Hello, I have a table with +400 records, and I want to ask a question about a “Multiple Select” column. How can I upload (or paste) separate records that I have in a CSV file, and put all of them as different categories in a “Multiple Select” column? The context of this is that I have a Form in FormAssembly and currently in the Multiple Select column I have countless records of unique categories, that include records that merged several categories (we had pre-defined 12 options). I'm debating on changing a single-select field to a multi-select field, but I'm uncertain on the effect it will have on all of the dependencies.I have a Progress flow that follows cold leads (potential investment deals) into committed investments, where we then put the deal into either a 'Syndicate Investment" view or a "Fund Investment" view, but some deals have both investments. SO, in the view prior to putting them into one of these investments, i'd like to change the single select to a multi-select that will allow me to put 2 tags on select investments where both the syndicate and fund will invest, thus moving the deal into both views. Is this going to screw up my full flow process? 

A noob here with Airtable. I've been looking for a way to consolidate data automatically between two tables.I want to match sales data from store into product database. At the first table I have product properties database. At the second table I have sales data from the system. They share in common the product code.The first table looks like this:Product code | Product name | Product units sold | etc...The second table looks like this:Product code | Product units sold | etc...Problem: As the sales data is imported into second table with DataFetcher extension, it is not easily connected with other product data. I'd like to somehow combine this data automatically, so that when browsing the first table, it would fetch the units sold information to each product based on the common product code. I'm working on tracking progress for multiple offices and their checklists. Currently, I have two tables - 1 with the Checklist and 2 with the Progress Report. The Progress Report is setup where the first column is the office name and the linked record field/column needs to select multiple records. There are 22 offices with around 25+ checklist items. It has been super tedious going through each line and added the linked records one by one. Is there any way to select multiple records at once to add it to the linked record field?

I've got a little script on Zapier where if somebody registers for a Zoom meeting, we add them to Airtable. To avoid duplicates, I search for to see if we already have a record for the registrant with a query like this:OR({Email 1} = "{{email}}",{Email 2} = "{{email}}",{Email 3} = "{{email}}",{Phone 1} = "{{phone}}",{Phone 2} = "{{phone}}",{Phone 3} = "{{phone}}")However, if Airtable doesn't find the email in any of the three email columns and the {{phone}} is blank, then Airtable will return a result for a record with a blank phone number, which is obviously not what we want here.Is there any way to construct a query that will not return a match for an empty phone number?Thanks!

Was playing around with the new function for dynamic linked records and was intitally very excited about it, but am wondering if there's something that I am doing wrong. After setting the dynamic filter, if I try to look for records that were not filtered when i try to add a linked record, I don't see those records (aka working as intended).However, when I copy and paste a name of a linked record that I know should pass the filter into the field, it shows up there. In my use case, I am using an automation to copy and paste from one field into a linked record; is there a way to only paste the ones that are allowed in the filter for linked records? (seem to have this issue regardless of whether its a static or dyanmic filter and not sure if its a bug)

Not sure how to even ask this - below is a nice calendar view with tasks on it that have durations set for them.  I don't need to set durations for tasks, but I do want to have "successive" tasks shift by the same amount as any "predecessor" task that I drag to a new place on the calendar as I reorder things.  So if "Task1" is currently due April 1, and "Task2" is due April 15," any change to one should change the other equally.  The commonality between the tasks is a project or client name, and all tasks live in a table called . . . wait for it . . .  "Tasks."The example below is from AT itself:  Collecting Base Metadata - Universe (airtable.com) which was not really what I wanted to do.  Traditional Gantt views are just unreadable to me.  Calendars are.  I think I'm kind of looking for a Gant

Hey! I'm trying to figure out how to add a portion to a formula that would ensure that it's set for 90 days after a particular field, or before June 1st. The current formula pulls from a date field for when they registered (Date Registered), and adds 90 days. How would I add a restriction onto this formula so it's 90 days, or until June 1st?  DATETIME_FORMAT(DATEADD({Date Registered}, 90, 'days'), 'MM/DD/YYYY')

I have a date field in my table named “Date Paid”. I would like to determine the week number of the month that date falls into in another field. Example, 2017-11-01 falls into week one of November, 2017-11-06 falls into week 2. Is there a formula that will do this? I know in VBA I can write a function to do this but want to do this in Airtable. I’ve been able to determine the month “Date Paid” falls under pretty easily with, MONTH({Date Paid}) but don’t see any built in functions for week number of the month Thanks for any tips you can provide for this!

When using Calendar view, I really need to be able to look at “This week” on the first line, and the next 2 or 3 weeks. This is easy on Google Calendar, I have a “3-week” custom view set up on it. As long as I’m set up on 3-week view, I can see “This Week” as the top line and the next 2 weeks. Right now, I’m at the end of January, and I need to see “This week” on Airtable along with the next 2 weeks of February. All I can find is the 2-week view, which only shows me “this week” and “next week” and that’s not sufficient for the way we schedule our tasks. It would be even better if I could do this with a total of 4 weeks (this week, and the next 3 weeks) but seeing a total of 3 weeks would suffice. Any help? Also, any possibility of a scrolling yearly calendar that would show 3-4 weeks at a time, but give me the ability to scroll one week at a time? This would be even better.

Is there a way to build a Calendar view that allow us to scroll 1 week at a time through a 3 or 4 week view, using the scroll wheel on the mouse? You need a large monitor for that to work but I have a 42" 4K so that’s not a problem lol. I am a rookie here so if this is a super-simple answer, forgive me lol.

Hi everyone! I am creating a directory by linking a shared Airtable view to a webpage and most users will be on mobile. I would need external users to have the ability to sort and filter within the Airtable view when using a mobile device, similarly to what is currently doable on the desktop version. Is that possible? **3/18 UPDATE: AT support was unable to find any evidence of why this happened; we were also unable to recreate the events and have it happen again. The ticket with them remains open; best guess is that it happened during the same time as a service outage (there was one that affected rich text fields around the same time.)We have a table in a base set up as a simple ticketing system, nothing fancy.Users update a long text field with any actions/updates to the ticket in question.All users who have access to the base access the same way (grid view), though they each have their own view set up.We utilize the '@mention' feature to notify the responsible party after certain actions, and when they become responsible.We've noticed that any time someone enters new information in the long text field and '@'s' someone, the record removes all previous '@'s'.I've watched this happen in real time, and am confident that the system (Airtable) is making th

Hello. I have two tables. Project has a date field "submit date." It is linked by the "Project ID" field in Project to the "Project" field in timelines.. Linked records in the "timelines" table vary on category (color team), with one called "submit.". Each timeline entry has a date associated with it. When the "submit date" is updated in Project, it should update the "submit" entry for that project with the new date.I am having difficulty making an automation for this.Step 1: When a record is updated. Step 2: Find records. I've created an automation 'When webhook is received..' -> 'Run Script'.  Inside that script, how do I add arrays/objects as inputs to the script received from the webhook?Here is an example payload:{"AccountId":"820","MessageType":"ContactModified","Parameters":{"Contact.Id":"73953","ProfileChanged":"True","Action":"Created"}}As you can see, 'Parameters' is an object with different keys, depending on what the 'MessageType' is. I just want to accept 'Parameters' as an object in my code so that I can make different decisions.From what I can tell, AirTable forces me to statically map the input. What happens when $.Parameters.ProfileChanged does not exist, but I've told AT to use it?

I have a paid account that I need to move to a free account. I created an inventory for a client that I don't want to lose access to, but that I don't need to update or change at all. It has more than 1GB of attachment data that I don't want to lose, but don't need to actively use. What will happen if I switch to a free plan? Will I just lose the ability to add anything, or will I lose data entirely or partially? Thank you!

Hi, just trying to get some advise on how to start creating an inventory managements base on airtable. We provide kits with have their own unique indentfying number - and each kit contains devices which we record the serial numbers of - they belong to each individual kit. Is there a way to build this out so that the Kit ID "contains" the unique devices? But still make them moveable and flexible ? We also will need to track stock that has not yet been built into a kit - but all with have unique serial numbers. Many thanks for any insights! 

Hello, I’m trying to learn basic scripting. I’m following some examples to get started and build a useful function, however I’m hung up pretty early on. I’m trying to pull all the entries for one specific field in a view. However, when I do this, my efforts keep ending up giving the “id” and “name” column, but not whatever I specified as the field. Hi you’ve got those great Extensions (made by Airtable) like Chart Extension and Pivot Extension but in the Interface Designer, making Bar Charts for example has substantially less options. It is actually quite annoying to create a Dashboard in the Interface perfectly knowing, that a better, more insightful Dashboard remains hidden inside the actual Base. Thanks!

I'm a new enough user that I don't really know if this is a Base Design, Automation, Sync, or Formula question - apologies.I use Airtable to manage a golf travel business and I have one Base that is a client list with 2 Tables (Names and Past Trips). The Names table has 20+ fields/columns. I also have lots of additional Bases that I use to manage the individual golf trips.I would really like to pull in information from the Client List Base to each of the Trip Bases. For example: I have a Roster table in each Trip Base where I list all of the travelers in the first column but I would also like Airtable to automatically pull in each client's Email, Phone Number, and Handicap Index from the Client List base (since they are all tracked in Fields in that Base).Is this possible with the free version of Airtable? And if not, is it even possible with one of the paid versions?Thanks very much for any suggestions.

Hello - We have a table of home improvement companies and we use the multiple select feature to indicate what services they offer. There are 82 services under the select feature and we add as many as the company does. For example, Best Painting is tagged for "Interior Painting" "Exterior Painting" etc. During a bulk upload, we use the website as a unique ID, and we want to add services to existing companies without replacing their old ones. Best Painting is on our bulk upload list, and we want to add "Cabinet Painting" to their services. When we do this using the CSV extension, it always clears and replaces the existing services. We have merge records toggled on and it will say "1 record will be updated" - but it always replaces instead of adds. Any tips?
