Hi (newbie here),Can you do a rollup on a Lookup field in a different grid?I have a table of employees. There is a table of Trips where we look up the employees from the employee table. Then I have a Departures Table that pulls in the Employee information from the Trips table. Now I would like to do a count(rollup) of the number of departures each employee has.I am having problems figure out how do this. Any help would be appreciated.
How can you publish specific Airtable info into a Google Slide? My team uses our base for project tracking and we want to publish specific information from Airtable to Google Slides or some other presentation format. Hello,My sister operates a bakery from her home, and I want to make things easier for her by creating a system in Airtable where she can take orders for her products.As a bonus I'd like to be able to track repeat orders from customers as a way to determine customer preferences, habits, trends, etc.There are a few problems I'm finding with this. Airtable has no way for customers to "make an account" so to speak. I'm inclined to create a table for customers, but...Customers would need to complete a separate form if they're a new customer, then come back to the order form, which feels cumbersome.For each customer that already exists in the base, Airtable will reveal all of the names in the customer table whenever a returning customer begins to search for their name, which just doesn't sit right.We could simply request name and phone number each time, but I'm not sure if that will allow me to combine those records based on phone number in order to be able to assess trends based on those or
Hi All, I’m wondering what is the best way to calculate some basic counts on a table via the API. We need to calculate simple counts such as total records with a Status of “Fulfilled” and total records where Status is “Fulfilled” with where the Fulfilled Date is today (see excerpt below). I’ve written a Node Twilio function to retrieve the records and then loop through them and calculate which ones meet the criteria. We then use Zapier to retrieve this output from Twilio and put it into our Slack channel daily. However, as the table grows over 30,000 records, I’m running over the 10 second execution limit in Twilio. Having an issue where multiple paragraphs in AirTable are showing the same bullet point of 1. Rich text is enabled but it isn't working correctly (it shows up correctly in Make.com but doesn't transfer over from AirTable)Please help, thanks!
Hi All,I have an automation issue coming from a formula field.The lookup field is coming from Tasks table, and the regions are repetitive, so i created a formula to make it as a text and im hoping the automation will take the Regions Text to a normal editable field 'TASKS - Regions', but it updates it with a blank value in the end (the blue circle in the end). Hello everybody, I have a weird problem with a gmail automation. When testing the automation works perfectly. The automation looks for a field value that is greater than 4 and then the actions are run. When manually changing the a value in the record that is used for the automation to a value greater than 4 the automation also runs perfectly. But when the automation its run automatically I suddenly get the following error in the logs: It doesn’t make any sense that this automation suddenly throws errors when it is run automatically, but every other way of running it works fine. Also, when this same automation is run again manually it just works… Someone any idea what’s going on?

Hello,I have a formula field that is supposed to return a value ("updated") when a last-updated field is today.I live in another time zone, but all of my dates are set to Eastern time to reflect my working hours. Some of the posts I have read have said that a time zone error will produce this problem. To show that all time fields are set up for Eastern, I am including screenshots below. You can see that the last updated date/time is today (10/10), and the value of today is also 10/10.The formula field is not showing the value "updated." Here is the way the formula field is set up Here is how the last-updated field is set upHere is the way the start date field is set up I have also tried using "now" instead of "today."I am sure that there is an explanation, but I'm unable to find one based upon my searches of the community posts.Thank you for any help you can provide!
Hi,I have been using AirTable on a regular basis. Yesterday I noticed that my chrome browser refused to go to the website (error was certificate not valid). Upon inspection, I found that it is because, for some reasons, my browser has been redirected to a different website (web.remscripts.com) and it is this different website that has an invalid an invalid certificate. I tried a different browser (Firefox) and I did not have the same problem there.Do you know what happened? Is the website (or my computer) infected?Thanks!

I've been trying for two weeks to create some automations with integromat but i can't find a solution, can someone explain me step-by-step the necessary integromato flow (i'm sorry but i haven't knowledge in the field).I have a two tables in Airtable, OR and RA. The two most important fields in OR are: Name and Surname, Machineries and Last Modified (Machineries is a multiple choice field). When i select one or more machineries in OR i would like that every single machine will be automatically saved in RA, each machine in a different row with the associated name and surname, so that i can save in each row the time the machine has started working and the time it stopped, in order to compound the utilization of the machine.Trying to do this process i incurred in many problems, when i deselect a machine from OR it does not delete the record from RA, but it duplicates the record of the remaining machines; when i select an extra machine the new machine is saved but the previous ones are
Hi there, I’m a long term user of Trello and new to Airtable. Trello had a feature where you could forward emails to your board. I would have a to-do list board and whenever I got a request emailed to me I could just forward it to the board and it would create a to-do item for me. Does this function exist within Airtable? I am trying to incorporate a formula column which looks for entries which may include swear words, but I cant seem to get this formula to work. Here is a snippet (I've taken out a lot of the middle which is just 3230 different swear words) but the beginning and end are there. Any ideas? Hello, I am starting with Airtable Scripting.I need to use the content of two cells as input text for a function that formats the text in a specific way.Using this way I only get the value of the first row [0], but this needs to work for every row. I published an interface and when I open it in Chrome on an Android smartphone everytime I scroll with my thumb, the detail page opens and makes it impossible to bite the entire list.Records should only open when tapped, not on a swipe!

Hey guys,Just trying to work out a simple Formula to create a day count until a certain date (based on one of our fields) without including weekends. For example. We have a customer due date for an order which is put into a field, just wanting to have a field that calulates how many days we have for production until that date. So far I have: DATETIME_DIFF( {Due Date}, TODAY(), 'days')Which works fine but is including weekends. To combat this, I did try:WORKDAY_DIFF( {Due Date}, TODAY(), 'days')But this is throwing an #ERROR. I know I am definetly missing something. Any help is appreciated.

Hello,I program a film festival and we use Airtable to organize the submission we receive. This year we have two different programming teams that should watch half of the submitted projects. I wanted to create a formula that would calculate the total of duration of the films (we have a field for the duration in HH:MM:SS), divide it in half and then assign each half for team A or team B. Is that possible? I have tried to add some simple SUM formulas but I'm still a beginner in all of this. Thank you!
I have a shared table that is accessible to users who are not using Airtable. They can view the table using the link I provided without any issues. Within this table, there's a "notes" column where I want to refer to another record by saying "please see here," with "here" being a URL link to another record.As an Airtable user, I can click the link and access the other record, but non-Airtable users encounter a block. They are prompted to request access to the entire database, which I'd like to avoid. Is there a way for non-Airtable users to access the record URLs in the comments section without the need to create a new column for linked records?
Hi Community,I'm trying to purchase a Teams account but I am part of an entity that is not allowed to pay taxes. The form I'm sent to has a space for a credit card and says I'll be charged "applicable taxes". I'm not actually sure what happens when I hit 'submit' after entering a credit card, is it charged then or is there some other page I get sent to? I expect the former.Is there a way to pay for Airtable without paying taxes?
