Hello Airtable Community, I have a timeline display and group on three levels (market, category, linked event)For some entries, there is no linked event. However, it is very important that it is also displayed for the entries with linked events.Can I somehow prevent the entries without links from always showing (empty)?Thank youMirko   

Hello!I am trying to create a formula that categorises ships by type, then size category, and if they meet both of those criteria they are assigned a value that is annual fuel consumption appropriate for the vessel's size category. If not, the IF test continues through all size categories and finally ends on "NA" if nothing it true. I would have thought I would be able to nest like the below example, but for some reason it only generates the correct answer for the first two size categories, then everything higher in size gets the same second highest fuel value:IF(AND({VESSEL TYPE} = "SHIP TYPE1" , {SIZE CATEGORY}<=1000),"XX Fuel consumption value",IF(AND({VESSEL TYPE} = "SHIP TYPE1" , {SIZE CATEGORY}>=1000<=1999),"XX Fuel consumption value",IF(AND(

It would be great if you could select or filter records by a pop up / embeddable calendar in interfaces.

Is there anyway to set up timeline or gnatt views to see more than 2 dates?Currently I have the "duration" of the record, but there is a repeated "event" that happens through the duration of the record (recorded in another table with a link to the first table). I'd like to be able to visualize when these events are occurring on the same timeline, is that possible?

I am setting up a new system for our company to track our projects and record how many days each designer has worked on a project and, equally, how many days a project has been worked on. The calendar view doesn't work for us, as date ranges don't work here. We also don't want to have to fill in time sheets anymore, we just want the table to calculate the number of times a record (project) appears in the design schedule. The rollup function isn't working here to add up each instance of a record.Can you help me figure out how to set this up so that the "Projects" table, and the "Design Schedule" table link to count up how many times a project appears across the 5 days. Ideally it would be great to figure out how to show how long each person has spent on each project but ultimately the goal is to work out how much time has been spent on each project total. I don't know much about functions and their language so I assume this is wh

I have an interface in a list form.  I added a button to the interface. I want the user to be able to select multiple records from the list and click on submit. However I see that the button is disabled and it does not detect the source. I tried adding a dummy record picker element at the top and I could then see the button. But my question is I should not have to add that dummy element because I just don't need it on my interface page. It just creates a lot of confusion for the user to see that dropdown. Is there a resolution for this? Do automations only run when there are record pickers in the interface? Because that is pretty weird according to me.

I tried to search the community before posting and found this question (with no solution) several times, but the posts I found were pretty old so I just wanted to double check to make sure this was still impossible using Airtable alone.I'd like to use the Date Dependency features to help with automatically shifting task and displaying in a Gantt chart. However, many of the tasks span less then one day. For example:Task 1: Purchase Paint - Start 6/12/2024 - End 6/12/2024Task 2: Paint Wall - Start 6/12/2024 - End 6/12/2024I can't paint the wall until I purchase the paint, so I want to setup a dependency. But it doesn't take an entire day to purchase paint. When I setup Date Dependencies, the only option I have for creating a duration field is at the "day" level and setting dependencies means my tasks on the same day can't overlap. Am I missing something? Is there a workaround? Or is this still an issue?

I have a automated email that goes out to a group of non-collaborators when a form is filled out.  The emails contain an inserted grid with designated information from that form including any attachments that were submitted.  These attachments are, however, not viewable by the non-collaborators.  Share and sync is turned on.  Is there a setting I am missing?  Is it not possible for non-collaborators to view the attachments?  Is there a workaround that doesn't involve giving the non-collaborators access to the base?Thanks for the help!

I'm trying to create a weekly digest of invoices submitted in the past week. The idea is that people submit invoices via an Airtable form, then the automation sends a message to a Slack channel and a person in that channel presses a button shown in the Slack message once they've all been paid. Pressing that button then marks them all as 'Paid' in Airtable. I've gone through other similar threads about this and I'm not able to understand why I keep getting the 'Received invalid inputs' message. I'm quite certain that I've linked the correct Airtable record IDs (i.e. the ones found in the intermediate Find Records step). See screenshots, but any help would be much appreciated!

Although the Kanban view has many limitations it was working before the last released update...the bugs are really annoying...limiting staffs ability to work effectively in the Kanban view without refreshing the screen every 2-minutes...what is the plan Airtable? It would have been nice to have a heads up on the change or at least a "we're working on a solution" message.1- after expanding a record and closing it, the scroll option simply does not work...in order for the scroll feature to work the screen needs refreshed- major pain in the a$$2- when entering a new record from the new carrot at the top of the uncategorized category, the system is automatically assigning a category...the add task at the bottom still works but you have to scroll (or attempt to scroll and then refresh the screen) all the way to the bottom to add a task. Oh, where did the new uncategorized record go- good question...oh look- it was automatically assigned to the wrong group...fun times for al

I have a table of pricing data for products. It has several hundred products.  Without too much modification to that table and its data, I want to add a field with a checkbox so that if Check/Uncheck it will Copy or Remove the data to another table.  On this other table, there will be additional fields added.  Really a newbie to Automations but I started with the Trigger when the Checkbox is updated and that seems right, but I can't seem to figure out the Action part.  Would that be an if/else statement?

Hi Folks,I am essentially trying to automate quota calculations for the sales team in Airtable. As I explore setting up the tables, I'm running into constant brainfogs.1. Im dividing the "record" (quarterly target) by "3" (to break this into a monthly target) but i'm receiving a #ERROR. Can anyone help me fix this?2. The way I set up these records is to have the employee ID + Month when the plan start date is; Therefore, each employee has 12 records. How can I build a reference table so I can link the records and specifically link the values into the current table? I currently calculate the quotas in Gsheet to then copy and paste in the current process but I'd like to automate this. Additionally, if I need to link the record to each of the 12, how can I automate that? Seems like automation setup could address this issue.I thou

I'm experiencing something weird - I have a formula field ("Cheque 2 amount") set up to subtract different currency fields. All fields, including Cheque 2 amount are set to currency format with 2 decimal places.  Everything looks normal in Airtable:However, I have a "send email" automation set up that uses the Cheque 2 Amount as a token, and some of those emails are displaying this token with 14 or so extra decimal places (here is the email generated from that same record above): Seems to be happening to maybe a quarter of the 160 or so records I was working with this morning. I can't see anything different about

Hi, I have an Interface with an attachment field and I'm adding small PDF's. These are sometimes multipage PDF's All good on PC but when opening via the Airtable App on Mobile, it only displays one page. Multiple pages can be viewed if download but not just by opening. Happens on multiple device (Android). Am I missing something ?CheersJason   

So I have PDFs that are standardized for our organization. Is there any solution to take records from airtable and insert the data in to my Form Fillable PDFs. Is this possible? I looked at a lot of the extensions currently and none of them, even talked to some of the extension sites and they don't have the ability to do what I need. 

Currently when viewing a record's details in an interface, Grid/List visualizations can be used to view the record's "linked records", however these visualizations cannot be used on the record itself.I.e, if I have a Customer record with Order linked records, I can view the Orders in Grid/List visualization, however, I cannot view the Customer record itself in a Grid/List on that same page.What I would like to do is to show some of the Customer's fields in Grid/List view. When there are many fields this allows to show selected fields in a neat one-row view. (Rather than having each field one after the other vertically).Currently my workaround is to create a new linked record field where I link the record to itself, but it would be great if this could be done without this workaround.

Hello everybody, i have a problem with an automation, it worked for more than a year without problems, but now it stopped to working giving me this error: attachment url is disallowed. I specify that nothing has been changed in the trigger, nor in the file to be attached (it is the same pdf format), the trigger starts when it finds the conditions inserted (and this passes) but when the email is sent it fails. Can you help me solve? Thank you

Is there a straightforward way to handle this?I have two tables:contactsemail addressesThere's a field linking them. Each contact may contain multiple email addresses. What I want is to have a field in the contacts table that displays one email address - but not just the first or last record, I want the best address for that contact.I've created a formula field in the email addresses table that assigns a score based on various criteria. Ideally, a 'top email address' field (in contacts table) would identify the highest-scoring address within the addresses linked to that contact and display only that one.---I realize I could sort the email addresses table and then have a lookup field take the first one. For several reasons, I'd prefer to not have to change the sort order.Any other suggestions come to mind?

So I know this has been an on-and-off issue with Airtable or a long time and mostly resolves itself after a while but I thought this was an issue of the past but no, still happens now and then like today..see 100's of my images broken randomly, some show up, others don't. If you open it, it can't open. The temporary URL via automation can still be generated, but can't be downloaded, instead an HTML page is downloaded saying the access is denied - permissions problem? Wait for a few hours to see if it gets fixed before contacting Airtable. Last time they told me to restore from snapshots. No, that doesn't work lovely airtable support team, snapshots show also broken images, same images broken as the live version, I can go as far as to last year and still same images show broken in the snapshot. N-o-t great.

Hi, Does someone else have problems getting webhook trigger from Hubspot ? Here is the response message that Airtable give to Hubspot:{"success": {"statusCode": 400},"fail": null} Wich apparently mean that things are not working properly.
