Hi all!Here's a question... I'm making a basic task list in my base, I added a {Due Date} column with field type 'Date' and I have the time also showing in the same column. This will help me schedule tasks by date and time.Values in {Due Date} look like this '2/14/2024 5:00 pm'. I have another column {Date} with a simple formula DATETIME_FORMAT({Due Date}, 'MM/DD/YYYY') so I can get the date alone without the time.Heres the problem... Everytime I schedule a task pass 6:00 pm in the {Due Date} field, the {Date} value changes 1 day. Example:{Due Date} 2/14/2024 5:00 pm{Date} 2/14/2024{Due Date} 2/14/2024 6:00 pm{Date} 2/15/2024Help!

Hello!I am trying to set up a formula to when a checkbox in the field "Invoiced?" is checked, the "Status" field is then changed to "Invoiced". I am setting this up so that Zapier can (hopefully) check a box if a record is still there and override anything that is no longer in the Excel file. I am trying to create a formula that would do that and can't seem to figure it out. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!

I have a table with several "linked to another record" fields and a multi-select list with one option for each linked field. I would like the list to be updated automatically based on the following logic:If the linked field is empty, the option related to that field shall not be selected in the multi-select.If the linked field is not empty, the option related to that field shall be selected in the multi-select.It looks quite easy to do with a script, but laborious with an automation because of the way automations update lists. They do not add or remove options based on what has changed but instead is asking me to tell what options shall be selected and which ones not. This forces me to start my removing all the previously selected options in the multi-select list, and then define the automation based on all the potential combinations of empty and non-empty linked fields. I am trying to build a B2B application and I want to keep the logical separation of data between the two customers. Let's say I want to give the ability to my user from Business X customer to choose an employee name from drop down that should be relative to their business. When a user from Business Y clicks the drop down, he should only see the employee names from their own business and not for both Business X and Business Y (which seems to be the current case). It is a privacy issue. I can manage this manually by creating visibility filters on softr.io or having a separate view on airtable for each customer, but it is not scalable. Is there an easy way to manage that?

Hello everyone!I have two tables:Table 1, where records correspond to products,Table 2, where records correspond to sales of products.I'm trying to create a single roll-up field in Table 1, so that for each product record, it gives me the sum of all revenue generated from all sales records in Table 2 which correspond to the product in question.I seem to understand that the conditional rollup formula will only allow me to sum records in Table 2 for which a particular record (e.g., "Product Type") equals a fixed value (e.g., a single-select). I am trying to set up a rollup formula which will execute different sums according to the different values that could show up in a particular record (e.g., different Product Types for each individual sales record).For example:Table 1 has 2 product records: Books and CDs.Table 2 has 10 sale records: 4 for Books and 6 for CDs.

We have a table syncing to our team's base that gives a summary of our workstations: like the user's name, start and end date, and the booking availability, (available, booked, on hold), station nameWe'd love a chart or report that allows us to look into the future by selecting a day or date range in the future, and get back the number of stations available and number booked on a given day or within the date range given.Is this possible? Trying to use the charts and filters in Interface designer but unsure how to get what I want. I think the issue is if a station's Booking Availability field is "Available", then the dates would be empty. So I think I'm realizing trying to use filters based on dates won't get me info on stations set to "Available"

I’m having trouble writing a script that creates new records (representing jobs) based on the following parameters: start of date range end of date range days(s) included That is, if Mondays are included, create a job on each monday within date range. I use a function to add jobs onto a stack, and call the function for each day of the week as required. My stack is defined outside the function as: Let newJobs = ; The new records created included a date field. That’s the problem. I can see my function looping through the dates correctly, and even pushing them onto the stack. But when everything is finish, every job on my stack has the final loop date. The same date. My plan was downgraded since my team member has added one extra-collaborator and missed some invoices since it was overlimit and supposed to be billable.Before we were on annually paid team plan.We deleted an overlimit collaborators and want to get our team plan back. Hey there! I’m syncing some records from Base 1 to Base 2, and that’s working just fine. In Base 2 I need to be able to add additional records alongside the synced ones. I set up an automaiton to copy these new records over to another Table in Base 2, which works perfectly. I was then trying to use an Update Record automation to copy changes, which tests fine but fails in practice with an error. Is that possible, or is there a better way to accomplish this? I was using Find Records with a condition of my manual unique ID (not the Airtable Record ID), which it seems to do, and then try to apply the updates to the Record ID from that step (Step 2). It all says it’s good, and can even update it from “Run As Configured” - but it fails when I test it by updating Base 1 and syncing Base 2. Updates fine in the sync but fails to update the record in that second Table. Thanks!.

I have a table of feedback for two cafes in a base. Each bit of feedback has an assigned category. I have another base that is linked to the category so that I can view aggregated data such as average feedback score by category. This data is then visualized outside of Airtable. The problem is that in Airtable as category is the primary, it lumps the cafes together in each row, so from this table I can't distinguish one from another. I need an output where I can see organisation as a breakdown of the  category. Something like this (almost like a pivot table structure):How would I go about designing my base in order to achieve that?

I also modified the authentication system as the tutorial explains it.However, it doesn't work and I get the following error message: "Sorry, we were unable to convert the null value to Record type."Could you please tell me what the problem is? There's a public Airtable that I want to access via API, but I don't have admin permissions to the table (just the link to it). Is it possible to access this data? If it helps answer the question, what I am trying to do is create a program that allows the user to paste the airtable link and convert that data into a .ICS file.Thanks for the help in advance.

Hello,Your help will be appreciated with the following issue:I have created a form and shared it via a link ("Share form" button in a form view). I need to fix typos in the form description. When I change the content of the form (in the form view), the webpage displayed via the shared link does not change accordingly. Same for the page displayed via the "Open form" button (actually this is the same URL as the shared link). I am under impression that it should.I recall that several weeks ago Airtable seemed to be working differently, i.e. the changes made in the form view were propagated in real time to the webpage reachable via the shared link (and via the "Open form" button).I do not believe this is a problem with my local browser cache, because others who open the form page on their computers for the first time ever, still see the outdated form (while their browsers did not have a chance to cache anything yet).Am I missing something, or am I

Hello, It is my company's first attempt at using Twilio. We already have our account and phone number. Was wondering how do I set it up so we can test if the message was successfully sent to this number.  Such as updating a Single Select field in AirTable corresponding to the record that would say "SUCCESS" or "FAIL". Is that possible?  What would I need to do to set it up?  I know there is a statuscallback URL within the AirTable Twilio automation action, do I do it through that?   How about collecting received responses?

I have setup AirTable to support a gaming group of which I’m the admin. The multiplayer game does not have any admin tools leaving us to develop our own solutions. Having done table design and DW/BI work in the past, I was able to build the table structure and views without any difficulty; once I learned how the table linking worked in Airtable. I’ve even been able to create and post the “forms” for users to input data and respond to events with their “bids”. The next logical step is to create the output I need. I’ve attempted to connect Excel to Airtable with little success. I can get the connection created, but I only get a single field of “Record” values. I have a list of clients and a list of vendors. some clients prefer only a subset of vendors - i define the preferred vendor relationship in my base design. I have a form that collects requests to engage a vendor for a quote. I want : Basic: Based on client selection to present only relevant vendors in the list. Advanced: I want to present relevant vendor based on vendor category in addition to the above what’s the best way to do this with the newly added functionality of logic on lookups / rollups etc? Hello! How to link tables, but to include info in form of linked variants to choose from? Here is the deal. We sell cars. And need Airtable as a database to synch to our website. Our team members add cars to the database. The question is: How to make dropdowns in columns from linked tables, so they would “know” the previous column and provide an option to choose from a specific number of variants? Here is an example: We want to add a car. It has a lot variables, some of which are: “car maker”, “model” and “specification”. I would like to have a columns dedicated to each variable. But so if for example I choose “car maker” Mercedes-Benz, in the next “model” column I would get only Mercedes-Benz’s models, and after I choose, for example “S-class”, in the next column, “specifications” I would only be able to choose from that model’s specifications? Hi! Mailed support and didnt get a reply. So Im trying here instead. I understand one can have a conditional dropdown that adds all the values from a linked table. But what if I want to select between the values? Lets say I have TABs called “Company” “Office” and “Employee”. Now I would want to add an Office to an employee - but only the offices linked to a specific company. How would one do that? Im guessing using IF statements - but would it work for string values? Helllo, New to the Airtable platform. I am wondering if this is possible. I am developing a manufacturing schedule and in the schedule you have a Phase and multiple (different) steps in each phase. Ideally I would like a (2) drop-downs side by side and the second one becomes dependent on what you chose in the first. So if i Choose Phase 3 the second column would only show steps associated with Phase 3 not all the others. Thanks

In particular I need Dropdowns, which offer a subset of choices based on the result of another dropdown/field. For example, I would like to have a drop-down “LAND”, which gets the data from a separate table (LAND, REGION). The table would then look like this: COUNTRY, REGION Switzerland, Aarau Switzerland, Bern Switzerland, Zurich Germany, Baden-Württemberg Germany, Lower Saxony Germany, Saarland France, Aquitaine France, Brittany France, Poitou-Charentes …, … A second dropdown “REGION” should then only show the regions matching the selected country. We review a variety of documents for client. Such as bylaws, legal governance documents, and financial statements. Currently I have a base and a form set up. The form allows a client to submit the documents they would like to have reviewed and provide their client information. Once that is submitted the base is populated with the documents broken down by category, the clients name and contact, and a unique ID for the batch of documents. At this point we vet the documents to confirm they are the right ones start to extract the information that we need. Data can be in the form of select phrases within a set of bylaws, critical dates of documents expiring or when they were registered, and the financial details of a document. Once this is done we create a summary of our findings and present it back to the client. This is largely done manually at this point with a few automations. We want to start fully automating this process and use Airtable to store our data. B
