Hi, I created a form where people can choose if they want 1 or 2 tickets. I have 40 tickets only available. I have no idea how to setup the form and the table so the form close when the 40 are reached.... Any ideas ?  Thank you !

I am trying to figure out how I can get more than ONE record on a page in the page designer app. It seems like you can only have one record per page. I would like to have up to 20 records on one page. Is this possible? Thanks!

I am looking for something like page designer where I can populate variables based on fields in airtable. However, I want the output to be back to back in a single document like notepad. I don’t want to deal with physical page sizes and I don’t want each record on a different page. Is there anything out there?

I know this should be easy, but I'm new to Airtable and apparently missing something obvious.I want to let users add a new contact to my base.I have a People table and a Companies table.  They are joined with a multi-to-multi Roles table [Person, Company, Job Title].I've built a form to accept a new People record, but:1) How do I detect if a matching record already exists.  If it does, I don't want to create a duplicate2) I want the form to also ask for the new contact's company and create a new Role. But, I can't ask for Company in a form on People, If, instead, I put the form on Role, then I can't create a new Person or Company; I can only accept existing ones.My assumption is that I'm trying to force the system to act in a way it doesn't want. And, that's fine. Hey Friends!Got an invoice table that calculates taxes before we send it out. We're in the service industry, meaning sales are done in many different counties.Currently I just have Airtable reference the address to pull the county and apply that county's tax rate.Problem is there's hundreds of different county/city tax location codes here in Washington alone (see below img) and these change every 3 months.We have to manually update them and it's brutal. Anyone know of or currently using a better system for handling taxes? 

Hi,Is there a way to take an existing page designer extension, figure out what fields are displayed on it, and create a table view showing those same fields? The goal is to have a table view where if I fill in every cell, I could then print "all records in view" in the page designer extension and feel confident that every page will be fully filled in. I've been doing it manually by creating a brand new all-fields-hidden view, going into the editing view of the the page designer extension, copying the name of each field and unhiding that field in the view. But there's dozens of extensions and dozens of fields. I assume this could be done with two separate scripts? One to take the page designer extension as an input and then output a csv list of the field names, and one script that takes the list of field names as an input and could create a view with those fields shown and all other fields hidden.

I currently use the Airtable API connection to pull data into Google Sheets. I've gotten an automated message that the API key will no longer work in 2024. Is there a new solution that I can use? 

I want to change a field type from single line text to a multi select. There are 606 records inputted as single line text, but we need to make them multi select as we will be using that data as tags in Softr to create search capabilities. When I go to edit the field, it keeps throwing the error "An error has occurred. Please refresh this page." Refreshing the page does not help. Has anyone experienced this same issue? Please help.   

I know about the various training resources for Airtable. I am wondering what more advanced users may suggest as far as approaching how to apply the tool to particular problems. We are an HOA management group and are moving away from Town Square in order to build our own internal workflow system. Member data, project submissions, complaints, gate access requests, etc. How does one ‘visualize’ a scenario in which AirTable can address these disparate parts to our system?

Hi,I am trying to generate an OAuth token via servicenow and I am running into some issues. When trying to get my OAuth token I am faced with the follow error:"error=invalid_request&error_description="state"+parameter+is+invalid.+Note+that+it+is+required.&state=-68948287"I am reading through the documentation of OAuth reference just now (OAuth reference - Airtable Web API) and see the state parameter should follow certain rules and I believe I am not breaking them with the below state value:'Jt8WzfnT7dSbXn2xL1dY.mJq3-UvN4Kz0oGcRbH6pEjViI9Xy_OgZAkCs5lPuehr' I have created a rest message and application registry record for this integration and using the 'Get OAuth Token' ui action withing servicenow to do this. I have two tables in airtable from the same project in JIRA.1 - Named: "Aurora EPICS [NL]".I made an export (.CSV) from JIRA and uploaded it in Airtable.All registers (139) and its columns (288) was uploaded: I want to update these registers from now on, adding new registers when they created in JIRA and update existent registers when they modified in JIRA. Is it possible?  How?2 - Named "Aurora EPICs - [JQL]".I used the extension "Jira Cloud" (by Airtable) and obtained the same 139 registers but with less columns, only 11.Four doubts:A - Can automatize the connection between AirTable and JIRA in the table #1.B - Can I bring more columns to the "Aurora EPICs - [JQL]" table?C - I trying to use Automations in both case. Good afternoonStill a newbie to Airtable so I appreciate the help.I have a series of tables that have a "next follow up" column and I'd like to be able to create a table that would show only those with the due date of today.  In other words, it would only show all of my task for that day in the table but the records/tasks would come from multiple other tables within my base.  Hoping that makes sense.Thank you!

I have ordered my fields in a specific way so the most important few fields are shown when looking at the linked record preview, however, I've noticed that this isn't reflected in the mobile app. See examples below (I've blocked out the data for confidentiality).Desktop linked recordMobile linked recordIs there a way to make these the same? Whenever I open our Airtable calendar, it opens on July 2018. I realize the solution is as simple as clicking the “Today” button. But does anyone know how to set the default to always open to the current month?

Is it possible to hide the year in a field with the date field type? Right now entries show “4/8/2018” I just need the “4/8”.

Hello,I am trying to make the process of time tracking more user-friendly. Instead of using the duration field and writing manually each time record, I would like to use two single select fields as StartTime and EndTime pickers, each containing values 00:00, 00:15, 00:30, 15:30, 15:45, 16:00, etc.But I am stuck with a formula that makes a magic difference between these two times.Is it even possible with a formula, or does it need to be done with some sort of script?Thank you

But those posts were almost year old. Does anyone needs this? I am looking to build this if there is enough demand. You can show your interest by filling your email in this form and can also ask for feature request to be included.

How to create a form that adds data to existing records, rather than creating a new record?For further context; in my table, each record is a Client and their contact details are noted. I want to use a form to add their email subscription status (single select field) without doing it through a filtered grid view.I tried setting up a form in the Client table but it added a new Client record and didn't allow me to select an existing client. Hi,I'm new to Airtable and using it to connect a number of various data sources, add additional data, and create custom views.  I know how to create linked/lookup fields for data I've created in Airtable, but I'm trying to figure out (essentially) how to do that dynamically from an integration.  In particular:* I have a Jira project (PROJ) with parent tickets (e.g., epics) and child tickets (e.g., stories).  The tickets have different types within Jira.* In Jira, the child has the Parent Link field so they are clearly connected.* I made a table in Airtable for the parent and have it synced to Jira.  The ticket ID is the primary field.* I made a table in Airtable for the children and have it synced to Jira.  Ticket ID is again the primary field.* Parent Ticket ID is a field in the child table, and it shows data like PROJ-1234.I would like to automatically connect that with the parent table so that I can add other lookup fields (e.g., Description) to the child ta

In the iOS app, I can edit all types of fields in the interfaces except the "Link to another record" fields. I can view related fields, but I can't link or unlink them, although I can do that on the web. Is this a bug?

I've got a project where I am designing a set of similar interfaces, accessible to different users.  I would like to reuse page layouts and expanded record layouts (when you open a record from the element on the interface page). I can initially reuse by copying the page, but that doesn't keep them in sync. Having to redesign the same expanding record form layout is also really painful.Is there some kind of template that can be used for the page layouts and expaded record forms?

I manage a very large grant program (100+ active grant recipients ongoing), and we're doing most of our data tracking in Airtable.  We want to add a customer/grantee portal, and I have seen various Airtable add-ons mentioned. (We do not want to add each grantee as an Airtable user.)Our main need in this portal is something that can handle/track communications between our team and grantees. We need something that threads or lists all the communications that went to that particular grantee, regardless of which team member sent the message.  ie: Sometimes one team member starts a conversation, then others pick up and continue the conversation. This needs to be clear and easy to follow (no massive "original message" bits tacked onto the bottom of every reply like happens when clients using ZenDesk hit "reply" in email.) It would also need some sort of notification when the grantee sends us a message. Has anyone had direct experience with any of the portal-creation add-ons to
