Hello, I have a multi select field, with 5 different options that by person you can select 1 to all 5 items for.  I am trying to create a formula where it looks at all the people (say 20 people) and sees out of all of them how many have X as an option selected from this multi select field.  For Example:Person 1: Has XPerson 2: Has X,YPerson 3: Has YSo then If I am trying to show what the percentage is of people who know X, it would output _% Does this make sense?  Is this possible?

Hiya!I'm trying to implement parts of Airtable's Project Management Template into a Project Management system for my organization. In the Getting Started section, it describes the "My Tasks" page as "a summary of the current user's work". I love that my team members will be able to quickly go to that page and see a summary detail of their current tasks. However - I can't figure out how to "auto-filter" the page.In the template it's set up as a page/group filter: Where {Assignee} contains "Malik Johnson". I know this is just an example filter in the template, but if I were to type a specific name in that filter, it would only show that person's tasks, regardless of which person is on the My Tasks page. Am I missing something? Is there a way to set up the filter as "assignee matches current user"?

 I have a problem with related tables.Button 1: When you click the "Add" button, it does not automatically fill out the foreign key. However, you can cancel the form at any time, so it will not be saved in the database.Button 2: This button automatically relates the record to the parent table. However, if you do not fill out the Mailing Address and Source fields, the record is still saved in the database. Therefore, if you accidentally press the "Add Record" button, you will need to delete it manually.Questions:How can I fill out the foreign key in Button #1?If I use Button #2, how can I prevent the app from saving the data in the database if I haven't filled out the Mailing Address and Source fields?

Is there anyone that could assist me for a 5min video call to see why my syncing of pages are not working please or do airtable have a support team that can help?Thanks all

I’m looking to streamline data entry in my Airtable base by implementing real-time auto-suggestions for the 'Company' and 'Company Address' fields within the Interface Designer. Specifically, I want users to be able to start typing a company name or address, and have Airtable suggest existing entries based on what’s already in the table, similar to how Excel auto-suggests based on previous entries.I’ve explored options like linked records and single select fields, but these either require extra steps or don’t provide the seamless experience I’m looking for. Ideally, I’d like this functionality to be constantly available while users are working within the Interface, without needing to run scripts manually.Has anyone successfully implemented something like this, or is there a recommended approach or workaround that could achieve this within Airtable’s current capabilities?Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi, I'm trying to calculate the number of days until a date, however the result isn't correct.I think using the term TODAY is causing issues due to the difference of my time zone compared to Airtable's. Is there a way to add the time zone into the formula, or can I add/subtract days somehow?Here's the formula I am using;  DATETIME_DIFF( Date, TODAY(), 'days' )   

I have an automation script that searches a table for a matching record. Based on the examples I could find, I wrote it to retrieve that column from all the rows using selectRecordsAsync(), and then loop through all the rows looking for a match. But this sometimes times out after 30 seconds. The table has about 1800 rows.Is there some way from a script to get the lookup done on the server side, e.g. by passing in a formula? I was able to do this easily in make.com using the airtable search action and a formula, but it seems like there should be a way to do this in airtable itself.  

TLDR: is there a standard format that people use to define the application they want to build so companies can bid on it's implementation?When a new person decides to farm out the work to one of the solutions companies that are part of this community, is there a standard specification document that a customer can author that allows solution architects to bid on the implementation?  Or is there another site that people solicit specialists to do the project?  I am sure that the types of customers range from a small retailer to a large company, with each solution provider geared to implement on either small, medium or large solutions.  But there is probably a cap on the "large" before a company just goes full oracle database or the like....TBH, it would probably be an interesting airtable/filltable app to allow people to define their requirements. I wouldn't be surprised if one is out there and I'm just not aware of it. 🙂Thanks.Jeff

I have an automation that uploads attachments to OneDrive, then adds them to Airtable with their publically accessible URL.  This has worked for for well over 2 years, and a few months ago, randomly stopped with no changes on my end.  No errors get thrown anywhere, and we can actually see an attachment pop in for a second in Airtable and then clear out.  The revision log appears to show me adding the attachment, then deleting it. After weeks of forking around and thinking I was going crazy, I stumbled upon another form post and Lo!  'tis apparently a

I have a public readonly table with many links. When I click on any link, a "leave airtable" modal window opens. When I try to click on the "continue" button, the window just closes. Because of this, I can't use my table

Dynamic filters on tables are a much needed addition, but they aren't avialble for an interface. Any idea when and if these will be availble? It is a much needed filter to prevent users from having to scroll through a large number of records and potentially select the wrong record.

So I tried to include a formula at the bottom of the Rollup field: IF(value > {ranking},ARRAYJOIN(values, ", ")) I was hoping to see:  12, 13 but i got #ERROR instead... Hello! In my Inventory Tracking table, I want to name each item as: #Order Date-Product-Supplier. Everything looks good in my form when I'm entering the info, with the date format as expected, but then in my "Name" function field, timezone is included as "T00:00:00.000Z" I've tried reformatting the date field, deleting and re-adding, hiding it - nothing works to remove this extraneous info... any ideas? Hello Airtable Community,I have a table with projects and an interface with a timeline view.I would like to display graphically when the project timeline changes. This does not necessarily have to be displayed in this timeline, a new view can also be created. HelloI would like to know if it is possible to build an automation --> if Column B (Actual timeframe) changes and does not match with Column A (Initial timeframe), then the Column C (On time?) would change to YES or NO (single select option YES/NO)? Additionally, the actual timeframe value comes from Miro board. Thank you in advance! 

Hi, I'm using an automation to Find Records on a quote and then to Sort this list before duplicating these records onto a Purchase Order.  I'm using the Sort list function and the the Looping function to go through each record, referencing the sorted list instead of the original set of records from the Find Records step.  Unfortunatley I'm using Manual Sort, and Airtable doesn't recognize its own Manual Sort means of using lowercase and upper case letters to sort this list properly.  Has anyone else run into this?For example, in this list: c1KWVc1KYc1KZc1Kbc1Kdc1Kec1Kgc1Ki The sort results put C1Kb as the first result, while Manual Sort puts C1KWV as the first record... Thanks in advance for any tips or suggestions.

Hello all,We have an automation set up through Zapier that searches for a record and updates the record if it finds it and creates a new one if it doesn't. The problem I am having is that duplicate records are being created that match the search criteria. I am unsure why and where to look for the issue (Work Flow: Jot Form to Zapier to Airtable).Additionally, if anyone has a fix for a dupe record created because there is an extra space in the field (where and how can I strip it out or make it part of the search criteria)Attached are my search criteria (with a fictional test person) in Zapier and the ID in Airtable.Thanks for any suggestions. 

I'm new and have watched a lot of excellent tutorials that seems to indicate that I should be able to do what I want, but I wanted to ask the user-base to confirm, and perhaps to add any "to do that, do this" comments. looking to create a simple automation to match people up based on age and interest(s). Brand new to AirTable. I built a table for "users" and "matches"My use case is to match people up based on age range, gender, and interest.Any suggestions on how to build out the logic? I want to have a drop down of gender/age/interests. So would need to find matching people in the "users" table and email them the matches full profile.  Thank you!
