Hi, I'm trying to make a p&L. I'd like to grab the total expenses per month from the Expense Table and reference it in the P&L table. I've oragnised the data in the Expense table by month. In the group view I can see the totals, but I can't reference or copy them to the P&L Table. I tried to get around this by creating a "Lookup" linking the expenses in the Expense table to the P&L table. But I have to manually select each transaction. I have thousands of transactions and selecting them one by one is too time consuming. Does anyone have any advice for how I can make this work?  

Inside the Interface Designer, I've tried many ways to get this Record List from the Project Tracker template, but could not find a way. How do I get this? I have tried creating Record Review, but the behaviour is somewhat different. I tried creating from blank but the only option available is Record Picker. Appreciate your help and expertise. Thank you in advance.

Hi all I’m curious to know if there is a way to use single select tool in web forms pulling from data from the grid indicating that a selection has already made. For example, if 10 people are signing up for 10 potluck dishes and one person has already signed up, the potluck options are reduced to nine in the forms. I guess this is considered conditional but not sure how it would work. Thanks

Hi,Not sure if title accurately matches my question. I have 2 tables linked by "Part Code":Table 1: Parts. Columns: Part CodeTable 2: Offers. Columns: Supplier Name, Part Code, PriceIn Table 1 I would like to add columns that automatically select the lowest Offer per Part Code. So Table 1 would have e.g. columns Part Code, Cheapest Supplier, Cheapest Price. Latter 2 automatically filled.Is this possible, if so, how? Any help appreciated!

Hi, I'd like to know if it's possible to get the ID of an interface's table from its page ID, or if there's any other way to get the ID of an Interface's lined data for the api from within the interface itself? In the DOM or anywhere else?Our team built an integration for Airtable that lets users run their own features from within the Airtable page. Hello,I am working on a base that includes artists' names and a lot of them have diacritics in their first and last name. Is there a formula that I can use that could identify if there are diacritics used? It can be a simple True or False formula that I can then use a filter to isolate everyone with diacritics in their name. For First and Last name I am used simple Single line columns.A list of names is important because it is used for a remapping feature on our website, so the end result for airtable needs to be a filtered view of names. I appreciate any help you can provide with this.

Hi y'all,I am trying to figure out if there is a way to change my primary field when I am using data that is automatically integrated from a Google sheet. Basically, I have a Google Form folks fill out and the first question is what their name is. When they submit the form, a row is automatically created in a corresponding Google Sheet, and once that row is completed, a new entry is automatically created in AirTable. However, when the AirTable entry is made, the primary field is the time stamp from when the form is submitted, presumably because this is the first column in the Google Sheet. HELLO! I have been wracking my brain trying to figure out how to make this seemingly easy function work and keep hitting dead ends. Basically, I have a list of schools we manage, and I need to assign a phase number to them as new projects are created. The problem is, they are not submitted in order, and we have about 230 schools. I need to be able to count how many times prior this school has had a project created so I can keep track of what phase number we are on. I have a sheet where all incoming projects are being submitted via Paperform, and another “Master” sheet with the school name linked to the incoming projects school name. Every possible option I’ve been able to come up with changes every answer within the column and I need each row to be “set”, if that makes sense. I’m curious if there are any plans to add conditionally shown fields to Interfaces, similar to what is possible in form view? For example, if you’re tracking network outages you might use one field to specify that the cause is a power outage, in which case you would want other fields to appear that let you specify when the power outage started and ended (so you can track UPS runtime when the power goes out, and site recovery time when it comes back.)

Hi - just getting into Airtable. I’ve got a spreadsheet with book details that includes authors in a field. I have them in inverted commas ie “Last Name, First Name”. This is so that I can then take the field and link to another record to create a field in an Author table where the authors appear as a record with “Last Name, First Name” in the field. However, once the spreadsheet gets into Airtable (whether pasting or importing) the inverted commas have vanished from sight and so when I link to another record each author creates two records, one with “Last Name” and one with “First Name”. Is there any workaround for this? I’ve seen the help page about preparing text but that requires adding inverted commas around every author in every record after importing which will be a massive task. The only solution I’ve come up with so far is to have authors as “Last Name/First Name” or “Last Name-First Name” in the spreadsheet as then there is no comma delimiter problem in linking

Most 2FA systems allow you to enter a code manually so you don't have to scan the QR code but there is no option for that in AirTable. My camera on my phone is currently broken and so I have no way I can set up 2FA with AirTable with my authentication app.Is there a button I am missing somewhere next to the QR code to get the key manually?

Is there anyone who has a script to unzip an attachment field into another attachment field. In other words in Attachment field 1 is a zip file, have a script unzip and put all attachments as separate files in Attachment field 2. The zip file is coming in from Jotform through a zap in Zapier.

Hi there,I'm creating a weekly digest email that pulls all records created from the past week and displays as a Grid of Records in the email.When a preview is generated within Airtable, the formatting is clean and the text for each entry doesn't wrap within the cell.However, when the email is sent out, text within in each cell wraps, making each row taller than a single line and isn't a consistent height. I’ve been trying to delete a published interface but can’t find where to delete it. I opened the interface and looked for a delete button but couldn’t find one. I exited the interface and went to my workspace to see all of the bases and interfaces I have, but I couldn’t find an option to delete it there. Thank you in advance.

There's this one table that is for recapping all of our clients' consultation sessions. After each client consultation sessions, that session will get added to this table as a separate entry, and be given a specific Consultation ID. Hi, I'm playing with the interfaces and I have a question. Is there any way I can share an interface with a person that hasn't an Airtable account?I don't want to add them as collaborators, because they should see only that interface (not the base) and I don't want to ask them to create an Airtable account just to see my interface.
