Hey, I have seen many people asking for amazon and airtable data connector which can help them get thier amazon seller data like inventory, sales, orders, etc into airtable. But those posts were almost year old. Does anyone needs this? I am looking to build this if there is enough demand. You can show your interest by filling your email in this form and can also ask for feature request to be included.

How to create a form that adds data to existing records, rather than creating a new record?For further context; in my table, each record is a Client and their contact details are noted. I want to use a form to add their email subscription status (single select field) without doing it through a filtered grid view.I tried setting up a form in the Client table but it added a new Client record and didn't allow me to select an existing client. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi,I'm new to Airtable and using it to connect a number of various data sources, add additional data, and create custom views.  I know how to create linked/lookup fields for data I've created in Airtable, but I'm trying to figure out (essentially) how to do that dynamically from an integration.  In particular:* I have a Jira project (PROJ) with parent tickets (e.g., epics) and child tickets (e.g., stories).  The tickets have different types within Jira.* In Jira, the child has the Parent Link field so they are clearly connected.* I made a table in Airtable for the parent and have it synced to Jira.  The ticket ID is the primary field.* I made a table in Airtable for the children and have it synced to Jira.  Ticket ID is again the primary field.* Parent Ticket ID is a field in the child table, and it shows data like PROJ-1234.I would like to automatically connect that with the parent table so that I can add oth

In the iOS app, I can edit all types of fields in the interfaces except the "Link to another record" fields. I can view related fields, but I can't link or unlink them, although I can do that on the web. Is this a bug?

Hey All.Curious how I might set this up.  Here's what I need.I have a form that interested parties need to fill out, an application.We review the potentials, and start the first pass of approvals/denials.The next stage is taking those that enter the next pass to be reviewed by instructors(who have their own base with info that can be a linked record to draw from)So we have a list of of records/attendeesWhat I want to be able to do is have each of the instructors to see the applicant, and make their ratings on each person/attendee/record.I'd thought of setting up like dynamic tables:Then I want an interface that makes it easier for the instructor to quickly rate each individual/potential attendee.  I think I'm almost there, but not sure.Thanks!Sean 

I've got a project where I am designing a set of similar interfaces, accessible to different users.  I would like to reuse page layouts and expanded record layouts (when you open a record from the element on the interface page). I can initially reuse by copying the page, but that doesn't keep them in sync. Having to redesign the same expanding record form layout is also really painful.Is there some kind of template that can be used for the page layouts and expaded record forms?

I manage a very large grant program (100+ active grant recipients ongoing), and we're doing most of our data tracking in Airtable.  We want to add a customer/grantee portal, and I have seen various Airtable add-ons mentioned. (We do not want to add each grantee as an Airtable user.)Our main need in this portal is something that can handle/track communications between our team and grantees. We need something that threads or lists all the communications that went to that particular grantee, regardless of which team member sent the message.  ie: Sometimes one team member starts a conversation, then others pick up and continue the conversation. This needs to be clear and easy to follow (no massive "original message" bits tacked onto the bottom of every reply like happens when clients using ZenDesk hit "reply" in email.) Hi all,A couple of users on my bases are making edits on the base, such as ticking a check box or adding a comment to a record, then when they return to that record the next day their changes have been removed, ie the checkbox is unticked and the comments are gone. This is causing some quite serious issues as we rely on these manual check boxes for quality checking. Anyone come across this issue or have any advice? Thanks.

I used to be able to allow users to create new records on linked fields but now I can't find this functionatlity. There was a toggle, editible and allow users to create a new field. This also applied to single select or multiple select categories. Is there a way to turn this feature back on? 

Hi, I'm trying to track accounts added or lost over time. I want to be able to view this data by week, month, quarter, or year and compare it to the previous period. How can I set this up? Base contains Customer Name, Added Date, Lost Date among other information. 

mainly a tiny rant. but i pretty much always create a new table from scratch. and Every. Single. Time i have go in and delete the extra fields that airtable always includes. i don't want Notes, and user, and status and whatnot.if it is "from scratch" it should have just the primary field. 

I work with a team and we have a field that we write notes in it (I don't like the comments section), the field type in Long text. It is very easy to accidentally delete contact from it. I want to defend it from this by demanding the user to manual saving the changes in the field, i mean like without auto save, that a user will have to hit Save button in order to modify the content. Is it possible? and if so, is there any built-in tool that i can do it with or we will need code / other external tool. By the way i know that we can Undo actions with Ctrl+Z but the problem is that we are not always notice that we've accedantlly deleting something. 

I have a problem with the embedded view where I cannot show more details from a second table that I have more detailed data in.My workspace has two main tables:1. master view of all data at a high level and2. components view - records linked to records visible in the master viewI have embedded the master view on a webpage, but can't show any of the details from components view on this embed.Only the title of the record is visible. Good afternoon everyone! I’m trying to create custom currency conversions for a project I’m involved with. We’re traveling around the world selling concert tickets at the door of the venues, and each country has a different currency. I want to be able to take the ticket price for each country’s currency and convert to USD which will then be displayed on that record. I’ve seen this script is available to convert currencies, but I don’t know how to make the currency type dynamic as it only seems to show a single currency in the example. How can I edit line 7, where is says “GBP” to take the currency abbreviation from a field that exists within the record (ex, EUR,NZD,AUS). Any help is appreciated!!

Hi, I've setup a form and I'm unsure why the pretty simple directions for "Enabling form redirects with record_ID" section from https://support.airtable.com/docs/applications-of-record-functions does not function correctly. I have gotten this to work on other forms in the past, and I'm wondering if there's some obscure reason why it won't work for this one?The redirect looks like it goes to a url with an appended newly generated rec but then it is a 404. Seems odd..Thanks for any help, much appreciated!

I am receiving this notice when attempting to upgrade: "We were unable to upgrade you at this time. Please refresh the page and try again. If you continue experiencing problems, please contact us."I would think a financial ticket would be considered important. 

I see a strange behaviour in detail views (when you allow user to open record detail on a list/grid..) in Interfaces. There are 2 pages on separate interfaces. Both pages have a Grid view for the same linked record field. However, when I click on "customize" under allow users to open record details in the properties panel, the detail views available are entirely different. Even if I create a new detail view, it doesn't show up in the other interface. Completely perplexed!  Any clue what's happening here?Can't share any screenshots as there is confidential data. 

Hey guys!I have a question about dates showing up on the timeline view. I have a table for schedules with a start date and an end date. By default if it's a single date (milestone) it fills out the start date if you build the schedule in calendar (as my company does). The calendar can show both records with single dates and records with a start and end date, but the timeline doesn't. It only show records with both start and end dates. Does anyone know of a way around this?My current workaround is I have an automation that changes the default start date to an end date when the record is created, but this causes it's own problems.Thanks!

I would like my base's users to be able to create interfaces so that they can work with the data exactly how they need, however I do not want to grant them creator privileges. I also do not want them to be able to share interfaces (or event better if possible, share only within our organization). Is this possible?

I'm trying out interfaces for the first time but I am a little lost in the UI for how to do the following. Essentially I want a list of projects as one column and a list of tasks in the 2nd column.  When I select a project on the left I want the right hand list column to show the tasks associated with that selected project.  Is this possible.  I realize I can do this with a drop down picker but that is not the interface I really want.
