What is your process for troubleshooting automations in complex bases that have information changing regularly?I have an error occurring with an automation that I am struggling to troubleshoot. I can't seem to replicate the error in my testing, which means I am not accounting for/considering an action happening when the base and relevant records are interacted with. I am struggling to identify the issue, as:1) Airtable doesn't instantly notify you of the issue (notifications take 5-45 minutes) - which is bizarre. In a base where there are likely many more interactions with the record in question by the time I realise the automation has failed, this makes it hard to walk back and figure out what conditions are creating the error.2) Record revision histories don't seem to be overly thorough:a) the log doesn't show where an automation fails,b) the revision history timestamps are recorded unhelpfully as "17 hours ago" etc - which make

Hello All,I run a real estate wholesale business and I'm looking to create a new table that will basically just tally all the calls we make every day. I would essentially like to be able to just click a button inside each record when a call attempt is made and have that data go to a new table, separated by date just so we can track daily calls.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I help run a live event production company, mostly concerts and other performance events. I am trying to create a schedule for crewing my events. I want it to be organized by "Event" primarily, then "Position" (think stagehand, lighting, sound, etc) and then I would like to assign crew to each position. I have attached the Google Sheet I currently use for reference. I have already created my crew database as it's own table, as well as a table for events. I am brand new to Airtable so please explain as if I am a third grader. In addition to this, I would like to create a time sheet for each "Event", preferably auto-created when I create a new event, that auto fills with pay, position & crew member from the schedule, and I just have to input hours and then I can print that and send it to accounting. Any help is appreciated. I'm setting up a ranking and league system for our tennis club. The ranking should work according to the following rules:1 – Players in each division will be arranged in order of the number of matches they have won in the round. Win = 3 points, Loss = 1 point, Forfeited/Defaulted player = 0 points.2 – If 2 players finish with the same amount of wins, the higher position will go to the player who won the head to head match between those 2 players (if played).3 – If 3 or more players have the same amount of wins, or if 2 players have tied but have not played each other, then the positions of these players will be decided by the most matches played. If this decides 1 or more of the players positions, but still leaves 2 players equal, the positions of those 2 players will go back to the head to head result.I'm struggling with a way to automate ranking for Rule Number 2. Hi everyone! I'm trying to create a dashboard to visualize our project management data, and I'm having a little trouble with the charts. I have three tables in the base, and I'd like to select a record from a single table and show charts of the data in the fields for that particular record. But when I add a chart and make sure the source is the record picker, the field options are just the other two tables, not the fields in the table the record resides in.What am I doing wrong? 

Can someone explain how to save a table to a CSV file. I have done a search, but everything tells me to use the "save as csv file" in the dropdown for the table. I do not see that option for any of my tables. If anyone could help, I would appreciate it. Thank you.

Hey guys!I have a schedule creating Record Template that only creates half of the schedule I need it to create. Here's a quick breakdown on the set-up:Tables:Job - Contains all job information, linked to Schedule. Where the template is applied. Schedule - Contains schedule phases, no manual dates. Linked to Jobs and Tasks. Tasks - Where the dates are actually entered (but not in the template). Linked to Schedule.Template info:Creates a series of Schedule phases and Tasks. There are 65 records it's supposed to create. It worked about a month ago perfectly fine. The Problem:Currently when I apply the template from an interface it only creates 32 of the records. There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the template, everything is entered into it correctly. Has anyone else ran into this issue? Let me know if anyone knows whats going on and if there's a fix.Thanks!

For the plus or pro plan, how many creators or editors do you get? I see that you get Up to 5 creators or editors under the Free Plan.

I am currently trying to set up the Google Cloud Vision API via an extension in Airtable. When adding the API key, I am currently getting the following error:'Cloud Vision API is not enabled. Enable the API.'However, I have followed all the steps required for the API to work:1. Created a Google Cloud project 2. Set up billing 3. Enabled the Google Cloud Vision API, added it to my project and generated an API key.I am still getting the error message despite having disabled and enabled again, removed and re-added the extension and deleted and re-created an API key.I would be grateful for any additional suggestions regarding how I can add this extension.Many thanks,Jamie

Hello,I am trying to develop a maintenance tracking solution that deals with both dates and hours or miles due. I am attempting to configure airtable automations to send notifications as upcoming inspections become near.  I have figured out how to run a notification automation quite easily for those inspections required by a certain date. However I am still trying to determine how to configure the same type of automation with a trigger when the miles or hours reach a certain time. For example, if the next inspection is due at 1,234 miles, I want the automation to trigger when the current vehicle miles are within 5 miles of that number, or anytime that the current miles have exceeded the next due mileage.Thank you for your help.

HelloI am new to Airtable and I am trying to create dynamic calculations in a record in my calculations table that is updated every time when a new record is created through a form for another table called Non-Title I School Tours - Virtual. I used Rollup in the calculations table to sum multiple records in a field in the Non-Title I School Tours - Virtual table. The problem I am running into is that it is not summing up multiple records it is only showing the first record and none of the records after it. Any feedback would be helpful.

I am struggling with the proper set up for my base.I am a manager of an HOA, and we are in the process of tracking all construction projects in Airtable. Applications are submitted via form and records are created automatically upon submission.Where I'm stuck is how to track the progress of these projects. Each have a Phase, and each phase has critical tasks that need to be completed before we can approve advancing to the next phase. Ideally, once all tasks are completed for a phase, the record would be updated with the next phase (with corresponding subtasks), and so on until project completion. A check list with conditions, so to speak.I have tried various templates, but none behave in a way where I can monitor and update records according to project completeness. Appreciate any insight on how to best tackle this.

Hey everyone,I need to find a way to list all the values from one column if those values meet certain conditions. Right now, I'm struggling to even find a way to summarise all entries from one column. The values in the column are email addresses, and the conditions are chosen by a single-select field.Just to clarify: I don't want to have one value/email address per line/record; I want to have all email addresses listed if they meet certain conditions.Example: I have a table with multiple records where I have listed all my customers. One of the columns in this table is an email address field with the customers' email addresses. There is another column—a single-select field—where you can select the status of that customer, for example, Status 1, 2, or 3. Now, I would like to have all email addresses from that table summarised in one field and separated with a comma, if the selected customer status is 1 or 2.

We use our air table to create a database of questions that we use to answer client DDQ's or potential client RFP's.  When I need to find a specific questions and answer I'm having troubling finding it.  What is the easiest way to do a search like this?

Hi Airtable Community, I have the following problem. I have a table with tasks and a table with projects.If a task is delayed by x days, I want to display a timing risk in the project. The tasks are linked to the project. However, the tasks are repeated for each project. Therefore, they always have the same names and are not unique. If a task is now delayed, the automation cannot know which project the task belongs to. Do I really have to assign each task a unique name or can I use the record ID somehow?Thank you and bestMirko 

I am creating template tasks  when a project stage is updated. This part of teh Automation is working perfectly However, I want to bring across the team member I have assigned the task to in "Template task" to in the new " Project Tasks"I seem to be unable to get a dynamic field type for Team member. ( I have tried multiple field types) Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

I have a table of information that is tracking music in a film.  I have the songs and their timecode of where they appear in the film.  the nature of the list is that i have a record for every time there is an edit however several records compile the total use of the song.  Here is my issue.  When i look at all the records in grid view and sort by timecode in they sort in order and everything looks great.  Then when i then group them by song title things go hairy.  It puts the groups of songs out of order.  so a song that starts in the film at 1 min 15 sec and goes to 3 min 15 sec is sorting after a song that is in the film at 15 min 3 sec.  How can i get them to go in the proper order once grouped?
