Hi,I was wondering if it's meant to be possible to sort the cards manually within each stack in the Kanban element in an interface. You can do it in the Kanban view but I don't seem to be able to do it in an interface.Erik

I need to understand one thing regarding billing per user per workspace. If I am the owner and at the same time creator/editor/everything of 3 different workspaces, am I charged as “one user” or “three users”? There are three of use in the team who will need access to many different workspaces. Will we get charged per email address (even if that user uses 4 workspaces) or per number of workspaces that user uses? It's possible to "Link/Unlink Records" and "Add records through a form" on Android. But when I login to my Airtable App on the iPhone it doesnt show the X grey button on the upper right corner and the "add Record" button below. I'm using the same account to test the same interface on Android and iOS. I have a formula in the primary field of my table that combines a Date/time and the name of the brand in the appointment.  Formula I am using: DATETIME_FORMAT({Appointment Time},'MM/DD, H:MM A')&" - "&Brand results are randomly adding 2, 4 and 6 minutes to the time format, ex:04/09, 9:04 AM - Gregory(appointment time is 9:00 am in the calendar column) I'm lost, what am I not specifying that would prevent this? Thanks!

Hi, We have different bases in a single workspace that correspond to specific projects. One tab in each base is the project schedule. We would like to link all of these up in a separate ‘master-schedule’ base that can house a Gantt chart to keep track of our project pipeline. We would rather not have all the projects (dozens of tabs) in a single base. Is this possible with Airtable?

Hi,I have an automation in Make.com that adds a record to a table in Airtable. The connection uses an Airtable Personal Access Token. I have given the token all available permissions in Airtable, but am still receiving the below error message in Make.com:[422] Insufficient permissions to create new select option ""Microsoft PowerApps""I suspect it is because I am trying to add an option to a Multi Select field that doesn't already have this option specified in Airtable. Would appreciate any feedback on where I'm going wrong on the permissioning / access approach - it seems like this MUST be possible.I should add that I am currently on the Free plan; not sure if that has an impact.Many thanksBrett

I've created a dashboard interface and I've added a filter by date.I can do many type of filtering such as "is after...", "is before..." but I cannot filter between 2 specific dates.It seems that a "Is between (exact dates)" filter is missing.There's a "Is within" filter that seems close, BUT it does not allow to select specific dates.Is there a solution to that problem or am I missing something?

Hi everyone, I build an internal tool for a company where they organise their Projects, Invoices, Employees etc. As the Data is accumulating, we would like to get a better overview,, especially in the sense of knowing how the numbers look on a monthly basis. However this seems to be trickier than expected. For example Invoices: I want a summary for each month. Sum ingoing, sum outgoing, balance.Or I have the hours worked by each employee. I'd like a table where I have those numbers for every employeee on a monthly basis. What would be a good way to collect all sorts of data based on predefined (month, year etc) timeframes? I dont want to work with a custom view for each month. I tried displaying the dates as "March 2024, April 2024" but i cannot group by that. I thought about creating a "timeframe" table where every record is one month for example, but then I'd have to link every record (from different tables

Hi there - I’m trying to have an e-mail fire whenever anyone fills in a form. Two questions: I’ve set it up and it just doesn’t seem to be working. The test failed, and when I try creating a record using my own email address, the automated email doesn’t come through. I am on the free plan and there is a notice saying “On your billing plan, you may only email collaborators with verified emails.” - does this mean I need to upgrade for it to work? I this why it’s not working? Many thanks!

I have been using this booking form template (here is the community post where I found it) to try and create a student registration form, but I'm running into some snags. I'm hoping someone may be able to help me. The basic requirement is below (once I have that established, I'll play around and try and make it a bit better). What I need is a form where:Student enters in their student ID.Student chooses a research topic from the list.When they submit, this reserves that topic for that student, assigning their student ID against the topic. I have five topics (for simplicity sake: blue, green, red, pink, brown), and each topic has 25 space

Is it possible to only show a certain Extension Dashboard based on the selected Table view? Whenever I am in Table A, I want to see only the extension dashboard for Table A without having to select and change it every time.

This was asked by another user, but closed without a response. What are workarounds, other than downloading/uploading a CSV, to copy a table structure from one base to another?

Does anyone know why creating or linking records in elements with a linked record source is disabled (locked icon)? Right now, you see this when you mouse over those disabled buttons: This feature is not currently available in Interfaces for elements with a linked record source  Because I do need a linked, filtered, and sorted list element with a record source, I came up with the solution of adding a record picker element, just purely for the ➕ button that isn't disabled. I think the hover message means that the Airtable team is working on it, but not sure what the timing or issue is. Anyone know?

Hello. I am currently on the "Team" plan and by mistake one of our collaborators ended the available automations. Because from this workspace we manage two companies we need to resolve it urgently, although unfortunately after 24 hours of contacting the Airtable Team we still have no response.The recommended solution is to upgrade the current plan. Given that it is a specific situation that should not be repeated, what would be the best way to resolve it? It's okay if I have to pay.1 - Upgrade my current plan to the Business Plan, hoping that this will reset the automation count and then return to my current plan.2 - Since my current plan is annual, if I keep it (not upgrade) but change it to a monthly plan, will this reset the automation count?If you have any other solution I would appreciate it.It seems like a very bad idea to have to change your plan because you made a mistake. A change of plan should only be due to permanent needs of the company

I'm having trouble updating a date field with results from a formula. Please helpMy desired outcome is the following: When the user updates the "last communication date" field, then Airtable will automatically update the "next communication date" to be 7 days after the "last communication date." Running into an issue with automations. The command is if zip code contains x then update Region to x (Ex: If zip code contains "77033" then update Region field to say "Region 7") . Some zip codes overlap multiple regions. I set the Region field to allow multiple values thinking that would resolve any overlap issues. The problem is if I have 77033 in both Region 7 and Region 8, then I want the Region field to reflect both 7 and 8. As you can see in the screenshot I have created 7 total automations for each region and have listed the zipcodes for each of the 7 regions under each command. The command is failing for zip codes that are under multiple regions.

I have two automations set up that send me reminder emails when my records hit a specific date condition.  It is a "days remaining" type of condition.  I want to wake the base up every morning so that it can update the records and send the appropriate reminder emails.  Do I need to have the schedule automation first in the list so that it performs that first or does it not matter?

Hi,I am new to Airtable coming from Xano and using Thunkable as my mobile front end.In Xano I can create and API endpoint which will allow me to search for a specific value in a column in a table.  I see that I use the AirTable API to get a record but that is by record id.If I wanted to search by a field, email address for example, how would I accomplish this?ThanksSteve

Hey,My main table has a few dozen thousands records. In order to complete the process, I also need data from around 10 different tables, each of them also has a few thousands records. If I want to aggregate data from all of them in the main table, I'm reaching the records limit. My thing is - it's kinda waste of my database space to keep the details from all the tables, if I just need it to lookup one field and it's not being used for anything else.What would you recommend, what's the best practice? Hardcoding with automation and deleting is definitely not one of them.A great solution would be, if it was possible to sync many tables into one, (but not in the way it has been released recently), for example:if one of the fields in DB 1 is license plate, I would sync just lookup fields from another base with all the plates, directly to DB1 without having to create linked records and another table.not sure if I was clear enough, what are your thoughts?

I have synced my calendar (using sync to an external calendar option under share view) to my google calendar on my laptop. I see the events from that calendar there. On my phone, I have set up to see google calendars. When I look at a date that I know there is an event for, I do not see it. Any ideas as to why I would see it on the desktop calendar, but not on my phone?

I have a basic interface List View page setup on my base. I have an "Add Record" button in the top right of the page that opens a record creation form. On Desktop it works fine.On mobile, if you open the list view, the way you access the add Button is using the "+" button in the bottom left of the mobile interface. When I click the "+" button, you see a list of buttons you configured on desktop. I see the buttons I expect, and they are configured to open up a "Create" formThe issue is that when I click on a button in the list, nothing happens. I expect the create record form to popup, but it doesn't. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

I have created a space for the company that my clients can access to see their results (in a control panel, interface). But in order to see their results, currently, they have to create an account on airtable (which is strange for them since it is my company that provides the service)I want to know if it is possible that they can access to their dahboard (interfcae) without logging into airtable, or something similar, it is very important for me.Thank you
