I have developed an interface and published to regular users, having two different tables. However, currently, it only permits users to search within a single table. Is there a way to enable users to conduct searches across both tables from this interface? 

I have a table of events that all have a start and end time/date.  The start field is "Start Datetime"For example, I have event that has a start datetime of 1/1/2019 at 11:00am.  All in a date field.  1/1/2019 specificially we use as a generic fallback for old events that didn't have a date.  So we pasted in 1/1/2019 at 11:00amThese events are linked to those who participated in them.  And they have a payment amount noted.So I created a rollup field with the intention of knowing how much we paid out to those in the last year.The rollup seems to be capturing linked events which are clearly older than a year, however, and I'm not sure why.My rollup filter has the "only include linked records from the Events table that meet certain conditions", and then a filter set to only include Where Start Datetime is Within the past year.Then it aggregates by SUM(values).None the less, it

I want to calculate the difference between 2 dates. One is the purchase date of a condo and one is the sale date of that condo. I need the number of years and months to figure out refunded common charges at closing. I have the formula working for years or months. But can it be both? If not, anyone have experience in this scenario and their solution? And in the same formula, the field shows NaN if there is no data in one of the fields. For current owners the buy date will be populated, but the sell date will be blank. How do I tell the formula to leave the field blank if one field is blank? Thanks in advance for any help on this. I would like to set-up an automation using "Run a script" that checks the text in the primary field [Name] for a matching value in a multi-select field [Topic] and then populates the field with the matching value. Would greatly appreciate any help with creating a script and automation that can accomplish this as I am unfamiliar with scripting. Included sample data screenshot for visual. I am trying to solve the problem that I have illustrated in the image below. I am trying to create/calculate (see image) {Rate} and {Day Total}. In the below example, the first record for "Old Cypress - Weaned Calves," if the "Weaned Calves" == "Pasture" then pull in the value .70, and then multiply that value with the "Inventory" of 450. This will result in a "Day Rate" of $350. Any help will be appreciated! Thank you! 

I'm trying to get two conditons from two fields that contain certain text that if True produces a duration value.  I can get it to work work one condition but when I add the second it will not work.  Can someone see what I'm doing wrong? This Formula works: IF(FIND("ABC",Origin),3600,0) But when I add the second condition it shows all 0's on the fields that contain "ABC" and the fields the doesn't contain"ABC" gets the 3600: IF(AND(FIND("ABC",Origin)),AND(FIND("New",{L

What's a good way to copy data from one field to another in the same table?Currently, I have data in Field A that I want to copy to Field B because I want to deactivate Field A (probably hide it.) Then, going forward current processes where data was entered via a form to Field A would instead be entered into Field B.So, this is a one-time need but there may be other changes in the data structure where having an automation in place that performs this task would be handy.If this is an automation, I'm not sure what to use as a trigger.Any ideas are welcome.

Dear Community,I do have a table with a formula field, which tells you how many times a row has to be copied.I did set up an automation which tells you to copy the row, when formula field is bigger than 0.What I can't figure out is how to tell the automation to stop copying once the desired number is reached. Is there a way to achieve this?Thank you.

Hi! I think this is simple, but can't figure it out...I have a base where I have a “Sales“ tab, here I have the date, client, and price sold. This tab has all the sales for the entire month. I can make a new “Daily view“ and filter by date, so now I can see only the current date. I can see totals here...I need to have an automation send me the total sales for the DAY. I can get(find records) the “Daily View“ from the sales tab, but I can only see a list/grid with numbers for each sale... i want to see a TOTAL DAILY SALES.Help! 

Anyone else having issues with the Interface Designer? Mine is so laggy I can't even use it. 

Hello All,I have an automation that uses a for loop to create a new record based on input from a form. When the automation is tested in "run as configured" mode the new records are created as expected. However, when testing live the automation fails to create the record. However other aspects of the automation completed correctly so I know the automation is triggering as it should. The fact that the tests are working correctly makes me think that the issue lies with something on the Airtable side and not the automation side. Could this be the case? Thanks!

While working in a Timeline view, is there a way to select a record and alt-click-shift drag to duplicate? Moving a record between swimlanes is a convenient action. Duplicating a record by clicking the three dots to the right of "expand" and choosing duplicate is convenient action. It would be really handy to just alt-click-shift-drag a record or records to duplicate it in the same swimlane or another swimlane.Certainly, I'm not the only user who might find this helpful.Thanks!

Hello! I am creating a form for a table (let’s call it Table A) which has fields linking to another table (table B) in the same base. When filling out the field on the form on Table A, the user can only see the data in the primary field of Table B. However many of the records in Table B have similar primary field data making them difficult to distinguish. Being able to see one (or multiple) of the other fields would be really helpful. For the time being, I’ve made the primary field on Table B a formula that merges the most helpful relevant fields from that table, but it makes all my Table B views very messy/ugly. I wish this formula could be in a non-primary field so I could hide it, but then my Table A form wouldn’t show it. Please tell me there’s something stupidly easy I’m missing! Is there a way for a form to reference/show any thing BUT the primary data? Or is there a workaround I can use with another table? Cheers, Nathan

Hi fellow Airtablers!Could anyone suggest how can I make the ''Next charge'' date field recurring on a yearly basis every year if the toggle in ''Frequency'' is set to ''Yearly''? This dilemma is driving me nuts 😞 Right now, I just have a formula in that field:DATEADD({Latest charge}, 1, 'years')But it's not ideal because I would need to manually update ''Latest Charge'' field with the previous year every year.Ideally, I'd love to solve this with a formula because I'd have lots of entries, and it may be a bit cumbersome to create automation for each and every entry.But if automation to update the latest charge is absolutely needed, what is the best way to go about it/set it up? 

I have set up automations to send messages to Slack channels when specific conditions are met. These automations function correctly, displaying the intended bot name and bot icon. However, I've noticed an issue over the past few weeks. After an unpredictable amount of time, usually about an hour, Airtable sends a duplicate message with "Airtable" as the bot name and the Airtable icon as the bot icon. I'm unable to find a way to prevent or deactivate this secondary notification.Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I like this reminder feature I tapped into sometime last year.  I am using it to monitor subscriptions based on their "Expiry Date".The triggers have worked so far, but I just noticed that obviously the Expiry date needs to be updated each time the date passes so that the reminder is triggered yearly/monthly recurrently, until I set the subscription to "Disabled".  What is the best way to do this?Sorry if this has been covered.Many thanks 

Say I have a base with two tables, A and B, where the primary field of B (a single line text field with the name B_name) has values B, 1 and B, 2, and where A has a field, B_name, linking to B. And say I now want to use the CSV import tool to import a single record into table A: A_name,B_name A1,"B, 1, B, 2" When I import this using the CSV import tool, the correct links to B, 1 and B, 2 are not established. How can I either Format the CSV I’m importing, or Configure the import in the CSV import tool such that the correct links are established? Thank you!

Hi! I have recently discovered OpenApi and I am working on a project that requires me to translate text from English to French. I used scripting extension. The script fetches the translation from OpenApi and outputs it to “Translated field”. For some records, Everything seems to work fine. However, for other records the translation doesn’t always work and sometimes it outputs incomplete sentences or random links. Is this because of my script or is the OpenApi random? Any Idea why the scripting block would give me this error?  I've seen let query = await table.selectRecordsAsync();used in other scripts.

Hi! I'm trying to create an automation to assign a due dates to tasks that all have a due date of Thursday, and the tasks vary by how many weeks out they should be completed. For example, our "Final Paperwork Due" task always needs to be due the Thursday 2 weeks out from the event date.I've been able to make a formula that can automate the deadline to a certain number of days out from the event, but I can't pin down how to always make the due date a certain day of the week. Any help appreciated!
