Hello,I have a problem with a formula linked to a look up. I have a table with my banking transactions (linked to my bank) and another with forecast expenses. I did a look up to get the bank balance and I made a formula (Bank balance-expenses) for the first line the calculation is correct but for the other lines it does not give me the balance calculated above. Do you have any ideas to solve this problem?

While on a product feedback call with proj. management platform ClickUp, I asked if there were any 'Airtable-like features' in development or on their roadmap.I proceeded to explain my love for Airtable as an early adopter, but they continue to make user-hostile changes, refuse to listen to the community, & price increases. "Are you familiar with Airtable?" I asked.  "Yes, only because I've had 3-4 people tell me the same exact thing in the past few months. The team is looking into what it might look like." So to the point of my story. If he's heard it 3-4 times, ClickUp has had DOZENS (or more?) of requests from unhappy Airtable customers. This also means HUNDREDS (or more?) of folks have shared similar sentiments to other productivity SaaS. My true hope is to stick with Airtable, that it goes back to respecting the community, especially after all the layoffs but without changes at the top, I'm doubtful.  

I have these two fields Formula on Contract Yield % is this:({Contract Rent PW}*52)/{Purchase Price}I need to replace the formula in the Contract Yield, to an IF formula.More likely:When the result on Contract Yield is 0%,   If Contract yield = above 1%, use Contract yield formula, but if it's 0% I need to use Appraised Yield Can you please help me what is the correct formula to make it work?I already tried (IF({Contract Yield}=0,{Appraised Yield}but it's not showing the correct results

Apologies if this is a simple question - I've tried to figure this out for hours now and I'm at a loss. I'd prefer not to use automation for something so simple, but will do so if necessary. Here is my issue:I have an intake form setup to receive responses from sources external to my org. Let's say it's a form to request for sandwiches to be delivered. The user selects from various options for types of sandwiches (Peanut Butter, Ham and Swiss, Roast Beef). Each of these sandwiches take different times to prepare. Therefore, I have the following tables with the following fields:Sandwich RequestsTypePrepare TimeRequesterDate ReceivedEtc.SandwichesTypePrepare TimeThe "Sandwiches > Prepare Time" field is just a number - the days it takes to prepare a sandwich. I want this to automatically populate into the "Sandwich Request > Prepare Time" field automatically based on the type of sandwich requested. How do I do that?

I am trying to assign 4 different users records as the come in.  I found this code const collaborators = [ {name: "Person 1"}, {name: "Person 2"}, {name: "Person 3"}, {name: "Person 4"} ] const chosenOne = collaborators[Math.floor(Math.random() * collaborators.length)]; output.set("collaborators", chosenOne.name) My problem is that it doesn't exhaust the 4 names before repeating.  What do I need to do to this code for it to go through all 4 options and then repeat?

I accidentally deleted a base and restored it from trash but none of my information is in it. I am getting an error message. Base not found.

I have three forms to fill out with data, and they go in sequence. Is there any way that the answers from all three forms go into one entry. Right now, each form creates a new record.

There's a Status single-select field and a Timestamp field (since this data is being imported from elsewhere) that shows when the data was captured in the original system.There's a second table named Opportunities. All the interactions with one individual are linked to their respective Opportunity record. I need a field in the Opportunities table that reflects the Status of the linked Interaction record with the most recent / max Timestamp.The solution to the post I linked above pulls the max date, which would work if all I needed was the most recent Timestamp date pulled into the Opportunity record. However I need to know the most recent Status based on the Timestamp.Any thoughts? I may be missing a simple solution here. @Ben_Young1 ?

I first want to say how much I love using Airtable. But am super confused. I thought I was paying for a monthly rate and the charge on my credit card today was over $1000. So in Canadian funds that is over $1300. I can possibly pay that!!! Help!

Hi,I am running into issues. I am not a coder at all and I ask GPT to help me. Usually, it does a great job in writing some basic scripts and it has already created nice solutions with scripts. But this time, I am running into issues. I have a huge database and I was asking GPT to write a script to merge duplicates. When I do it one by one, it works. But as soon as I let it search the whole database, it crashes and mentions that it's taking longer than 30 seconds. I was trying to break it down into smaller views, but the problem is that it should check all the data actually, and searching records is also not an option since that's limited to 100 only. Hello! I am looking for a freelancer with references to build out my 2024 marketing tactical plan. I've used Airtable before for relatively simple project tracking, but this is more detailed. 

I’m wondering if there’s a way to open an edit record page within an Interface for a linked record field using a URL. We have several linked records fields for different resource types that get attached to our tasks, so that we can get further info about the resources associated with those tasks, but we’d prefer not to have to display on the edit page all the various linked record fields for every resource type since only one per task is actually linked. We’d used a synced table to unify the different resource types coming from different tables, but we have more than the allotted sync amount. Any idea or suggestions greatly appreciated!

Hi, all -I'm fairly new to Airtable and use this software to track participants for trainings that we offer. In some instances we have a participant attend more than one of our trainings. I currently have our trainings set up as a multiple choice field but when I group by trainings attended, it's putting these students in a different bucket and I would rather their individual names show up in each of the attended training, not create an additional section - picture for reference of how it currently looks. Hoping this makes sense and any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi, I'm new to airtable and am trying to get a simple conditional VAT formula to work. I feel like I am circling the solution but I'm not quite there. Essentially I am trying to track various hires and purchases for work, some of which have VAT and some do not. I have a Gross cost but I need the NET cost (without VAT).I currently have a VAT Field that is a single select field with options None and 20%. I'm trying to write a conditional formula for the NET Cost that is based on the VAT field and essentially works as follows:IF {VAT="NONE", Gross AmountIF {VAT="20%", (GROSS Amount/120)*100I keep getting invalid formula and error messages and I'm not quite sure what I'm missing.Any help greatly appreciated! 

Hello all,I have a problem that I'm trying to fix, and I have not been able to fix it with the posts with related questions.I have a field with numbers that I want to round up to another field with numbers. I'll explain the situation:So it's about ordering products. I get an order recommendation let's say for product A this is 55. But the products are packed in boxes of a certain quantity (let's say 20), so I cannot order 55 pieces, I'd have to order either 40 pieces or 60 pieces (2 or 3 boxes of 20 pieces).Is it possible to use a formula to automatically round the number upward to meet the required amount (in the examples this should be 60)?

Hello! I am trying to automate the following process: when a file is uploaded to a specific Dropbox folder, a new record is created in Airtable with the file attached. This works fine, but there is no preview in Airtable. I have created the following automation in Make (formerly Integromat):Here are the details of each step:  Below is what is seen in Airtable. As you can see, no preview is shown.I have already done some troubleshooting myself:I have tried uploading manually. This works fine and a preview shows up.I checked the limitations in Airtable's documentation: the image is not more than 1 million pixels. The image is uploaded to Airtable as .png, and not as a .zip file. I currently use Chrome, and I have tried using Safari as well.I have added another contributor to the Workspace, and they cannot see the preview either. The error message I see is: "Previews for this filetype are not available".Does anyone know a solution to this? If I cannot get the previews

I have 2 different tables in one base that I want to connect to one Calendar for easy to view access without having to switch to different calendar views constantly. Is this doable?
