For my small business, I have three levels of information I'm trying to manage. I have (a) the human client, (b) their pet, and (c) the services that they want for their pet. Each human can have multiple pets, and each pet can have multiple services. The projects themselves occur at the pet level, since one human might come back multiple times with different pets, and all the services for a pet occur at once. A pet will not come back for more services again in the future, so it makes sense that we could consider "pet" to be the main unit of analysis (sorry, I'm a social scientist by training, forgive my lingo). A big part of my work is thinking about how I complete tasks by what services I need to do in any given day; in other words, Spot might need Service A, Service B, and Service C done, and I care about knowing what services I've already done and what I still need to do for Spot. My table has 3 fields:One field is country selection - e.g. USA, EU, Canada..One field is product - e.g. table, chair, cabinet...One field is supplier - e.g. supplier A, supplier B, supplier C. Does anyone know how to set rules/conditions in SAME field of airtable FORM INTERFACE at below scenarios?  Scenario 1 - select USA and table, filtered option is supplier AScenario 2 - select EU and table, filtered options are supplier B and supplier C I am not familiar "add condition" or "add condition group" in form filtering. Pls. advise if you know how to do it. Thank you.

I have setup an automation to create a new event in Google Calendar. I need it to be an All Day event however, the automation does not create it as such. Instead it is adding an arbitrary time to the event, in this case 12pm.I am using the same Date field from my table as my Start and End times and the date format in the table does not include time. I am also including the same Date field in the All Day Event option when configuring the automation.Does anyone know how to create an All Day event in Google Calendar through an automation?(I do not want to make the Start Time 12:00am and End Time 11:59pm, it does not create the same type of formatting that an All Day event has on GCal.)

Hi hi.I'm stumped. I set up a ridiculously basic automation for a client to send an email at a scheduled time. It's set up as follows:Trigger: at 9:00am on the 15th of the monthAction 1: Find Records that match a condition (billingStatus = Bill By Month)Action 2: Using the records that were found in Action 1, send one email per record. Each email has my client's email address as both the bcc: and the Reply To email. The Run History shows that earlier today, the automation ran once and 4 emails were sent. But my client got 6 emails! 2 were correct and only were sent once = yay; 2 were sent to the same email address twice - one with the right information and one with the wrong information = boo. I’ve just started diving into Airtable and have successfully setup our Jira Cloud instance and synced the data into a base. This seems relatively useful, however not being able to update fields and sync them back is quite a big drawback. Are there any workarounds to this? Is this feature anywhere on Airtable’s roadmap?

Hi. Sorry, but I'm struggling to know how to do this. After my automation sequence, I want to update a date field with todays date to show when the automation ran. I've searched hard here, but I cannot find a way to do this. I've tried a formula in the chosen field to update, but formulas don't seem to be accepted in the 'update record' module.

Hi everyone, a coworker and I are designing a new AT system to help our communications team manage content production, marketing campaigns, and individual tasks related to both content and campaigns. To solve for multiple needs and use cases, we're thinking of creating a standalone base for each one of those buckets (content, campaigns, tasks) and using two-way syncing to make sure they're all talking to each other. The issue: When our team leaders create a new campaign in base 1, they also want to create new pieces of content (stored in base 2) and assign that content to team members as part of that new campaign. They want to be able to fill all that information out in the same place. Is it possible to design an interface form (or just a form in the data layer) in base 1 that could be used to fill out both campaign info housed in base 1 *and* content info housed in base 2? And if so, could someone show me how? 

Hi, my interface was working fine before (like a couple of weeks ago).I created an interface where I can add a "payment" to a given "instalment".As you can see in the screenshot : allow users to create new records is activated.But in reality, I cannot... To me this is a bug... How do I report this for a (fast) fix please ?

Hello, I am trying to set up an automation that is sending out all our Purchase orders as an email via a shared distribution list.I can link my account, but I do not have the option to choose the "send as" Example: me@test.com  is my account and I also have access to the procurement@test.com distribution list. I log into my account in the "send email via gmail" automation, but after that it is linked to my private email. I can choose the distribution list as a sender via Zapier, but I would like to cut that out. Thanks for any help and advice

Hi Everybody! since start of the year I've noticed a change in the behaviour of one automation, that is causing me a lot of trouble.In a table I've a formula field that generates the ID necessary to link the record to another one in another table. The automation copy this formula field in the link field and the association is done. The link field as the selection limited to a specific view. Up until recent, this automation as worked very well, but now is not selecting the linked record only in the specific view, but outside of it.Sadly in the table that need to be associated, there some ID that are identical, so the association is not correct anymore. For this reason the selection on the link field on the first table was limited to a specific view, and it worked just fine, but now is not the case anymore.I know that the better solution would be to change the formula that generates the ID of the second table, so that they are unique, but this h

Hello everyon, so I have created this project management based on the template. I have got around 10 people in the group and how can I do that when each person logs into that base it will show tasks by name individually? Cuz for now you have to do it in condtions 

I’ve searched, googled and tried all the formulas I’ve found and nothing is working. I feel like I’ve spent more time working on these dang formulas than the table itself. Any help is greatly appreciated. Also, if anyone knows anywhere I can test a formula or understand what each means in the order it should be would be a huge help. I just don’t understand Airtables examples (its just words…no way of linking) which is where I think I am failing. I have a scheduled tab with dates (no times) for upcoming projects. I’d like to have a formula that shows if the date is today - the formula reads - DUE TODAY. if the date is within a week - Due next week If its due in 1 day - due tomorrow If its past due - Past due. I know its simple, but again - I loose it on the commas, parentheses and quotations. Maybe if i can figure this out with some help I can add some emojis. Thank you.

Hi everyone, I'm trying to reproduce the following Excel formulas in Airtable, which returns the third column from the "Tabella gest" table if the match is satisfied. INDEX('Tabella gest'!$B:$D;MATCH(1;('Tabella gest'!$B:$B=G2)*('Tabella gest'!$C:$C=BX2);0);3)I've two tables:- "Tabella gest", from which I have to retrieve the third column if the match is satisfied and use the columns B and C in the match, called respectively "Canale commerciale" and "Classe ABC" - "Input", which has the columns G and BX for the match function, respectively called "Tipo codice materiale" and "ABC ordinato" I don't have any idea if this is possibile and how I could do it, so I would appreciate anyone's help. 

Hi friends,I built a pretty robust Interface app for 4 types of users. I applied permissions so the Interface shows only records that are relevant to the current logged in user only. However, I can't get rid of the option for the users to view the Base data (they have the "View Data" option when clicking on the upper left icon in the Interface suite.This jeopardizes my whole Interface app, as users being able to see other users data is a business show stopper.Please advise!

We have an integration with airtable that leverages oauth. In some cases we have been seeing intermittent failures when trying to get a refresh token for the same user, without auth edits. The refresh flow will work but then in some cases will return an `invalid_grant` error with the description `Invalid token`.What are the reasons this might be happening, and why would it work for the same user/auth and sporadically break?

Hello! I want to add something to the formula below. I want to add the condition that IF the column 'Fixed exchange rate' is not empty (there is a number filled in) THAN that number should be used BEFORE using the Forecasted exchange rate. IF the Column 'Fixed exchange rate' is EMPTY, than use forecasted exchange rate. Is it possible to limit the filter option (tags) in one field based in the results of a filter set on another field?Example: I've created a view and shared the link. The user comes to my view and wants to filter the results displayed. Assume user wants to filter on two different fields (both of which have 10 values/tags each).User selects 1 filter out of the 10 options available in Field 1.User then goes to select a filter from Field 2. Is it possible to have the options available to select in Field 2 limited to just those that remain associated with the results of the Field 1 filter rather than showing all 10 of the Field 2 options. Let's say only 3 of the 10 Field 2 options are associated with the items in the result of the first filter. Can the filter selection view simply show those 3 or does it have to show all 10 even though 7 of them would result in an empty result set? Thanks!

I have 2 tables in my database:'Employee Directory' with fields: Name, Seniority, Department, and Email.'Equipment Requests' with fields: Request, Employee (linked), Department (lookup), Email (lookup), and Status.I would like to create an automation where, upon the creation of a request (trigger), an email is sent (action) to the manager of the same department where the employee works.After setting up the trigger ('when a record is created'), I attempted to configure an action ('find records') that operates on the 'Employee Directory' table, finding records based on a condition. The condition should be 'where Department is' some dynamic condition. However, I am unable to select a dynamic item for the Department; it appears grayed out and states "Cannot assign list of string to string".Could you please assist me with this issue?

Hi!I'm trying to remove whitespace on the sides of a full-screen expanded view of a record in my interface to make the expanded view of a record more condensed - is there any possible way to do this? I think it was a possibility in the old interface designer but I haven't figured out an intuitive way to do it in this one.

Very new user here.I have a simple base with one table and one form.  It is designed to add new people to a mailing list.  I created a form to add new records, and that seems to work fine.  Now I need to create a navigation.  I would like to see a sidebar which includes 2 items, the table and the form.  Is it possible to have the table and the form in the same sidebar?  I don't really need to see the buttons at the top (data, automations, interfaces).How can I add the 2 items to the sidebar, then reliably cause it to appear?  While playing with this, I saw a sidebar, but once I left it, I can't figure out how to bring it back.  Can anyone help?  Thanks...

Hi All,Newcomer to Air Table here.Can someone assist and let me know if I have created a base and, in that base, I have four tables.Is it possible to share just one table from that base but allow that person to be able to edit and add to that table but at the same time not be able to see or edit or add to any of the other tables in that base?Appreciate your help in advance
