Is it possible to link multiple filters to a single grid in an Interface? I have a base with 11 tables; 1 primary table and 10 support tables. In my primary table, I have 31 fields, 10 of which are linked records. I would like to create an interface for my client that will allow for as simple or as complex a query as needed. To explain further:My primary table is a plant directory. I would like my client to be able to choose a simple query, such as:All plants that are Red. I would also like my client to be able to choose a complex query, such as:All plants that are Red or Orange, Low Maintenance, requires Full Sun, is Fragrant and is Deer Tolerant.Is there a way in Airtable to be able to accomplish this?Thank you in advance, Mr. Brad B.

Hi,I'd like to give users a button to create a new table in the backend with default fields and table name. This table could be a duplicate of an existing table. Is is possible to implement this functionality on the front end?

Im loving MiniExtensions and Airtable. It does exactly what is needed without clunkiness. Creates a portal for users to work with and see your data.  Id looked at Softr, Noloco and others, but they get very pricey or very complex fast and need a lot of line by line field crafting. MiniExtensions is simple and does the trick.Keen to see though, with anyone else using Airtable and MiniExtensions, how are you better managing login and front end access?  Airtable creates users and magic links well, but Im hoping someone may have worked out a way to manage password or phone numbers to send the passcodes to? Users at my end are fairly simple so I need to dumb it down and keep it secure same time.

I already have an automation using a webhook, that when I add a new record in a certain table, a sign request is created and sent to the relevant email address. What I need to do now is after the document is signed by the recipients, save it as an attachment on the same record.Any idea how it can be done?

Hello!I have a table (table A) that has two fields I want to display in another table (table B). One of the columns in table A is a check box value, the other is free text. I have linked table A inside table B and created two look up columns in table B to display the check box column and the free text ones but they turn up blank. Any ideas on why this is happening? 

Trying to set up the barcode generator (Little Appy Co) suggested by airtable - however the content field is not valid. I have tried all the suggested field types numbers / auto number / single line text etc but still telling me when I try to generate invalid field. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong. 

I have a table where we can record incidents occurring at school and select an incident category (e.g., stealing). Once a teacher selects an incident, they can choose the logical consequences from another table. Each incident category has a list of specific consequences. Can you explain how I can create a dropdown menu in Airtable and Airtable forms so that the values available for logical consequences are filtered to show only those related to the selected incident category?

I'm an author, and I use Scrivener to write my manuscripts. As you can imagine, keeping up with characters and all their details is a necessity but until I started using Airtable and up until late last night when I had an "ah ha" moment, it's been a nightmare. Last night, I configured a base to keep tract of characters and locations. I then created a character development form to fill out when plotting and designing the story. Another "ah ha" moment later and I remembered that I can add webpages to Scrivener as documents and they will open up in the editor pane as if the webpage is a part of Scrivener. So, I grabbed the share view link for the form as well as the Gallery view for the characters of the book series I'm working on and attached them to the Scrivener file. Everything is working beautifully, but it will not allow me to edit the character records in this view within Scrivener. Greetings allI have various stock lists from my suppliers all in their own various PDF / CSV format.Each suppliers stock list has its own Product SKU Description.Some suppliers have one document for 'stock' (i.e. quantity), one document for price list (price per product SKU), and one document for 'Special Pricing' (an override of the standard price list).I want to map each suppliers stock and pricing to my unique Product SKU so I can then show the total stock I have available to sell to my customer network and filter the lowest pricing between my suppliers etc. Any suggestions welcome...Thank you!

I have a lot of personal views. I'd like to split them into sections like you can with collaborative views. I can't find an option for this. Is there a way to do this?

I want to create a summary of my table row, which has linked records to them. Ideally, the entire summary in text, with the linked records expressed in text within the entire summary. I have two existing bases in the same workspace on a Team plan. The new dynamic filter option appears in one of the bases as an option for new and existing linked record columns. It does not appear as an option in the other base, either on existing linked record columns or new ones. All of the linked records use text fields for the primary key. What makes dynamic filters appear as an option in one base but not another? Thank you

I could use some help correctly setting up a multiple select field that monitors changes in other fields. For context, this'll be setup for internal use mostly for billing purposes. Once the tagged change(s) in the multiple select field have been resolved, they'll be manually cleared. Scenario: I have a multiple select field called Changelog that monitors changes in other fields in the same table- Contribution Status, Contribution Amount, and Current Donation. Any change in a record associated in a specified group should have their respected outputs reflected in the Changelog field. Issue: I want the Changelog field to populate any and all changes. Sometimes the output looks accurate, other times it does not. In the example screenshots, I changed a record's Contribution Status which resulted in changes to both the Contribution Status and Contribution Amount- correctly reflected in the changelog. I am building a base to control the orders of my market. In there, I want to "Add a new order" and select the products of the order, while choosing their quantities. Is that possible? Also, I want to calculate the order value with the quantities of each product.

Then the data on the excel template will then be manually transferred to another table. I am working with a new company that has five main areas I would like to manage using Airtable. These five areas operate independently but collaborate on the same projects, each contributing different inputs.Here is my question:Which is better: to have five different bases that sync (one-way) to a main base, or to have all five areas work in a shared base with individual tables and permissions?

Because automations are so limited in formatting options for email messages, I'm stuck having to create a bunch of extra fields solely to copy specifically formatted other fields and change them to flat text so they'll appear correctly when emails are sent.Because of this, I'm currently hung up trying to get currency to format properly. I have a formula field that outputs values as a currency into a field that we'll call "Dollar Total", including thousands and decimal separators. I was able to use a concat formula to get the basic copying done, including adding the $ manually at the start, but it doesn't handle decimals properly which then further complicates trying to get a formula to manually insert the thousands separator commas.For instance, if a value is "$14,500.00" it'll output as "$14,500" but if it's $14,500.80" all I get is "14,500.8". It'll go out as far as I do with numbers after a decimal, but if it's only zeroes it drops them, and then that breaks the man

Is there any way to archive a chart in airtable?I created some graphs using the airtable interfaces, the point is that one of these graphs represents how much I spent on each category in the current year until the current moment, so when the year turns, this graph is reset.I would like to be able to archive it or "freeze" it within the airtable itself, so I would have a year-by-year history to analyze in which categories I spent the most in that particular year.If it were possible, I would like an automation to copy this graph and archive this copy on December 31st, since on the first day the information will be reset. If this function doesn't exist yet, please think about implementing it, it would really be very useful. 

Hi all, Can one base be the central CRM and the content editable in all other bases? For example, one central base could hold the organizations (companies, etc.) and their contacts, while the other bases could be used by different team members. The central information would be in each base and could be changed.I've created an image and each square represents a base.  

When creating a form, we can limit the options the submitters can select. Is there a way to do a similar set up at the user level?I was thinking maybe, at the interface level, we'd be able to limit the selection of a single select field. But that doesn't seem to be an option. Maybe there's another way to do this? Here's my scenario:I have a dropdown that my users can edit, but I don't want to give them all the options. Maybe I split the options and connect them with formulas?I have an Inventory Table with a drop-down where users can change the status.
