HiI have some linked tables. The first link is between "People" and "Working Groups". When in the Working Group table I can look up people's names and add them to the field "Members". When in the People table, I can make a link back to Working Groups, and a field called working groups will self populate with all the Working Groups that people are members off. This is all working fine.I have a second link between "People" and "Training". When in the Training table I can look up people's names and add them to the field "Attendees". When in the People table, I can make a link back to Training, but I can't make a field that will self populate with all the training people have received. What am I doing wrong?The only difference in layout between Working Groups and Training, is that training's unique identifier is a date.Any light you could shed would be very helpful.Thanks,Davva

Hello, I am trying to create an algorithme in AIRTABLE using the script automation. I have 3 tables : Mission_Request, Cookers and Companies. My script compares all the pattern in both Mission_Request (wich is connected to Companies table) and Cookers and when there is a match, it is supposed to fill the "MatchingCookers" cell in MissionRequest with the Cooker best match. My script doesnt' have any type of error and i don't have any kind of mail error. My script is active. My journal log don't have any kind of error. Does anyone have an anserw ?? It will be very helpfull. Thanks !!! And i would like any advice from people who have made an algorithme in airtable!!! Thank you! 

Hello, I am trying to write some automation that should call some function in our server through a script and pass as input the image data that is stored in some field. How can I pass the image data ?The url I get there is private and  inaccessible through the server. I tried to convert it to base64 but FileReader is not available, also to pass the binary data using FormData but it is unavailable as well .Any help will be much appreciated.Yaniv

For some reason I cannot select the text within my formulas, meaning I cannot choose which text to copy for pasting later. It is only within the formula editing that I cannot edit the text. I can select text everywhere else:Selected text on here:Can't select text hereOkay to select text here:

Hello,I have a problem with a formula linked to a look up. I have a table with my banking transactions (linked to my bank) and another with forecast expenses. I did a look up to get the bank balance and I made a formula (Bank balance-expenses) for the first line the calculation is correct but for the other lines it does not give me the balance calculated above. Do you have any ideas to solve this problem?

While on a product feedback call with proj. management platform ClickUp, I asked if there were any 'Airtable-like features' in development or on their roadmap.I proceeded to explain my love for Airtable as an early adopter, but they continue to make user-hostile changes, refuse to listen to the community, & price increases. "Are you familiar with Airtable?" I have these two fields Formula on Contract Yield % is this:({Contract Rent PW}*52)/{Purchase Price}I need to replace the formula in the Contract Yield, to an IF formula.More likely:When the result on Contract Yield is 0%,   If Contract yield = above 1%, use Contract yield formula, but if it's 0% I need to use Appraised Yield Can you please help me what is the correct formula to make it work?I already tried (IF({Contract Yield}=0,{Appraised Yield}but it's not showing the correct results

Apologies if this is a simple question - I've tried to figure this out for hours now and I'm at a loss. I'd prefer not to use automation for something so simple, but will do so if necessary. I am trying to assign 4 different users records as the come in.  I found this code const collaborators = [ {name: "Person 1"}, {name: "Person 2"}, {name: "Person 3"}, {name: "Person 4"} ] const chosenOne = collaborators[Math.floor(Math.random() * collaborators.length)]; output.set("collaborators", chosenOne.name) My problem is that it doesn't exhaust the 4 names before repeating.  What do I need to do to this code for it to go through all 4 options and then repeat?

I accidentally deleted a base and restored it from trash but none of my information is in it. I am getting an error message. Base not found.

I have three forms to fill out with data, and they go in sequence. Is there any way that the answers from all three forms go into one entry. Right now, each form creates a new record.

There's a Status single-select field and a Timestamp field (since this data is being imported from elsewhere) that shows when the data was captured in the original system.There's a second table named Opportunities. All the interactions with one individual are linked to their respective Opportunity record. I need a field in the Opportunities table that reflects the Status of the linked Interaction record with the most recent / max Timestamp.The solution to the post I linked above pulls the max date, which would work if all I needed was the most recent Timestamp date pulled into the Opportunity record. Hi,I am running into issues. I am not a coder at all and I ask GPT to help me. Usually, it does a great job in writing some basic scripts and it has already created nice solutions with scripts. But this time, I am running into issues. I have a huge database and I was asking GPT to write a script to merge duplicates. When I do it one by one, it works. But as soon as I let it search the whole database, it crashes and mentions that it's taking longer than 30 seconds. I was trying to break it down into smaller views, but the problem is that it should check all the data actually, and searching records is also not an option since that's limited to 100 only. Hello! I am looking for a freelancer with references to build out my 2024 marketing tactical plan. I've used Airtable before for relatively simple project tracking, but this is more detailed. 

I’m wondering if there’s a way to open an edit record page within an Interface for a linked record field using a URL. We have several linked records fields for different resource types that get attached to our tasks, so that we can get further info about the resources associated with those tasks, but we’d prefer not to have to display on the edit page all the various linked record fields for every resource type since only one per task is actually linked. We’d used a synced table to unify the different resource types coming from different tables, but we have more than the allotted sync amount. Any idea or suggestions greatly appreciated!

Hi, all -I'm fairly new to Airtable and use this software to track participants for trainings that we offer. In some instances we have a participant attend more than one of our trainings. I currently have our trainings set up as a multiple choice field but when I group by trainings attended, it's putting these students in a different bucket and I would rather their individual names show up in each of the attended training, not create an additional section - picture for reference of how it currently looks. Hoping this makes sense and any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi, I'm new to airtable and am trying to get a simple conditional VAT formula to work. I feel like I am circling the solution but I'm not quite there. Essentially I am trying to track various hires and purchases for work, some of which have VAT and some do not. I have a Gross cost but I need the NET cost (without VAT).I currently have a VAT Field that is a single select field with options None and 20%. I'm trying to write a conditional formula for the NET Cost that is based on the VAT field and essentially works as follows:IF {VAT="NONE", Gross AmountIF {VAT="20%", (GROSS Amount/120)*100I keep getting invalid formula and error messages and I'm not quite sure what I'm missing.Any help greatly appreciated! 

Hello all,I have a problem that I'm trying to fix, and I have not been able to fix it with the posts with related questions.I have a field with numbers that I want to round up to another field with numbers. I'll explain the situation:So it's about ordering products. I get an order recommendation let's say for product A this is 55. But the products are packed in boxes of a certain quantity (let's say 20), so I cannot order 55 pieces, I'd have to order either 40 pieces or 60 pieces (2 or 3 boxes of 20 pieces).Is it possible to use a formula to automatically round the number upward to meet the required amount (in the examples this should be 60)?
