is not having the desired effect on my base. Would love some pointers... The relatively recent addition of "default to current date" is really useful on date fields, where 95% of the time the user is going to select "today."However, it seems that the field doesn't use our local timezone, unless I enable "display time." Hello, I built an interface which allow users to add records in a list table, when they click Add record. I would like to have the new records opened directly in their expanded layout, instead of creating a new line and then clicking the line. Is this possible ? (Via the Add record of the current page, and even via buttons in other pages)I can try scripts but I've never done that before so any help is welcome !  Many thanks for your help

Apologies if this already exists in the Community ... If I create a Base (Base A) that has a Table with 100 contact records (for example), can I create another Base (Base B) that has a Table that links to Base A? Then, if I update a record in Base A, it gets updated in Base B and all Bases to which these records are linked/ propagated?Thanks in advance.
