Hi all, I love the AT community and can often find solutions within articles but can't seem to find anything that helps solve my current situation:I have a multiple-user assignee column and often people from lots of different teams get pulled into one task. We also have a multi-select team column showing which teams are directly involved with the task. I currently have automations set up to add the relevant team into the team column when any of the team members are added to the assignee field. But as conditional automations only run until one condition is satisfied and then stop without making updates for any other satisfied conditions, I have had to create a new automation for each team, to ensure it updates for every assignee. I am currently trying to write a script to combine all of these automations; I have coded the part to input the table and source (assignee) and destination (team) fields, but am stuck as to how to define each team and the relevant team mem

Is there a way to get notified of a new comment on a record? Either through the API or within Airtable itself?

 My automation exceeded the run limit 2500 in just a few hours because I don't know how to control it! Can someone help me?  

Hello So we have database with pictures and wanted to know if its possible to have Logos like in picture attached to database and if possible how?

I have a table that records all of my business leads.I have another table that functions as a report, to provide a summary of all those leads, how much they cost, when they were generated, so on and so forth.These tables are linkedCreated Date column & Created Month column is automated to fill in this linking field when a record is created in the business leads table, to populate the reportHere's the problem, the business looks at weekly data from Fridays to Thursdays. Hi,I am new to Airtable, so finding my way...We are developing a simple CRM in Airtable which will include contact information for individuals. We intend this to be the single repository of contact details for our small team of <10 people.We would like the basic contact details (name, company, email, phone) to be synced out (one way) from Airtable to each team member's Microsoft 365 account so the contact details are available in Outlook and also then on their iPhone etc.I've tried setting something up with Make.com, but (a) it seems quite cumbersome for what I imagine is a very common desire for anyone building a CRM; and (b) it seems hard to make it work across multiple users, as it relies on creating an entire Make.com workflow for each user, which is not really practical.Am I missing anything?!Thanks,James

Hi folks,Can anyone help my failing Friday brain out please? I have a lookup field pulling through a maximum of 3 payment dates from a payments table. I need to break those dates down across 3 columns; earliest date, middle date and latest date. I have a MIN and MAX in place displaying the earliest and latest values, it's the middle date value I cannot figure out. I don't suppose anyone can solve this with a formula can they? I'm hoping to keep the workarounds to a minimum if possible.Much virtual thanks in advance!

In a lookup field of a record linked to many records, I have a large string of dates. They are in no particular order.e.g:2024-01-09 4:30pm, 2024-01-04 7:00pm, 2024-01-08 2:30pm, 2024-02-09 11:00am, 2024-01-12 6:00pm, 2024-01-12 1:30pm, 2024-01-09 12:30pm, 2024-01-15 5:30pm, 2024-01-12 12:00pm, 2024-01-10 12:00pm, 2024-01-16 5:30pm, 2024-01-18 12:00pmHow would I use a formula to refer to a separate date field(date only, no time), and create a new string with only dates from the large string that match the specified date?e.g. If I specified "2024-01-09", for the data above this formula should return "2024-01-09 4:30pm, 2024-02-09 11:00am,  2024-01-09 12:30pm"Thanks!

I'm creating a new extension that will automatically update records in a table based on data returned from a server API endpoint that I control.This API computes a lot of data and will take longer than 30 seconds to respond, so this can't be a normal synchronous API call.What is the best strategy for doing this in my extension? I can think of three possible ways -* Can extensions listen for webhooks, where I call an API and get a webhook back some minutes later?* Or maybe the server writes directly to the table when the data is ready - can an extension facilitate this automatically?* Alternatively, can I have my extension automatically & continuously (without user interaction) poll an endpoint every hour for new data and update the table?Thanks for your ideas!

Hi.I have three tables: Teachers - in which all our teachers are listedMeetings - in which they upload their meeting notes with studentsGroup Reporting - in which they group and report meeting, but I'd like to make in easier on them and have the pop up that loads all the "meetings" only load the ones that have be done by the selected teacher. if possible also exclude the ones that already have been grouped and reported. How is this possible? does it mater that we are using the free plan? Also. Teachers aren't "user" they are records in the first table, and all this is done using forms. Thanks,Tomer  

Hello, I created 2 automations in Airtable: 1- to calculate the distance between two points using the Haversine formula and: 2- for reverse geocoding to convert latitude and longitude into an address. Unfortunately, I'm getting an unexpected result when I execute a new data record; it updates results with numerous rows! Does anyone know how to control this?

I have a 2 tables Events and clientsI have a form based on events table that clients submit their event requestsi want to when they open the form to have an id field based on clients table  that once they type (or choose from a drop down list) All their  info is added to the form so they dont have to type first name , last name , email and phone 

I am trying to use this to automatically add 15 or 5 days to the contract date. The “calculation” field is an IF statement to calculate which amount of days to add. BUT I cannot figure out how to get the formula to add the days and give me a new date.

I am confused. I do not have very many records but some tables have about 150-250 fields per record.  When I use the interface designer is it the SLOWEST thing to edit, to the point of being useless. Why would this be as I only have like 200 records in most cases? It  also seem to happen in the evening a lot but I do not have any other extra  computer processes running compared to any other times. I'm getting lags of half a sec on selecting fields normally, I have to literally "Select" say "one one thousand"  then move the field.... but then at evening times and such and a few others I'm getting like a  1-3 second lag time on field selection response and occasionally up to 5! My latency is like 27-33 fyi.

I’ve noticed my (custom) apps are taking much longer to load lately, coinciding with a steady increase in records. The apps load records from filtered views, which don’t necessarily have a ton of records in them at a time. Would the amount of records in the whole base affect the speed of the apps, even if the apps in question aren’t loading all of the records in? Thanks!

Hello! Very new here, so bare with me.I have a table of employees. One of the fields in the table is which states the employee is licensed in.I then have tables for each state. In those tables, I would like the names of employees licensed in that state. I will then use tables to keep track of state-specific details, like license number in that state. I'm wondering how I can make it so that if I add an employee record, and then add a state to the state field, that employee also gets added to that state's table.Thanks so much!

I would like to know when a repeating group in Automations is finished. I try to use a number field and update it incrementally but the formula does not seem to work in Automation. Is there any other way?

Hi there, I've done a bunch of research here and on Youtube and I've not been able to replicate what I see here. I have Project and Tasks tables. I've created a template in the Projects table that adds a few tasks And it works - I get the tasks created, when I apply the template to a new project. However, I'd like to add the Project Name to the tasks that are created. I found an example of this in Airtable's docshttps://support.airtable.com/docs/using-record-templates-in-airtableThe Tasks in the far right column shows the Project name in parenthesis.But I cannot replicate this - how do I make this happen?Desired ResultProject = Project ATasks

Hi there,I'm trying to create a field in a table (say Table B), where its output is takes into consideration a condition based on a field in Table B, rather than the original table it is rolling up from (which I know Airtable has a simple filter for).In my "Scheduling" table, I want to be able to enter a single date, or a start and end date. This field will look at all Shoots linked to the Team Member that is linked to this record, and spit back out a list of Shoots that have a start and end date/time that is within the dates I specified in the Scheduling table. [Context: This table is linked to a form, and its purpose is to notify a Team Member when their shoots have been scheduled and a short summary of their earliest and latest by email, triggered by an automated button in Interfaces.]The image below shows the structure I've got going now. Hello all,Hope you all had a good holiday season.I have looked, but can't find anything around this, which I think is simple.  Most of what I am seeing on here looks more complicated than it should be.I have a Date Formula field that I would like to populate with Today's date if a box is checked.  I can get that part working, but the rest of the fields show the #ERROR! message.  I just want to hid the message and show nothing.This is what I currently have:Thank you for any help,Matt 

I am working in Postman. The field in question is "Taxes Owed - PDF". I get the error shown below. If I change the field type to single-line text I don't get an error. I don't want to change the field type. Hi All, hoping someone can help with this.I have a database of clients for content creation, and there are various deadlines for each piece of content we write (for example publish due date, writer instructions due date, draft due date, etc.) We manually enter a publish due date and all other due dates are calculated based on that date using these formulas: DATEADD({Publish due},-10,'days') or DATEADD({Publish due},-5,'days') etc.Recently we've taken on a number of clients from new marketing sources who will have custom deadlines. We have added a column which specifies where the client came from. I'd like to have the dates calculated as above, but ONLY if the client came from Source A.  If the client came from any other sour
