Hi there,Just wanted to see and confirm, that after duplicating a database, if you delete any records in the duplicate, it doesn't impact the original database, i.e. that you don't delete records in the original.  I feel they are both separate entities, but wanted to make sure.Thanks,-Robert

Hi all, I need to build a form to collect a person’s name and email address but when they sign up a small application fee is also collected. I am thinking of using Stripe or Braintree for payment processing. The key question here is where will the backend database be hosted? On Stripe/Braintree or on Airtable or on both? Another angle w.r.t the same question: how to go about making a form that accepts a payment? Have you done this before? If so, how did you do it? Thank you so very much, Freedom.

You guys have been so helpful in the past, I'm hoping you can help jog my brain once again!Scenario:  Organization that wants to track membership recruitment efforts with something like a CRM funnel.  They will need multiple funnel / pipeline scenarios, each with its own set of steps.  Each step will need it's own metrics for tracking results.  For instance, if one step in the funnel is inviting new contacts to join a facebook group, the metric they would track is whether the new contact did, in fact, join the fb group.  So the metric will change for each step of the funnel.  Some of the steps may be common to multiple funnels.Each funnel can have multiple people in it simultaneously, spread across the funnel's varying steps.In addition, people could (potentially) be in multiple funnels simultaneously.Oy.Anyone have thoughts as to how to structure the base?  I'm struggling to wrap my brain around so many relationships all at once!  I will be fore

Hello,I need two solutions or two ideas for reflection concerning my use of forms via the Interface part of Airtable.I have two separate forms for my CRM build with Airtable :- Form 1: Create a product that will be stored in the product table of my database. (Each time I have to create a new product, because I make unique products)- Form 2: Create a quote, which will include one of the products created in Form 1, and stored in the quote table.I've noticed a few limitations, and I'd like your help.When I create a product via Form1, instead of getting a message telling me that my item has been created, I would have liked to have the id of my created product displayed in return.When I create a quote, and I want to associate one or more products, unfortunately I don't have access to detailed data in the pop-up that displays the complete list of my products. Hi there,I understand that Airtable webhooks have this limitation:The number of webhooks per base is limited to 10. A single OAuth integration can create up to 2 webhooks per base.In a nutshell, users of our integration are creating automations picking Base and Table, and configuring what they want to happen when an event is received. Meaning, a user may build 5 automations for the same Base, which obviously conflicts with the above limitation; however, our users aren't and shouldn't be bothered w/ these API limitations.In order to mitigate this, I'd like to register notifications to a Base (and all, or all relevant tables within that Base), and would then like to broadcast events that I receive from Airtable to the interested consumers. A problem here is that the event payload only contains `base.id` and `webhook.id` (along w a timestamp and the content-mac header). That's pretty unfortunate, as it prevents me from doing that broadcast.Is there a chance we could have the table.id spec

I want to make absolutely sure that the automation will never run again on that record under any circumstances, - even if I accidentally change a field and the record records a new modified date/time.Is this possible please?

I'm trying to create an interface which will enable review and selection of candidates, in order to select them for our program. They will be reviewed by 4 jurors, so I want each juror to have their own view in interface to give grades (1-5) to each candidate. So basically all 4 jurors  will review and give points to each candidate. I see there is an option in Interfaces to set up to 'view as', but I'm not sure if I can set it up this way, so that each collaborator has their own 'view' all in one interface page, based on their collaborator account. I have attached a screenshot to refer to, as to what I mean with the 'view as' option for different collaborators. Otherwise, is there a better way to set this up?

Currently, I need to integrate my app with Airtable, my customer can connect Oauth with Airtable and sync data from my app to Airtable view calendar. I need to get a list workspaceId to create a new base or table, but I only can get workspaceId with enterprise API, I am a little confused should I buy plan enterprise with my account developer or do all my customers need to have an enterprise account?

I'm so stumped on this. I've been creating automation to autolink my records, but now I have a messy array field and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to autolink it. I've read the solutions for how to update a multiple select field without overwriting via automation. However, I have a bit of a wrinkle—this doesn't seem to be possible when using a Repeating Group.The background:I have a list of live performances in a table called Shows. I have a list of performers in a table called Artists. The two tables are linked via a Linked Record field so that Artists (one or more) can be added to specific shows.Some Artists perform on shows year after year. I have a multiple select field in the Artists table for "Years Active."The desired automation:When an Artist is attached to a show, I'd like the "Years Active" field in the Artist's record to update to include "2024" in addition to any existing years already in the field.The issue:Normally, I would insert the current value of "Years Active" followed by a comma and then "2024." I'm fairly new to Airtable and have a question as I'm building my database.I've found it helpful for me to assign "focus times" for tasks independently from their due date in previous systems, so I added a Single Select field named "Status" that has several options: Today, Tomorrow, This Week, Backlog, Completed, and On Hold. I have attached a screenshot of how that looks.Is there a way to create an automation that (at midnight) automatically updates anything with the Tomorrow status to have a Today status instead? I was able to create an automation to change a singular record, but I failed to find a method to update them all. I'm not sure if it's impossible, or if I just don't understand automations enough yet.Regardless, thanks so much, and have a great day!

Hello all, I have a question, and hopefully there's some type of solution to this issue. I managed 3 properties, but for now - we can just focus on 1. Property A has a total of 100+ units. When an end user fills out the form - they type in the unit number - and this is how I have my automation set up:As you can see from the above image, I have a find record and it will update that record for it's respective tenant. Example: The concern here I'm facing is, because Property A has 100+ units, is there a simpler way of creating automations to find records for each unit?Here's a view of the configuration for Property A, finding the "101" integer:Essentially, the goal is to not create 100+ automations for this property to statically assign each unit, but my fear is maybe I have to?I hope I articulated this!Thanks!

Hey y'all, hoping you can help me solve a thorny issue. We use Airtable in a big way across all of our teams, and we've built a Daily Duties board to give ownership and sightline to the must-happen daily needs of the business. Individual team leads assign their team members to the tasks weekly.The issue I'm having is in maintenance - currently we are duplicating the empty records weekly which is cumbersome and time intensive. I'm sure there is a way to do this via automations, but the issue I run into is date/time fields - running an automation to create records at a date/time, but neither configuration for start/end time - static or dynamic - is getting me what I'm looking for. We have both a start and end time so that it can be easily shown in a calendar view like the attached image. Any advice? I've bopped around here on the boards for a bit now but haven't found a particular case that matches what I'm looking to solve. Thanks!

I need to display a list of all contacts filtered by the Zip code entered in Filters: how can I retrieve that value from their company ?I already placed all companies in a nice Googlemap addons so salespersons can visualize where clients are, but values were all in the companies table, whereas here I need to show the contacts emails to reach them if someone visits their region. Thank you !

Hi, I’m looking to build MVP using Airtable. So, I would create Airtable form where customer would choose answers. After form is filled based on the answers, at the end of the form customer should see XY amount. Customer should be able to pay that amount via PayPal or Stripe. I've just read that there will a limit of 1000 calls per month to the API... I use the API on several base to expose data on small website but I can't find where is current state of those usages... So I can't have any idea about my monthly number of calls - How can I check this ? There are statistics of items in base, automations, users... but where is the API consumption state ?Thank you.

Hi allI have an interface which allows users to add new rows, using the 'Record review' interface layout and the + button form at the top of the list of records on the left.I have a simple linked field, linking to a company table. Why doesn't it display any data from the company table as it does in some grid views when linking data? The linked field has the code as a primary field, but it has extra fields such as name and type etc, that would be really useful for the user to see which company they are linking to. This seems like a bug?  any suggestions?thanks
